Anon said: Would you draw SukuFushi? (Sukuna x Fushiguro)
maybe? *thinking face* if I ever got an idea for it, why not. I find sukuna’s obsession with fushiguro entertaining so I don’t count fanarts for it as impossible haha
Anon said: I looked and I couldn't find if you've answered this already, so apologies if you did, but how do you draw your faces? I always struggle with face shape and yours are always super good with really expressive features! Anyway, thanks so much I love your art <3
HMMMMMMMM how do I do that indeed, the basics are honestly what you’d find on any basic tutorial about drawing a face (circle, cross in the middle of it, build the face around that - I really still can’t avoid that step and probably never will). As for the expressions, to be honest with you my way of going about them is thinking them up in emoji/kaomoji form first and then go from there. Emojis and kaomojis have to simplify expressions to the max since it’s such a simple format, right? But they’re still super expressive and convey exactly what they’re trying to say with one single glance, so using them as some kind of reference sheet has helped me a lot in figuring out what’s essential to express what I’m trying to say - still working on it though! I’m rarely satisfied with my expressions, they really do make or break a drawing don’t they............ you never stop learning, I guess!
Anon said:  Ahhhhhhh I just spent like hrs scrolling thru ur oc tag and they’re all amazing I love them so much but I keep confusing the everloving SHIT out of myself cuz I too have a child who is Leo and he’s literally so different from ur Leo lol. Anon said: bakubro gives the best hugs. kirishima is the only one who knows this. everyone is absolutely incredulous when the question "who gives the best hugs" goes around and kirishima answers bakugo. (bakugo thinks kirishima is the best but he benefits from kirishima bodily hugging him and he's biased)
Definitely!! He’s strong and warm after all, bet hugging him would feel the best.... the only one who shall ever know is kiri though, as I bet his hugs are only that nice when he really likes the person he’s hugging hahaha
Anon said: Hi! Just wanted to say that I absolutely love your JJK art! The colors and style are absolutely stunning.

One of my favorite artists got into jk at the same time than me!!! I just thought it was a neat coincedence to share! I really love your art too, you're amazing!! Happy New Year!!

Probably not, haven’t been reading krbk fics in a while by now! I’ll add it to my for-later list, thank you so much for the rec!!
Anon said: can u believe that (sans sero) the entire bakusquad can be put into some form of punk/goth fashion? the realization was a galaxy brain moment for me. also realizing that tokoyami, kirishima, and tamaki are all varying levels of goth/emo (some more concerning than others)
Sero’s the hippie friend every punk friend group needs, he balances things out and that’s why he’s very cherished and necessary!!!!
Anon said: your bakugo drawings convinced me to finally start stretching my ears and tbh i'm extremely excited (i've had off and on thoughts of stretching my ears (again) before this so it's not as impulsive as it sounds haha)
Anon that’s so cool!!!!!!! I love gauges so much.....................glad I could give you the last push for it!!
Anon said: uhhhh, i love the style of that top left goge drawing dude!!
THANK YOU I LOVE DRAWING IN THAT STYLE THIS ASK MEANS THE UNIVERSE TO ME
Anon said: i sent the dragon!kiri and bakugo tug-of-waring over a piece of meat and honestly your response is exactly what i thought
Great minds!!!!!!! hahaha

anonymous asked:
General relationship headcanons for satan and asmo please?? Your work is just amazing 🥺
Thank you soo much for sending this! It was so cute to write how I imagine they would act in a relationship! Also, you are so sweet anon! Here ya go! (Also, this is a repost because my dumbass forgot to put the tags dbhdjadjkhkla forgive me)
General relationship headcanons for Satan and Asmo
Trigger warning: Brief mention about sexual talk with Asmo
Satan:
You and Satan have smalls rituals that were performed even before your relationship started
After it started, those rituals just became even more prominent.
Whenever either of you has down time, the other would go and just hover around the other. He would be reading a book in his room, and you would just burst in and sit in his lap or beside him, snuggling in his side.
When the relationship was new, he would go absolutely red and act all shy. It wasn't unwelcome, it was just sudden and unexpected. After a while he got used to it and even started to miss your presence when reading alone.
On the other hand, sometimes it's him the one that goes to you. He would go into your room, if you are studying and can't pay attention to him he would just sit beside you and play with your hair or something. He would also help you so that you would finish sooner and he could take you to a date of some sort or just chill together.
(Since you two started dating your grades have never been as good, you have him to thank)
Also, prepare to be way more knowledgeable than you were before. If there is something that isn't amiss whenever you two hang out, is him chiming in with "Did you know that...", And proceeding to give you small fun facts  about anything and everything.
With that said, you have also helped Satan a lot with his anger management. Before he would snap at anything and anyone. He would even accidentally snap at you from time to time when he was way too fed up with something.
You would just give him a hug or reassure him, maybe talk to him in a slow calm manner and that would ease him.
Now, whenever he is really mad he would just look for you, the moment he sees you he would give you a hug and just hold you tight for a couple of seconds until his anger dies a little.
Now when you two fight it can be...hurtful for both parties. He hates fighting with you sooo much. Whenever you two fight, one of you always storm off. Most times it's him, but whenever you are the one storming off, he knows he has fucked up big time.
After calming, he would think about the situation and if he is the one at fault apologize immediately, if not he would still go to you so you guys could talk it out.
But, most of the time, the relationship is just super sweet. Embraces and kisses all the time, slow mornings and preparing each other's breakfast. Sometimes you wake up to the smell of coffee or tea, a small kiss in your forehead and his sweet voice waking you up before saying calling you "dearest", followed by an "I love you"
Asmodeus:
When the two of you decided to start a relationship, the first think you did was discuss Asmo's attitude of flirting with other people. (If you two have an open relationship that both parties consent, he would always ask or tell you whenever he wants or is about to do something. If he compromises to stop doing that, he will take it to heart! This man would never cheat on you no matter what others think! Communication is key between you too in either case.)
Okay, Asmo is notorious for loving contact! But, this goes further than just sexually! The boy loooooooooooveeeeeeees cuddles!
Like, whenever he sees you, expect to be wrapped in his arms. Nay, not wrapped, absolutely engulfed in the demons arms!!
Expect to the cuddle sessions to be hours long. The moment they start, they won't end for a long while!
During this time he would take the opportunity to just bombard you with self care! The boy wants you to be hydrated and glowing so expect facemask, nail polish, creams and all that jazz. Also, expect some of that high quality tea. This boi has dirt even on Barbatos.
Two words
M A T C H I N G  O U T F I T S
From shirts to shoes, bottoms, hair accessories, he would lend you his clothes and will certainly steal some of yours.
Expect to have your fashion be pushed at it's limits! Things you wanted to wear before but we're scared of even buying become permanent options in your closet.
Also, prepare to be hyped up!!!! Compliments 24/7!! In the morning, during lunch, after bathing, during the night! The boy wants to shower you in love!!!
But, if that makes you uncomfortable he would respect your boundaries. He would understand when you don't want to be touched or if his constant compliments make you feel awkward. All he wants is for you to feel happy and beautiful, just like you make him feel all the time.
Also, this boy has his self esteem issues, he used to think no one could love him for anything else that isn't his body. But then you stepped in and showed him how valuable he was and it just absolutely warmed him!!
If you two were to ever fight, this boy would be destroyed! He doesn't like it when you are mad at him. He would take a few moments to think about the situation and you guys always work it out!
He just...loves you sooo dang much! Sometimes, at night he might stay awake just to look at you peacefully sleeping in his arms and it's simply adorable! He honestly can't believe how much he loves you!
Hope y'all enjoyed this and feel free to send me ask some something, I enjoy coming up with those!

reply roundup!
under a read-more this time because there’s so many!
@kirbypunk asked:
doing reblog roundups is a pretty cool idea!! I've never seen anyone do that before, but it's a nice way to respond to tags and things! :0 i may have to consider doing that in the future! (also im glad u like my url!)
I love seeing people’s tags and stuff, and this feels like the best way to make them feel seen, and that way I get to actually interact with y’all! (and if you want to use the same idea that’d be neat!)
@sock-sucker replied to [minecraft]:
no the block should be round
dang, you’re super right, I love that. I’ll have to remember that for next time.
@squawylaous asked:
Kirby is just a pure boi who wants some snacks
extremely accurate and true. I should give him snacks more often.
@abbreblogs reblogged [puddle] and said:

@britie101 reblogged [puddle] and said:
poor Kirbs
he’ll reconstitute soon, it’s just been A Heckin Time
@delta-extract replied to [tag request]:
This is such a respectful good way to compromise, I see a lot of people becoming really agitated about these kinds of things, so it’s really nice and refreshing to see someone handle it so maturely. Thank you for doing so!!
I’m glad it came across as respectful, I hoped it did but I’m not always able to convey my tone properly. I understand that even though there is a Big Picture Discussion going on, that doesn’t invalidate the fact that things can be painful or complicated on an individual level, which deserves to be respected and accommodated for however possible.
@softotherside reblogged [reach] and said:
I want kirby
kirby is very good to have around.
@0-jayless-0 reblogged [small] and said:

@incrediblue reblogged [window] and said:

I hope he doesn’t startle the animals! I wonder what his favorite would be? I always like the tiny hamsters.
@angst-and-fajitas replied to [josie]:
I'm really sorry for your loss
thanks, I appreciate it. <3
@tsukiakarinobara reblogged [ants] and said:

@epsilonnot replied to [)-:<]:

there are a couple different things in here that I ought to draw, but this is definitely top of the list lol (I didn’t draw any replies today because Hell Month and all that :v )

HOW I RUN MY BLOG.
SPEED: i ... uhh well it depends. if im in the zone i can volley back and forth pretty fast. but i do get tired of it after a while and there is no real formula for figuring out what a while is lol. when it comes to not being in the zone... well i take my time and only reply when i feel i can. i work 40 hrs a week at a crazy job that leaves me going fdkljdlgfdjlgf all the time but i AM on new meds that might help me be faster. so the answer is SHRUGS
REPLIES: ehhh. sometimes the shorter the better bc i like a lot of dialogue. i’ve always been like.. more screenwriter-y in the sense that if the actions are short and sweet with good dialogue then it helps me visualize it like a movie in my head. however there are times i enjoy more descriptive prose but the tone varies per thread. in general you can expect most of the narrative captured is a reflection of how ridiculous it is that donald is thor is donald, you know? so anyway whatever you wanna reply with is fine. icons? sure. no icons? also sure. idc my dudes. formatted? whatever man.
u reply i draft until i can find it in me to reply. if u drop a thread idc. u can just tell me if u want or never reply again and i tend not to bug abt it unless we talk a lot ooc then i might be like hey yooo or whatever but even then im just like meh.
STARTERS: i do not typically write opens unless im feeling it mr. krabs. i love when i get to either send a meme and it turns into a thread or u send me a meme and make my reply a thread. it feels easiest. i live for working off prompts.
INBOX: open to whatever. ic memes are for mutuals only. everything else is fair game for other blogs. i reserve the right to be like lol nah and delete an ask.
SELECTIVITY: so what i typically do is look at the blog and look for rules and good bio page of some sort. without those things, the bio page for OCs in particular, im like lol nah. if i think ur writing and mine won’t mesh well i might not follow back. if i think ur character and mine won’t work out well i won’t follow. like idec if ur my best bud, if u muse is mr. so and so and im not feelin it for thor im not gonna follow. i support u my dudes but from a healthy dash experience distance. anyway that said if we write and ur like “bro u should check out my writing partner” and give me suggestions i dont mind checking them out.
WISHLIST: dang i wish i could come up with like... a running arc of a story i could play through out this blog with all characters... idk, it’s mostly on me to come up with something good. my other wish is for ppl who have read my bio and understand who my thor is to show that they know that thru what their character observes abt thor. like ppl who come in writing against me thinking this is regular thor make me :(
HONEST NOTE: i am on new medication that has changed my mood/ability to stay up and do things like crazy. so far so good but i can’t predict how i’ll settle into it. it’s only been about two weeks. if it remains good then i might be around as much as possible but there are def. times when i’ll be absent as fuck for a week or something
u can ask for my discord but tbh i dont chat a lot and i feel like a jerk sometimes bc its def been pointed out that i dont always like... ask if ppl are ok to talk abt a thing or see an image before i send them so i try REALLY hard to be cognizant of that and to respect boundaries. sometimes its just easier to chill and shut up idk. don’t take me being quiet as a sign of hating u, it just means im doin me and i dont got nothin much to say.

☕ . ˚ ◝  (  kim yerim. cis female. she/her. ) bohee park is a twenty year old taurus. the tennis player’s go-to order is an iced chai latte with almond milk and a cinnamon raisin bagel. they like to listen to dreams by the cranberries while they wait for their order. the employees of the deja brew think they are indolent but swear they’re totally generous as well. maybe that’s why falling in love with strangers, scuffs on knees and elbows, and laying in bed until two remind me of them.
Tumblr media
hi there !! i'm bee ( . . . as in bumble -- what a bad joke JNNVMBNC ), and wow, i’m so, so, so excited to be here! this here is the light of my life bohee. the long + short with her is that she has two modes: going, going, going or nothing at all. she means well but she’s notorious for being unreliable. there’s some more info about my little blossom under the cut, and be sure to tap the heart and i’ll come to you. 💖❤️💕
                                          BASICS. 💕
birth name : bohee  park
nicknames : "  blossom,  "  or  "  bo.  "
birthday : may  14th  ,  1999
gender : cis-gender female
zodiac sign : taurus
hometown : anaheim  ,  california  ,  united  states
current residence : downtown    los    angeles  ,  california  ,  united  states
family : edward  park (  father  /  sanitation  worker  )  ,  park  (  mother  /  middle  school  english  teacher  )  ,  two  older  siblings  +  two  younger  siblings.
sexual orientation : pansexual    /    panromantic.
positive traits : generous     ,     polite     ,     adoring     ,     intuitive     ,     &     golden-hearted.
negative traits : headstrong     ,     deceitful     ,     crass     ,     lackadaisical     ,       &     slow-moving.
                                          ETC. INFO. 💕
born the middle child of five ( two sisters + two brothers, ) bohee’s family was full of talented people. music constantly echoed throughout the park house, while paints and pencils were scattered everywhere. from a young age, bohee knew her siblings were special, but their excellence only emphasized her . . . well, lack thereof.
her eldest sister was a beautiful painter, while her eldest brother had written three plays before the age of nineteen. the younger twins were an incredible violinist and a genius, respectively. bohee had no clue where she fit in; growing up in the park house of wonders was incredibly lonely when you’re the only one who’s not wonderful.
bohee’s jealous nature wouldn’t allow her to sit idly by and watch her siblings get all of the spotlight. she wasn’t going to mope around and wait for her calling to call out to her; she was going to find it.
and it was rough. art was never her forte. she couldn’t carry a tune and it was often hard for her to perfect stick figures. it seemed like she would never find her talent. maybe her parents lied, maybe some people simply aren’t good at anything. bohee was so ready to throw in the towel and accept her inadequate fate.
. . . that was until she stepped foot on the tennis court. finding tennis was simply a fluke. a friend at the time wanted to join the team but couldn’t muster up the courage to go by herself. bohee didn’t really care much, so she offered to tag along but the moment the coach put a racket in her hands, everything clicked into place.
( long story short ) she’s a semi-professional tennis player who tends to stop at the deja brew before ( and, don’t tell her coach or her trainer ) or after practice. the fact that she could probably down a gallon of iced chai isn’t something that she should be proud of, but it’s not her fault the baristas are so dang good at their job.
bohee might look cute on the outside, but if you catch her on the right day, she’s quite the contender. yes, she likes to laugh and joke around, but certain things aren’t laughing matters. for bohee, tennis is one of them.
another thing that’s not a laughing matter is music. unfortunately for her ( and everyone around her ) she never grew out of that thirteen-year-old phase where she thought that liking old music was a personality trait. half of her paychecks go to the local record shop, where everyone knows her by name.
can and often does put the ‘b’ in bitchy. she’s a taurus, so you KNOW she’s stubborn. she’s also prone to tunnel vision, so to anyone who gets in the way of what she wants ( and she’s not picky; it can be anything like a win at a match to a specific cart at the grocery store ) i have this to say: good luck. i’m sorry, but good luck.
bohee is loyal to a fault. she’s quite standoffish at first, but when she decides that someone is up to her ( well, not so ) high standards, she would go to the end of the world and back again for them.
she’s The Worst though because she’ll get into moods ( especially during the off-season ) where all she does is sit in bed and play her old kirby video games all the way through. if anyone tries to come and get her out of the house, they’ll have to face her wrath.
she’s also got a hint of a god complex HAHA. to her? she manages to both be the coolest person ever and the worst . . . all at the same time.
will hype anyone up tho! she’s a one-woman hype group. she’s the friend who comments all the heart and star emojis on someone’s instagram post, and she’s the first one to call you on your birthday uwu
. . . pls love her. sure she’s the world’s smallest dweeb and can be a brat BUT she means well !!!
                                         POSSIBLE PLOTS. 💕
i’ve got a real plots page here!! stuff will be added soon.
uhuhuh PLEASE give her like a tight-knit friend group!!!! they send stale memes, clown each other and sing along to old songs in the car.
someone who gets under her skin TOO much. no matter how hard bohee tries to ignore this person, she really can’t and she is always drawn back to them.
best friend! ride or die best friend! regardless of if they’ve known each other for a few years or their whole lives, they’re each other’s go-to person. breakup? hang out and talk about it. job promotion? hang out and talk about it. any minor inconvenience? hang out and talk about it.
OOOOH maybe your muse wants to take up tennis as a hobby / for giggles and bohee’s their impromptu instructor ( she’s trying to make that $$$$. )
exes? friends? one-night-stands? enemies? people who she smiles to when she sees them at the cafe? yes, yes, yes, please!
if you have read all this . . . thank u so much !!! i should be around on tumblr im for the rest of the night, but if not then my discord is clown college valedictorian #8254 :~)

so awhile back, like probably a good few months ago now, the loml sakra sent me an ask ft. a bunch of urls when i was feeling particularly positive and wanted to spread some love around. ngl, i had to work on this list for a few days, and i even started tweaking it here and there today. n u know what ?? i’m not abt to write this much (especially for my Sun And Stars, Y’all) and let it go to waste. so, continuing forth...
CECE. [ buddy vc ] cece! i know them! i know them !!!!! okay cece, buckle up for a second because i am about to love the HELL out of you. first and foremost, i’d just like to thank you for being my home skillet, and i value your presence both on my dash n in my life, despite how little we interact. which is sad, bc i ? have known you since we both rped michael, and even then i think it was just like ,, quiet + mutual respect. but let me tell u smth. u ? my friend ???? not only do i have respect for you, i have mad respect. which is like. a whole new level and subcategory of respect. when you write a character, you add your own special qualities to them, qualities that, while they may not have any canon grounding (but since when has canon been relevant ??), feel canon. like, when i think of your characters, there’s this part of me that substitutes your version. you are very talented in this regard, and i applaud you, because it can be very difficult to make a character of ones portrayal so...y’know. impressionable to others, i guess??? (idk the exact word i’m sorry ,) but here u are, doing it with practiced ease and blowing me away as per usual. keep up the good work !!!!! i’m so proud of u !!!!!!!!
BREE. i’ve followed you since i was still on grover, and we haven’t talked a whole lot, but irregardless, you have amazed me time and time again. as someone who doesn’t check their dash frequently or anything like that, it’s always. such a joy when i do decide to really check toomblr and see you on it? ooc, ic —— all of it. like! you seem like a hella rad person, and that’s sugarcoating it. you just seem! rly rly cool to be around, and, like, i say this in the best way possible, you’re a total meme and just. kasjdfnl. i love seeing what you have to say about...literally anything and everything, you’re good with Words (tm) both when it comes to actual threads and generally speaking, and. you’re so friendly and, this might sound weird, you just feel like someone that’s trustworthy n ! listen bree i’m sorry i’m probably stumbling over myself, here, but you are Cool; Premium, even, and you’re such. a good person. that’s a rock fact alright,
ELI. hey so uuuuuh did y’all know i love eli-minator lastname because, i do. i vividly remember the first thing you ever said to me being “i’m a rich stan first and a person second” when i told you i thought you did a fantastic job of portraying him and were just generally cool, and i can’t quote you on that, but Trust Me, i remember. i know we don’t talk a whole lot, and our conversations usually happen randomly for . rly short durations of time, but getting the chance to interact with you has been...so good these past few months. the amount of love you feel for all your muses is overwhelming, and it honestly !!! warms my heart to see you get so passionate, and, tbh, just to hear (or read?) you talk in general. you’re so kind and intelligent and, frankly, funny as hell, and i will appreciate you to the ends of the earth —— and you can quote me on that, because i’m being serious, here. i love you, i truly do, and i know that’s gay as hell but i genuinely appreciate your friendship, and it means so much to me. thanks fam. tldr; i’m an eli stan first and a person second.
HILARY. look, the only interaction i’ve had with hilary is that One (1) Cursed Thread, but I LOVE ! like !! heck !!! look at u go hot Dang ! your nico is...just absolutely phenomenal, fam, and i say that with the utmost sincerity. reading your threads when they pop up on the dash is such a treat, and it’s fun to see you interact with all these different characters and see how you adjust nico to different situations !! you are undeniably creative, a fact that i will personally fight to defend if anyone says otherwise, and ur ?!!!!!! so so nice ,, like even in the tags i see nothing but kindness from u tbh ??? this part feels really short bc i , rly don’t know much abt u, and on top of that we haven’t really talked, but. honestly. i hope ur having a good day bc u deserve it, my friend!!
KAT. wow, icb i have the honor of calling The leo v.a.ldez my friend?? wrow....wrow.............in all actuality, i’m so glad to see someone in the rpc (scratch that, in the fandom to begin with) that adores leo as much as you do. you put so much thought into his character and, unlike a lot of people, acknowledge the things he has been through and make him more than the comedic relief a lot of folks reduce him to. but that’s not all. on top of having outstanding characterization, you are funny, bright, and just a sweet (both kickass and kind) person all around! it’s so much fun to discuss hc’s and plot with you, like...honestly, i get so excited to talk about our Sad Kids ™ ??????? all the time ???????? you’re just. so awesome, and i cannot thank u enough fr bringing even more light into my life fam.
SAKRA. i bet you thought i wasn’t gonna put you on here, did you? well, jokes on you, sakra, because i love you, and therefor, you’re getting suplexed on this shit whether you like it or not. i would just like to give you a big warm kudos for all the time and effort you have put into developing laine, zane, and their whole universe. you love them, so much, and it’s so obvious in the way you portray and speak about them. and dede!!!!!!! i would Die for dede !!!!!!!! tbh tho, i would die for you, too, though, so I Mean ,,, but, legit. i truly believe that you’re gonna go places and i can’t wait for the day that your name is up there amongst the big guys :heart_emoji:
this isn’t for anyone in particular, but i just wanna say that every single one of you, even the ones who aren’t on this list, are loved. you might not have faith in yourself, and you might think yourself lesser than other writers on here, but just know that you can only go up in your abilities. it’s okay to go through rough times; it’s okay to have low points. that’s how life is. but you are all so outrageously amazing and inspiring, and god, y’all are so fucking valid. that sounds like a joke, but i’m not kidding! i just ! lov u guys and i want you to know that i’m not the only one who does, okay? u got this. u got this.

I just read your write up about the misogyny in Stranger Things and it's amazing! I wanted to ask, how do you enjoy problematic media? I LOVE Stranger Things but I hate Jonathan, I hate Eleven's vanity and her dismissal of Max. It takes me out of the show. I used to like a lot of media, but lately I'm picking apart everything. Which in a way is good, but almost everything is problematic in some way and it's tiring. I just want to enjoy things, while also understanding the societal implications.
heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey!!! thank you so much for reading and I feel u, anon. I feel u! especially because the tv and film industries are built on toxic af infrastructures of racism, homophobia, sexism - it can feel overwhelmingly hard to find anything to enjoy. I also struggled with this a lot a couple of years back (i mean, the old’ depression monster didn’t help either) BUT I don’t struggle sm now so here are some tips
WEIGH IT UP: face facts, friend. you’re never gonna find a piece of ideologically pure media because a) there must always be conflict in a story and b) human beings have and always will be ideologically flawed. WHAT YOU CAN do is decide how much of the bad in a piece of media outweighs the good and ultimately ask yourself if letting the bad get to you is unfair to the good parts and your own sanity. lord knows i hate jonathan and eleven’s misogynistic vanity, but man oh man do i love the portrayal of friendship between those kids and the wonderfully original sci-fi elements,.. I love so much more about it than i hate.
YOU’RE NOT JUST SUPPORTING THE BAD: for example, the ceo of marvel is a piece of shit and when i learned he donated to trump and is a zionist i stopped seeing marvel movies at the movies for a while but then thor 3 was announced and was being made by taika waititi (independant maori filmmaker) and he made an effort to employ lots of indigenous workers when he was filming here in aus so i went to see it because even tho i don’t wanna support marvel’s ceo, i wanna support the employment of my people in filmmaking more. same with black panther because i want to support the hell out of black superheroes
TAKE THINGS WITH A GRAIN OF SALT: criticism shouldn’t always be seein as a deal-breaker, it just means you’re aware of larger issues. when it comes to media you can always ignore the stuff you’re not a fan of. for example, I love The Nanny is one of my favorite sitcoms, but oh boy is there some really iffy misogynistic plotlines in that show BUT I know not to idealize that and i just roll my eyes and move on. watching a show isn't all or nothing. i mean i hated the last jedi and i won't be purchasing that bluray but i still love star wars as a whole
separate media elements between being problematic and compelling: there’s a big difference between a show, let's say, portraying rape culture, being ignorant of it and promoting it. a show can portray rape culture in order to criticize it without promoting it or validating it (shows like Jessica Jones). then, there are millions of romcoms where things like consent, respect for boundaries, etc. are disregarded in the name of running times (just ignoring it) and then there are films and television shows like game of thrones, etc. that promote really unhealthy uncriticised sex. basically, the fact there’s racism, crime, etc. in a show doesn’t make it problematic. the problematic bit comes in the way the media chooses to handle it. if something isn't handled well see: point one
SUPPORT SHOWS YOU LIKE AS WELL AVOIDING SHOWS YOU HATE: this is my favorite method of balancing my media consumption. shows like game of thrones will get made poorly regardless of criticism because it already has the ratings. boycotting won’t really do much but save yourself from watching it. so try and support a similar show that's less problematic (like into the badlands). i hate gal gadot and zionism in general so i make a big effort to watch and support palestinian films, as well as boycotting what i can.
DON’T WATCH THINGS THAT MAKE YOU FEEL BAD: Ultimately if you really aren’t enjoying something stop watching it. you don’t owe it anything
It's okay to enjoy things that aren't harmful: Call-out culture has cultivated a practice where we do look at a lot of problems in what we consume. This is a good thing because media shouldn't be passively consumed but at the end of the day its meant to be entertaining too and its okay to be entertained by things that aren't totally perfect, especially when we are constantly bombarded with dismal news in this age. sometimes you just need to take charge of your own mental health and say, "yeah okay brooklyn nine nine could easily be considered police propaganda, but its funny, promotes positive thinking, good morality and gosh dang it watching this 20 minute sitcom is gonna make me laugh after a shitty day and thats okay"
If you (like me) love watching films and tv but you also wanna support good work then the easiest thing to do is well, what you can when you can. promote work you think is good, enjoy the things you can enjoy, stop watching the things you can’t. its hard sometimes but its just a matter of gauging what you can handle and what you know to be right and finding a balance.no one expects you to be perfect all the time (i certainly am not), but you can do what you can where you can and thats better than nothing and definately better than driving yourself mad trying to only consume ‘pure’ media
wow this is really long, sorry!! but i hope its helpful!!

@dracoandredemption said: Can u rec anything with drarry raising the kids especially Scorpius as a toddler?
Anonymous said: do you have any drarry fics where Harry and Draco have to raise Teddy, preferably they become the main guardians but they could still share guardianship with andromeda! or any fics where Draco and Harry raise children would do as well. I just want parent Harry and Draco god dang it!
Anonymous said: Hi!!! I love your blog!! And I was wondering if you have any Fics were Draco and Harry raise teddy together?
Anonymous said: hi there!!! you’re blog is my favorite ever so thank you for blessing us with your amazing mess. I was wondering if you had some recs from drarry raising teddy and/or scorpius? I looked through your tags but I could have missed it so I really apologize f that’s the case! Again thank you sm for everything you write & share! xx
Anonymous said: do you know any drarry fics where teddy is Harry’s son? like he adopted him!
OKAY WOW I am so sorry that I’ve been too busy to make rec lists lately! My asks have really piled up, as you can see from the fact that I have SIX WHOLE ASKS of people wanting Drarry raising Teddy and/or Scorpius! Luckily, I have NINETEEN WHOLE FICS for you to read
Drarry Raising Teddy and/or Scorpius Rec List
Teddy:
The Stars Above Us by 606, create_serenity (19.5K)- It started as an innocent day out taking Teddy to visit the local observatory. Somehow it became so much more.Omigosh this fic is AMAZING because I LOVE STARS AND Draco works at a freaking Planetarium!!!! Is that not the best job Draco’s ever had??? And of course Teddy falls madly in admiration with the nice man who explains everything to him and YEAH, THIS IS A MUST READ FOR SURE!
It Was We Who Were the Cliché (But We Carried On Anyway) by ignatiustrout (31K)- When the reconciled Black sisters go on holiday together, Andromeda entrusts Draco, rather than Harry, with five year old Teddy Lupin for three weeks. Harry is convinced she made the wrong choice, and he decides the way to fix this is simply to keep turning up at the manor and refusing to leave Draco alone. You guys will absolutely adore this fic. It’s got a lot of Teddy, but also a lot of DRACO AND HARRY BEING COMPETITIVE!!!! Before they finally realize maybe it doesn’t have to be a competition after all ;)
Against All Odds by momatu (54K)- Beauxbatons is hosting the first ever Quidditch Summer School for children from all over Europe, and Harry has promised to enroll Teddy as his birthday present. Meanwhile, Draco is stuck in his office, putting together the first ever Quidditch Summer School for children from all over Europe during, when he should be enjoying summer holidays.GUYS I love this fic so much. Yes, there’s Teddy and quidditch, but THE ROMANCE IS JUST PERFECT. It’s so sweet!!! And they’re in France! What’s not to love?
The White Dragon by @sassy-cissa (20K)- Even knights in shining armour need white dragons to save them occasionally.Teddy has trouble after he moves in with Harry when Andromeda dies. Draco is his very understanding child psychologist. This fic will give you all the feels and omg it is just so lovely and moving!!
Obliviation by Cheryl Dyson (27K)- When Harry decides to quit Auror Training in order to care for young Teddy over the summer, he has quite enough to worry about without Pansy Parkinson dumping a mute Draco Malfoy on his doorstep. This one is adorable!! For some reason I have a thing for mute!Draco, I have no idea why. Teddy is pretty young in this one if I remember correctly!
Where Your Heart is Set by hazel_wand (13.5K)- Draco comes home from school to find that his mother has decided to rebuild their family to include Andromeda, Teddy … and Harry Potter. This one isn’t exactly Drarry raising Teddy. But it’s absolutely a family fic and the writing is so good and Teddy features a lot! And you didn’t hear it from me, but they may take teddy to the zoo together ;)
A Second Chance at First Love by taradiane (28K)- “… I just wanted you to know that you weren’t the only one who’d had a shitty existence for a time. Maybe I hated that you thought I was someone I wasn’t. Maybe … maybe I hated that I thought you were someone you weren’t, but never realised it until Voldemort gave me those glimpses of your life. Our experiences, they weren’t so different after all.”I have a real thing for Healer!Draco, especially when he’s saving my darling Teddy’s life and reconnecting with his ex-boyfriend Harry Potter ;) Also there’s Christmas!
Scorpius:
The Little Marauders Nursery and Day Care by @digtheshipper (10K)- Harry Potter is the proud owner of The Little Marauders Nursery and Day Care and his favourite student is Scorpius Malfoy. Scorpius’s dad might be okay, too.Okay I have a VERY soft spot for this fic because I used to work at a nursery. And this is just PERFECT and I love every word of it and HARRY AND THE OTHER TEACHERS MAKE UP NICKNAMES FOR THE PARENTS AND DRACO IS ROCK STAR, COME ON!!!!! I died of adorable fluffing cuteness.
Little Talks by @femmequixotic and @noeeon (11.5)- Draco’s been shagging the Head Auror for months now, and he’s sure it’s just a fling. Until Harry asks him to a Quidditch match, that is, and things go horribly wrong. This isn’t exactly a raising Scorpius fic, but the adorableness of the parts with Scorp and the fact that the rest of the fic is REALLY FUCKING HOT (and sweet!) make it totally 100% worth reading (at least twice)!
Un Noël très parisien by @femmequixotic and @noeeon (14.5K)- When Draco crossed paths with Auror Potter at a political function in Paris, he was not expecting their former animosity to change into something rather more intriguing. But he could be certain their casual flirtation would not last more than the night, couldn't he?More adorable Scorpius from Femme and Noe! He doesn’t make his appearance until a bit later in the fic, but once he does the schmoopy cuteness will just make you clutch your heart and wish it were December already
Home Cafe by Eleana_Lee (12.5K)- An Auror mission brought Harry to the cafe where he met the two blondes who shall steal his heart, and make the place his ‘home’YO GUYS you know by now how much I love coffeeshop AUs, right? Well THIS is a coffeeshop fic WITH Scorpius hanging around at the cafe and it is ADORABLE AS FUCK. OKAY??
The Trials of a Malfoy Manchild by Nattish (18.5K)- Draco’s bachelor lifestyle is interrupted when Scorpius is sent to live with him in his London flat. He’s no good at being a dad, but starts to cope with advice from his son’s new schoolteacher – Harry Potter – who is, frankly, not just good with his books.Ooooh!!! This fic! Harry teaches Draco how to be a good Dad and there’s camping! And Harry being a great teacher! and Smut!
Love in Slow Motion by orphan_account (11.5K)- Harry flushed. “I’d like to do that again.”Draco threw his head back and laughed. “Would you, now?”Blinking up, Harry reached up with a shaking hand and brushed a bit of Draco’s blonde fringe away from his forehead. “Yeah. I would. Unless you’ve got someone better to get home to.”“Are you joking? Potter, this is my fifteen year old fantasy come to life. But better. So much fucking better.”Harry’s eyebrows went up. “Fifteen?”“Well, it was more post-Quidditch hate-sex. But close enough.”Another fic in which Harry is Scoprius’s teacher at a muggle school. In this one, Scorpius is a squib and he is THE MOST PRECIOUS BOY WHOM I WANT TO PROTECT WITH MY LIFE. Also featuring Wolfstar!
The Ties that Bind by phoenix_writing (61K)- Upon Andromeda’s death, Harry and Draco are given custody of Teddy. Their lives will never be the same again.Sooo I actually haven’t gotten around to reading this one yet (*sheepish*), but I’ve seen it recced by people I trust, and I suspect I would be remiss to leave it off this list! The summary looks PERFECT.
Teddy and Scorpius:
Muggle Beasts and Where to Find Them by ashindk (8K)- Two single fathers choose the same day to take their children on an outing.AAAH THEY MEET AT A ZOO!!! Harry and Draco are taking their respective kids on a day out at the zoo and they find each other and it’s cute and funny and sweet and FLUFFY and you’ll love it!
The Sun Will Come Out by momatu (36.5K)- Six-year-old Scorpius Malfoy needs a tutor. Several witches and wizards with the best credentials and impeccable background have been hired–then rapidly fired. Enter Harry Potter, who immediately hits it off with Scorpius. It takes a while longer for the Lord of the Manor to come around.Brilliant! I love fics in which one of them bonds with the other’s kid before Harry and Draco can begin to trust each other again (here it’s Harry and Scorpius). Scorpius is an absolutely adorable little boy in this, and teenage Teddy is REALLY SWEET and nice to his cousin and it’s fabulous.
Like a Real Family by Queenie_Mab (11K)- Harry thought he had all he wanted in life, raising Teddy and being the parent he’s always wanted to be, until he experiences what life with a partner could be like. Now if only Draco wasn’t straight. This fic starts out with Harry, Draco, Teddy, and Scorp already being a happy family… except Harry thinks Draco’s straight (Oh, Harry.) For all you flangst lovers out there ;)
Our Ordinary Days by lomonaaeren (9K)- Two men, both fathers of sons, meet in a bookshop, and the rest is the kind of history that doesn’t make history. I love when Harry and Draco’s kids meet and hit it off and Drarry have no choice but to hang out all the time and then KISS. Also when Harry helps Draco win custody battles ;D
“Merlin, FINE. You Can Be Harry Potter for Halloween” by 606 (2.5K)- That one where Draco and Scorpius run into Harry Potter (rather literally) in a London convenience store and their Halloween takes an odd turn.HALLOWEEN FLUFF

12 Instagram Accounts You Must Follow
Here’s the deal: If you’re like me, you are mere hours from a much-needed week of freedom. Right now, all you want is too much food, too much wine, and far too many naps (if there is such a thing). With that in mind, I wrote a list of sheer entertainment, just for you. Please enjoy this early vacation for your brain.
As content marketing people, we know the importance of staying up with the times, especially in terms of technology, topics, and trends. As we roll into the new year, I’m sure you’re going to see about 100 lists of tools you should use, technology you should invest in, and trends you should watch.
That said, here is the most important list to drop in the world of content marketing: 12 ridiculously entertaining Instagram accounts you should follow to stay current, fam.
As marketers struggle to create relatable and engaging content, the ability to see through the lens of their audiences has never been more important. Thankfully, as Americans become more active online, we can learn a lot about audience preference through the relatable and inspiring posts of these top Instagram accounts.
Without further ado, in honor of the 12 days of Christmas, I give you 12 Instagram accounts that you must follow as we roll into 2018—partridge in a pear tree not included.
Marketers can learn a lot about audience preference from the world's top Instagram accounts. Click To Tweet 1. Follow @tank.sinatra for “Dank Memes”
You will laugh; you will cry. You will likely share a couple memes with your friends.
A post shared by Tank.Sinatra (@tank.sinatra) on Nov 21, 2017 at 6:01am PST
Tank’s meme’s are famously relatable because of how honest they are. Time and time again, he hits the nail on the head with many current issues. Additionally, in his rise to fame, he has started sharing memes created by other accounts, always careful to give credit where credit is due. In doing so, he has positioned himself as a leader in the world of respectful meme sharing.
Guaranteed (don’t follow me if you don’t get 80’s references)
A post shared by Tank.Sinatra (@tank.sinatra) on Nov 19, 2017 at 8:05am PST
Finally, Tank wins my gold star of approval for starting @tanksgoodnews this year, an account dedicated to positive stories—the type of content too often in short supply.

I’m not crying, you’re crying!
2. Follow @buzzfeedtasty to Activate Your Salivary Glands
With each video racking in over a million views, the power of this cooking account is nothing to underestimate.

A post shared by Tasty (@buzzfeedtasty) on Dec 14, 2017 at 1:30pm PST
Gone are the days of Paula Dean, Giada, and all those fancy and famous chefs who forced us to tune in for a 30-minute segment in order to better our cooking skills. In about a minute, Tasty will deliver tantalizing tutorials.
While I highly recommend watching at least 10 videos a visit, each video is satisfying enough to inspire at least an ounce of self-confidence. Today, you learned! How extremely productive of you. You won’t feel a teaspoon of guilt when you pass up grocery lines for Taco Bell, yet again. You might, however, feel a little FOMO.

3. Follow @pumpkintheraccoon to Feel Something (Anything) Again
Sometimes all you need in life is the love of an uncommon furry companion. At least that’s what over a million fans think of the rescued Bahamian raccoon named Pumpkin.
#flashbackfriday to when Pumps was oh so proud of her nails!
A post shared by Pumpkin The Raccoon (@pumpkintheraccoon) on Dec 8, 2017 at 11:35am PST
Yes, cute animal accounts are nothing new, but accounts of rescued wild animals such as @pumpkintheraccoon and @juniperfoxx have a special, hipster flair.
While @iamlilbub and @realgrumpycat are still where it’s at, @pumpkintheraccon and @juniperfoxx are worth a follow. Take one look at their faces and tell me you’re not regretting every time you coveted a fox fur coat or cursed your neighborhood trash pandas.
A post shared by J U N I P E R & F I G (@juniperfoxx) on Apr 27, 2017 at 11:19am PDT
3. Follow @cosmopolitan to Regret Following @cosmopolitan
Why follow the Kardashians when you could follow an account that feeds you all important Kardashian news plus that of Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, and Beyoncé? Cosmopolitan will provide excellent Instagram Stories to keep you informed on all the celebrity gossip.
Yeah, I’m cringing a little, too. But, no matter what, you have to give Cosmo credit for engaging young women over many generations. And, of late, Cosmo has become a leading voice for young female empowerment. Hurrah to that!
BOOM.
A post shared by Cosmopolitan (@cosmopolitan) on Dec 14, 2017 at 6:01am PST
5. Follow @nytimes to Feel Worldly (and to Avoid the Subscription Fees)
If you are currently a New York Times subscriber, you probably don’t read as many of their articles as you wish you did. If so, your subscription inspires more guilt than anything else. Their Instagram account, however, will just leave you inspired.
A post shared by The New York Times (@nytimes) on Dec 13, 2017 at 5:38am PST
Celebrity and/or US news is still @nytimes’s most engaging post topic, but the abundance of world news and slice of foreign life images are powerful beyond words.
6. Follow @photoshop to Dream Again
If a picture is worth a thousand words, these pictures are worth one million. Inexplicably gorgeous, these photos depict waking dreams, as noted by their current #ps_dreams campaign.

7. Follow @simonegiertz to Wonder Why You Never Thought of That
Originally a YouTube star, Simone Giertz is a darling in the world of DIY tech. Famous for her “sh*tty robots,” one could (and should) say that this self-taught inventor started a movement.
I might have just bought one of the world’s most ridiculous cars. I call her Cheese Louise, because she looks like a cheese wedge (and runs about as well as one too). I’M OBSESSED! Just posted a video about it, link in bio
A post shared by Simone Giertz (@simonegiertz) on Nov 24, 2017 at 10:44am PST
Since appearing on primetime television shows like Mythbusters and The Colbert Show, Giertz has picked up considerable fame. Follow her to embrace your inner nerd, empathizing as she openly begs NASA to make her an astronaut, all the while laughing at her own expense.
So honored and humbled. Can’t believe LEGO decided to put me in their latest Women of NASA kit. That’s me on the left, next to the toilet!

9. Follow @betches for Hilarious #GRLPWR

A post shared by BETCHES (@betches) on Nov 29, 2017 at 10:07am PST
The posts in @betches are the kinds of posts you’ll want to send to all your friends and co-workers alike. Although, in my experience, aren’t “friends” and “co-workers” the same thing?
A post shared by BETCHES (@betches) on Dec 18, 2017 at 8:30am PST
As noted above, I’m especially fond of their posts that focus on the hilarious themes of laziness, boredom, and defeat.
10. Follow @9gag to Hang Out with the Internet’s Army of Teenage Nerds
Enter a world where cynicism rules (as long as puppies aren’t involved), to the tune of one million likes. Inexplicably, posts from @9gag reach the engagement and popularity seen only in international celebrity accounts.
A post shared by 9GAG: Go Fun The World (@9gag) on Dec 14, 2017 at 9:13am PST
The audience, however, is as young as you’d assume. Posts about studying, parents, and unrequited love are especially popular in their audience that runs 43 million deep.

11. Follow @barstoolsports to Fear for Society
You will dislike yourself and the whole world with this one, but influence is influence. Prepare yourself for many puke, fart, or beer jokes with this account. Some gems, such as the video below, do exist.
A post shared by Barstool Sports (@barstoolsports) on Dec 18, 2017 at 3:13pm PST
Pursuing @barstoolsports beyond the example provided is not recommended—because standards.
12. Follow @myhotelcarpet to Renew Your Faith in Society
After Barstool Sports, we all need a little something to cleanse the palate and the soul. This account was created by a man with a passion for carpets. When the following tweet from his daughter went viral, magic happened.
All I Want For Christmas is for my Dad’s hotel carpet instagram to go viral, please help this happen http://pic.twitter.com/pqCWDglFf9
— Jill (@jillisyoung) November 25, 2017

Finally, Tank wins my gold star of approval for starting @tanksgoodnews this year, an account dedicated to positive stories—the type of content too often in short supply.

2. Follow @buzzfeedtasty to Activate Your Salivary Glands

BOOM.

A post shared by Barstool Sports (@barstoolsports) on Dec 18, 2017 at 3:13pm PST
Pursuing @barstoolsports beyond the example provided is not recommended—because standards.
12. Follow @myhotelcarpet to Renew Your Faith in Society

While @iamlilbub and @realgrumpycat are still where it’s at, @pumpkintheraccon and @juniperfoxx are worth a follow. Take one look at their faces and tell me you’re not regretting every time you coveted a fox fur coat or cursed your neighborhood trash pandas.

BOOM.
