Danny has been living with the bat fam for a couple of months. Danny first meet them when he was living on the street, Danny had been mistaken for a Wayne so many times that he could rival the actual Wayne family in how many times he has been kidnapped.
The bat family has all become attached to this feral child which has caused many of the rogues to cry and scream. When he what missing they all begin to panic, and search for him that's when they found out Danny had run away from his very creepy godfather, they all suit up and went to save him.
The bat's learned that Danny is called a halfa a being that is half dead and half living that stands on the line of dead and alive, so after getting him from his very Creepy godfather who is also a half they thought that they would not have to worry about any more surprises that were until Danny came down holding an infant that was a couple of hours old

#thinkin too much about gortie side characters again.#sally this time and why she specifically talks about him the way she does#like dravo is obviously still shitty but to me he was. ‘just ‘neglectful#while sally actively hated and even felt terrorised by her own child#like. it’s not like i don’t understand her at all.#imagine you and your love don’t have much besides each other and your shop and you get pregnant and ready to raise a child#only for it to not be a child he didn’t and doesn’t cry ever and he learns everything so much sooner than most but then he never calls you#his parents and it’s not just a petty thing kids do sometimes you feel that he doesn’t see you as family and the worst part is that you#agree deep down#and as he gets older he doesn’t have any friends and actively rejects the notion of the entire concept#but then as time passes you hear about how he has entire groups of children following him and then several of them commit suicide#and that thing coming to sit with you and dravo at the dinner table says that he did what you did last week when the axe to chop wood broke#and you discarded it and got a new one#and he has these habits of ripping out flowers and making sure that they don’t regrow#and then you hear rumours about a friend’s daughter’s cat disappearing and think nothing of it#until you visit his tree house a month later and find a declawed cat and birds with clipped wings and crushed bugs that he keeps fondly#and then you see him with other children and they don’t know and his face is different and body language is entirely different#and were it not for the fact that you know better you would never see anything but a normal child#and you know that you are one who painstakingly brought this thing that should not be into the world and so you decide to end it all one da#and go to him as he’s asleep with the knife shaking in your hand#but he cries when you’re above him! screams at the top of his lungs!#so you beg for forgiveness even though you don’t deserve it through tears but as soon as the knife is put away you see the act drop and fee#his clever fingers having twisted your brain inside and out and you know that you can do nothing#and so the opportunity arises to at least remove him out of your life if not everyone’s lives and you take it immediately.#but you heard him talk. how he will close his fist around the world one day. and you know that it is not a matter of if but when.#like. imagine that. jesus dude.#like i hc her as someone that is messy and does not know a lot about life and she certainly wouldn’t have been a good mother but the love#or at least desire to love is there somewhere. and believing that having a child is really the only somewhat meaningful thing she can do#with her life. she’s not some hero or rich or anything of note. so there’s a lot obligation and not genuine desire for family here.#but she never really got the chance to be an actual mother in the first place so. who knows what that might have looked like

#she has 20 lines at most but i love her#i'd really like for an 5 to have more yuka content... especially since ken is training vbs#ken is working them rough which for people surrounding vivid street (or at least vbs) would seem tough but understandable#but yuka is an outsider. yuka is a caring mother who still supports her daughter and her friends despite not growing up in vivid street#yuka would possibly consider this too much for the moment and try to get them to relax#and. i really want the current vbs arc to end with them relaxing a little#i don't think they'll go straight from “we're surpassing rad weekend and carrying nagi's wish”#to “we're tying ourselves down to this one event when we could go even further”#but they could definitely recognise “we're still kids we have time”#and yuka could be the one to bring that up. radder were all adults when rad weekend happened. vbs are in their second year of high school#and they're talented. so incredibly talented. kohane showed that at crawl green. akito finally realises his growth in his 4th event#toya has just came to terms with his classical music background and draws from it to write songs for the group#and an has had years of experience singing. except she also holds herself back in her want to be line nagi#which i'm almost certain will be addressed in her 5th event. and with yuka being the one who comforted an during lutf (in her card)#well. i think it would be nice for her to come back#especially as she is - again - an outsider to vivid street. she could represent how vbs can go beyond vivid street#another possibility is kohane's father. he sort of just disappeared after sdsc (at least i recall akito and an mentioning meeting him?)#and considering the impact he has on kohane (photography and his doubts regarding her sudden change in early game)#it could be nice seeing him again since with kohane/akito/toya seemingly reaching the end of a current arc in the last year#(ie the kohane and taiga plot/akito no longer feeling like he's behind the others/toya and classical music)#the next step in the group's story could be happening#half of this has nothing to do with yuka fjrjdiejd. i just like the concept of her being the group's link to going outside of vivid street#or going beyond is suppose. beyond the way...#bagel's rambles#i'm on break. watch me draw yuka design

the quest for claudia's birthday takes me to strange and unknown places
#sriracha.txt#the original way i understood the timeline allowed for a much Slower building of events#there were originally 5 years after claudia's death + 7 years of agu living in hiding after cesare's death#but if she dies at 12 that means a whole 12 years has passed. so she'd be 24 in the modern day.. roughly wyll's age#it simply couldn't work.. wyll is Older. he's like the super cool cousin she orbited around at social gatherings until he disappeared#and then. well </3#i don't know if the satie-gortie-augie hellabonanza trip will stick but i think the accelerated timeline Will#because now it's 3 years between claudia's death and the start of the game. which imo makes more sense.. the grief and longing agu would#feel for his departed daughter would be MUCH stronger in that time frame + thus make him easier to manipulate via the dream guardian#i never thought about it being a 12 year gap before but now that i do.. idk i think he would simply live w the grief and be immediately#suspicious of the emperor instead ykwim#this is fun as well bc WHAT effect does this have on the agu-ketheric beef... before it was him being pissed that ketheric wrought so much#suffering because he lost isobel. but now??#unsure. thinking about tk in his grade 3 classroom close enough to have a view of the towers, watching them come down, knowing his dad is in there. Thinking about TK refusing to just sit there, he has to go find his dad!, thinking about gwyn arriving by car or bus or train at 7.38pm that night because the planes were grounded and she was interstate and she fought and pled and begged for the last seat ("My son is alone still at his school with his teacher in New York. My husband is a fire captain,") and she arrives and it is pitch black because the entire city is pitch black and TK is trying to escape (to go Look for him!!!) Or he is getting into Fights or he is completely numb (he's 7, 8 years old) and his mum says Tyler! and he. completely breaks down.
tk remembers the day vividly. grew up With that experience not just Close to it. thinking about that

I haven’t read enough comics w the established father daughter dynamic to know if this is true but it’s important to me in my soul any iteration of Peter Parker with his daughter she has to be much much cooler than him. I so badly need nerdy loser shoved in lockers Peter to be the father of a top clique popular girl. Like not even mean girl I just need her to be so popular and infinitely cooler than Peter himself I need it so bad
#and then bonus points her cool girl allure of mysteriously disappearing all the time (to do spider-girl deeds)#I RLY need to read established comics but like in my mind rn. it is soooo important to me too they work together as father and daughter BUT#since in this mind palace of mind Peter’s daughter would have mutant powers since birth vs Peter inheriting them#I think a true spider-child that grows up with powers would have such a different relationship to themselves#and their powers AND their morals. tbh. #oc talk#chase i know for sure was planned. now for the others.........#cas def wasnt planned. in fact his parents probably debated whether to keep him or not. they decided to do so; with awful results#also probably a result of a teen pregnancy. poor guy.#maverick was planned; although his parents were really young. as in; 20-22. his parents dated since high school and got married young#so. got married early; got the kid early. this however led to some poor parenting choices even if they didnt meant to; but nothing too big.#zachary wasn't exactly planned? his parents wanted to have a kid; he just appeared sooner than they thought lol. same with apollo and blade#except they were like. just ~imagining~ about having a kid and then boom you get two. funny for such strict parents.#harper's mom is a single mom and she wasn't planned. his dad was an unstable thing his mom had#and he disappeared as soon as he learned about the pregnancy. her mom kept her though. she was in her 30s when she got pregnant#alex is the result of another teen pregnancy. his mom got obsessed with a guy and the last resort she saw to 'chain' him#was getting pregnant. and since his parents were extremely conservative they forced him to marry her. it wasnt good.#reason hes so embarrassed about sex; he was taught abstinence only and not given really good sex ed. another poor guy.#ironically though i think charlotte wasnt planned but raven was; they wanted to give their daughter a lil sibling. horrible choice.#and idk i have to continue with kant send post
