Sometimes Reddit has some gems, this was under someone asking why good old Doc is so good to the Courier (charges less for services etc) and this was the top answer.

I really like this take of Doc being the Anti-Benny and being a moral anchor for the player to make them think about their actions as the Courier.

Fallout: New Vegas: Prospector Saloon

November 11-12 is Fallout: New Vegas Day, an annual community event hosted at the Pioneer Saloon!

A small headcannon of mine (since Felix is mute and has to communicate somehow):

• Arcade is he knows asl

• Lily has a passing knowledge of asl but has degraded overtime

• Yes Man downloads what remains on the database on sign language as a whole

• Veronica knows some asl and can understand through context what's being said

• Doc Mitchell knows a little sign, but not a whole lot for effective communication

• Ulysses only learned sign so he can understand the courier if they're mute, deaf, or hard of hearing

I think it’s very funny that one of the ways you can dispatch Mr. House is just by opening his little stasis pod and letting the new world germs take care of the rest since he’d be so vulnerable to them. You can even gloat about it to a horrified Mr. house!

I think it’s so funny cause he essentially did that to the vault dwellers of Vault 21, indirectly cause the death of Doc Mitchell’s wife and likely many others who weren’t resistant to new bacteria.

And it’s just karmic justice most players won’t even realize they are helping the Doc get but it’s nice nonetheless.
