hey, my looping poem is online. every word links to another page with another poem, and so on. you can find it here.
inspired by extremely queer photos of late 19th century and early 20th century women who played hamlet, dressed up in breeches, and brandished swords. there’s a particular photo of a (german?) actress like this, swinging the sword by a river, and i can’t find it, so this one will have to do.
(but the photo i am thinking of does the rounds on tumblr every so often, so if you have it, please send it my way!!!)

been off work all week sick with a resurgent throat infection (??? it’s been weeks, hoping to speak to a doctor on friday) and working away at a looping digital poem i’m writing, where each word links to a page for that word, and each word in that page links to a page for that word... it’s a limited corpus, lol. hoping to get it finished soon, it’s meant to be more of a proof of concept/experiment than a magnum opus so it doesn’t matter if it’s a bit rough.
here’s an ugly video i made a bit earlier on in the process demonstrating how it works

if i let go
of the pain
it’s like your
love never ran
through my veins
wanting to heal // not wanting to forget that it was real

Finality
'Finality' - my final poem in this weekly series but hopefully not my final poem.

Although this has
ended, the end makes
way for something new.
*
The final…

literati and coffee
a literati (rory gilmore and jess mariano) inspired poem
“you are my coffee, around you i am free
brewing my strength, filtering my flaws,
your presence stirs up my day.
a strong sensational feeling you make
washes my worries away.
giving looks between books,
now, your absence left a stain in my soul
before i even knew.
i could take limitless shots,
go through intoxication
for you are my poison and cure.
i will always let myself be filled and drowned to you.”

How big is my heart? How long the waiting corridors of star clusters Galactic collisions of hopes Synodic months of changes How spacious are its rooms of wondering? How deep the walls crying silent tears?Nontime ticking clocks of never And nights and days, and nothingHow big is my heart?A whole universe in it Orbital movements in the open skies…
