if you had a fucking brain and actually cared about the me too movement and a woman speaking out about her abuse, you should have never thought he was innocent in the first place. survivors were begging you all to believe them and to believe amber’s voice.

people can say they were “manipulated” by the media, especially tik tok, all they want. the trial was public and all the information and evidence was out there. doing proper research was NOT hard. a victim opening up about her abuse and rape was in such a vulnerable position, but had the courage and strength to go through the harassment and public shame put in her way, and yet her voice was silenced and her trauma was made fun of, by the same people who are now saying they feel bad for defending depp. the thing is: the truth was always reachable and empathy was always an option. believing the words of a victim of DV was and is not a hard thing to do. you can feel bad about it all you want, those are still decisions you took and you all are still going to hell for it lol.

it was always obvious to me that we would look back to this trial and everyone would realize they had failed another woman for speaking out. i just didn’t know it would happen so soon and that you all would be looking for grace already. hope the amount of shame you all should be feeling right now equals the amount of dick riding you all did lmao.

I hate how fandom has become "if you haven't created anything in this very specific time frame after the release of the show/movie, everyone will have moved on"

And call me old fashioned, but that's just not me. I sometimes take ages to create and publish. And I will love a show or movie for such a long time (years, babes, years) that I just can't relate to the fast consumerism that's going on.

Because, let's be real, it can get really lonely in a fandom if most have simply moved on to the next shiny thing. Is what's created less worth, just because it was created outside the hype? Why is it such a taboo for this new fandom generation to love an old or "late" fic or art?
