Dental care for children in Ealing
Many of us have a dental phobia, and we often avoid getting treatment from dentists. We often make things worse by pulling out all the stops to make our children avoid getting treatment from a child-friendly dentist. In our dental care, the first thing we do is make our dental environment child-friendly by making the little ones sit still. At Dentael, one of our goals is to teach children good oral hygiene at a very young age. Please get in touch with us at: https://g.page/r/CYdz01uoh8xYEAg/.

Am I the asshole for resenting my father after he forced me into braces?
For context I am seventeen now but was forced into braces at twelve years old. While I did have very crooked teeth, I never wanted braces, my teeth never caused me any sort of physical pain or insecurity. I told him as much before I was put into braces. But he refused to hear it.
As far as I'm aware braces were not a medical necessity for me.
I've repeatedly tried to discuss it with him but he always tells me that he has a good insurance, one that covers dental care for all children under the age of twenty one and that I should be grateful. He also told me that if he didn't make me get braces I would be angry and upset with him when I turn twenty one.
I tell him that that's not true, that it's my body and I should have a say in the matter but he only says that he's doing what's best for me and refuses to discuss it any further.
What's worse is that each appointment is a drive that's an hour and a half away from where I live—they aren't open on weekends or evenings—so every appointment (once a month) I have to miss at least half of a school day (but usually it ends up being a full day of school) even if the appointment itself is only fifteen minutes. We do have a local orthodontist but my father refuses to take me there because he thinks the guy who runs the place is money hungry.
Anyway, I'll be getting my braces off in a few months. The orthodontic team has made an entire treatment plan for me—one that involves me wearing a retainer 24/7, indefinitely. And later getting implants. I don't want to follow this treatment plan and I don't like that it was made without me ever being asked how I feel about it.
I've told other people about it, and they've said that I'm making a fuss about nothing and that parents have the right to decide what's best for thier children. But I'm not a child anymore.
I know he was doing what he thought was best but I secretly resent my father for putting me in braces when I didn't want them. I think the fact that he never took my wishes into account or asked me how I felt makes him a bad parent. But maybe I'm overreacting.
Is he right? Am I the asshole?
What are these acronyms?

Hello friend from the country of maples. I have come asking for headcanons for the pants man because it is almost 4am and he is living in my brain rent free.
Tumblr media
I would like to blame Hamilton the musical because I googled the difference between “My dearest Angelica,” and “My dearest, Angelica” and at first i thought “huh Morax would do this to wifey” and then a little throwaway like from a ZhongChi fanfic made me realize Pantalone would ALSO do this to his beloved and as the musical goes “consumed my waking days”
Oh my god Al Haitham would do this too.
Guess I’m not sleeping
Headcanons for pants? Headcanons for pants?
I love you, also go to bed pls.
Because you didn't specify what kind of headcanons I'm just gonna throw down whatever I got off the top of my head rn that I didn't include in the health headcanons. Also just fyi I flip flop between certain headcanons mostly because there isn't enough info about him at this very moment, so it's kinda like "what flavour of pants do I crave today?"
ANYWAYS pants time
For a while I headcanoned him as like 27-28 at the absolute youngest because the limited information we have about him gave me young hotshot entrepreneur "thirty under 30" vibes.
Like I can so clearly in a modern AU see his face plastered all over magazines about this young man who worked his ass off to go from rags to riches. (I'm thinking about Bruce Wayne in the opening from Arkham City. "It's billionaire, Vicki. Millionaires are so last year.")
He is unrecognizable from his youth counterpart today. He was this scrawny child, hair matted and tangled and perpetually dirty. Always had some bruises and cuts and scrapes, crooked teeth, the works. With all the money in his pocket, he's been able to afford top of the line medical care, dental treatments, expensive luxury soaps and shampoos, and only the finest of clothing. It's astounding but also horrifying to see how different the two are.
It's not necessarily his favourite food but his comfort foods are whatever super cheap fresh hot meals he could get his hands on. He still thinks back to the very first actually expensive meal he bought with his own money every now and again.
He would never admit this, of course. They'd all laugh at him if they found out he enjoyed peasant meals.
On occasion, though, he will remake one of these really cheap meals for a midnight snack.
He's not a bad cook, it's just all the meals he knows how to make are less about flavour and more about practicality/edibility. That said, though, he knows how to make a meal made from like five ingredients not only last for quite a while, but also taste really good.
Sugar daddy material, he would love nothing more than to spoil his darling rotten, HOWEVER he is not interested in someone only dating him for his money. He wants someone who will let him pamper them, but will also be there in the event everything falls apart and he once again has nothing.
Constantly has to remind everyone that the Northland Bank is SEPERATE from the Fatui. He needs everyone to know that the success of the bank is not because of the Fatui, it's because of him. Vice versa, while the bank's success may have gotten the attention of the Fatui, him becoming a harbinger is because he worked his ass off to get that position.
There is no information on his family or if he even has one, but you know how Lucio from The Arcana has that portrait of his mother all dressed up in regal attire, despite the fact he was raised in a tribe? I think Pantalone would have a bunch of portraits of his family all over his manor(s) sort of like that.
If he ever has kids, he would be so torn between spoiling them because he certainly has the money to do that, but he also cannot stand the snobby little brats of his business partners and does not want his children acting like that.
This is just really random but for some reason All Hail the Fishmen from Lisa The Painful gives me pants vibes and I cannot explain why
And... Yeah! That's it rn, unless you wanna hear about my oc/pants' knife wife Xue, or you have specific headcanons in mind.

If you wanna know just how full of bullshit the Trans Rights Movement is, just consider this. There have been actual genocides in history. There are actual genocides happening right now.
The one that comes to mind for me is the Uyghurs in China, a small cultural minority with their own practices, language, and religion (Muslim) in a violently secular country. The Chinese government has set up a surveillance state in the Xinjiang Uyghur Region in Northwestern China, and they monitor the Uyghurs comings and goings from their houses, novel hobbies such as weightlifting and working out, and expenses.
If they feel as though someone of the Uyghur community is not up to par, they will lock their bank account and forcibly imprison them in a reeducation center where they are beaten, shocked with cattle prods, and forced to eat pork and consume alcohol. They are not allowed to speak their native language, they are made to praise Xi Jinping, and aren't allowed to follow any of their cultural practices. Uyghur children are removed from their parents and placed with "proper families" and aren't allowed to see their family.
Uyghurs are suffering a genocide and are in danger of having their culture and language erased. There are currently innocent people imprisoned, having committed no crime except the crime of where they were raised and who by. There are people being hurt by government power to 'reeducate' them.
Let's compare all of this horror to the 'trans genocide' in America. Trans people have the right to self identification, even in situations where it disadvantages others, such as sports. Gender affirming treatment is covered by all insurances while other prescriptions like insulin, medicines for heart conditions, mobility aids, and even child birth and prenatal care aren't. Even in countries with free healthcare, gender affirming care is covered while dental, vision, and hearing isn't.
Trans people have successfully campaigned for biology to not be properly taught in schools because it's 'bigotry' and have successfully removed terms like women's healthcare, breast feeding, and maternal care from the medical sector. There is no wait and see method for trans youth, no looking into comorbid conditions like eating disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, or just confusion about their sense of self.
Lesbians and Gay men are not allowed to have their own spaces anymore, everything must be trans inclusive. Refusing sex based on genitalia is transphobia. Butch lesbians and feminine gay men who aren't considering transitioning are also transphobic. Feminists fighting for women's rights must include trans women or they can be doxxed and threatened with no consequences for their stalkers. Trans rapists and killers are housed in the prison that aligns with their gender identity regardless of the safety risks they pose to other inmates.
Comparing the two, it's obvious that there is no trans genocide. That's a lie made up to excuse the bad actions of Trans Rights Activists.

The Treatment-Prevalence Paradox
More widely available treatment ought to abate the rate (and severity) of disease.
Take breast cancer, pitiless killer of over forty thousand American women each year. As early detection and treatment for breast cancer improved since 1989, rates of death from breast cancer plummeted. Or maternal mortality: as antibiotics became more readily available, rates of maternal death in childbirth collapsed. Better and more widely available dental care has meant fewer toothless Americans. And as we developed immunizations and cures for childhood illness, child mortality rates nose-dived.
And yet as treatments for anxiety and depression have become more sophisticated and more readily available, adolescent anxiety and depression have ballooned.
I’m not the only one to have found something fishy in the fact that more treatment has not resulted in less depression. A group of academic researchers recently noticed the same. They published a peer-reviewed paper titled “More Treatment but No Less Depression: The Treatment-Prevalence Paradox.” The authors note that treatment for major depression has become much more widely available (and, in their view, improved) since the 1980s worldwide. And yet in not a single Western country has this treatment made a dent in the incidence of major depressive disorder. Many countries saw an increase.
“The increased availability of effective treatments should shorten depressive episodes, reduce relapses, and curtail recurrences. Combined, these treatment advances unequivocally should result in lower point-prevalence estimates of depression,” they write. “Have these reductions occurred? The empirical answer clearly is NO.”
I checked with several of the paper’s authors. Two confirmed that the same might be said for anxiety. As treatment has become more widely available and dispersed, point-prevalence rates should go down. They have not. And while the authors admit that there was likely more depression in the past than we realized, they argue that there is at least as much, and probably more, depression now.
After generations of increased intervention, that shouldn’t be the case. More access to antibiotics should spell fewer deaths from infection. And more generally available therapy should spell less depression.
Instead, adolescent mental health has been in steady decline since the 1950s. Between 1990 and 2007 (before any teens had smartphones), the number of mentally ill children rose thirty-five-fold. And while overdiagnosis or the expansion of definitions of mental illness may partially account for this rapid change, it is hard to dismiss or contextualize away the startling rise in teen suicide: “Between 1950 and 1988, the proportion of adolescents aged between fifteen and nineteen who killed themselves quadrupled,” The New Yorker reported. Mental illness became the leading cause of disability in children.
Yes, the coincidence of these two trends—deteriorating mental health in an era of vastly expanded awareness, detection, diagnosis, and treatment of psychological disorders—may be just that: coincidence. It does not unveil a causal arrow. But it is peculiar. At the very least, it may provide a clue that many of the treatments and many of the helpers aren’t actually helping.

A Bit Of A Fixer-Upper
Series: Fluffy Faerie Tales
Fandom: Supernatural
Pairing: past Charlie Bradbury/Gilda, pre-Sastimmy/Jamstiel (Jimmy Novak/Sam Winchester/Castiel)
Rating: General
Tags/Warnings: Half-Fae Sam Winchester, Jimmy and Castiel Are Twins, Selkie Jack Kline, Sam Winchester Is Jack Kline's Adopted Father, Political Ramifications Of Magical Revelation, Autistic Cas and Jimmy, Supportive Charlie Bradbury, Sam Winchester Is The Best Boss Ever
Summary: Charlie Bradbury was a fixer, the kind of person who stuck it out in bad situations with needy people and tried to make things better. It wasn't much surprise that she would end up working for a half-faerie cafe owner who was exactly the same.
For: @fluffyfebruary challenge!
Prompt: Day 15: Craft
Read on AO3
CHARLIE BRADBURY WAS a fixer. It was in her nature to see a problem, come up with a solution or six, and then try and fix things. It was why she had lied about her age and education in order to get a job to help pay for her mother's cancer treatments when she was fourteen. It was why she had stuck it out in IT for years despite being vastly overqualified due to her abilities as a hacker. It was why she had stuck it out with her ex-girlfriend until it became abundantly obvious that, despite how much fun they had, they had wanted different things, and also why their breakup had been amicable enough to remain on friendly terms. It was how and why, when her hacking had turned up trails of corruption and embezzlement by her boss, she had contacted her ex who had put Charlie in touch with her cousin and she had gotten Dick Roman fae-cursed and sent to jail.
And it was why, when she had realized that the faerie who went by Sam and was willing to trade his cursing services for three days of help in the cafe he owned was trying to run a cafe by himself while also taking care of a small child? She had quit her IT job that she honestly hated more than she let on and moved across the country to become the first full time human employee at Lighthouse CommodiTeas. The cafe was not especially different from working IT, really, aside from her efforts to make a truly excellent cup of coffee earning much more appreciation and the lack of fear from assholish or abusive customers who threatened to have her fired if they didn't get their way. Sam had one rule for his cafe's customers, posted in plain sight for all to see and heed: be polite or else . Any dispute between Charlie and a rude, entitled customer had Sam fully on her side with no uncertainty thanks to his ability to tell when someone was lying, and the starting salary was $25 an hour on top of full coverage health and dental insurance which was unheard of in food service jobs run by humans!
When she had asked Sam why, he had shrugged. "I'm over fourteen hundred years old and have had plenty of time to amass a small personal fortune which I don't actually need much of to live simply and comfortably here in the mortal world. I have the cafe mostly to provide an employment history and proof of domicile for my son's school and to give me something to do day to day that keeps me in touch with the mortal world and the times. Since I'm independently wealthy, don't bother drawing more than a nominal salary from the cafe earnings for myself, which leaves plenty to pay any employees I might acquire a perfectly livable wage for the area after purchasing ingredients and disposable stock like the custom cups and paper napkins. Paying you a livable wage reduces your stress from worrying how to afford things like rent, utilities, and food, which means you're more relaxed and able to work the hours you need while still getting the breaks you need to remain healthy and happy working here. Frankly, I thought the logic was obvious. It's bizarre that so many human employers don't see it that way."
It was hard to argue with that, as a couple customers who tried to berate Charlie for "laziness" when she was on break found out. He wasn't wrong, either, which tended to frustrate the real douchebags who were unfortunately still smart enough to escape before magic got involved. But Charlie had since learned that many of the small businesses on Seven Mile Island, especially in the borough of Avalon, followed that same salary practice. When she had mentioned that to Sam, he had smiled fondly and only said, "Imagine that."
Rowena MacLeod, the proprietor of The Kitchen Witch who, it turned out, was also an actual witch, was more forthcoming.
"Samuel is a more influential person on this community than he is quite willing to admit, and there is a remarkably large number of magicals here," she had told Charlie, sipping at the cup of tea Charlie had brought her from the cafe as a bribe for a chat. "Regardless of what he may believe his motives were for choosing to move here with his son and open the cafe, he is of the Fair Folk. Magic calls to magic, and for all his skill in battle magics his fundamental nature is remarkably... kind. The man wants to help people, but he doesn't think most humans will trust a faerie to help them outright. And, I'm sad to say, he is frequently correct."
It made sense, when Charlie thought about it. Sam was a fixer, like her, and with far more power than she had, but limited in how he could fix things by his own nature and the mistrust of the wider human populace still getting used to the idea that magicals existed alongside them. Charlie hadn't even been born when the Magical Revelation occurred, but learning about it in school had been a frustrating mix of religious fear mongering and nationalist propaganda. She had learned a lot more actual facts about it all from her various coworkers in IT, particularly Ian who had claimed to have hacked the Pentagon and found reports about a treaty made with the United Nations and the Grand Coven headed by...
Rowena had smiled at Charlie's very wide eyes, patted her on the hand, and gotten up to return to the open kitchen behind the bar. Reeling from her own realization, and just a little turned on, Charlie had decided then and there that she was going to do everything in her own limited human power to help her new boss and brother she never had fix as much of the world as came their way to be fixed.
Case in point: Cas and Jimmy Novak.
It wasn't that there was anything wrong with them. Frankly, they were more well-adjusted than some of Charlie's old coworkers had been. The codependency had been a little concerning at first, but it was understandable considering their history and the way they had both developed their coping strategies. It had actually taken the whole first week that the twins had been working at the cafe before Charlie had realized that Jimmy was also autistic, just better at masking than Cas was. That was also when she had realized that the pair really wanted to stay on and didn't know how to bring it up.
So she did it herself. She started by honestly telling them within Sam's hearing how much more smoothly things had been going with the both of them on staff with her and the boss, and how well they fit into the controlled chaos of the cafe. She complimented the cookies Cas had made - seriously, they were amazing - and theorized that if the cafe started selling them they'd bring in even more business, especially from people who'd been frustrated by the lack of food available before because Charlie couldn't bake to save her life and it wasn't safe for Sam to make the food and risk the magical backlash of a human eating faerie-made food in a faerie's domain. And she had casually mentioned that her apartment building in Ocean City had finally cleared out the apartment two doors down from her since the previous tenant had been arrested three weeks ago.
Sam wasn't the least bit surprised when she requested one of her paid time off days coinciding with Cas's first Thursday off so she could take him grocery shopping. Cas was surprised, and just a little wary, but Charlie was patient and persistent, and eventually he relaxed around her. It took some more careful questions amid her asking about his and Jimmy's respective sensory issues as related to food to learn about his stimming and the ring Jimmy wore, and why Jimmy was the one to wear the ring Cas used to stim.
It gave her an idea, piggybacked off of the project she had helped Jack with the previous December. There was a lot more effort involved, keeping the beads smooth and the various strips of leather soft while keeping the runes she consulted with Rowena on and carved into the surface clear. She worked on it secretly for a week and eventually brought it with her, wrapped in a scrap of leftover newspaper, to present to Cas on Monday morning. The look on his face when he saw the swirling blue and white lapis and shimmering black and gold obsidian beads knotted up in black leather cord and woven with the thicker black leather rune-carved bands was gratifyingly awed.
"It's not a replacement for your primary anchor," she assured them both. "The runic spell just bolsters calm; it doesn't suppress anxiety. I just figured maybe it could help when you have your respective days off. Just give it a try today while you're both here then see if it'll help tomorrow."
"And what do you want in exchange?" Cas whispered, running his fingers testingly over the beads.
"I," Charlie reminded him with a beaming smile, "am not a faerie."

Children's Dentist
A children's dentist is an expert in treating children's oral problems. They provide children with preventive treatment, address dental problems, and advance the youngsters' intellectual and physical growth. Children's dentists are also known as pediatric dentists. This field of employment is extremely specialized and calls for specialized training. The following procedures are usually carried out by a pediatric dentist.
A pediatric dentist looks after children's teeth and gums while also educating parents on the importance of providing their kids with the best dental treatment. Along with taking care of your child's dental health, they will also teach you about bad behaviours and provide food suggestions. This is important because what you give your child may eventually affect how their permanent teeth erupt.
The most current advancements in pediatric dentistry will also be known to pediatric dentists. For example, research has shown that the natural sugar substitute xylitol can aid in protecting your teeth from decay and harmful bacteria. Your kid can benefit from this new knowledge and the most up-to-date techniques for problem diagnosis by visiting a pediatric dentist on a regular basis.
In addition to what they learned in dental school, many pediatric dentists have extra training. They can learn more about the needs of infants as a result. They can provide better patient treatment and eliminate the stigma attached to visiting the dentist, thanks to their specialization in pediatric dentistry. As a consequence, there is a high demand for pediatric dentists.
To become a pediatric dentist, you must finish specialized training. Dental schools usually demand a two- to three-week rotation in pediatric clinics. You get hands-on practice treating babies and kids during this rotation in pediatric dentistry. Regularly taking board-review classes and staying current on industry changes are also prerequisites for continuing education.
A pediatric dentist is one who specializes in the oral health needs of minors. Following dental school, these dentists will finish an additional two or three years of specialized training. They might even seek board certification to prove their expertise in pediatric dentistry. Whatever strategy a juvenile dentist uses, it's important to have tolerance, empathy, and knowledge of children's concerns.
A juvenile dentist is a dentist who treats young patients. They are trained to recognize and treat a wide range of dental illnesses. Kids are frequently more prone to dental decay, so a pediatric dentist can help you decide the best course of action for your child's care. There are many benefits to visiting a youth dentist. You can save a lot of money if you first pay for the required treatment.
For pediatric dentists, attending an accredited dentistry school is a requirement. They must then complete a two- to three-year residency school and obtain board certification after that. Students in this school will study cutting-edge medical subjects like oral surgery, anesthesia, and sophisticated life-saving techniques.
A variety of crucial procedures are performed for young patients by pediatric dentists. These treatments are necessary for children because they frequently have decayed or missing teeth. They may fill cavities with a variety of materials to prevent them from extending to neighbouring teeth. Silver amalgam and ceramic porcelain are two common filling materials.
An occasional molar extraction may be necessary for a child. If the child has serious tooth decay, a filling or crown won't be enough to fix the problem. To straighten a permanent tooth, it might occasionally be necessary to extract a molar. These operations, which were formerly known as "pulp treatments," are frequently carried out following a serious accident or extensive tooth decay.
To help your kid feel more at ease during the procedure, a pediatric dentist may choose to administer anesthesia. The child's comfort level and medical history are usually taken into account when deciding on the best course of action. Pediatric dentists occasionally use nitrous oxide, also known as "laughing gas," which is given via a mask put over the child's nostrils. Nitrous oxide and oxygen both assist the infant in breathing through their nose while the sedative soothes their nerves.
Pediatric dentists must also have emotional intelligence and experience dealing with anxious patients and concerned parents. Parents are frequently the primary source of children's dental anxiety, so pediatric dentists must be able to put kids at ease. When working with children who have high levels of anxiety, mental health experts must frequently consult one another about the most effective ways to manage their patients.
The anxiety about the procedure is increased by the fact that some children fear visiting the doctor. By directing a child's behaviour and lowering the possibility of injury, sedation can help reduce this worry. Additionally, it may be advantageous for kids with particular needs.

Hey folks!
Just saying that Brazil is the first country to be accepting LGBTQ refugees from any country that criminalize our lives. Yes, this include USA.
This was announced yesterday (may 19).
So... We are here with open arms. This is not an easy country for a lot of things, but we have:
Universal public health
General practitioner, vaccines, AIDS treatment, most common medicines are free or cheap, specialists, dental treatment... Including gender affirming care - there are queues, but it exist.
We have one of the world best dentistry.
Its still starting, but a lot of cities already have veterinary public health, or subsided vets to at least spay/neuter your pets.
Birthing is complicated in general, but there are some free options that are really good.
We don't have an opium crisis and our government break patents of medicines when needed. Insulin is free in the public health system. Condoms too.
Abortion is a current fighting matter.
Public education and universities
Public schools are everywhere. And every school will grant you and kids the basic things like notebooks, pencils, pens, etc, and books. Every school have a library or reading room, the government send new fiction books to schools.
Food is free in public schools, and in the majority of the places, good food. Even if most schools have the kids for 4 or 5 hours, not the entire day, there will be free lunch.
Our educational system is universal, so by law, every child and teen must be studying, disabled kids included.
If you cannot pass the tests for a public college, there are paid colleges you can go with government subsidy, and no one left college with an absurd debt. I mean, really. There are special credit lines to grant that. And the prejudice against community colleges is minimal. Its absolutely common that people work at day and go to college in the night shift.
Black and indigenous people have further affirmative policies to go and stay at college.
Unions and workers rights
Our president used to be an union leader. Even with the recent shit show (we had our own trump/jonhson like asshole) , unions are very present and we have LAWS that protect workers. Including 30 days of paid vacation every year, paid weekend, 50% extra payment for working more than 8 hours day or Sundays, 30% more per hour worked at night, social security services, paid health leave, and retirement.
We have a lot of shit going on in work environment, but unions grant lawyers to help, and everything in our work conditions is better than in USA.
Leftist parties and an almost fair voting system.
Almost because Im an anarchist so, every voting system to me is flawed as fuck BUT how far a voting system can go, Brazilians have the best option.
We have a lot of parties, both left and right. You dont have only two options. We have not one, but two communist party. Our socialist party have a huge queer presence. The presidency now is at the Workers Party hands, a left-centered bunch. I think they are not left enough, but our left center party is still much more to the left than any american party.
Our democracy is direct, every vote have the same value, there are not delegates and caucus and such stuff. Every adult need to vote, so your work cannot stop you from voting. There is one election day, its a holiday because everybody votes in the same day, from 8 am to 6 pm. Since the system is electronic, the same night we have the results.
Also, States are not independent to decide most of things. The laws are federal, so there's a consistency in rights and such things.
The greatest variety of foods
And even if inflation because our last government is still a thing, so food right now is not exactly cheap, we don't have food shortages.
There are no food deserts. Fresh food is easily available, and our climate is good to grow food at home.
In general, Brazilians have much more healthier food accessible than USAians.
And in big cities we have government programs and the MST (our Liga campesina) to help.
Guns are mostly illegal
Yes, thats what you read. We have huge gun control.
There are no school shootings. We had a few school incidents (big part of it with mellee weapons and not guns) by alt right men, but every single one was treated as a national tragedy and there's a real effort so that it don't happen again. In 20 years, we didn't had the amount of shootings that happens in a week in the USA.
Federal investigations of hate groups are happening constantly.
I could go on and on. And yes, we have problems, as any other country. But if you have the chance, come. We have our xenophobes, but mostly is a country that receive well the refugees. We have several organizations that help people to get on their feet. Caritas have even Portuguese classes specially developed for refugees.
There is racism, a lot, but it's very different than in USA, so it will take sone time to figure out wtf.
And we have A LOT of affirmative actions for minorities. We have a strong and huge queer community (better saying, various huge queer communities).
São Paulo Pride parade receives more than 1 million people.
And 1 dolar = 4 or 5 reais. Even if you don't have much money, this will make easier to you start a new life here.

At What Age Should a Child Have Their First Dental Visit?
The first dental visit for a child is an important milestone in their oral health journey. It helps establish a foundation for proper dental care and ensures early detection of any potential issues. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) recommends that a child should visit a pediatric dentist by their first birthday or within six months after their first tooth erupts. This initial dental visit is commonly known as a "well-baby check-up" for the mouth.
Finding a reliable dental clinic and a qualified pediatric dentist is crucial for the child's dental care. For example, Gugu Dental Clinics in Coimbatore (Gugu Dental Clinics) offers specialized pediatric dental services and a team of experienced dentists who cater to children's oral health needs.
During the first dental visit, the pediatric dentist will focus on educating parents about proper oral hygiene, dietary habits, and addressing any concerns they may have. The dentist will perform a thorough examination of the child's mouth to check for any abnormalities, tooth decay, or gum issues. They may also discuss topics such as fluoride use, teething, and the importance of a healthy diet.
In some cases, a pediatric dentist may recommend preventive treatments such as dental sealants to protect the child's teeth from cavities. Sealants act as a barrier against bacteria and food particles, particularly on the chewing surfaces of molars.
If a child experiences dental problems like tooth decay, the pediatric dentist may provide treatments such as fillings, root canals, or tooth extractions. It's essential to address these issues promptly to prevent further complications and maintain the child's oral health.
Pediatric dentists have specialized training and expertise in dealing with children's dental needs. They create a friendly and welcoming environment to ensure children feel comfortable during their dental visits. Pediatric dental clinics often have child-friendly amenities and decorations to create a positive experience.
As a child grows, regular dental check-ups are crucial for monitoring their oral development. The pediatric dentist will assess the eruption of permanent teeth, monitor the alignment of the jaw and bite, and provide guidance on orthodontic treatment if necessary.
In addition to dental visits, parents play a vital role in their child's oral health. They should encourage regular brushing with a fluoride toothpaste, teach proper brushing techniques, and supervise the child's brushing until they can do it independently. Limiting sugary snacks and drinks, along with maintaining a balanced diet, also contributes to good dental health.
It's important to note that each child is unique, and their dental needs may vary. Therefore, it's recommended to consult with a pediatric dentist, such as those at Gugu Dental Clinics in Coimbatore, to determine the best dental care plan for the child.
In conclusion, a child's first dental visit should occur by their first birthday or within six months after their first tooth appears. This visit helps establish a foundation for oral health, provides guidance to parents, and ensures early detection of any dental issues. Finding a reputable pediatric dental clinic, such as Gugu Dental Clinics in Coimbatore, is essential for specialized pediatric dental care. By following the guidance of a pediatric dentist and maintaining good oral hygiene habits, parents can set their child on the path to a lifetime of healthy smiles.
