👣💡Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency, fanart💡👣 Yep, it happened. I guess the Universe wanted it to be this way: I started watching Dirk Gently! And I am happy, ‘cause this serie is just A W E S O M E !!! You know what I am talking about, right? No??? Then open up your Netflix and watch it right away!!! It is crazy, cute, lovely, funny, smart.... I mean, the name Douglas Adams is a guarantee, right? I am all giggling and jumping and laughing, but here’s the damn downside: there are only 2 seasons. Only 2!! 18 too short episodes of the adventures of Dirk and Todd. I’ve seen only a couple of second season’s and I am already crying and begging for more! I’d sign thousands of petitions if it helped... Oh, what am I saying?? I WILL SIGN thousands of petition if there is even the slightest chance to make season 3 (and more?) happen. FELIZ CUMPLEAÑOS GÉMINIS!

Llegamos al primer signo mutable de aire que viene a organizar, etiquetar y conocer la naturaleza (Tauro). Géminis habla de las ideas, y de la dualidad que cada pensamiento conlleva. Los vericuetos, las idas y vueltas de nuestra mente y su ingenio pueden llevarnos a la cima, pero también puede ser nuestra peor enemiga. La comunicación es la otra pata del arquetipo geminiano, porque la realidad es decodificada y codificada en idiomas (ya sean hablados o no, como el de señas por ejemplo), lo que nos permite procesar, entender e interpretar el mundo que nos rodea al igual que a otras personas. Las palabras pueden ser altamente ambiguas, por eso Géminis nos enseña el poder que encierran, y aprender a manejarlas en nuestros diálogos internos (lo que nos decimos a nosotros/as) es un arte difícil de dominar, pero que esta temporada viene a reflotar todos los años para que nos perfeccionemos al respecto.

102 Cameron Monaghan mini portraits! Yep, that’s it: I did it! I wasn’t planning this, but after a couple of pages I was like “Let’s make a round number!” And 100 was the closest one! LOL Because of a forced hiatus due to work, it took me longer than expected, but I finished my personal #100potraitschallenge at the end of the month. Let’s say I do not like all of those little faces, but some of them (even if not that Cameron alike) are ok, some are cool, some are yeahyeah. All of them are tiny, that’s for sure! Joined @girard_eloise #dtiys Beware of the Gorgons! 🐍 It’s been a while since my last Medusa art, and she is one of those girls I like to draw in many different ways, so it was a pleasure to join this #drawthisinyourstylechallenge and get the chance to use someone else’s design. I used grayscale again. I started this piece in a very different way, but decided to erase and start again with grayscale halfway through; I made some mess and I didn’t use different layers for shadows and highlights, which didn’t allow me to modify the hues of some shades later, but whatever, she’s kinda cool anyway ^^ Do not stare straight in the eyes!!! I’m still filling my sketchbook with tiny portraits and even though I have not that much time to practice elsewhere, I am already noticing improvement in my drawings. So, once again, here’s the undeniable truth: practice makes you perfect. Or at least it leads you somewhere better. Don’t be lazy, don’t judge yourself if you don’t succeed at first try and keep going, it will be worthy. Joined @nicolasaviori #dtiys A blue skinned girl with pink dreadlocks and thunder tattoos, what is it strange about her? ⚡️⚡️⚡️ I was captured by colors and light of the original art and I immediately took the chance to draw some electricity! Once you know a trick or two, it is quite satisfying to play with light effects (this doesn’t mean I master them, but whatever...) I was able to take a step further with this piece, or at least I feel so: I tried the grayscale base and then added layers of colors before flatting them all together and play with more shadows, tones and details. Though it was a pain in the beginning, it may be the right process to improve my capabilities. Also, I am trying out unused brushes both from original procreate sets and from purchased ones: if you like to dare, always experiment with new brushes, you may be surprised by something you thought was useless or ugly. 👾👾If you LIKE my art, COMMENT and FOLLOW me: I really appreciate it 👾 COMMISSIONS are OPEN! My entry for @rozeymew ‘s #dtiys ! (Spotted on @kingartchallenges) The genderbend was allowed in this challenge so I was like “why not?”: I said I had to draw more boys after all, right? The rule was to keep colors, horns, heart mark and glitter; though I changed this last element turning it into a glitch (I wanted to use this new procreate tool so bad, but never got the chance!) and I added the third eye, which probably I shouldn’t have..but now it’s there, so it will remain so! The first pic has the line I wanted him to say, but I also picked one of those suggested by you in my story: “The future is not what it used to be anymore” suggested by @i_am_giaco. Thanks to all the others who took the time to write down their ideas. Yep, I used photo reference, as I did for several of my latest drawings and it is helping: do it too, don’t be lazy! Autumn Fairy I wanted to draw, yesterday, but I was tired and didn’t want to struggle too much: a great solution, in these cases, is using the symmetry tool, which was clearly my chosen option. I’ve heard many things about it: some say is cheating, some others can’t make art without it. I think it is is a great tool, just as many other digital (and also traditional) tools are. It is not cheating, ‘cause there’s no such thing as “the artist rule”: I was told I wasn’t allowed to turn my paper while drawing, ‘cause “you may not be able to do so in the future!”, yeah, like if I was going to paint a church rooftop! You know what? I know I can’t turn the roof, but I would be able to turn MYSELF in case. I was told I shouldn’t have used my fingers to blend, ‘cause you should be able to do that with your artistic objects: well, my hands are! My opinion is: if it works for you, than do it as you please. Artists all around the world use their minds and ideas before using their hands and tools: some found way of doing art you wouldn’t believe, or wouldn’t try yourself, others open new path to explore and experiment further. Isn’t it amazing? Don’t listen to those who told you what you CAN’T do: imagining something is the first step to make it real. What do you think about that? My English Highschool teacher thought I was an emo kid with self destruction instincts because I used to wear in black (but not even that much). I wonder what would she say now.. 😅 I was surely a shy and totally not a talker (I think I still am, more or less), but nothing more. I just have a keen attraction to creepy, weird, sometimes slightly disgusting things and yep, I am covering almost everything with extra eyes lately. I went just a little more gruesome here, just because I really love @strangemilyena works and she inspired me into trying something her way; actually I am sure I DIDN’T managed that, but I’ll try again, no doubt. Avdiy was never been much of a someone. Actually, he was quite a useless being with little morale and even less capabilities. I’m not saying he was a bad guy, but he wasn’t a good one either. The reason Croma decided HE was the righteous heir of my definitely awesome power is still a mystery, but I grew used to her questionable choices, ‘cause in the end she had always been right. Who am I, you are asking? Ah, you little mortal being, that’s a great question: I’m Iro, the Color Demon, the Great Painter, the Mighty Artist, the... oh, ok, I guess you got the point. Shortly, I’m a powerful being, but for reasons I’m not going to bother you with, I was caged in a mask. THE mask, the one my lovely Croma carries around waiting for someone worthy enough to wear it. She found Avdiy, a silly street rat guy that I’d describe as “incapable”, but ehy, I have no power to avoid him wearing me!
