This has been chilling in my mind since I first saw ZivaZivcs comic and I finally got the energy to make it XD

#my art #dreamworks trolls #trolls 3 #trolls band together #john dory #creek trolls #the orange troll is actually a deleted troll from the og movie known as Aspen Heitz #he has green hair in 3d and blue in 2d so i mixed the colors to get the hair i used here #any way #also i used chongos comic as like a reference for the posing and stuff #and like this is what it looks like in the comic but when put into trolls #it lind of looks like Aspen is like comforting his boyfriend creek #and i did not intend for that i just noticed it while coloring and i was like welp #and did not fix it #maybe im just overthinking it #it may just be the closeness due to troll proportions #also the holding hands on the shoulder #but it was in the og so its here too #also i love the scary jd render #whyd they make him so scary ill never know but man does it make for good comedy #i was orginally gonna draw jd too but then when i sketched him he just looked like the render and i was like you know what-#i also thought of using a fake png but that qas too much #so you get real png jd

a little update on what i've been doing in the sims lately! don't mind the huge walls of text for once i'm saying things in the post instead of the tags lmao

matthias's scars are very slowly coming along! i really love his left leg scar but can't really show all of it because i'd have to get him naked for that and it also wraps around his leg. um, but it starts at the side of his hip and carves down at an angle before abruptly following a steep line to the back of his calf. it looks gnarly which is exactly what i'm trying to achieve with matthias's scars! i'm also pretty pleased with the scars on his wrists and side, but the scar he has on the back of his right leg is... a little too crunchy? i don't know, it just looks weird. it's kind of hard to get the scars i'm making to look good on matthias's body. especially scars that're smaller or delicate... like the instant loss of quality makes me want to chew on exposed wires. but that's where i've left off on them! his arms and back are where he has the most damage but my god... it's SO difficult trying to get scars to look nice over his biceps and back muscles. also the hair ties i made for him look nice on his wrist <3

theo's apartment is also finally in the works. i've got the base layout finished and a general idea of what all the rooms are for. building and decorating isn't actually that daunting to me, surprisingly—instead, what's actually causing me a lot of grief is the realization that this is too big for theo to really be comfortable in. so, i was thinking, okay, that's fine, just get rid of three of the rooms and scale down the living area. only to pause and take into account the fact that theo's parents pay for this. they're controlling and also very big on appearance so i'm not sure they'd be fine with their son living in a shoebox—i mean, what would people say if word got to them that he doesn't even have a walk-in closet? like... that's the kind of people they are. but i wanted theo to feel comfortable in his apartment so now i'm feeling conflicted on how i want it to look. i'm definitely going to scale down the bedrooms and the living area... but it'll still feel too big to theo. there are just too many corners for him to ever fully let his guard down... which, hm... well, maybe that fits the story more anyway.

this is his general aesthetic for the interior btw... i want it to be brown, cream, and green all throughout the apartment with splashes of orange (this mix between his old dorm and his childhood home but with something new blending it together). i really wanted him to have stained glass windows in his kitchen and bathroom but couldn't find any </3 so sadly that's not happening. and i need to find a nice curio cabinet for his collection of bells... along with bells too lmao. but that's where i'm at so far! i'm seriously going to just sit here in build mode for hours just... trying to figure out how to make this place more comfortable for theo. like it's supposed to be where he feels safe but it's just too much rn.

had an odd dream that i was reading a comic book. sketched a couple of the pages i could remember.

#i might adapt this into an actual story because i am SO SO SO mad that it isn't a thing i can go back to reading #oc #im definitely keeping the concept of save-bot i fucking love save-bot he's just doing his best. i love a robot who wants to help people #im not equipped to be writing about underground rebellions with any sense of real tact though #besides its in a superhero universe/story so you know it would just be so sucks lol #sketch #god the colors were so interesting. the teal parts were all very precisely crosshatched and the fire was this gorgeous brush pen looking #colored inks that just seemed like they were MOVING #and i mean some of that was because i was dreaming but god even in my halfhearted copy you can see some of the movement #it was a bad scene but a really really REALLY fun dream. i love when a book can *get* to me so i was really enjoying it #put it aside so i could take a break and woke up. instant fury at the universe for not having it be a real book instead #ill reblog with details if anyone's curious. i can explain this scene but i dont feel like it #the green people are in a secret basement though. hiding from the government. blue jacket guy is a speedster robot named save-bot who does #rescue stuff with every fire department so fire suppression technology is not very good because save-bot "can just save you''#however they're badly over their legal occupancy and the secret basement has One (1) exit so everyone is like really fucked here.#includinig save-bot who is going to do his job until he dies because he is an ai without any sense of self preservation and he cares #which i didn't even CATCH until i woke up and started tryin to frantically note everything down #and then i was like wait. the glitter on that last page before i realized i needed a glass of water to keep reading... what WAS that...#(it was tears suspended in midair because save-bot goes so fast and also knows he's so fucked LOL)#seriously i'm so mad someone else didn't make this.

something ive come to notice now after watching more and more of michael sheen's movies is that his performance as aziraphale is completely unlike any other character he plays. he built that fucker from the ground up. the voice, the mannerisms... very rarely does he even move his face like he does in most of his other roles. there are glimpses of it, but aziraphale is just. SO different. like it's crazy

literally the only time in go that my brain recognizes aziraphale as being played by michael is when they switched bodies in season 1. so, when it's NOT aziraphale. and i think that says something

Recent-ish life pictures and etc.

#image commentary in tags once again since they don't allow captions anymore and I feel weird using the alt text for that --#1. bright very poofy cloud sky #2. saw these weird bugs on a sidewalk that were clustered in a pile and some of them were sitting butt to butt or something.. I wonder if #that's how they mate?? or maybe just some sortof strange bug fight or something.. interesting little creature party happening #out on the pavement on that day #3. Its kind of hard to see but on the inside of this watermelon there is a slightly lighter formation that sort of looks like a heart shape #4. special breakfast of scrambled eggs. soy sausages. and jarred artichoke heart. with some black coffee and whipped cream + a strawberry #5. ARBY.. fish ...traditional summer treat available only until like september maybe for like a month. but I love them because theyre cheap #lol.. the next closest/cheapest fried fish sort of option that is easily acessible to me is a more upscale fast food place where you can ge #three tiny little chunks of fish maybe the palm of your hand sized for about $17 lol... so 4 arby fried fish chunks for like $5 is good #6. & 7 - very cool sunset colored sort of pink/yellow/orange flower I found growing wild in someone's yard #8. got as a gift from someone who got it for christmas but didn't really want it and asked if I did since everyone knows Im like The Person #Who's Obsessed With Cats out of any group of people.. but I still havent done it lol.. it just sits there gathering dust until I have #the time on top of my 600 other projects. I think it's cool that it's gray so it does look like noodle (my cat)#9. Noodle (the aforementioned gray cat) with fancy lighting behind him #photo diary

I want to make a post about how smart Gideon is but am bad at making posts rn. But I’ll get to it because I feel like defending my darling girl. She’s smart! She’s so smart she’s just thrown into a situation in GtN where she is not given the tools she needs to understand everything going on around her!

Gideon so often gets done so dirty by a lot of slices of the fandom in terms of painting her as like, dumb muscle etc. when there is SO much more to her character. And I can’t help but think that a lot of the time there’s an element of people being weird about butch women in terms of that treatment. And even more so and intersecting with that, I feel like racism, conscious or otherwise, undeniably plays a role in this treatment of her in many instances. It’s not my place to speak further on that (and I’m sure people who are much more qualified to talk about this have been talking about it and probably getting largely ignored a lot of the time), but it’s a thought that’s popped up for me and has been knocking around my head a lot lately

#there is one particular scene where she reads ‘dulcinea’s’ expression is pretending to be one thing but actually being a look of #‘animal cunning’ or something to that effect #and I love it #I WILL talk about this at some point #and like yes joking about her being distracted by hot ladies in canaan house is all well and good #but I think a lot of times things turn into people calling her dumb #which really reduces her character #and does such a disservice to her #and it feels like in so many cases yeah that is very much tied in with perceptions of butches #and women of color #and butches of color #etc.#the locked tomb #gideon nav #gideon nav/kiriona my beloved you're currently my fave female character in the series today #it changes at any given time fghjk #but i always love her #also i realized 'qualified to talk about it' is weird wording but brain is tired and i am blanking on a better word to represent what i mean

i got the whole pile of clothes i ordered the other day today bc i paid a little extra for faster shipping bc i’ll be adding flourishes to some of it & need all the time in the world except apparently the website has gone the route of hiding when something is final sale (i CHECKED in the checkout!! before i bought everything!!) and half the stuff i ordered isn’t returnable!! lol!!!!

#i need someone to encourage me to call and complain on friday bc maybe i can make them let me return things #because it really doesn’t say ANYWHERE if it’s final sale!!! i went & looked at the listing for one of the things i bought bc i was #considering getting a size up & neither in the item page NOR in the cart does it say final sale. because i just checked again #i would not have purchased almost any of this if i knew it was final sale!!!!!#the other annoying thing is i ordered three (3) pairs of neon blue pants & one pair pink (wanted color pop)#and then a couple pairs of black just for fun & of course only the black ones fit ok #can’t wear all black to a WEDDING !!!#the other problem is i can get one of the blue pairs a size up (velvet also) but i’ll probably have to hem them… and do i need another thing #to alter in these clothes in less than a month ??? but one of the black pairs is also the right length. lol #MUCH TO THINK ABOUT #chatpost #the blazer i bought also has no buttons & i have to decide if i want to not care about that or if i want the Perfect blazer before i spend #a ton of time making it into a beautiful sequin mess. like you want it to be a good base first right #but i don’t have any TIME
