Summary: This was what Dean did, spouted off statements that made absolutely no sense except to his own mind. And then he would grin and wait for Castiel to respond. He had initially thought that this was a demonic tick developed over forty years in hell. But it hadn't disappeared with the rest of the demonic attributes. Dean continued to be incomprehensible.

Despite the show ending three years ago, we continue to be delighted by the passion and creativity our participants bring to this challenge. Along with providing dozens of new stories with art for the fandom, we love seeing the way our authors and artists support each other. From DCBB veterans to those completing their first ever challenge, we see you asking questions, sharing knowledge, and lifting each other up. Seeing such positivity keeps us going year after year!

Upon meeting the past version of Dean sent by Zachariah, Castiel knows only one thing for certain:

Very soon, he's going to die.

So he decides he might as well go out with a bang and enjoy one last night on Earth with this more innocent, less jaded Dean.

What he doesn't expect is for a single night of desperate passion to leave him pregnant, carrying a child who ends up saving both his and Dean's lives.

2015, Lebanon, Kansas. Castiel, Dean and Sam have been carrying on with "saving people, hunting things" along with dodging one apocalypse after another for years. While hunkered down in the bunker recovering from Rowena's mad dog spell, Cas is surprised to have another Dean, along with a heavily pregnant version of himself, come stumbling through a fiery rift and into their lives.
