You will be snapped into perfect alignment: Graffiti is submerged in chaos and darkness… that’s exactly why I’m attracted to it. I like how there are almost an infinite amount of layers of abstractions involved in graffiti. Can I get to that spot? Is this thing going to hold me? Did I forget a can? Is that a cop car? You get unpredictable outcomes every single execution. Alternatively, one thing that I dislike about most digital art is that sometimes everything can feel too perfectly snapped, aligned, and ordered. So perfect that it becomes average and easily predictable. You must declare war against becoming a preset. Artificial intelligence can be used reintroduce controlled chaos and true distortion back into the process. By removing the human element and giving complete control to neural networks you can go back to getting almost an infinite amount of unpredictable outcomes for all executions. Here I used machine learning to collect visual information from the Spike In Mortality video that I produced last year… and then I used that data to generate completely new images that I used to create this video.
