Good logical play, but It's still my art though. I made the art piece. I have a say in that art piece that I made. I have a say on where I want my drawing to be posted and where I don't want it to be posted. Plus I've never claimed that Ghost is mine 🤷‍♀️ and at this point, everyone knows that Simon "Ghost" Riley is a character from Call of Duty.

My art is NOT public property.

Activision has the ownership right to the character Ghost, so only they have a say on what we can't do to Ghost. That means the only one who can say that I can't make an art/fic of Ghost is Activision.(and it most likely will never happen).

Editing with my tags cuz I think it's also pretty important to know (or if you're still dense enough to not wanna listen to me) :

#jessamine rambles #before i start. pls keep in mind that this is fully subjective and could just be a 'me' problem. i just want to get this off my chest #ngl i've been contemplating on whether i want to stop playing obey me. both the og game and nightbringer #idk i've been playing the game since its first month and while it's given me a lot of joy + memories + chances to befriend other ppl. i'm #pretty burned out. not to mention TIRED of my consistent disappointment with the game #the main story.....where do i start?? i actually enjoyed s1-s3 despite my qualms with the fillers and pacing but s4 disappointed me. i was #rlly looking forward to simeon's storyline and the new characters but ultimately. the devs tried to squeeze too many things into one season #not to mention that there is a notable difference in how the characters are written. i.e. beel's hunger and asmo's beauty #being watered down to running gags instead of the complexities explored in the old dg stories and chara songs #gameplay-wise. i was there when the devs raised the rewards price of the event urs and removed the demon ssrs completely #but nightbringer was the last straw for me. the amount of time it takes to grind for two games. knowing that the og app has essentially bee #abandoned by the devs?? not to mention that while the plot is interesting. i haven't touched the main story ever since the coma arc #i will give credit to the devs for improving the event stories by choosing to focus on 1-2 demons. but it has always felt like a quantity >#quality situation. esp if i were to compare it to my other fandoms #it also doesn't help that i'm currently at a point of my life where i'm questioning if i could use my time on obm for better things #seeing how the game is giving me less reasons to believe it is worth my time #idk this may also be a short-term phase since i DID get back into twst after a long hiatus and i recently got into whb #which btw has felt like a breath of fresh air despite my frustrations with the bugs and current gacha #but yeahhhh........as much as i love the obm characters and fanfics. i'm just tired #at this point i feel like the only reason why i still play the game is due to the nostalgia and so i don't waste the years of grinding #aaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh #this is what i get for being the type of player who only plays a few games so they can rlly dedicate their time and passion to it #that's all

this video is wild. even if you don’t want to watch the entire thing, the conclusion is really good and really highlights some of the issues faced in game preservation and the failure to recognize contributions and properly credit artists that work on these games.

#this video is fun he really spirals after the first section #but im certain there are plenty of people like tommy tallarico out there that just arent as stupidly vocal as him #and the way tiktok uses sound effects or uncredited clips as well as games like fortnite stealing dances #so it's not just singular people but also entire companies and corporations that do this kind of shit #idk this is kind of gaming related so. here you go #i know it's like 2hrs but it is really interesting and again even if u just skip to the conclusion he makes some interesting points #basically this guy tommy tallarico is trying to claim he created the roblox oof sound #but he didnt. lol. and then he finds out that this guy has lied about a whole bunch of other gaming shit #and steals credit from a lot of artists along the way #and is just. A Liar and a weirdo #but again i think there are definitely far more tommy tallaricos out there particularly in the gaming industry #where crediting has always been..... questionable at best #and especially lately i feel. there has been a huge uptick in plagiarism in indie games and even IF games #and in book publishing. watched a video the other day that was a review of a book that was literally just #fanfic. and was NOT edited enough to remove the blatant plagiarism that comes with trying to publish literal fanfic lol #i mean publishing fanfic has always been a Thing but it definitely feels like it's gotten far more blatant recently #and it feels that people just. don't care? especially again in indie spaces whether gaming or publishing #i mean there's a whole genre of indie horror games that are just 'asset flips'#that are usually made in a rush to profit off another game's success #and there's nothing wrong with using premade assets if you.... Credit them. but these games dont do that lol #and again are usually stealing the storyline of another more popular game #and again. publishing fanfic... liike...... it's questionable and can easily just become plagiarism #anyways. just something to think about i guess ! if nothing else the video is funney #video #personal

9-1-1 and 9-1-1 Lone Star: First responder drama with lots of representation and a love for refusing to let Buck have even one good day.

Critical Role: A niche in whump media since there's several hundred hours of content. Live action D&D campaign featuring a whole slew of professional voice actors--so when their characters get hurt, you'll hear it. Delicious. (The gif is from their animated show, called The Legend of Vox Machina. Also delicious.)

Firefly: A 20 something year old sci-fi/western show with the strongest characters I've seen in any show I've watched. The two main whumpees feature the rebellious, charismatic ship captain and an incredibly passive-aggressive doctor with some wonderfully complex morals. (Fun fact: this show is what my profile picture is from!)
