Hello Larry - NBC Mid-Season 1979 After McLean Stevenson (The Cat From Outer Space) left M.A.S.H and was replaced by Harry Morgan, he landed his own sitcom. (At least 2.) It’s a thing I have only half remembered for decades.  A clicked on a YouTube video called 36 New Shows of the Hellish Mid-Season TV of 1979 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TfGZOmcR-nU) and the second show opening was for Hello Larry. (The third was for the Three's Company Spin-Off The Ropers, after the Ropers left Three’s Company and were replaced by Don Knotts.) Like when Frasier left Boston for Seattle more than a decade later, Larry Alder left Los Angeles for Portland, Oregon to become a radio Psychologist.  The shop also featured Kim Richards (Escape From Witch Mountain, Return To Witch Mountain, No Deposit No Return), Joanna Gleason (Nadine Berkus on Love & War, Atty. Jordon Kendall on The West Wing) and Meadowlark Lemon (The Harlem Globetrotters). The show had three 2-part crossover episodes with Diff'rent Strokes. (The same way The Facts Of Life had 2 crossover episodes later.) The crossover episodes can currently be watched Free on Prime Video in the Seasons 1 & 2 of Diff'rent Strokes.
