Just because. " Did you know? At a DevTech party, Voyd and He-Lectrix slow dance together. Are there sparks between them?" I mean, they are saw in the movie rather close during the party ( before our favourite super heroes multi billionaire fan interrupt them) and in that book they are presented together ( it's "Voyd and He-Lectrix in the title ) and has a little anecdote together as well. Their costumes are almost matching and during the attack on the boat they also team up to enter.

Winston Deavor's Character & Personality

Winston is a man who's likely in his thirties or forties. He's the CEO of a world-class telecommunications company named DevTech. There, Winston works alongside his sister. More than anything, he's a huge supporter of Supers and wants them to return to the spotlight. Winston is determined and confident in what he does. He's a brilliant businessman, as his suavity and charm give him a sense of knowing how to read people. Winston is also a cosmopolitan because he has connections with people all over the world. He truly believes he can use his wealth and power to make the world a better place for everyone. Beyond this, Winston is down-to-earth. He has strong morals in terms of what's right and wrong. Winston even proves his morality is above kinship. He's even selfless as he's willing to risk his life try and free people while helping them to safety.

Gazerbeam is a super from the glory days who had the power of laser vision, enhanced by his special helmet and visor. His civilian name was Simon J. Paladino, and he worked as a lawyer, with a special passion for superhero rights. He was also a close associate of DevTech and the Deavor family. During Operation Kronos, Gazerbeam was killed by the Omnidroid v.X5.

Fun fact: Simon J. Paladino's tombstone appears in the Halloween special "Toy Story of Terror!" where his epitaph describes him as "A public servant with a unique vision."

"I don't remember the House of Lamentation having one of these," MC notes as they take in their surroundings. "Whose idea was it to put one here?"

"It was mine," I answer. "Barbatos helped me set everything up. All the equipment, the acoustics...it's all top-notch."

"By human world standards, or Devildom ones?" I've forgotten how observant they are. MC seems to enjoy taking in all sorts of information, even if it seems insignificant to other people. That's one of the things I like about them.

"According to the employee at DevTech--I mean, Best Buy--we have the top-of-the-line equipment, and the quality is comparable to some of ours." I hate that I keep swapping human world names with Devildom ones. I personally feel like I'm better than that.

"Have you guys used it yet?"

"Funny that you mention that, because we just started a zombie movie marathon last weekend."

"Was that your idea as well?" I nod my head.

"The idea of zombies has interested me for a while now. While there are diseases and curses that can induce a zombie-like state in demons, it's usually a temporary problem that can be solved with medicine. That doesn't seem to be the case with humans."

"Are you solely basing that on our movies?"

"Of course not. I've also read books."

"Fiction or non-fiction?" Oh, I'm about to blow their mind.

"Both, actually."

While the human world seems to focus on the fantastical elements of zombies, the Devildom has meticulously recorded all zombie outbreaks that have occurred throughout the centuries. You see, sometimes a human zombie accidentally stumbles in the Devildom, and we have to deal with that situation properly in order to prevent chaos.

While we've certainly dealt with the stereotypical zombies--the ones that are slow-moving, crave brains, and are more or less dead--those aren't the only ones that we've come across. Some are capable of sprinting, others aren't too keen on brains, and there's even those that appear perfectly fine on the outside but have some kind of parasite in their brain that's making them carry out orders with no thought whatsoever.

Although, sometimes the parasite doesn't have a physical form and is instead created as a result of rather intense brainwashing.

"I see," MC states once I've completed my mini lecture. "Somehow, that's never come up in any of my classes."

"That's because you've only taken general knowledge ones. RAD offers majors, and with those comes specific classes for particular areas of study. Although, in order to declare a major, you have to prove that you have a solid understanding of the fundamentals first, since you might get pulled to teach a class or two."

"Has that ever happened to you guys?"

"Lucifer and I are the only ones out of our bunch that have declared a major. Belphie's been offered, but he doesn't want to deal with the responsibility of teaching, so he just takes whatever interests him. The others simply haven't proven themselves yet. Levi struggles with attendance, and Beel has difficulty concentrating. As for Mammon and Asmo, I think they're content with where they're at right now, so they're not going to push themselves too hard."

"What do you and Lucifer major in?"

"He does potions and curses. I focus on history and literature. Somehow, despite my sin, I tend to be a more patient teacher than him. At least, that's what I've heard from other students."

"That's really interesting." MC appears deep in thought. "Do you think I could major in something?"

Honestly, I don't know how to answer that question, mainly because we've never had beings outside the Devildom attend RAD before Diavolo implemented the exchange program. It wouldn't surprise me if he did allow MC and the others to declare a major eventually, but I don't know how long that would take. Would MC be alive by then? Or be in a good physical and mental state to take in additional knowledge, let alone teach an entire classroom? Personally, I think they have the best chance out of the initial exchange students of eventually declaring a major, but that isn't for me to determine.

"That would be something to ask Diavolo. I don't think I'm qualified to answer that question." MC nods their head.

"So, changing the subject...wanna watch a movie together?"

"Like, right now?"

"Yeah!" I sigh.

"As much as I would like to, I doubt the others would be happy if I kept you all to myself before they've even had the chance to say hi to you. I will have to take your offer some other time."

"Sounds good. I'll try to find a good movie for us to watch together in the meantime."

"You bring the movie, and I'll whip up something nice for us to eat." MC snorts in amusement. "Do you not think I'm capable of cooking, MC?"

"It's not that at all. Just reacting to an idea I had, that's all."

"What kind of thought?" Interesting. My question has made them tense up all of a sudden. Usually they only get that way if someone catches them doing something that they think they're not supposed to do. Like fiddling with strange objects.

I keep coming across the phrase "Netflix and chill" in the media I've been consuming, and it appears to be referring to hooking up with someone as a movie's playing in the background. Is MC wanting to do that with me?

Are they afraid I'd find the idea silly? Because I don't. I mean, if it was something that I was invested in, then I'd want to pay attention to whatever was playing, but I'm more than capable of choosing something that I can tune out as I focus on something else.

Especially if that something else happens to be MC.

I lean in closer to them to whisper,

"You know, I went ahead and assembled a collection of movies I thought you'd like." I plant a kiss right below MC's ear, making them shiver slightly. "I really enjoyed picking them out, actually." I begin moving down their neck. "It was fun thinking about what might appeal to you. There are so many genres that are worth exploring."

LILA: I suppose, but not now.

LILA: Ah, fellow villains, I see?

EVELYN: I’m Evelyn Deavor. My do-good brother created DEVTech and brought Supers back into the light. I attempted to keep them illegal by making them look bad with hypnotism. My alter-ego was the Screenslaver.

MORAG: I’m Morag. I was the rightful ruler of Scotland, and then the Loud family ruined it for me!

SMEK: I am Smek. I was captain of the Boov race until Oh became the first Boov to run toward the danger, toward a Gorg ship, and took over.

VELVET: I’m Velvet. My brother and I were music stars who used Trolls to boost our singing, until that little scab Queen Poppy and her boyfriend exposed us and got us arrested!

SHELBOURNE: I’m Shelbourne. I was the mayor of Swallow Falls. But then Flint Lockwood and his food machine saved the town.

WATERNOOSE: I’m Henry J. Waternoose. I was the CEO of Monsters, Incorporated, before James P. Sullivan exposed that I would kidnap a thousand children and extract their screams to keep Monstropolis’ power running before I’d let the company die.

RANDALL: I’m Randall Boggs. The second-best Scarer in the business. So close behind Sullivan. I also made the Scream Extractor to assist Waternoose’s scheme.

JOHNNY: I am Johnny Worthington III, president of Roar Omega Roar. Boggs and I attempted to work together to make Laugh Power look bad to stick it to Sullivan. Unfortunately, my assistant ratted us out.

VECTOR: I’m Victor Perkins. I call myself Vector. After I stole the Pyramid of Giza, Gru tried to one-up me by stealing the moon.

LILA: We are gonna fight hard for this territory and it’s ours. But with these mouth-breathing fools serving as cover, we won’t get it.

SMEK: As of now, Adrien and his group have already tried one attempt to get Marinette back. They are in the midst of making another, but no matter how much they try, she’ll never be convinced.

CATCHING MY BREATH, STARING OUT AN OPEN WINDOW

CATCHING MY DEATH, AND I COULDN’T BE SURE

Hope can be a powerful thing; even more powerful than any tech his company could ever create in a lab, something which he doesn't think is a bad thing...unlike his sister. Hope used to run rampant in the city, in the world, when supers were allowed to save it. They brought a feeling of comfort and strength to his existence, a feeling that he saw and inherited from his parents and their belief in superheroes. Throughout his entire life, Winston never doubted the superiority of the supers, the way that they were chosen for something more than the rest of them and he wasn't mad about it - absolutely not, especially considering his parents were close friends with two of them. He never held their powers against them. If you were born with them that just meant you were destined for something greater. While he admired them with every fiber of his being, he never wanted to be them, heaven forbid. He already had enough responsibility on his shoulders from the moment he was born as the Deavor heir and only son. Tech ran through the Deavor veins, both his and his younger sisters. Sometimes he wondered if it was stronger in her than him but they both had their strengths. While Evelyn was a pro with creating new tech, Winston was the face and the sales. He understood it, don't get him wrong, he was a genius in his own right, but she loved it more than he did, and they were an unbeatable team in the industry. The only real crack in their relationship was supers themselves but that could all be put to the side when it came to building their company to the superpower it is today. But once they crossed over into Evermore to investigate some research at the University, everything changed. Winston couldn't remember a thing outside of DevTech and his family's legacy, nothing about the Supers or anything that had happened to their family. It is strange, he feels like there are things missing but his goal to create tech to help has not faded. He knows there's a life outside of Evermore but how to get there? that anger, the rage that had always been the driving force inside of her, danced beautifully with her belief that she was better than everyone else around her. better and far more intelligent

she never got close to anyone around her, they were cogs in a machine that she held the keys to, and they were all replaceable. even her brother if he decided to work against her but she hoped it would never come to that.

ruthless and determined, evelyn was a force to be reckoned with, never letting a single person threaten her empire or her independence without dire consequences

evelyn is constantly fidgeting, tapping pens or bouncing her leg when she's sitting down. evelyn has so much extra energy and bi vibes that she cannot sit still or normally to save her life. she's always moving around unless she's being serious in which case she is completely still

carries around a sketchbook filled with invention ideas or equations. they often make sense to no one else but they make perfect sense to her. the sketchbook travels everywhere with her and it's not unusual for her to wake up in the middle of the night and furiously start scribbling something

loves a cable knit sweater. though, on principal, evelyn hates anything related to her parents and their weak-willed need to rely on supers, she did love her father's sweaters, wearing them when she was sick as a child. it grew into a symbol of comfort so she wears them often when she's home alone, relaxing for the night

has always been interested in hypnosis. even at a young age, she had started researching it after seeing a gimmicky show at a carnival once with a magician who had asked for volunteers.

The version of Peter Parker/Spider-Man is all new and all different from the other versions of the character. He grew up in New Urbem with Uncle Ben - a believer of Supers - at a younger age when a strange spider bit him and gave him powers, but when he saw his uncle murdered before his very eyes, Peter blamed himself for not trying to do more to save him and not living up to his ideals, but he learned that with great power comes great responsibility. He then moved to Municiberg to live with Aunt May as a teen, where he meets the Parrs, a family of Supers. For a while, with his smarts and an admirable sentiment for any other Super, Peter will not shy away from any challenge as he used his powers to protect people and pursue the future his uncle believed in, one where the Supers will return to always save the day, unaware that his actions inspired younger people with powers out there. During the crossover, he develops a romantic relationship with Violet Parr.

The version of Aunt May will be based on the concept art of herself from Marvel's Spider-Man (PS4) as she looked like Aunt May from the early comics.
