For Darksiderstober 2022 Day 29 "Forgiven" After everything that transpired between them, and witnessing the consequence of their actions....both feel a great deal of Guilt. While Azrael has been trapped in a tower with a century to wallow in regret, Ulthane took strides in trying to make amends. Ulthane despite his feelings about causing the apocalypse, knew there was something wrong with the balance, and he was not the maker to turn away a friend in need. I'd imagine after all this, Azrael's only wish is that before he faces the judgement, that Ulthane might be able to forgive him. Hope ya like, prompts are here , and stay tuned!

Been getting real deep into the Darksiders fandom and have found my new favorite character, Ulthane. This is my first rough sketch of him and I had to do a lot of photo referencing to find the proper way to draw him. Thank you @imagine-darksiders for inspiring me to draw the best dad of the apocalypse!

Holy shit. It’s done.

It took over 2 weeks to finally get this sucker drawn out and finished, but it’s finally done!

I hope you like my take on the museum scene, considering it’s one of my favorite parts, gore and all. Sadly I didn’t draw that in bc then Tumblr would be a butt about it, so no blood I’m afraid.

I’m also certain you had some fics made where the Maker’s eyes glow?? So I incorporated that in, as well as the symbol on Ulthane’s hammer having a sort of glow of some sort...

 Anywho, here’s your long awaited gift Ellie! I hope you enjoy! Keep being amazing and stay classy!

#3: Fury has been stuck in this Creator-forsaken world for what feels like an eternity. She would do almost anything to cure her boredom. What's she been up to pre DS3? Any medium (art, fanfic etc.) is appreciated.

#4: Absalom is planning his attack on Eden. It's the stroke that breaks the camel's back for four of the nephilim. They finally decide to take action. Fanfic preferred, but fanart is always appreciated, too.

#5: Strife is a sucker for shiny things and has gathered a collection of "trophies" from his various missions. One day, he catches an unexpected guest rummaging through his treasures. Any medium (art, fanfic etc.) is appreciated.

#6: The horsemen reunite on Earth after the Seventh Seal is broken. For real this time. Any medium (art, fanfic etc.) is appreciated.

#7: Crackpot prompt: in the years after the apocalypse, a group of angelic painters learn about the pre-apocalyptic human controversy around Anish Kapoor and the race to find the blackest black. What ensues is a struggle to find the whitest white ever produced in Heaven.

#8: Prompt potluck: Strife adopts the Houndmasters dogs. The other three are not amused.

#9: Exchanging gifts on a day they call "Christmas Eve": a fascinating human tradition Strife observed. He attempts to convince his siblings of adopting this tradition. What would the horsemen gift each other or how could a Christmas celebration with them look like? Any medium (art, fanfic etc.) is appreciated.

Day 9 #A character you think deserves more love

Ooh, boi. There are a lot of candidates. Azrael, Karn, Ezgati, Berraris, Strife, Ulthane... the list can go on but I decided it should be her. I don't see Dis very often in fanart or fics, even though she's arguably one of the nicest people in Darksiders, and she's a demon.

Also, look at her. Isn't she fabulous?

Not truly sure if you enjoy fanart of your stories, but what the hell, imma do it anyway. It’s slightly different from the museum scene with the kids in Haven  (which by the way y’all should DEFINITELY read it’s gorgeous. I set a link to it.) but I did try my best.

It’s still getting fleshed out, and I’ve gotta outline, color, and do a quick background, but here’s the work so far!

I hope you don’t mind me taking some inspiration from your own design for Ulthane, bc honestly, the Maker is fine af in your style. I love this giant of a Tired Dad™️ with the massive hammer. 

Anywho, hope you enjoy, and I’ll be getting it done sometime soon!
