I saw your DD graph asking for other ideas, so... if you still have any desire to do further Dracula graphs I'd be curious to see how the word count per character breaks down (not how much they speak but how much they write. Adding all their diary entries together, etc.). Obviously Mina wins by default from having typed up the whole novel but outside of that detail, how much did each person author?

So first off, if you just want to visualize the author breakdown, ta-dahhhh!

Seward was staunchly in the lead, talking his head off and burning through those wax recording drums like no ones business. Poor Mina for having to transcribe it all. In total his words made up 39.3% of Dracula. Nearly 40%!

Seward unsurprisingly had the most individual entries overall at 47, and had the longest streak for being the narrator in an entry at 10 days (09/02 - 09/11) with Mina following right behind at 9 days (08/10 - 08/19)

Mina surprisingly was 3rd overall both in word count and number of entries. She wasn't even in the top 3 for most words in a day which is as follows.

1 - Seward October 3rd - 9942 words

2 - Seward September 29th - 7206 words

3 - Jonathan October 3rd - 5944 words

Van Helsing only had 9 entries total but still came in number 4 for word count, in front of Lucy. It's interesting to note that the amount a person writes doesn't correlate to the amount of time they are being written about/appear. Which is why Arthur and Quincey don't even beat out the newspaper clippings for words, lol.

There are lots of authors we only hear from a single time, like Sister Agatha. So I've decided to make a small fry pie as well. (Authors under ~500 words)

The captain of the Demeter and Van Helsing both had more days written than Lucy! Though I didn't break up number of entries, like when the log of the Demeter had 3 or 4 on one day or Lucy wrote a letter and in her diary.

I'm back to this "space-time loop" with birthdays again. When I see a huge number of coincidences and strange things, chaos appears in my head, so there is a desire to put it all in order.

All this is fake, CPN and my speculation.

So, on October 5th the magic circle with birthdays and DD's journey closed. New circumstances have emerged, and this makes this magic cycle even more interesting.

The Discovery episode about the desert was filmed in Inner Mongolia, this place is called 阿拉善 (Alxa League), a few hours drive from Lanzhou, where DD arrived, and it turns out that this is the same place where GG filmed his vlog on August 5, 2021, which was released on his birthday on October 5, 2021!

Of course, this is pure coincidence, perhaps this place is very suitable for filming picturesque desert landscapes, so different film crews at different times choose the same place. But it very luckily fell into this magic loop.

This year DD posted the photo of the desert with the caption "27" on August 5th, the desert episode came out on October 5th, and DD posted the photo of the desert on October 5th within 1 minute of XZS's post, and he put 3 emojis 3 times each — "33".

The turtles conducted an experiment on their phones, I don't really understand what this function is and how it works, but it is with this combination of emoticons with the tag #探索新境 that the number 33 appears. But the strangest thing is that if you enter this combination without the tag, you get 27! What kind of magic is this that connected the numbers of their ages?

If we continue playing with the number 33, it is literally everywhere: DD posted a total of 33 photos on his personal account during the series' release until October 5, on October 5 DD posted 6 more photos, and 6 is, as we know, 3+3. And also the connection between their ages: 27 is 3 cubed, that is, 27=33. I feel like my brain is refusing to process this information anymore!

In GG's night photos we can see deserted night streets of Beijing, but at the same time, on these streets, next to GG, motorcycles (or battery-powered cars that look like motorcycles) appear. What’s even more interesting is that in one of the photos, GG is standing next to a motorcycle, on the trunk of which, quite by chance, “Adventure” is written and a snowy mountain is depicted. This motorcycle is on the edge of the photo, it could easily be cropped. Why is it there?

At 11:59 PM, the last minute of October 5th, GG posted the video with he singing "Thank you for wishing me goodnight," this is the exact wish that DD had been saying in every part of his journey before going to sleep. And there is one more nuance: in the video, GG says the words “thank you” exactly at the 18th second, and the words “good night” at the 23rd. On this mysterious note, October 5th ended.

And this is just part of what happened on October 5th. Everyone has probably already heard about the same clothes, the portrait on the wall, DD's sudden love for bicycles…

And one more touching moment: by chance or not, but the last photo of the six DD's photos and of all the photos that DD posted during the Discovery show is a sunrise in the desert. It is so symbolic and so good, it looks like a good wish, like a good omen - the darkness will dissipate, and the dawn will surely come. May everything be well with them. 💚❤️.

Reading BlueCatWriter's Dracula along with Dracula Daily

Ok so I've been meaning to read all of @bluecatwriter 's wonderful Dracula hc fics in order for a long time but I never have time to get with it so I decided to read it along with Dracula Daily this year.

before I get into anything, here are my timelines in this AU:

2 years between moto and season 11, atleast 5 months between s11 and s12, 5 more months between s12 and s13, 4 months between s13 and the island, a month between the island and s15, canonically a year between s15 and crystallized, 2 years between crystallized and the merge, 5 years between the merge and the events of DR

and jenna and ethan's ages during these times:

jenna: a year old during s11, almost two years old during s13, turned three a while after nya left, four during crystallized, six when the merge happened, and 11 in current time

ethan: a year old when the merge happened, and 6 in current time

I..know it's probably confusing, but I can attempt to explain more if you don't understand!

my fic for these two is currently being rewritten!!

and now, time to ramble abt the kids!! (warning, VERY long)

their full names are: Jenna Edna Lilly Walker and Ethan Ed Raymond Walker (you can guess who was named after who)

jenna was born just a year after moto, and ethan was born also a year after crystallized!

and from that, the age difference between them is 5 years

jenna inherits jay's powers, and ethan inherits nya's

ethan has ADHD and lacks good social skills due to being surrounded by only 2 people for most of his childhood, while jenna has anxiety, trust issues and some slight ptsd

oh and I can't forget to sprinkle the t r a u m a on them both

they have a good dynamic and bicker normally like siblings always do, but jenna sometimes needs to have her alone time and hates when anyone bothers her so she can snap at any time

while ethan is sensitive and cant control himself, especially if he sees someone distressed, but if he himself is the distressed one either no one should even come near him or he needs a genuiene hug or encouraging words from someone

I'm not sure when jenna will get her powers and will get her true potential, but until I figure it out, she gets her potential when she saw a certain someone in danger (kinda placeholder!!)

she didnt have control of her powers much at first, but would soon learn its abilities

and when ethan gets his powers, it doesn't go smoothly at all due to nya having been turned into the sea, so all the sudden power is..quite a painful experience without control

his true potential? realizing his worth and saving his sister from danger

I don't have exact birthdays for them yet, but the placeholders for now are may 23rd (jenna) and october 8th (ethan)

when they got a bit older, jenna decided to dye some streaks of her hair blue (and one time had a pixie cut), ethan didn't take any creative liberties with his hair but would sometimes style it when he's bored

jenna was named by jay, and while nya had wanted lilly she didnt mind and just she told him ''as long as you don't name her nya junior I won't throw you off a building"

lilly in the end was just given as a middle name

want a fun fact? jenna was the one that named ethan, the moment she saw him in his little blanket she just kept shouting "ethan! ethan!"

and jenna has a HUGE obsession for drawing and painting, while ethan likes cooking and is declared 'the gordon ramsey of the walkers* by jenna lmao

Jenna: dude please just open your own restuarant at this point Ethan: for the love of the fucking fsm Jenna-

jenna's special nickname is JJ! long story short, it was at first a shortened version of 'jay junior' that was actually a joke but then it became her actual nickname lmao

jenna is aroace and will go by she/they in the future, while ethan goes by he/him and will come out as bi!

jenna was attached to both her parents but felt closer to nya, especially after seabound

she'd watch her and jay in the sam x cave for ages

never remembering nya nor jay, ethan was wary of nya at first and tried to stay close to jenna but the moment she hugged him? he felt safe and knew it was right (shoot I'm kinda spoiling the reunion uhh)

jenna says she has no favourite uncle, but it's secretly cole and only he knows that

from the way all the ninja grieved, it was extremely lonely for a 3 almost 4 year old kid, especially with how everything happened so suddenly and how she can't yet process grief well, she only had cole who'd stay with her alot when she wasn't at her grandparents

(Alma Coin shut down the weapons of all her "mutts" when she and her guard were targeted by Sally, Annie, Bruno. Even Peeta urged Katniss to kill Coin. Annie insulted Coin and publicly accused her of giving them tracker jacker venom instead of their medications,sending Rubius to trigger them and disabling the incapacitators. She realized this quick and every former test subject that would have otherwise killed themselves began mowing down Coin. Coin activated the remote incapacitators saving her life but her guards were killed or injured.

Boggs and Jackson refused to be anywhere near Rubius Mayne.

Peeta was on a killing spree before Katniss brought him out of it.

Rubius Mayne was a undercover rebel avox forced to cook and feed other avoxes to the test subjects. He didn't know that he was giving out tracker Jacker venom pills. Mayne also changed the clothes and they saw him alot in the Capitol, cleaned them up, organized the shelves with other avoxes. They also watched him cooking their food. He was seared into all their memories. The secret police had them wait to take the pills supposedly for recording purposes. They then asked Katniss to go with Rubius, but she refused to go, and even shot the guards who tried to force her killing them. 2 were killed. The disabled incapacitators, the "medication shortage", and knowing who Rubius Mayne was from Boggs she instinctfully shot them when they tried to force her to tag along to a place that had more light and no cover, a crowd of people. (The entrance to the training center).

But Katniss's focus is on her lover, and his safety. Peeta guns many down but stops himself, he tries to off himself, Katniss and Gale try to stop him, but Gale Is hit by Violetta Johnson, the gun is thrown on the ground. Katniss and Peeta wrestle for the gun. Katniss kisses Peeta and wills him to stay with her. . Finnick rushes back in to Annie kicking Mellark's the gun away while he is distracted with Katniss. As guards come in and collect the unconscious "assassin mutts" Katniss escapes. Peeta is sent to a hospital, and Katniss goes to visit him and Prim, Katniss blows up the recreational center and is arrested alongside Peeta.

(this isn't presenting Katniss as a super hero at all she's a 17 year old girl with ptsd that was just made worse, this is basically another arena she survived by sheer luck.

Katniss cracked and blew up a recreational center just because Prim was becoming a drug addict. She just happened to make the right decisions at the right time. She cracked and said "fuck it" and did the type of rebellious stunts she did in the arena.
