Do you prefer the idea that the Fanatic is too much of a coward to actual enter the Courtyard, or that he can't ever get his hands on an invite because he burns every bloodsucker he finds and thus can't get in

Definitely the first. The second implies he's too much of an idiot to figure out how the Court operates. The Gatekeeper presents you with the invitation when it attacks, so he had to know such a thing existed if he ever faced one.

Besides, hounding and ambushing victims of the Curse while being too much of a coward to seek out the source of evil is perfectly in line with the kind of antagonist he is. He keeps two vials of the cure for himself only, he attacks the heroes outside of their homeground when they are likely exhausted from an expedition, he was mauled by a bloodsucker and therefore must have some degree of fear of what they can do. He's a wimpy little shit that fights you at 3/4 strength and no I'm not bitter ok yes I am.

I know we all joke that King Dice is gay for his boss. But honestly isn’t it kind of cannon at this point. I mean he said that his one missing piece was the devil’s approval. DD said that they couldn’t justify dice being anything but depressed after losing his show and disappointing the devil. DD also said that King Dice is eager to please the devil. Not just willing but also eager to do anything for his boss to make him happy. He is jealous of henchman for his relationship with the devil. He is surprisingly loyal to the devil even after getting his fame back he still tried to get him cuphead’s soul. To top is all off dd said if he found out about the bubbles of failure and he didn’t get one he’d be a rainbow of emotions. I mean there’s no denying at least that King Dice has some infatuation with his boss.

had the distinct privilege to see Bryce Pinkham (Stolas' voice actor and Tony nominee from A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder) as the dentist in Little Shop of Horrors in NYC this past weekend, and had to draw something very silly after his unique brand of Bloody Curtain Pageantry. pls enjoy this incredibly niche joke
