Exciting First Teaser Trailer for THE LORD OF THE RINGS: GOLLUM Video Game
Exciting First Teaser Trailer for THE LORD OF THE RINGS: GOLLUM Video Game
Daedalic Entertainment has been building up another computer game set in J.R.R. Tolkien’s Middle Earth named The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, and today we have our first gander at the recording from the game! It’s just about a moment long, yet the recording is entirely cool!
In the trailer, we see shots of the cavern that Gullom lives in, and we see him slither out of the cavern to observe that…

I realized I never took the moment to brag about this, but in January I entered in the Arisia 2020 Masquerade for the first time and won two awards - Best Performance and Honorable Mention: Best Prop. The prop in question was this guy.

The Marquis de Hoto (from the gorgeous point-and-click adventure game The Night of the Rabbit by Daedalic Entertainment) was the first stuffed animal I'd ever made. I stitched him and his clothes by hand over a long weekend as my sewing machine was clogged from the brocade coat I'd been working on. I nearly didn't bring him to the convention; at the time all I could see were his flaws. His legs were wobbly and uneven. I hadn't given him a nose. The stitching of his coat looked messy to me. If I was noticing all of this, surely the judges would, too.
But I'm so glad I did; aside from winning me an award, he was comforting to hold onto backstage and a great talking point during conversations with fellow contestants. Both my friends and the judges were flabbergasted that I'd hand-stitched him, commenting that they would have guessed I'd used a machine.

Aside from taking this chance to brag, I'm also posting this to tell people that even if you're not sure something you made is good enough, that doesn't mean it isn't. I didn't realize just how good my rabbit was until other people started pointing it out. All I could see were its flaws, but others were able to recognize how much hard work I'd put in and praised me for taking the risk. So whether its sewing, drawing, writing, singing, or anything else creative, if you worked hard on something, don't be afraid to show it off, even if you think it's flawed. Hard work is appreciated.

Decay: The Mare Review
by Nic Bunce
Decay: The Mare is an interesting name for an interesting game. Unfortunately it’s also an incredibly daft name, which doesn’t really mean anything. Decay is simply a reference to an episodic point-and-click horror franchise developed by Swedish indie outfit Shining Gate and published by Daedalic.

Deponia. One of my favourite games! I got this game on Steam a few days ago and I finished the ENTIRE game (9 hours on record) in a day. I absolutely loved this from the first second til the very last. I'll try to get the rest of the trilogy as soon as I can  :D (if I can afford it lol)

nanDEMOnai is back on track with my peek at Munin. It's a pleasant surprise of a puzzle platformer starring Odin's ravens.
