Dave the Diver - Cobra

“Por favor, amor… (his voice drops a little, sincere, but still with that classic smirk) life’s a lot less colorful without you.”

You sit across from him at a small table in the cozy restaurant. His iconic glasses rest on the table next to him, catching the warm orange glow of the late afternoon sun filtering through the windows. The light makes Cobra’s blue T-shirt seem richer, almost electric. His usually confident demeanor is softened by a nervous edge, his fingers fidgeting slightly with the edge of the tablecloth.

“No more lies, Cobra. No more hiding things from me.”

Your voice is steady, firm. You lean in slightly, eyes locked on his, searching for any hint of deception. The memory of finding that ring in the cabinet is still fresh, the weight of his past secrecy pressing down on the moment.

(He reaches out, his hand hovering above yours before gently clasping it. His touch is warm, and you feel the slight tremor in his hand.) “I promise, love. I won’t fuck up…”

“You promised me before, and then I found the ring. How do I know you’re telling the truth this time?”

(He leans forward, his expression softening, the smirk fading into something more serious.) “I was wrong, and I hurt you. I get that. I should’ve told you about her, about everything. But I didn’t want to lose you.”

“You didn’t just hurt me, Cobra. You broke my trust. That’s not something you can just fix with a promise.”

(He sighs, running a hand through his hair, visibly frustrated with himself.) “I know it’s not that simple. But I want to try. I want to earn your trust back, even if it takes the rest of my life.”

The sincerity in his voice is undeniable, but you wonder if you can trust it this time. The light plays on his face, illuminating his features and casting soft shadows, making him look almost ethereal. He’s trying, you can see that. But is it enough?

(Your gaze softens slightly, but you remain firm.) “Then show me, Cobra. Show me that you mean it. No more secrets, no more half-truths. There's still a part of me that really wants this.”

“I will. I swear, no more secrets. Just us, moving forward, together.”

He nods, a hint of that smirk returning, but this time softer, less cocky.
