After Azran Legacy Descole was left with a lot of clothes, personal items, and various souvenir trinkets left behind by the other former passengers of the Bostonious none of which was ever properly retrieved due to the groups sudden parting.

Rather than throwing it all out Descole has been trying to covertly return all items back to their original owners and because it’s Descole he’s probably returning the objects and whatnot in the most complicated way possible over a period of time.

Auroras stuff in particular remains safely stored in a box on the Bostonious.

So I rewatched Yuukaku episode 9 for depression science reasons and I noticed something interesting :

When Inosuke uses the "Explosive Rush" in the battle against Daki, while Tanjiro and Zenitsu are covering him, he doesn't use his usual "kiba/fang" before the attack's name. He actually says "hachi no kata", instead of "hachi no kiba" as he would usually say.

The only usual occurence of this happens when he uses the seventh, "Spatial Awareness", which is always a "form" and not a "fang" (the wiki has that listed correctly too). I assumed that was intentional from Inosuke, because that form is the only part of Beast Breathing that isn't meant for attack, so it would make sense that he sets it apart from the rest. The eight one, however, ought to be always be fang because it's probably the most beastly one of all, where Inosuke rushes headlong without a care for the enemy's attacks.

So why would he call it a "form" here? Why would he suddenly revert to the word that every other slayer uses, when he's always so proud of being different from the rest of them?

I believe that it's all in the context. Never before has Inosuke so voluntarily entrusted his life to someone else, let alone to two humans. At this very moment, Inosuke entirely lowers his guard so he can focus on only one thing: attack, attack, attack. His life is out of his own hands.

He is one of them. He's a member of the Corps, he's a member of a crew. Zenitsu and Tanjiro are not only his underlings, they are his comrades. His trusted companions.

Inosuke doesn't feel the urge to set himself apart. If anything, he desperately, more than ever before in his life, need to belong. He's spent the entire battle hearing about their forms, and all of a sudden, when teamwork has never mattered more and he's launching an attack alongside his two best friends, simultaneously... he doesn't need to set himself apart anymore. And that's how his subconcious brings forth a form rather than a fang at this specific moment. He reverts to a fang right after, when he reaches Daki's neck.

Either that, or his voice actor got confused. We'll never know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Lord knows I've been making my displeasure about Palworld known on Twitter, but I honestly wouldn't even care that much if not for the narratives people create around it. First off is the "Game Freak needs competition, they haven't been challenged since the early 2000's" which is already untrue (What is Yo-Kai Watch? Chopped liver?), but an especially bizarre argument with all the other indie games out there. I'd rather any of those games become Pokemon's main rival over Palworld because there's good things Game Freak could take from that competition to better themselves and the monster-collecting ecosystem as a whole

The second argument is that "This is the Pokemon game Pokemon fans have been waiting for" which makes me want to scream. Pokemon Legend Arceus and Pokemon SV are far from perfect games, but I like the direction the franchise is heading in (If they're ever given enough staff and development time that is). Personally the Pokemon game I've been waiting for would be to take the best parts of those games and combine them into something greater than the sum of its parts... Not ARK: Breath of the Wild starring AK-47 Pikachu, I can't even imagine the cynical ass mind that thinks that's a step in the right direction. If Game Freak drops whatever their working on to make Palworld: No Guns Edition that would be the thing that finally makes me ashamed to call myself a Pokemon fan

As her gaze found her daughter across the room once again, still happy, still safe, reassurance and relief curved red painted lips into a gentle smile. Bisca settled her hands on her hips, returning her attention back to the request board.

Following the war, people needed more help than ever, and not so coincidently, her bank account similarly needed help, so there was hardly time to rest. She skimmed the myriad of flyers pinned to the wall, attentive eyes searching for a job or two that would suit her skills or that of her dear Alzack. Tracking monsters or people, they were her preferred requests and ones she was well suited for, yet she would take on anything that she could manage safely. While in the past, she’d itched for challenging requests, adventures and fun, she now valued her family, and the promise of returning to them, more than any thrill.

Plum coloured eyes settled on a particular request. Help! Stop the bandit! The bold print was eye-catching to be sure, but it was the word bandit that held her focus. Before joining Fairy Tail, she’d been a bandit herself, a reckless thief and raider, and an arrogant one at that. Although ashamed of that time in her life, the memory did bring about a slight smile, as she recalled the turning point that brought her to where she was now. Perhaps this job would cast her as the turning point in this bandit’s life, where Erza had been it for her.

She didn’t hold out any hope or expectation for such an outcome, it would be enough just to stop the troublesome outlaw. People had been through enough without having some crook taking what little they had, she wouldn’t stand for it, especially due to her own experiences in recent years, the tough times and struggle to survive.

Decision made, she freed the relevant form from the board.

It was time to get work.

natsuki hcs? natsuki hcs!-- 1) her dad is more just very neglectful then outright physically abusive, as is it implied in act two--he's either drunk or asleep, leaving natsuki to fend for herself around the house. cleaning, cooking, etc. he works an graveyard shift, and does bring home some money, but it's almost never used on food or supplies, sadly. 1.5) when her and her dad do speak, it is brief and tense, and he's often too out of it to even really realize who she is, often calling her the wrong name entirely. he wasn't like this until after her mother's death as a young child. 2) she has a older sister, keiko, who ran away from home a few years back, unable to take their living situation any longer. they are not in contact, and while natsuki Gets It, she does resent her sister a bit for leaving her behind. 3) her hair is actually dyed pink, her original hair color is a very light blonde--she dyed it to hopefully catch her dad's attention, even if it ended up with her getting yelled at. he didn't notice. 4) in lighter news, is a cosplay, and fashion nerd in general! sews up costumes and different outfits via her own old clothes, hand-me-downs from cousins and the like, and stuff her friends have given her. would totally love to go to a convention, if she could afford it. hides this stuff from her dad, though. 5) she smokes, sometimes. a habit she picked up from a mix of being around her dad who smokes and getting curious, and old friends that do it, too, that got her into it.

Nikolai is perfectly apt, and he could easily become the relevant point of comparison for anyone who wishes to become healthier and requires a goal to look up to while doing so. Despite his risky lifestyle, his constant contact with poisons and weapons and his tendency for harmful behaviors, Nikolai could never be healthier than he currently is. He tends to train often, exercising every day, and he has no vices (ex. drinking, smoking etc) to speak of, so his organs are all in flawless condition as well. His constitution is especially noteworthy, particularly at the prime of his life, as he hasn't caught a single cold even after living in the harshest of climates. He could, and did, go for a swim in the Lake Baikal during winter months to test and expand his limits, and has emerged from the experience without having sniffled even once. Because of this, he doesn't bother meeting up with physicians nor doctors of any kind, and typically doesn't care to check his physical health with a professional.

Ango, on the other hand, arranges appointments with physicians and doctors from various fields every six months, to make sure his health hasn't yet deteriorated beyond repair. Unlike Nikolai, Ango's body is much more fragile, catching a cold whenever the temperature drops or rises significantly from one day to the next. Moreover, Ango's stressful lifestyle and tendency towards overworking consistently endangers his health, at times requiring him to take medication to deal with the unwanted consequences. The medication is usually aimed at keeping his heart working as intended, since the stress, severe lack of sleep, dubious choices of food and biological factors all lead to irregular heartbeats and frequent heart stings. It isn't a life-threatening condition for now, but it is a bother and definitely a concern. Besides this, Ango also necessitates meds for headaches every so often, but has learned how to ignore that pain, leading to a reduction in the amount of pills he takes for this purpose. Ango is frankly every doctor's nightmare patient, because he rarely adheres strictly to their advice and always wounds up right back in their office, generally in a worse condition than he'd been before.

i'm watching the star wars original trilogy (i've literally only ever seen episode iv once before years ago) and these movies are so funny (bizarre, not really haha)

they start with a wall of text of, like, necessary exposition. this is never questioned. i've literally never heard anyone talk about how strange a decision that is for a movie

but also i can't even tell if it is necessary? would the movie really suffer if it wasn't there? would audiences be able to pick up what was happening by just watching? ok i need to stop i could write a whole essay on just this
