@darkqueenhelba To be honest, I'm only really very familiar with I think the OG Astro boy and Urasawa's Pluto and I don't remember it exactly. Google is telling me that it was a toy car given by tenma that Tobio then brings out to real traffic? I wonder if the detail of Toby "causing" the accident was seen as problematic to present to younger western audiences [or they didn't want a relatively real-world situation]. That's very interesting!

Although, in Bowers' Astro Boy, Toby does sneak out when he's not supposed to, which ends up in him getting trapped in the room with the peacekeeper. The "Peacekeeper" that destroys him then comes back to play a larger role later, so I guess there's also that narrative reason for it.

About the kickstarter: In the higher tiers are the ink sketch/watercolor copies of an original or an actual drawing on that piece of paper? I love your artwork but I have been burned before. (This all sounds so negative but I grew up around artists and historians. Also ended up with a fancy printed photo of a painting I bought from a local artist.)

they’re 100% original real life free-range sketches, direct from me to you! they vary in size, especially the inks, but the watercolours are all approximately A4 sized

not sure of his exact age but he’s definitely not in his 20s! i think he’s either dafne’s age (14) to 16 yo at the latest!

I am sorry someone did this to you. But right now really is the time of unexpected costs coming up. For the future how about taking a Deposit first and then getting the rest at the end of a job. A lot of jobs that take time do this.

Yeah, that’s gonna be my approach for any new costumers, but also to all of this let me add how it happened:

Guy sent me a link and asked how much, I was quite busy so the appraisal was rushed and I said $35 (which is like, the minimum most of the time), he said “yes, that’s good”, and so I got to work, finishing the script I noticed it was actually a lot more (total would have ended up like $60~ because it was a lot more text than I thought) and he came up saying “oh but I’m a student, I can’t cost that :(” so I accepted my mistake, and told him I would charge what we had originally agreed, and he just agreed, finish the script, send him the invoice and start editing, 1, 2... 4 days later and still haven’t been paid, so I sent him an email asking if everything was okay, if he just forgot/didn’t see/didn’t receive/etc the invoice, and he just tells me that he can’t afford that much even though it was the original $35 price we had agreed at first, and on that same email was like “but if you already worked on it you can send it to me :)” so yeah, that upset me a lot

I actually have so many ideas for a roleswap Ryuko/Senketsu AU. Like... for the episode 5 situation, when Tsumugu would be out to kill Ryuko in this AU, what if Ryuko’s like, “He’s trying to kill a Kamui, but would he try to kill a human girl?” And so she begs Senketsu to take her to school with him in her human form, but Tsumugu can see right through her and still attacks her anyway? And so, much like Duck in Princess Tutu, Ryuko grapples with the idea that she may be able to look human, but her “true self” is still clothing, and Tsumugu will always see her as a “Life Fiber monster” no matter what? Which are actually the exact words Tsumugu uses when he faces against Nui in the Kill la Kill game?

Or, on a lighter note, the AU could have a more magical bent, and Ryuko could shift into clothing again when she “acts like clothing,” like how Duck shifts back into a duck when she acts like a duck. I’m not entirely sure how that would work, but I would get a kick out of hijinks like that, lol. (Maybe if she gets too excited about irons or something.)

I have so many things to write that I don’t think I’ll ever get around to doing something with this AU, sadly, but I think there’s a lot of potential! I encourage anyone to write it for me, haha!

As someone who somehow played Chain of Memories 8 times... Don’t do it! I’m all for Platinums! But this games, and series, is not made to get them without 300 plus hours in it. It’s no longer fun and in the end just makes you hate it.

Oh Wise Master of FGO, what should I do?Before the guaranteed SSR Servant leaves which category should I summon from? I have enough for 2 summons. My current 5* are Saber-Arthuria, Lancer-Karna, Caster-Tamamo, Caster-Waver, Berserker-Vlad, and Avenger-Jeanne. I also have a Np.3 Rider-Martha. Which would be the Class best to summon? I have horrible draws most of the time and haven’t gotten any servant over 3* in months.

……… Again, I’m not sure if I’m the best one to ask for because I YOLOed my rolls + gameplay but… Just take it with a pinch of salt… OTL

For the GSSR, you can choose only ONE among the Seven Class banner

So it boils down to what do you really want the most or actually NEED the most in your current gameplay

Saber: I only know about her being relatively not that good as many said currently until next year’s strengthening quest? But that’s just me because I don’t have her… So if you prefer better Saber like Mordred or Altera, you can go for Saber?

Archer: I’ve been hearing it’s not that worth it especially the given “better” SSR is Telsa and Orion is debatable if you already have Euryale raised high level. The latter is more preferred than the SSR usually in male boss fight

Lancer: Karna by far is the best AOE Lancer in story mode given wise. Unless you do wish for ST NP Lancer like Enkidu, you can try rolling but as you said, RNG is a bitch to everyone

Caster: I think personally if you already have these two… You can skip this banner unless you wished to NP2 them? Xuangzang herself ain’t that bad actually for a ST NP DPS Caster if you do get her

Rider: Martha by far is considered the better “budget” version of Amakusa since she removes party debuff and single target enemy buffs. Getting her NP4 isn’t that bad, though you’ll need to pray your SR ticket to get her at NP5 OTL But seeing your rider, I think you can try to get either Ozymandias or Quetz? I have both in NA and JP respectively and both are really good ST NP riders given with their own skillsets and similar NP effect to NP seal debuff on their enemy

Assassin + Extra: ………….. This is really debatable because later at 8pm in NA timing there’s King Hassan banner coming. And yes, he’s by far the most recommended Assassin to get and hardest too because he’s limited. And, he only have TWO banner of his rate up. But if you prefer more of generating of stars, you can try to get Jack. I have her in JP and with Yan Qing or stand alone, she generates good amount of stars + spam NP when needed.

Of course, in that banner there’s Jeanne which still so far recommended especially when her second interlude kicks in removing her stun and upgrading her NP later to remove party debuffs too

Berserker: I think Vlad is okay? But if you do want better Berserker… The one harder to get but by far the best is Cu Alter himself. His evasion and guts helps a lot in Berserker main weakness of surviving. Otherwise, there’s Nightingale, a healer but you’ll need good team to keep her alive most of the time OTL But, she has a strengthening next year that gives one of your Servants debuff immunity + insta-death immunity. The latter being more viable given in Lostbelt everyone decided to throw out insta-death skills & NP on your team

Overall, it’s really depend on what you want or need the most. If you’re going for waifu/husbando, then follow your heart by all means! Otherwise just take it with a pinch of salt and ask around ^^; Just need to remember RNG is really a bitch so far in everyone’s daily gacha life in FGO OTL
