I'm Circusislife, I go by Circus here! Feel free to give me a nickname if you want! (Just nothing degradatory, or I WILL be coming for you -_- ) :D

If the name didn't give It away, I love circus! I have been going to circus school since before I was 8yo, have over a decad of experience behind be and counting, and cannot see myself quitting It anytime soon! (I'll become a teacher if that's what It takes, but I'll be old dead and burried before anything will be able to take It from me)

I have adhd (and Will fight haters). Was also Lucky enough to get an early diagnosis, so i have picked up a few tricks here and there to deal with it. Feel free to ask for tips! (And unlock the oversharing mode mwahahahha) :D

There’s a “documentary” called Room 237 (2012) that exists solely to allow some fans of the film The Shining (1980) share their theories about what the TRUE meaning of the movie is. Most of it is fan wank over-analyzing the film from perspectives that completely differ from the on-the-record sources of director Stanley Kubrick and the book’s author Stephen King. And I don’t mean normal “death of the author” stuff but looking into the deep symbology of using the number 237 instead of 217 from the book because of yadda yadda bullshit bullshit when it’s just the hotel used for exterior shots requested it because they knew people would refuse to stay in the “haunted” room 217, so it was changed to 237 since that hotel didn’t have a room with that number.

But I didn’t want to talk about that. I wanted to talk about one of the best IMDB trivia entries of all time from the segment that goes deep into the conspiracy theory that Stanley Kubrick faked the Apollo 11 moon landing footage and The Shining was his confession. And it is this:

During the segment of the film where they are claiming that "The Shining" is a symbolic representation of the faked moon landing, the narrator talks about changing the room number from 217 to 237. He shows the key which reads, "ROOM No 237" and says that there are only two words you can make with the capital letters, room and moon. However this is untrue as you can also spell moron.

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? walmart proudly supports this strip of land by the street! here are some flowers with wilting leaves. its employees have to pay out-of-pocket for their uniforms. my friend once got fined by the city because she organized a community pick-up of the riverfront, which was technically private property.
