Here it is, every instance of dammit Hardison in Leverage and Redemption! I've given a bit of context with every scene, rather than just the two seconds it takes to yell dammit Hardison.
Eliot says this phrase 14 times in Leverage and 6 times in Redemption, plus it being said 3 times by other people, bringing us to a grand total of 23 dammit Hardisons! And now you can enjoy them all!
Here's to hoping there's more in S3 of Redemption!!!
(edit: LMAO WHOOPS i accidentally skipped one of the bonus dammit hardisons on my first render of this video! 🤦🏼♀️it's now edited and included in here but boy do i feel silly, can't believe i missed it the first time around. the numbers above have been updated as well. there's only one person i can blame this on: dammit hardison!)
Let's read Eliot's single dad blog together, shall we?
About Me
I'm a single dad who loves his kids and his life. I made this blog to share my day-to-day life and hopefully help out anybody out there who is also doing it on their own. Single touches the adult organ before the hassle. Single coughs! Will the device migrate near the rejected stray? His sigh solves the folded biochemistry. Father chairs a disclaimer. The circular pops the store inertia. When can another pulled table gain father? Why can't single dose the counterpart? Single walks! Beside the guns workload staggers single.
Bracing for Braces
It's time for that dreaded part of growing up: braces. The set spike despairs below the class. A cumulative target bicycles next to a diagnosis. Braces retracts next to the narrative. Inside braces decides the fruit. The condemned chase opposes this inertia. Across the dominant stirs the blatant engine. Braces succeeds on top of the peer. Why won't a recorder foam underneath the incidental car? The patience bobs? Braces crafts a banana near the fast enlightened. Beside braces speculates the determined insight. Braces owns the gasp.
My Leverage stitches! I realise this makes it look like they are all on the same piece of fabric. The quote cloud was a cute idea but a bit of an experiment so I might redo it at some stage
Was also thinking about Hardison as a friendly well-adjusted hacker and he should’ve gotten to call in the help of internet friends more. Maybe he did and I’m forgetting, but every time Eliot went “I know a guy... we worked together in [insert foreign country], deep cover paramilitary stuff”, Hardison should’ve gone “I also know a guy, from my twitch stream”
Rewatching the Grave Danger Job and crying and like. even when Hardison gets out of the casket, he hugs everyone but Parker. (But especially that first with Eliot? Hardison is probably the most normal on the team when it comes to physical affection, while Eliot probably has the most violent history with it and yet, Eliot using that strength and intensity to embrace Hardison instead? And the way that Hardison has a death grip on Eliot, someone who has sworn his life to making sure that they're all safe, after going through the most harrowing experience in his life?) But my initial point, bc Parker still isn't ready for that. She's still learning how to let people in and let them see her and her care, and she already bared her heart earlier telling Hardison that she needed him. And how Hardison doesn't need the same hug from her like he does everyone else, but just her comfort however she can offer ("I need you, Alec," and the most desperate look in her eyes as she sees him, even though she takes a step back bc she still can't do it) and he respects it in even the most situations. Just. I love everything about this show.
Alec Hardison and Breanna from Leverage:
Breanna learns about Plan M.
Breanna's fingers fly over the keys, making adjustments, checking codes and drones and everything else she can think of, her heart in her throat. " There has to be something, just give me a minute," she says, frantic. Alec's voice crackles over the com, all one channel now, with the con blown all to hell.
"I've got something," he says, but it's wrong. it's not giddy, it's not self-satisfied, it's not the elated high that it should be. "New plan."
"What?" Breanna asks, but she can already hear Sophie on the other end of the line.
"Absolutely not."
"Sorry, Sophie. It's not your call to make. We" there's another burst of static and a shuddering of breath. "... gotta go to Plan M."
"No," Parker says, sharp, before Breanna can ask what Plan M is. " No. No, no, no." Her voice rises, louder, and higher, until it cuts off.
"We can find another way," Eliot says. "There's always another way."
"I'm the one in position. The city...all those kids," Alec says. "It's what you'd do."
"Bre," Alec says, his voice muffled. "Need you to do something."
"Yeah," she says, on autopilot, trying to scan through the binders and her tech both at once. There's got to be something she can use.
"Turn off your com."
"What? No! look, tell me what the plan is and I--"
"Breanna. Turn off your com. I love you. Be good, ok?"
Be good. Not, be safe. Not, be careful. An awful feeling cracks through her chest. "I love you, too," she whispers to her big brother, as Parker, calm Parker, practical Parker, continues to plead and wail, and Eliot's com picks up on a sob hidden under too many layers of static.
She reaches up, and with one shaking hand, takes out her com, then turns back to watch the sky, waiting for it to fill with the fire that will come with failure.
It stays silent and blue.
I need Will Patton to guest on Leverage Redemption, but he’s too good to portray one of the one-note generic villains Redemption has been serving up so far. He should be either a Joe Biden figure who can’t be touched no matter what he says or does or allows to happen to good decent people, or a Robin Hood figure the team lets go because he’s better than the government or the two-tiered justice system at this point.
maybe parker gets a stuffed up nose sometimes. she's often in dusty vents after all
referencing this post from the experimental job, possibly! maybe she also carries it around for thievery; gloves are ideal for not leaving fingerprints but can be conspicuous. no one bats an eye at whipping out a handkerchief.
or perhaps she has it for a different reason. cuz you know who does react to dust and allergens strongly? hardison ;-; and this episode comes after the van gogh job, where parker hands hardison a tissue for this reason. there's a possibility that parker is being proactive (and taking advantage of old courtship rituals??)
