Luke hadn’t even had his coffee yet which certainly meant it was too early to be seeing men this attractive.

Morning light streaming in and surrounding his dark brown hair like a halo, navy-blue sweater with the collar of a white button-up peeking out from underneath and black trousers stretching down his legs. Hair up in a bun showing off the undercut beneath and tortoiseshell glasses perched on the tip of his nose almost about to fall off. Holding a novel in his left hand and sipping on an iced coffee from his right.

Luke’s brain short-circuited with how attractive the man was, but to be fair he still hadn’t gotten his coffee yet.

An undercaffeinated mechanic meets the single father of his coworker’s nephew, who just so happens to be the mysterious man he can't keep his eyes off at Dagobah Coffee.

i'm so sad, i think my fave comfort dinluke fic was deleted??? 😭😭😭

i swear i bookmarked it! but i'm just not finding it anymore.

it was a very cute fic where Din and Luke were married the whole time, like because Luke found Din bleeding on the Tatooine desert and had to take off his helmet and to do so they got married before Din passed out and then they kinda have this long distance relationship, then they meet again on Gideon's ship and the go "Din??" "Luke??" lol; i really wanted to read it again, but i'm not fiding it

i tried to look through my ao3 history as well, but i still didn't find it. did it really got deleted or i'm just blind and not finding the fic? lol

edit: it was a really fluffy fic that was an oneshot that didn't belong to a series. i don't remember if it started with Luke rescuing Din and Grogu and then it went through flashbacks to show how they got married or if it started in the past and then showed us the present

i just remember that after they got married on Tatooine, they kept in touch via holocalls, Din sometimes went back to Tatooine to visit Luke, then when Luke's farm gets attacked he warns Din to not go back to Tatooine. then Luke loses his hand to Vader and Leia calls Din so Din goes there to comfort Luke and stuff, and then they had to part ways again and then finally they meet again with Luke rescuing them; and all this time Luke forgot to tell Din that he was a Jedi lol

but yeah, i'm starting to be sure this fic got deleted :/

So, if you’ve read the fic so far, Din and Wolffe are vode. Plo took one look at Din and was like I’m adopting him lol

So basically, I’m just imagining how’d the two would interact in other things outside of the story

Like dealing with droids? They’re gleeful and bashing the shit out of them, they’re two feral dogs going to town on a piece of meat. You don’t wanna mess with them. They’re on a mission.

What’s the mission? Only they know.

Broken caf machine? Din’s trying to fix it (miserably failing) while Wolffe curses his own existence and spirals so deeply down the Mando’a curse word pipeline that he doesn’t remember Basic

Wolffe meets Grogu? Din’s a proud father while Wolffe can’t get over the fact it’s a tiny baby Yoda that’s actually really cute. He’s astounded and calls Grogu “little warrior”, probably tries to see if the eating-frogs thing is true or not

Wolffe totally would sick the Wolfpack on Din at any given notice. Just be like “here, baby sit these fools for me” or be like “this shiny needs brotherly attention, I’m busy, please give it to them”. Din would be okay with it, maybe a little annoyed, but he’s going to go full Mandalorian and teach them their “heritage” as best he can.

If they’re able to comm each other, it’s just insults back and forth with the occasional short conversation. Like:

Wolffe: sha’buir

Din: di’kut

Wolffe: Cody said you need to go to the bridge

Din: he can tell me himself

Wolffe: osi’kovid

Din: Cody told me that he wants you to know that he’s going to eat your socks

Wolffe: what? He did not

Din: you can’t prove he didn’t

Wolffe: sha’buir

Cody is so done with the two of them because Wolffe just boasts about Din in the command group chat and is about to throw them both out a window or something

Luke’s all for it, he wants his husband to have more friends that don’t actually wanna beat the shit out of him at any given moment

Thinking about modern AU DinLuke and there is just no way Luke isn’t a gym rat. There is no way he’s not one of those guys that gets up at six am every morning to run.

Like Din is up every morning to get grogu to daycare around the same time Luke is finishing his run and he’s just so incredibly flustered every time they bump into each other cus “omg this dude is so hot and fit and I have baby spit up on my shirt”

I want more flustered single dad Din crushing on his hot neighbor.

And like Din tries to run one morning at hopes of getting a meet cute with Luke, but he’s like “oh my god this is awful how does he do it.” and while he’s bent over the sidewalk trying not to die, Luke comes over like “dude are you okay? You look like you’re going to puke”

CONCEPT DINLUKE BOXER/DANCER AU

i thought this up in dance class because i was like omg this movement so totally feels like luke and it just spiraled from there. kinda based on this webcomic i love (pirouette into my heart, i read it on tapas), but really only on the basis of one is a dancer and one is a boxer.

in my mind, luke is obviously the dancer because i feel like it just fits for jedi in general? like jedis are very acrobatic (looking at you prequels), athletic in a graceful way, and have a lot of discipline. i don’t think every jedi would be the same dance style though, but i think luke would definitely be a modern/contemporary dancer a la horton or martha graham. din therefore is obviously the boxer because it fits with parts of the mandalorian lifestyle with combat and honor.

i feel like in this au they’d have a chance meeting, like luke’s studio and din’s gym (that he just moved to) are in the same plaza/area or they’re both at the same hotel/convention center because luke has a performance and din has a tournament and they bump into each other (maybe switch bags accidentally 👀). they would definitely meet in the dumbest way and obviously luke would be like wowee he’s hot and initiate something (in my brain he’s always the initiator), and din overtime would become very interested like i think it would be so cute!!! and i can project my thirteen years of dance knowledge onto luke!!! y’all i have so many au ideas for them they’re one of my favorite ships <3

Dinluke prompt, if you don't mind ofc, AU where Anakin resisted the Dark Side and Padme never died, so Luke and Leia were raised together and like royalty (which maybe made him a bit sassy/bratty but still very kind), Anakin is a good if overprotective and intense father who coddles his children, and then his precious son meets Din Djarin, either the Mand'alor or "just" a Mando (I would prefer not following the 'the Children of the Watch' rules) They're there for alliance or to help Grogu mastering the Force or something, and when Luke and Anakin see that this big warrior has the tiniest cutest baby, they both melt. Grogu's cuteness is too strong. Anakin is like: "Please marry this man so he can be my grandchild"

Chapter 9 of wreck my plans, that's my man is out!

Summary: Luke Skywalker-Naberrie is sent on a diplomatic mission to Mandalore, on behalf of the Republic. He plans on getting the work done and leaving as soon as he can after the two years is up, but that was before he meets the Mand'alor.

Excerpt under the cut:

“We’re getting married,” Luke whispers, unable to hide the joy in his voice.

A laugh escapes Din, who nods his head, saying, “Yeah, we are, we’re getting married.”

Luke pictures a smile pulling across Din’s face, with soft rosy lips being at the center of it all. Tears prick his eyes when he realizes that the moment is coming when he’ll get to look into Din’s eyes, pick out every shade that swims in those depths, trace his fingers across his cheekbones, and eyes running over every piece of the man he loves. He’ll commit it all to memory, Luke swears to it.

“I love you,” Luke says, and Din brings a hand up to the back of Luke’s head.

you're on your own, kid IS a skywalker song, all of the skywalkers, anakin, leia, luke, rey!!! all these orphans but like yeah

i feel like luke and leia would probably relate to anti-hero!! especially luke and he probably thinks about vader, but i don't think it's a vader song, I think it's an anakin song if that makes sense

lavender haze is a dinluke or an anidala song, ESPECIALLY anidala, from padme's prospective

vigilante shit is the song of the rebellion idk if that makes any sense but also it is a fennec song i can't explain it

Mastermind is all the couples bc how cute

Sweet nothing i feel like is a Main Couple Song, like anidala, hanleia and for me dinluke!!

what i love the most about The Seven from D20 is that you can just feel the love the characters have for each other and how unabashedly like... feminine?? 'i am like other girls', it feels you know? like all the maidens are different from each other but they all just care about each other. I have only seen that kind of friendship in female friendship???
