Delly laughs drunkenly "I didn't think I would be mentoring tributes but here I am, so your not going to like the advice but the strangulation is at this point a wound in Peeta as well particularly when your on his watch. The best way would be to forgive him. The problem is deep in him, you will have no choice but to help him determine what's real from false. Your kind of a giant wound in his mind at this point and when your on the rotation it begins to bleed. He thinks even if he's evil he lives according to his old ethical code, he thinks he can control his episodes, he is doing his duty to 13. But when he sees you he remembers the strangulation and he hates the icky feeling, you remind him that in the end he is a mutt, he has accepted this. He even tries to feel and act sane, but the bruises on your neck bring him back to reality. He is scared, Peeta only wanted to do his military duty after he was better, after the war was over and you remind him that he isn't in control of his episodes and he thought you were ready to kick him when he's down in front of both squads. The demons and wounds are many and we cuased many of them. All this is relevant becuase Peeta as insane as he is has a vote in who is on his rotation, you witnessed this first hand. "

Delly then tries to persuade Katniss to quit the rotation but Katniss never told Delly she didn't trust the unit to protect her and needs the incapacitator. Delly also does not know that Katniss basically has no real choice and Coin is going to find a way to put her on anyway. Katniss has done everything in her power to not care about Peeta, to cut the cord, but the things Delly reveals hurt as much as the torture at the hands of d13 thugs.

Even when Delly realizes it isn't working she continues spouting stuff until she passes out drunk. Every drug loosens Delly’s inhibitions leading to more Peeta information being revealed with decreasing coherence.

Thank you for the questions. And thanks for waiting for the answers! I uh... kinda went off so I'll be putting the lengthy answers under the cut!

2) Otome I would like to play

Right off the top of my head, I'd love to dive into Collar x Malice Unlimited, Piofiore: Episodio 1926, Virche Evemore: Epic Lycoris, and Radiant Tale Fanfare!

However, seeing as those are fandisc/sequels and I still need to finish the original games, I kinda can't. Not without running into massive spoilers and being left totally confused at least.

And actually, Epic Lycoris and Fanfare have yet to release in English so even if I did already play through Virche and RT, I wouldn't be able to play them right away...

Okay okay! But for a title that isn't a fandisc, the only otome that is currently catching my eye is Cupid Parasite.

Which is weird because literally none of the love interests in that game have long, luscious hair which is my usual weakness. But the art looks good and the concept of the literal Greek Cupid working as a matchmaker for the most un-matchable men ever seems funny.

And I have a feeling that there would be more going on than just cringefail men making out with a Greek deity.

24) Favorite otome

I've mentioned Cinderella Phenomenon as a fave of mine before. So another one of my favorite otomes would be Code Realize: Guardian of Rebirth, as well as the two fandiscs Future Blessings and Wintertide Miracles.

I really love the series! It did take me a while to really warm up to it but once I let myself get absorbed in the world and the characters, I got really attached. And with each entry into the series I played, the more I loved all of it. Cardia is such a sweet but strong-willed heroine. Several love interests stole my heart with their tragic stories. And for the ones that didn't leave me in tears, they were decent enough and good for getting a laugh out of me.

The side characters are pretty interesting too. Delly and Finis are like my baby brothers. Queen Victoria kinda talks down to Cardia and the boys at times but we can forgive her because she's kinda cool in how she's like "the kingdom and its people are my children, and a mother protects her children." Watson. Just Watson. He's a treasure.

The artwork of the game is beautiful too! UDAHGAEUHIAHR! All of them are winners in my opinion. ESPECIALLY HERLOCK! He may have needed to wait for the fandisc to get his route but it was made up for by all his cgs being LITERALLY THE BEST!

And the thing is, I love Code Realize so much that as I came close to completing the third game... All I needed was to read the epilogues of Wintertide Miracles and then I'd have the full stories and all the cgs... I was close to completing it and I paused and went "wait, I don't want the story to end yet. I want to keep falling in love with this game and the characters."

So I decided to delete my save data for all three games and buy other otomes to play so I could delay seeing the end of Code Realize's story. If I saw the ending, then the story would be concluded and I didn't want to imagine closing the book on Code Realize! AAAAAHHHHHHH!

I'm gonna replay Code Realize and actually see the epilogues of Wintertide Miracles one day. But not for a long time!

I just want the series to stay alive in my head with the ending just out of reach for as long as possible... That's how much I love it.

25) Free question: what otome games will you recommend me to play?

If you're looking to play an otome game, I'd suggest Cinderella Phenomenon.

It's free to play and available either through Steam or itch.io. The basic premise centers on a princess breaking a curse placed on her by a witch and along the way, she falls in love with a handsome young man, also under a curse. But even that base idea has a few twists to it.

Cinderella Phenomenon (or Cin Phen for short) is a straightforward, choice-based dating sim. And even light on how many choices you make. Not counting the Common Route (which is the section of an otome before you're locked for a single guy), you only make 21 choices total, three per chapter with a guy, excluding the final chapter which is either the Good or Bad Ending. Cin Phen is also nice in that you are allowed to have a guide, the Right Choice Indicator, to clue you in on when you've made a choice leading you to the Good Ending. It can be delayed for some choices and you can even turn it off if you want to play blind.

While I... disagree with a trope used in one route, all of the main characters and a good majority of the supporting cast are good, likeable people who each deserve a happy ending. No one is perfect and a couple show difficult sides of themselves at times but it makes the characters rounded and entertaining.

There are also dark themes like political corruption, emotional manipulation/abuse, and death. Though I'd still say Cin Phen is a pretty safe starting point when it comes to dating sim.

Playing some more of the Code Realize: Future Blessings game and did the Finis path and... it was sooooo good

Cardia showing Finis that he could be loved by someone who wasn't their father, Delly reaching out despite their different circumstances to empathize with Finis because they were both clinging to idealized versions of their fathers that weren't really accurate to who they were, Lupin and the others treating Finis with kindness despite the awful things he'd done... Finis voluntarily getting into the canon meant to be launching Van Helsing (*snicker* Impey isn't even subtle about the name of it) intending to tear down everything he's spent the last few years building up to all because now that he has a sister who loves him he can't bear to lose her...

Hansel the apostle of Idea was a... weird choice, but at the same time I get why they created him for this game path - thematically he's a foil to both Cardia and Finis at different points of the game path. To Cardia when she refuses to leave the Twilight group with Lupin, despite the danger it puts her in and knowing she's a vital piece in her father's massive terrorist plot. She won't leave knowing Finis is trapped in the abusive cycle their father forced him into before dying. And Hansel refused to take his sister's food even though she was dying faster than him and knew it. And Finis finally embracing his individuality and racing to save his sister, refusing to give up on Cardia even after she'd been essentially subsumed by their father... much like Hansel's desire to save his sister's life even after she'd died led to Gretel's soul staying by his side as a powerful weapon in death. Finis was able to save Cardia from becoming a weapon and I think that, above all else, is why Hansel chose to spare them afterwards. He couldn't get a true happily ever after with his sister, but Finis and Cardia overcame a great deal of hardship and resentment and still came to love each other as the family they'd always desired.

I also liked how the path clarified some of the questions I had about Finis' nature. Was he a computer manipulating mindless puppets? Was he a hive mind made up of unique individual clones who, much like the Borg, had that individuality stripped away by the process that caused them to share memories and experiences?

It was hinted at being the hive mind in some of the paths from the original game, but it was made very clear here that each Finis started off as a unique clone who was then hooked up to the hive mind and 'assimilated'. When one of the Finis' started to develop divergent behaviors thanks to his interactions with Cardia, he's cut from the hive mind and sacrificed. I wonder how many Finis were discarded over time for developing individuality. But this one survived and saved his sister and found the familial love he'd always longed for. I love the ending of the two of them living together in the house the original Cardia and Finis had once lived in, repairing the home that had fallen into disrepair.

Finis as part of the hive mind was party to a lot of truly horrible things, but he was also manipulated into doing them by a father who had delusions of godhood and no longer saw anyone - though most especially the clones of his dead children - as truly human anymore. So I'm glad to see him be given the same sort of second chance that Van Helsing and Frankenstein are given by the original game. The hive mind version of Finis may be dead - and the majority of the clones who'd been part of that hive mind - but at least one version of him gets a chance at a real life instead of the doll-like existence his father envisioned for him.

(Also their father getting called out on being the real monster, not Cardia or Finis, was very satisfying even if he was too far gone to pay any attention to it.)

Otometober Day 18 Midnight

This story will be based around midnight on halloween done with me as the mc and the outs of the the 31st with him. This story will be about Saint Germain from Code Realize. Slightly NSFW but not as in detail come on saint germain is a gentleman :)

Saint Germain

I got up this morning and me and Saint walked around town as we do every morning getting breakfast at a local cafe and enjoying a good talk over tea. We been together almost a year and normally he never celebrates halloween however this year I talked him into getting the fellas to decorate the house so that we can have a party tonight. We addressed costumes but jsut as Saint I felt the only true way to dress up as a couple would be a matching masquerade set with a beautiful white tux and a gorgeous maroon gown both of us with matching masks one gold being his and mine being black to match the outline of my maroon gown. We shared our thoughts and dreams as we do every morning then we walked back to the mansion knowiong we had been out long enough for the fellas to set up the house.

As soon as we walked through the gate Saint released my arm then opened the door for me. He is such a gentleman not sure how I got so lucky. I mean he is possessive at times, can come off jealous, and has his moments where he would no sooner dominate me and leave with me over in his arms than stand around and mingle. He could be an extrovert when needed but as long as he has me he is ok with it just being us as well. As I walked through the door he put his hand on my lower back to escort me in like a true gentleman. We were right perfect amount of time, Impey was in the kitchen fixing alot of food, Fran was in control of the cool effects with his science brain of his. Lupin was setting up decorations that he of course stole from someone elses home. Of course Van can't be asked so he is out training Delly than doing anything to get ready.

We let the guys know were back then head up stairs to get ready. Saint being he is from a time when women wore big gowns normally he offers to help me put on this beautiful gown. He enters his room because we don't sleep together yet not until we get married that is. I head to mine to start getting things in order. Soon as I walk in the room I am hit with a beautiful scent of calla lilies that Saint had picked from his garden and had put on my bed side table. He is always doing stuff like this the intimate romantic things he does. We may have never taken things all the way yet but he still knows how to make sure I know he loves me and can still be very intimate. This is why I don't push him away when he wants all his kisses because he really is being a gentleman about my virtue. I step over to my bed and there lays this beautiful gown that Saint had picked out for me it had jewels embedded in the collar it was breath taking. Soon as I was in awe and walked towards the dress I heard the door open and close then latch back. I turned around to see Saint dressed in a white tux he looks so amazingly hot in it too.

He pulls my chocolate hair to the side off my neck runs his fingered gloves across my skin, this sends chills down my body but I let him continue. He undoes the dress I'm wearing letting it fall to the floor leaving me in the undergarments that no one but my husband should see yet here he is. He leans in kissing my shoulder closing his eyes its almost as if he is breathing me in. I let a soft moan escape my lips before feeling his finger touch my lips as if to shush me. He turns me around and he has a mischievous look on his face as he lifts the dress up over my head and get it just right sliding it down over my breast and under garments. As he fluffs the dress making it look so beautiful on me I was caught off guard how lovely it really is. "Germain, darlin this dress is amazing and you said it was from france?" I could have sworn he told me he was getting the best sent over for me.

He nodded and gave me a smile "Yes only the best for the love of my life." We looked at his pocket watch and realized as the main hosts they should be downstairs welcoming people as they came in. Saint was so good at this he had been doing parties and stuff for centuries, I really hope I don't let him down I know I don't have no where near the etitquette he does. As we got to the bottom of the stairs he twirled me one time then let me stop in his arms before leaning in and kissing my lips so softly. He loves to do this any chance he can get to kiss me, and he lets out a soft giggle after if knowing he was going to make me blush as he did. He held my hand and walked me into the ballroom of the home where others were already starting to dance. As we walked across the floor you would think we were royalty as people bow and curtsey to us. Our masks are gently on our faces however its not hard to know its us when we dominate the room.

Saint asks me to dance to one of the most beautiful songs that I have ever heard. He bows kisses my hand then walks me onto the dance floor. I love being in his arms no matter where we are I feel safe I never question if he would hurt me or for that fact if anyone will. I long for the day when we can go all the way and that he can make love to me as my body does yearn for him. We laughed and joked with the fellas, had a nice dinner as well as danced til it stroke midnight. Everyone started to leave halloween was technically over. Everything would be cleaned up later but for now we were now standing in the doorway after the house has gone quiet and everyone gone home. It was a lovely evening and I was ready for bed. Then as he walked me to my room he told me he would help me get out of the dress before going to bed. I loved Saint needed no servants it made it really feel like we could live as others do with some extra spendid things.

He undid the back of my dress before leaning in and kissing my shoulders. I closed my eyes and moaned softly "Saint you can't do that, your driving me crazy." I barely got those words out before he giggled and continued to kiss my shoulders up to my neck. I continue to tell him that I can't take much more before he drops my dress to the floor leaving me even more exposed. He slowly runs his fingers down my bodice and gives me a mischievous smile. He loves to kiss every inch of me and tonight he shows me just that. We never go all the way but he still takes me there even without being within me. He kisses as he unclasps every inch of my under clothing as well until I am standing before him with nothing on. He kisses every curve of my body driving me crazy. He then grabs a robe and wraps around me before helping me into bed. His lips burned onto my skin me wanting more my body yearning for more. As he goes to step away from the bed after tucking me in I grab for his arm. "Don't leave me. Stay with me tonight." I suggest as he leans in kissing my forehead teasing every part of me then whispers in my ear. "I love to tease you and turn you on so that I am all you think about."

I fall asleep that night with my body on fire he knows what he is doing to my body and all I can say is he stays a gentleman that I love but I need to marry him soon before I lose my mind from the ecstasy of wanting him to take me to a new sensation, to a sensual world only he can take me. Every night the thoughts come back to me of the teasing he did to my body all after midnight.

Everytime I think “I’m going to work on my backlog!” I feel like it expands. I look away, and it grows.

But I’m determined to put a dent in it this year! And it’s been going great so far! Maybe it’ll have a sizable one by the time I get the Switch 2? Which is next month… so debatable.

Next week we will go on a nice journey of Collar x Malice. I’m still on the first fandisc of Code Realize. Which Impey still steals the show, alongside best boy Finis and Herlock!

One of these days I will get to Masquerade Kiss and Destind on the Switch.

He couldn't tell her much. Delly was used to that. There were things that Peeta couldn't tell her and things that he hadn't told her until it became irresponsible not to. Thoughts went to that rose and Peeta telling her everything that he could. Delly suddenly wondered if Gale was in trouble, and the more troubling thing was the way that that made her feel. She wanted Gale to stay safe. He was in a similar position as her, being Katniss's best friend. They had never talked about it, the way that they were the best friends of the star-crossed lovers from Twelve. If Delly's life had changed with Peeta's win...Gale's life must have changed too. Especially since Katniss and Agle were 'cousins'.

"Okay," she replied easily, nodding her head. "I understand. But...you're okay? Not...not in trouble?" She asked. Gale had an energy about him that had set off something in her brain. Was Gale in danger? Was he going to do something stupid? And why did that upset her? Delly didn't understand these feelings that she was having.

I need you to watch the Games for me. I have to go and do a thing. His comment had her wanting to ask him a million questions, but the look in his eyes stopped her. For once, Delly was silent. She had learned through her year with Peeta that there were just things that you couldn't ask or vocalize in the Capitol. Or even back in Twelve. She had sometimes thought that he was being paranoid, but then she had received that rose and she realized that this was serious. "Of course, you know that I don't mind keeping watch." They weren't throwing a watch party, Delly could see it in his eyes. And since when did Gale care about a watch party? He preferred to watch the Games in the privacy of her room or his. It was a code. But for what? Curiosity filled her and she really wanted to know more, but she held her tongue. "Okay. Roof of the building at eight. No sooner or later. I got it. I'll be there," she promised him. "And until then I'll keep watch over your mom." Worry filled her expression, but she didn't say anything more. Gale was being cryptic, so she would be too.

It was already hard to stand there, unaware of what was happening inside the arena, and knowing he'd have to go even longer without watching. He'd just have to trust that his mother would be fine, trust that Delly's attentive eyes, and whoever else that was watching that rooted for her, would be enough to keep her safe. It was maddening, to think that they were so close to a possible rescue, but that anything could happen in the meantime. It was as if the closer the minutes stretched to being go time, the more impossible it felt. A whole week, he'd suffered, a whole week of watching her in there, and now it'd hopefully be a few hours until he could get her to safety again -- how unlucky that it'd be three whole days before he got to see his mother again, but he didn't know that yet.

"Everything's okay," he lied, in a nod. It was only a half lie, or perhaps a mostly-truth, if he was honest. He felt more alive today than he'd felt all week, the energy vibrating off of him probably looked completely alien to Delly. It took a lot of anticipation and anxiety to make Gale Hawthorne no longer look or feel like a walking corpse while still stuck inside the Capitol. "I can't... tell you much, right now."

He couldn't tell her anything, in fact. He wasn't even sure if he could tell her what he was about to disclose, but he didn't care about that part; the rebellion could lock him up and make him pay if his crimes were trying to save his people. "I need you to watch the Games for me, I'm heading out. To do... a thing." He didn't pause for long, unwilling to let her ask any questions -- he'd specified no questions asked already, but he knew she had a tendency to ask a lot of them anyway. "And in about an hour from now, at eight o'clock, y're gonna take the stairs, y're gonna go up to the roof of this building. Okay?" It was stupidity and desperation that made him so careless with his words, but once he remembered the Capitol could be listening, he added some half-baked lies. "It's a party, they're throwing a watch party. Just like the one we saw the other day." Just wrong enough that she would catch on to something weird, hopefully, feel the urgency in the nonsense and listen to him. His eyes were locked onto hers, trying to convey all the things he wasn't saying. The less she knew, the better. "Right? And that's it, at eight. No later."

About to work on a long reply shortly, but it’s a good feeling to know that I’ve got mutuals playing/replaying both Danganronpa and Code: Realize. I’m not much of a gamer but I love them both so much (and even if you think otome games aren’t for you, C:R is just a good story). 

I guess if I had to give this post a point: I have a Code: Realize verse for game verse interactions (but I’m not opposed to modern either, I’ve got one of those going at the moment too!) and verses for several other fandoms too (mostly otome. VNs are about all I can handle in terms of video games). 

Basically I’m just happy to see more muses with Danganronpa crossover verses and Code: Realize muses/verses.
