So considering what we know about Chima and the Wyldness and all that blah blah blah, I wonder if after the Merge, a group of Serpentine, maybe a few hundred, would've ventured to the Wyldness to try reconnect with their ancient roots (given the hypothesized idea of the FSM bringing the Serpentine from Chima/the Wyldness.)

I can imagine maybe they find the ancient remains of Serpentine lands, maybe there exists modern day Serpentine in the Wyldness who evolved differently from the ones we know due to conditions, and thus work in different ways from OUR Serpentine.

Maybe the reason Ninjago Serpentine are divided as Tribes has something to do with the Ancient Ways once spoken of centuries ago by their ancient ancestors, back when the Tribes were different animal species, not Serpentine species.

Khu’s leaked that we might be getting another Pokémon game this next year and istg it had better not be Unova games (mainly because that breaks the remake pattern of all remakes except Gen 1 because that would be redundant being in the generation exactly double the original generation but also partly because Johto still hasn’t been revisited since gen 4)

If it somehow is Unova I’m saying Gen 10 came a game or two early fuck you. And I’ll still be making the nonsensical “I guess Game Freak prefers the Neo Swords to the Proto Beasts” jokes I would’ve made if Unova games of any kind were announced without also giving Johto any love on Pokémon Day 2024

Even if she did, her organs would no longer be able to function well on their own. She’d be hooked to support equipment for the rest of her life.

It’d be expensive to keep her alive. She’d require assistance for everything — from eating to going to the bathroom.

There’d be no point for her mother to live, they tell her.

It’s with deep regret that they advice Chiyori to cease the life support that’s been keeping her mother artificially alive all these years.

In the end, Chiyori decides to unplug.

Rotating Samira's sect like a rotisserie chicken in my mind. I think they have assorted rules about makeup. I'm sure a lot of people have their own assorted headcanons, but I like to think that they can vary by sect. Samira's is a little more involved and things heavily depend on things like rank and connection. I'll break things down using her as a perspective character.

She absolutely must wear her makeup around the general public. If she isn't wearing makeup, she's wearing a big hat with a veil attached to it to hide her face. Her general look and the veiling are also acceptable when she's working.

It's okay to be bare around her hive, clade, and certain mentors as an act of vulnerability. Samira personally pushes things a bit by also being bare faced around the very tiny handful of close friends she has, but only indoors.

She has a look for significant/formal events and performances. As well as one that's only seen by her ancestor and in private meetings with significant higher ups in her sect. If she were to get in some kind of trouble, she is made to remove her makeup in front of them as a way to literally strip her down and shame her. This has never happened to her. Yet.

There's a look for when she's attending sermons, but the sect allows one to sport their general paint as well.

The only acceptable circumstances in which someone could go bare outside of the usual accepted times are when it's needed for things like work, espionage, emergencies, etc.

This sect is also known to have members that will use their own blood as paint when in a rush or without their makeup nearby.

I hate Emmett on “The Chi” 😒but after season 6 this show is boring it have no plot and it’s stupid!! I’m so annoyed that I am so invested in some characters that I keep watching even tho it’s soo corny no character development! The Chi needs to cancelled.

hi omg ! i think lim answered this pretty well but i have a reading list for him with recs and stuff if you need it lol

i think the main thing i’d say abt him is that he contrasts the main person in the room a bit. so if the other person is serious he’ll turn lighthearted, if they’re not then he’ll act more stern, stuff like that. that mostly applies to people he doesn’t know well though so

overall he’s like. a bit of a generic isekai-esque protag (to me at least) so that with a few lameguy elements and power of good/self-deprecating internal monologues and you’ve got him

i dont really like the romance plot and i hate everytime theyre like 'ermmm.... maou-san!!! youre with... another lady !?!?!?' girl Shut Up. and thats even ignoring the fact that one of the love interests is like 15 and maou is explicitly an adult and im like. squints eyes. everytime emilia is like 'we're not a couple stop saying that!!!!' is also a little annoying but its just miles less annoying than everytime they pull the former but tbh its probably not the show since a lot of people seem to like that part i think i just dont like romance plots
