1. how would you describe your art style? uhhhhhhhh, maybe "safe" is the word rn. whenever I think of my art style, what comes to mind is just how little I've been pushing things with it. I wanna change that ;D

2. what's your favorite thing about your style? I realize I like to use semi-realistic proportions, its cool how comfortable I've gotten with drawing faces and bodies

3. what's your least favorite thing about your style? It's so static man. same thing I said for the first question, I don't think anything really looks bad, but it just is lacking in creativity in comparison to the older art that should be looking worse than what I do now. I prefer my older stuff ;D (looking at you inktobertale2021.. where did it all go wrong)

4. favorite thing to draw? regular ol people. human characters are def more in my comfort zone, which explains why I keep hitting skeletons with the humanization ray (also I prefer to draw feminine characters)

5. least favorite thing to draw? I can't even say I rlly dislike it cuz of how rarely I even do it, but I am procrastinating so hard on learning backgrounds..

6. warm colors or cool colors? cool colors are my fav, but i find it easier to work with warm ones (I used to put a cool overlay over all my warm toned drawings hgdhfg)

7. show us a WIP behold, the wip ever. this drawing... was supposed to be posted on august 2022. and then, it was supposed to be posted on dec 21st, dream and nightmares birthday. (atp if I do end up wanting to finish this idea again, I'll probably just scrap it and start over)

8. what's the most fun and least fun parts about your process? most fun is flat color and rendering. (though I rarely do the latter anymore) and for least fun, tbh a lot of the sketching part tends to be difficult for me, sometimes its cool tho

10. how many different sketches do you usually have until your piece is finished? I think I do need to make more of at least thumbnail sketches tbh.. I usually just make one and keep editing it, trusting the process. I'll have like 276478923 wips started, and then I get a random idea that I just have to do right at that moment, and I'll get it done in like 1-4 hours. meanwhile old sketches start to rot and maybe if its lucky I'll revisit it before my motivation dies and my style is too different to wanna continue from where I left off 14. digital or traditional? digital all the way, i've gotten too dependent on the transform tool + liquefy ;D (and many other things tbh but I'd be here all day if I tried comparing them more jhdjdf)

15. if digital, what program do you use? procreate, the layouts on other drawing programs scare me

2022 NWSL Expansion Draft: Dash mock-protection list 2.0

The NWSL will hold an expansion draft on December 16 for new clubs Angel City FC and San Diego Wave FC.

The Houston Dash can only protect nine players on its roster from selection by the California clubs.

In just one week, the Houston Dash’s nine player protection list will be revealed. On December 16 in Los Angeles for the 2022 NWSL expansion draft, Angel City FC and San Diego Wave FC will select one player each from Houston’s roster outside of those nine players.

It has been three months since I last took a crack at predicting what head coach James Clarkson and his staff will decide, so I thought I’d give it another shot with this second edition mock-protection list. My selections have been made using a mix of insight on 2021 performance, offseason decisions by the Dash, conversations with Clarkson and some unsubstantiated hunches.

Protected list:

1. Jane Campbell

6. Megan Oyster

7. Gabby Seiler

8. Haley Hanson

9. Maria Sanchez

No. 1-5: The no brainers

I am almost 100% sure that the first five players on the list will be included. All of them have been integral to the team for multiple seasons now, and of that group, only Katie Naughton is yet to sign a contract extension confirming their future with the Dash.

From the moment the NWSL announced the news that teams could only protect one allocated U.S. national team player, every Dash fan knew that one of Jane Campbell or Kristie Mewis was going to go unprotected. Considering that Campbell’s contract extension has already been inked, then it appears that Mewis will either be selected by a California club on December 16 or perhaps we’ll see her traded away before the expansion draft.

Last month, Clarkson teased that the Dash could potentially trade for the Kansas City Current’s draft exemption. But now that the Missouri club has signed Kristie’s sister Sam Mewis — bringing the Current’s number of U.S. national team players up to two — it would appear that deal is off the table.

No. 6-8: Core group about to hit their peak

This is the complicated part of the protection list. Clarkson’s decision comes down to whether he wants to retain more experienced players or less experienced players, as well as whether to cling on to a whole position group.

On my list, I believe that Megan Oyster, and her relationship with Naughton, is too important to pass up on. The logic behind keeping Gabby Seiler and Haley Hanson is that neither player has reached her peak yet, while already performing excellently for Houston. They could be the future of the team over the next few seasons.

In contrast, there is also a good chance that Clarkson opts to stand by his most experienced players who have consistently performed at high levels since he became head coach in 2019. Sophie Schmidt has been one of the leaders on this Dash team. She has played some of the best soccer of her career in the past 18 months and carried herself as a composite professional. However, Seiler can play Schmidt's position at the base of midfield. Do you begin transitioning or bring back a proven winner?

One could argue that Canadian international Allysha Chapman is more irreplaceable than Seiler or Schmidt in the short term. Over the 2021 season, the Dash failed to slot an effective deputy in that position when the left back was away in Tokyo. Perhaps Chapman gets protected, along with Hanson and Oyster, and the Dash can then go into 2022 with an intact back line.

There are two final things to keep in mind here.

One is that the two expansion clubs have already acquired some defensive pieces. Abby Dahlkemper and Tegan McGrady have been traded to San Diego, while Angel City has picked up Julie Ertz and Sarah Gorden. Leaving more defenders unprotected could be advantageous. Oyster’s UCLA connection will keep Dash fans sweating if she goes unprotected.

Two is that the Dash can only lose one player from each position group. So hypothetically, if the Wave were to select forward Veronica Latsko, then all other forwards on the roster would become protected from Angel City.

No. 9: The Sanchez dilemma

I think it’s happening. I believe that Maria Sanchez will become a Houston Dash player in January 2022. There isn’t too much concrete evidence to go off right now and Clarkson declined to give any confirmation of her arrival when we spoke last month. But all the context clues would appear to be pointing in that direction.

Assuming that Mewis is not going to be a Dash player in 2022, then locking in Sanchez is essential. Mewis’ contribution when it comes to confidence, technique and skill on the ball is close to unmatched but Sanchez, who is also left-footed, is about as close as you can get.

There are some caveats. Sanchez played just three matches for Houston in 2021, appears very happy at UANL Tigres and will be gearing up for CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers with Mexico in 2022. Luring her back to Texas is no simple task. Clarkson could also double bluff, and predict that neither California club would take the risk of selecting Sanchez without the confirmation that she will be coming back and play in the NWSL. The best case scenario for the Dash is that Sanchez is left unprotected and is not selected by one of the teams — but in my opinion, that outcome is too risky.

Probable drafted unprotected players:

Kristie Mewis, Allysha Chapman, Sophie Schmidt, Veronica Latsko, Makamae Gomera-Stevens, Jasmyne Spencer, Joelle Anderson and Bri Visalli.

Going off my mock-protection list, two of this group that could be leaving Houston.

Mewis would be a must-select by either team if she is still on the Dash’s roster and is unprotected on December 16. Similarly, Schmidt is a huge player to have anchor a brand-new midfield. Spencer would offer similar leadership skills and NWSL experience.

Latsko has been a really consistent player for Houston — selfless, hard-working and versatile across the frontline. Considering how young and inexperienced Gomera-Stevens is, I think it’s more likely that Latsko is taken from the forward position.

Pepperdine senior forward Joelle Anderson is one to watch. The San Jose, Calif. native is coming off the most productive NCAA season of her career, where she scored 11 goals and assisted eight more across 21 matches in 2021. It might hurt some Dash fans to see a young talent depart before she’s even arrived, but it wouldn’t be a loss of continuity in the team for 2022. That’s maybe a net positive if the desired goal is to keep Clarkson’s core intact.

Bri Visalli — who also attended Pepperdine University — could be another native Californian looking to make the move to a club in her home state. A fan favorite in Houston, Visalli has shown over the past two seasons that in the right system, she can be very effective. Casey Stoney’s penchant for high-pressing soccer could make her a good fit in San Diego.

San Jose Sharks forward Evander Kane has filed for bankruptcy with $26.8 million worth of debt, according to The Athletic's Daniel Kaplan.

Kane reportedly has assets of only $10.2 million, largely from his three homes. The filing also said Kane may not play this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic and birth of his first child.

The NHL opt-out deadline for the 2020-21 season was Dec. 24, however, and the bankruptcy petition is dated Jan. 9. It hasn't been clarified how Kane could still opt out at this point.

Centennial Bank filed a lawsuit last week against Kane and the Sharks seeking $8.3 million. It's one of six active lawsuits, court actions, and administrative proceedings with lenders listed in the complaint.

“Don’t blame yourself. I knew what I signed up for when we moved in together.” Mage didn’t seem eased by that, so Deca took the end of the nearest tendril and acted like he was biting it, just hard enough that Mage could feel the points of his hidden, second set of teeth. “No. No guilt for you.”

Mage jolted a bit, having gotten lost in his own head again, but smiled and sighed, “You’re right, as usual. what can i do to help, then?”

“just hold me, like you already are. being close to you makes me feel safer.” Deca took a deep breath and almost laughed when he felt Mage gently nuzzle the top of his head sleepily. It was hard for Mage to stay awake long this late.“wake me up again if you need me?”

“course i will, you dork,” Deca smiles as he tries to go back to sleep, happily wrapped in his boyfriend’s grasp.

Backstory

Once upon the time, the star was invaded and destroyed by the invaders from other Aus. Ink alone couldn’t handled this so he used his Ink combined with souls fragments from Outertale!Sans and Underswap!Sans to created the guardian of the stars and that’s is Procyon. His duty is to protected those stars from the invaders.

Personality He calms but not lazy. He jovial and love to see other smiles. He mostly thinks before doing anything. He is a thoughtful skeleton and sometimes hides his true emotion. If he with people he doesn’t know before, he will act everything calmly and thoughtfully because he doesn’t trust anyone easily. He very serious about his duty. When he got any mission or task to get on, he will complete it whatever it takes.

Powers/Abilities

He can summon gaster blaster and bones like other sans

He can also releases ink from his finger to create chains to stand on or capture/make his enemies stop moving.

He can uses blue attack like other sans but he can make you fly into the stars.
