Love to see women remain unbothered and detached to the opinions of bitter people aiming to shame them.
It’s really about having the mindset of “Your opinions of me are none of my business and I’ll continue to flourish whether you approve or not.”
This unshakable confidence is what i love to see women live by.

really wish that when a person of a certain mental illness/chronic illness/neurodivergence/etc. told you what they needed that ppl would listen instead of going of off a “Well Statistically People Like You Need-” crap or whatever

“Don’t make me get violent.”
(A/N: This came to me so suddenly while I was listening to Violent by carolesdaughter for the first time. It’s kind of rushed and probably out of character and I may edit later but her you all go. Also I intended to make the violence more graphic but I wanted to keep it detahced and I’m not that good at wrting graphic violence yet.)
under the cut due to length (733 words)
Summary: Chuuya’s journey into savagery after Dazai leaves the Mafia. (Kind of an AU I guess)
Chuuya’s Perspective
Everything is going to be different now. They’ll give me some new partner. I’ll get my pick, but I already know none of them will compare, no matter how good they are. None of them will be him. He’s gone, leaving problems in his wake like usual. And I don’t even have the energy to hate him anymore.
Alarms are going off, blazing red but I can’t make myself move. They’ll come and get me if I’m really needed. I just sip my wine and watch the sunset. Red, orange and yellow like the flames that consumed my car as he walked out on me. I guess it’s good because I would’ve gone after him, and he knew it. Not now though, now I can’t imagine even bothering to leave my office for him, I know I would though. I’d still do anything for him, if I thought it would make him come back and I hate it, but I don’t.
Everything moves in slow motion as the door shudders and falls in. 10 men sloppily thrown together black tactical gear. They wear patches with letter E’s spray painted on them. A wannabe terrorist group, I don’t care. I couldn’t bring myself to listen in the last meeting. It doesn’t matter who they were, because they’re here now, and they’re going to die. (It’s bound to end this way, it always does, canvas stained in some shade of red.)
I get up slowly, giving them a chance to run, “Don’t make me get violent.” It comes out as a sigh.
They start shooting. Round after round until the floor is made of spent shell casing. It does nothing as my instincts kick in. For me it happens in slow motion, I watch numbly, as another version of myself charges the naive boys. They’re down before they can fight back.
I watch as I don’t stop.
One of them moves slightly and I kick him back down and keep kicking him, until we’re both stained red and there isn’t a single bone in his body left to break.
I’m not done, they disturbed my only peace and now they’re going to die, every last one of them. It isn’t rage that fills me, just an empty hole, growing larger, leaving nothing, looking to be filled. And these deaths have to be personal, because he left me and these boys “terrorists” are still here, causing me trouble. I want him to be causing me trouble. (But now I’m alone and it’s too peaceful, too quiet, too still, too empty.) I take the nearest and twist his limbs in funny directions until I hear the snaps, and then I keep twisting. Chunks of flesh fall to the ground with wet squelches, splashing the room in red. Spilt wine.
I just want to finish my wine. When they no longer resemble humans I come back to myself. Staring at the wreckage around me. The room is tinted red but I know the mangled lumps won’t disturb me again.
My hands are painted red and sticky and leave smeared fingerprints on the bottle. My reflection is savage against the darkening sky. But I can’t make myself care.
A groan of satisfaction leaves my lips as I sip my wine. I taste the red alcohol, strangely metallic, corrupted by the rusty scent of the room, but it’s not bad. It’s refreshing. And for the first time since he left I can see colour again.
I sit back down, leaning back in my chair, my bloodied feet over the bloodied desk. A fine day in a fine city. I don’t need him, if I can have this, this I can live with. If the way to feel something again is violence then so be it.
And even when they come in to clean it up the shock and horror on their faces, it will all be worth it. I know it will. Are you happy with what you’ve done, Dazai Osamu? I am.

Sounds of the Studio - The Vinyl Sessions
I was born in the 1970's and discovered music properly in the 1980's. The music format of choice for the general populous was vinyl, but in time that became displaced by tapes (thanks largely to the walkman), and then CD's. Then for a long period of time CD's dominated and people dumped their vinyl collections in favour of the "purer sounding" CD.
The internet launched, Apple created iTunes and the MP3 was created, and Napster and piracy went into overdrive with no barrier to distribution. And while people were not prepared to pay for music, they would pay (or at least accept hearing the odd advert) for convenience and so in the late noughties the streaming services came into existence and within a short decade ha dcompletely turned the music industry on it's head once again.
However, music and the music experience had along the way become commoditised and somehow less valuable. Along with immediacy and the algorithims, the investment in time, and the emotional attachment to music had become diluted.
But then something strange started to happen. Vinyl sales started to grow. People had begun to realise that the detahcment from the music came from the format of delivery and wanted to reconnect with music like they used to. And whole sales are still dwarfed by the hayday of the 70's and 80's, Vinyl sales have overtaken where they were at the tail end of the 1980's when the CD revolution had really begun.
Tumblr media
Why this brief (and perhaps slightly inaccurate) history lesson? Well despite working for the big green streaming machine for 7.5 years and having a wonderful experience working there, I recently too found myself identifying my detachment from music. I've come to learn that my relationship with music has become far less deep and invested than it used to be. I think it's because I finally have a place where, away from the maddening crowd of the bustling home life, I have this sanctuary and the opportunity to once again bask in music.
I have my original Arcam 7R amp from the 1990's and have reclaimed my Denon-835 CD Player from my parents who no longer use their stereo, but as much as I enjoyed listening to CD's again, there was something missing that I couldn't quite put my finger on (at least until I heard what it was I wasn't hearting) and started to research turntables.
Purchasing turntables is a risky affair because if you're not careful you can either blow the budget entirely on the initial purchase, or you can end up in a never-ending cycle of upgrades which just blows your budget over time instead.
So I set myself a ballpark budget of "up to" £500 and started my research which honestly whittled the chpice down to 2 turntables. The Rega Planer 2 and the Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Evo.
Reading the reviews it felt like the Rega got better reviews when it came to sound quality, but there were significantly more stories of the turntable breaking and requiring fixing that really stood out, so product quality was a concern for me.
Additionally, the need to change the drive belt to switch from 33 to 45 seemed like a hassle I wanted to avoid, especially as I did plan to be buying a few singles as part of my collection.
The Rega also came with a lower spec cartridge which would mean an upgrade was on the card sooner rather than later, whereas the Pro-Ject came with the Omron Red cartridge which seemd, from the reviews, to be a perfect starter cartridge that might have more life then the unit that came on the Rega deck.
The final straw was the fact that the Pro-Ject deck comes in many different colours and finished (matt and gloss) and since I was keen for the deck to stand out a little, I felt myself leaning to the Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Evo in Satin Blue.
Tumblr media
The deck was a breeze to put together (even for a luddite like me) as I was able to follow the clearly laid out illustrations, and it really looks the part.
The first vinyl I bought was "Is this the life we really want" by Roger Waters, of Pink Floyd fame. What was immediately apparent was the breadth and depth of the musical soundscape that the vinyl offered over the streaming service, and even over the CD.
Putting the album on all 3 sources and then switching between the sources on the amp was really eye ear opening. The vinyl sounds lush and it breathes and immerses you in a way that streaming or the CD simply don't.
In this video I start with Vinyl, more to CD and then finally onto the streaming service. It's certainly clear to me in reality. Not sure how this transposes through my mobile phone recording but here we go anyway.
This isn't a review of that album as I'll be reviwing the albums and singles I buy on vinyl and reviewing them seperately.
Anyhow, I’m now firmly committed to the vinyl world and really enjoying rediscovering how music can make me feel.

so much of richard burton’s delivery on the twotw 1978 album is unintentionally hilarious. he’s so unimpressed with everyone and everything. the particular way he says ‘good heavens, the artilleryman’ still kills me, it’s literally the politest possible way of saying ‘not THIS tool again’

Project 6 - Other Home
The agent for the other home is the laundromat. This self-sufficient program embodies domesticity and independence. It doesn’t need a manager, it doesn’t need a caretaker and it doesn’t need someone to watch over it 24/7, it is independent. This makes it the ideal agent to pair with the other home which attempts to do the same.
The agent in the city sits at the front of the dwelling and appears detached but instead it is used by the user as their own laundry and bathroom. However In the domestic low rise living beyond the Hoddle grid, the agent occurs through re-use of open, existing spaces such as median strips and refugee islands which are commonly uncovered space within the inner suburbs. The apartment is revealed and becomes the ideal of the laundromat, a independent detahced dwelling where the domestic setting and autonomous character still binds these two programs together. The sicllion and solar panelled roof that shelters the home creates the new environment and demonstrates its ability to live under its own power, a common trait found in its occupant but also the laundromat.

The window and its blind are the tools that are used to engage the user with the renewed world.
As it sits facing the street opening the living room, the occupant sits gazing out, enjoying the warm air and chatting to frequent users of the laundromat or average people going for their exercise. The living arrangement is focused on the other home being disconnected from the other apartments thus independence being a focal point. I believe this gives the user and the other the opportunity to interact and engage.

Agree with all the Jeff/Logan similarities and why they'd likely result in them clashing and competing rather than connecting :) It's funny how even their excessive fondness for scotch is something they have in common! I do think Jeff is more vulnerable/sensitive/damaged than Logan, and therefore his confidence is more feigned than legit. Logan also makes no secret of his desire to be close to (certain!) people, while Jeff defensively pretends to be more detahced.
Jeff is a 6′4″ insecurity! E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G. that is Logan would by Jeff’s kryptonite. Logan is persistent, though. If he saw “the thing” in Jeff that the study group sees in him, Logan would find an angle to befriend him. I JUST KNOW IT.

Do all modular houses look the same?
Contrary to common misconceptions, modular houses do not look exactly the same. Modular houses have no design restrictions. You can create any style of modular house, whether it is a traditional central hall or a Mediterranean house. You can add any style of windows or architectural details you want. Almost all houses can be turned into modular houses, and you can create your own ideal house.
How to assemble a modular house?
The factory-built houses were initially completed in an indoor factory. The completed parts are transported to the construction site and then assembled by crane. This process is similar to a children's building with Lego bricks. The modular house cannot be moved after being placed and placed on its foundation.
If you are designing your own house, be sure to ask specific questions, because each manufacturer’s operating guidelines are different. Modular houses provide hundreds of personalized features, including (but not limited to) ceramic floors, solid surface countertops, various cabinet styles and wood types, exterior finishes, sanitary ware, etc. You can fundamentally customize your house.
Are modular houses more expensive than houses built on site?
Prefab houses can usually save you a lot of money. Since they are built in a factory, they can be built quite quickly-weeks instead of months, because there is no weather delay. In addition, all inspections are carried out in the factory by third-party inspectors at each stage of construction and are completed before the house is transported to its permanent location.
However, it must be noted that the more complex the design and specifications, the higher the cost of your house. Electrical, plumbing and plumbing works are usually not included in the initial price, so the final cost may be 20% higher than the builder's quote. You may also need to install a septic tank system, natural gas or basement. These will also increase your bottom line.
Are modular houses suitable for ADU?
From a construction perspective, it is more suitable for Detahced's ADU construction, especially in areas with high living costs such as the Bay Area and LA, where time is a very important measure. High rent costs make home owners choose modular houses as a major factor. Another thing to note is that the construction site must have enough space.
Recommendation: Before making a decision, communicate with the manufacturers of modular houses in detail, and conduct in-depth consultations on the design of the house, material costs, construction costs, transportation costs and after-sales service.
If you want to know more, please contact us: modular house factory.

Hello!
secretive in their motives and mind, moody in nature, one moment their are full on intense and the next they can appear detahced and very objective, selects people to let in, could react very sensitive when it comes to their privacy, doing their thing is highkey important, could have a very fun, yet odd side to them, probably has a lots of niche interest, self rigteous
