#don't think about the other vampires rushing in and trying to restrain him in a panic. but even the three of them can't hold him back
Note
hello llama
i have been thinking and headcanoning about vampire bad sanses lately, so i was curious if you have any thoughts about or interest in vampires of the nightmare and crew variety? (人 •͈ᴗ•͈)
"do i have interest in vampires", he asks
ok, i will share my extensive vampire brainrot. but in return..... you have to write that vampire fic.... oooOOooO look into my eyes you know you want to write it ooOoOooo 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫
I very much like the idea of Nightmare's castle being Castlevania-style. Lots of spooky architecture, lots of ancient magical passages that haven't been seen in centuries.
Horror can be summed up in one word. Bloodlust. There's a constant hunger inside him he can't ever seem to fill, driving him almost to the point of madness. He is more beast than man. When he smells or tastes blood, he loses control of himself, becoming little more than a starving wild animal - his capability for slaughter is limited only by his appetite. So unless Nightmare requires it, he generally abstains from blood. He doesn't like losing himself so entirely.
Something about you makes him forget his hunger. Is it your voice? Your scent? He has no idea, but oh, it feels good to feel whole. When you're around it's as if he'll never be hungry again... he follows you like a dog, grinning intensely every time you look at him. This is one hound that can't be shaken.
Despite his 'condition', he finds a lot of solace in cooking. Nothing will give him the same drug-like rush as blood but human food is nonetheless warm and filling and distracts him momentarily from the emptiness. He enjoys the process of making it, too, doing something with his hands. Let him cook for you, please? Watching you eat brings him vicarious joy.
Dust's backstory is one of legend. Something resembling a story can be spun from the loose whispers. A vampire invaded his peaceful isolated village hundreds of years ago, intending to turn the helpless populace into enslaved vampires. Dust, the first to be bitten, turned and slaughtered them all himself - and despite being a vampire for barely a week, the equivalent of a stumbling newborn, he killed the centuries-old invading vampire in single combat.
No one's quite sure why he's joined Nightmare. Perhaps Nightmare was keen to take this uniquely violent creature under his wing, and Dust just didn't really care where the wind took him. Or perhaps he has some other motive, hidden beneath that silent face. Who knows.
... Dust might be quiet, but it's obvious he's fixated on you. Which is a big deal. This is a creature who hasn't mustered a second thought for anything but blood for decades; but somehow, you've excited him. He's very clearly interested in you, silently watching your every move, listening intently to every word you say. Too bad he's not much for conversation.
Killer's backstory, on the other hand, is shrouded entirely in mystery. No one knows where he came from, who he is, or what he's done. He simply appeared one day - right within the coveted inner circle of Nightmare himself. He's the Night King's most trusted weapon, and the closest thing he has to a friend.
Killer seems very clear about what he wants. He thinks you're adorable, and he says you'd make such a pretty vampire. He talks (at length) about how much he wants to bite you, and how if it were up to him you'd already be one of them. A lot of his flirting involves calling you things like sweet treat and honeyblood. However... despite all the taunting, all the talk of seeing you as food, Killer is the one in the castle who treats you with the most respect. The others seem to see you as an object, a cute toy, something to squish and own. Killer talks to you like you're a real person. You can't help but like him for it.
Nightmare's inferiority complex has driven him to declare himself the king of the vampires. No one contests - Nightmare is royalty by blood, and vampires place a lot of emphasis on blood. But even if he wasn't, Nightmare frequently murders those who won't bend the knee. Plenty of powerful vampires have fallen embarrassingly fast at his hand.
... Nightmare's goal is to make you agree to be his spouse. A pretty little human partner would be excellent for his image. It would not only demonstrate his incredible self control as such an ancient vampire (not to mention his control over his warriors), but it would also show that his power is so great he doesn't need to strike a political marriage with another powerful vampire. It might also convince some of the pesky rebellious human groups to settle down.
His pride means that he won't force you. Not yet, at least. He likes to think he can seduce you. He's a royal vampire, after all, and you're just a simple human - isn't it only a matter of time?
... But it seems like, as time goes on... he's the one falling.

Savage Sunset Chapter 23S
Story masterpost
Complementary chapter
Warnings for this chapter: Blood and gore, forced nudity and restraint
In this chapter: Lex and Ari rush to snatch Nick's second victim away from him.
***
They decided Valen should stay home while they went to the hunter's base.  That seemed safest, since it would keep the most distance between Nick and Valen.
The problem was when they arrived at the base, there weren't any cars parked out front.
"Where's Nick's car?" Lex said, immediately panicking.  "Where's Nick? He's here, right?"
Ari cursed and got out of the car.  "We need to get unlucky vampire #2 and get back home now."
They briefly considered racing back home immediately, but if Nick had left the base to go terrorize Valen, the only upside was he'd left his new catch undefended.  Because of course he didn't tell anyone else he was going and have them watch his new catch, because of course he loved doing nasty shit under the table that he needed no witnesses for.
Did he think they weren’t ballsy enough to just snatch the unguarded vampire?  Was he counting on them not being able to pass this one off for dead?
…Was there actually a vampire here, or had it been a ploy to get them out of the house?
They had to at least check.  They needed to do it now.  They wouldn't get an opportunity this good again.
Ari kicked the door in and stomped down the stairs without shutting it behind her.  They half-expected the basement to be empty, the second vampire a total fabrication to get them away from Valen.   But no.  There was a vampire in the basement and–oh God, it was a kid.  Well, not a kid, explicitly not a kid, but only by very recent developments.
He must have just turned 18 by the looks of him.  Baby-faced, but trying very hard not to look it.  His fancy clothes were torn in a heap on the ground.
Of course the second live capture had been the inaugural hunt of a newly adult vampire noble trying to catch their first human.  Here in the basement, they only found the most innocent vampires to torment.
He was chained with his wrists hanging from the ceiling, feet likewise secured to the floor.  Gagged, muzzled.  He was naked with his pants pooled around his ankles, because of course he fucking was.
He'd been staring at the ground crying hot, angry tears, but as the two women appeared on the stairs, his gaze snapped to them and he growled savagely and thrashed.
"Give me a fucking break," Ari snapped.  "We're here to help you, believe it or not."
"Let's get you out of here," Lex said, trying to be comforting despite the time ticking by painfully.
When they approached to get him down, he kept squirming, chains going taut with the force of his struggling.
"We don't have time to piss around here," Ari shouted with such force that the vampire stilled out of fear.  "This is taking less than five minutes one way or the other, so it's up to you if we do that by just blowing your head off, got it?"
Lex reached down and pulled his pants up, restoring some semblance of dignity.  Replacing the shirt would have to wait until later.  He remained still as she undid the shackle on the floor then reached up and disconnected him from the ceiling.  He immediately tried to lash out, but he ended up losing his balance and falling on account of his limbs still being restrained.
“Hey,” Ari growled, and she withdrew her revolver and pushed it against his forehead.  His watery eyes crossed to follow the barrel.  “Last chance, motherfucker.”
He kept growling and baring his teeth as much as he could, but stopped trying to hit them as Ari hooked her arms under his biceps and started dragging him up the stairs.  “I guess it’s a good thing we still have the fucking coffin.  Not that I’m too happy about it.”
***
They hoped Bailey and Jerome had gotten there at a convenient time to stop whatever Nick was trying to do to that sweet boy.
The not-so-sweet boy in the back of the van growled and screeched and thrashed, chains jingling inside the coffin.  He refused to stop posturing about how tough and dangerous he was despite the fact that he became scared and pliant as soon as either of them threatened him.  It was like a dog barking at someone through a door only to then retreat in embarrassment once the door was open.
"Just hang in there," Lex said over his enraged noises.  "You're safe now."
He seemed less concerned about safety and more about wanting to take her head off.  His nostrils flared as they made eye contact.
"Just glad he's not gonna be our problem for long," Ari muttered.
Their stomachs dropped when they finally got home and saw Nick's car parked out front of their house–but thank God, Bailey and Jerome's was right behind it
"Fuck," Ari said.  "Fuck fuck fuck."  She screeched to a stop, slammed the door open, and sprinted up and into the front door, which was standing open.  Lex gave one last glance at the captive vampire behind her before deciding he wasn't going anywhere and joining her.
Valen could be heard crying loudly even before they'd gotten inside the house.  Ari came into the living room and stopped dead.  Lex bumped into her back, came around her, and saw what had caused the reaction.
Nick was on the floor–or rather, all over the floor.  He was dead as dirt, covered in blood and gore, a huge, ragged bite out of his neck.
“We’re in here.”  It was Bailey’s voice from the dining room.
Lex was eager to get away from the corpse.  She dashed into the dining room.  Valen was there, between Jerome and Bailey.  He was clean, no blood all over him–not what she’d expected.  She didn’t have time to question it, rushing to get Valen in her arms.  Safe in her arms.  “Valen.  Valen, oh my God, oh my God, I’m so glad you’re okay.”
Ari came in next, putting her arms around both of them.  “Holy shit,” she whispered.
“I’m sorry,” Valen sobbed.  “I’m sorry I killed him.  I know I shouldn’t have.”
How to even begin making him understand how much they didn’t fucking care about that?  “It’s okay,” Lex said.  “You had to.  You had to defend yourself.”
Valen let out a cry like she’d just told him the exact opposite, that he was horrible for killing him.  He leaned into her, crying inconsolably.
You’re safe now.  You’re safe, sweet boy.  She looked over his shoulder at Jerome and Bailey and mouthed Thank you.
The two men came over and hovered over them, almost but not quite making a five-person group hug around the vampire.
“I’m sorry,” Valen said again, voice hoarse from crying.  “I’m sorry I killed him.”
“It was self-defense,” Bailey said.  “I’ll say it however many times you need to hear it.”
Please, please, please understand.  It’s not your fault.
“It wasn’t,” he whispered with terror.  “It wasn’t self defense.  I had him under persuasion.  He couldn’t hurt me.  I killed him anyway.”
Lex drew back slightly so she could look him in the face.  He scrunched his face up, as though expecting retaliation at any moment.  “I’m a monster.  You need to execute me.  I’m a murderer."
None of them could bring themselves to think of killing Nick as murder, not from Valen and especially not when Nick had actively broken into the house to come after him.  Nick had, as they would say, fucked around and found out.
Ari squeezed his shoulders.  “You are not a monster or a murderer,” she said firmly.
“It was self defense,” Lex reiterated.
“He broke into the house to come after you,” Ari continued.  “That’s self defense.”
Valen looked at her incredulously through tearful eyes.  “But–But I killed someone who was defenseless and I–I–I–it made me feel good.”
“It made you feel good because he’s a monster that tortured and abused you, and you were putting an end to it.  You have the right to do that.”
“But…but I liked it,” Valen said, swallowing.  “I liked killing him.  I’m a monster.”
“You are not going to do that to just any random helpless person,” Lex said.  “You’re just not.  Nick doesn’t count.  There are circumstances.”  The idea of Valen being a malicious murderer just because he could and liked killing was too ridiculous to entertain.
Ari spun him around, squeezing his shoulders.  “Look at me,” she said, very serious.  “You are not a monster.  I don’t fucking care.  I don’t care about the details about what happened here.  I don’t care if that spineless rat was on his knees saying sorry and begging for mercy.  He broke into the house to come after you.  That’s self defense.”
Valen put his face in his hands, still crying.  Bailey and Jerome came closer, encircling him.  “Okay,” he whispered.  “Thank you.  What do we do now?”
Ari sighed, palming her face.  “Okay.  So.  What we do now is figure out what the fuck to do with his body.  And with the pissed off teenager we have locked in the van.”

BLOODRIGHT - Vampire Jaehwan AU - Chapter 14
Hello!!!!👋👋👋👋 I hope everyone is doing well wherever you may be. Don't forget that I think of you all often and hope for the best for you! Each and every one of you matter so much to me!!
I hope you enjoy this next chapter of vampire Jaehwan. Seriously, it's so difficult to write a pissed off Jaehwan, he's such a sugar muffin. I hope it comes across well!
Let me know what you think! 💖💖💖
🧛‍♂️🧛‍♂️🧛‍♂️🧛‍♂️🧛‍♂️🧛‍♂️
"What the hell are you doing back here?  You know this section is off-limits."
"I came to speak with my sister."
“Your sister?”  Jaehwan looked at you and silently questioned.
“He is my brother….but I haven’t seen him in years.  He also wasn’t a vampire when I last saw him.”
“And you were not a vampire’s tramp when I last saw you.”  Your brother’s hand shot out and what looked like dirt flew out towards Jaehwan.  When Jaehwan dodged the attack, your brother moved quickly and had his hand wrapped around your throat before you could blink.
You gasped and wrapped your hands around his arm to try in vain to escape.
“Stop moving!”  Your brother’s harsh words in your ear made you freeze.  You looked up at a seething Jaehwan.  His hands were clenched at his sides and his red eyes seemed darker.
“It seems you do not value your life.  Release her and I will give you a quick death.  Otherwise, I have years of experience with torture and, I promise, you will wish I’d killed you.”   Jaehwan’s voice was similar now to what you’d heard when he spoke to Mr. Timms.  A cold chill ran up your back as you thought about it.
“Mother told me you had taken very quickly to your vampire master.  What?  Did you take one look and offer your body to him?  Stupid girl."
"Let me go!"  You struggled again but your brother's hand tightened on your throat again.  You gasped for air and pulled at his hand.  His other hand went to your arm and grabbed a patch of skin there but didn't twist it yet.  You instantly stilled.  Years of punishments and reprimands flooded into your brain and your body automatically responded.  Your brother chuckled.
"You never disappoint, sister.  You don't like your arms to be touched, do you?  I wonder why…..?"
"Please stop…what do you want?"  Tears streamed down your face but your silent sobs turned into a scream when your brother violently twisted the skin he was holding.
"Shut up!"
"You bastard, be a man and talk to me!"  Jaehwan's hands were fisted at his sides.  He was desperately trying to restrain himself from causing a massacre.
"My sister will get me what I want, won't you?"  You shook your head but cried out when he squeezed your arm again.    You didn't know what he wanted but you knew he'd have no problem with killing you.  He never had been a proper brother.
"W-What d-do you want?"
"Mother told me how you embarrassed her and father when she brought you here.  So you're going to come back home with me and train again and again and again.  Once your master sends us the money he was supposed to, we might return you.  Maybe in one piece, too."
Fear froze your heart.  You never wanted to go back there.
"Mr. Timms even personally offered a special training so that when you return you can properly serve your master."
Your face went pale as you completely understood what your brother was insinuating.  Mr.  Timms was going to finish what that doctor had started.
Jaehwan started forward again, intent on killing your brother.
"Your Highness, we heard screaming."  A noise came from the back door of the house and several vampires rushed out to see the commotion.
"Y/b/n, what are you doing?"  An older-looking vampire stepped forward with confusion on his face.
"If this vampire is yours, order him to release my donor before I decide to kill each and every one of you."
"You wouldn't dare!" a vampire spoke from the back and you saw that he looked to be the oldest of the lot.  "You would start a war over one insignificant donor?!"
"Don't test me!  If he doesn't release her, I swear none of you will leave here alive!"  You slightly jumped when Jaehwan's voice increased in volume.
"Oh just let him have this one, we'll find you another one when they become available."  The vampire who had spoken to your brother rolled his eyes as he spoke.
Jaehwan advanced on the vampire so fast, that you didn't see him move until you saw that he had his hand around the old man's throat.
"You'll be the first to die."
The old vampire sputtered in disbelief.
"Now!"  Jaehwan belted out the command and all hell broke loose.
Something shattered behind you, hitting your brother.  As he yelped in pain, you were both pulled back by a strong force.  The action caused you both to fall to the ground.  You landed, hard, on the ground but your brother no longer held you.
Taking the opportunity, you tried to scramble away but your brother grabbed you once again, this time by your hair.  Screaming in pain you tried to pry his fingers from your hair.
Suddenly, a heavy boot landed on your brother's arm.
"Release her."  You looked up to see Jaehwan, shaking with anger.  Your brother had no choice but to relax his fingers so you could pull your hair free.
"Min, take him."
Jaehwan's second in command quickly hoisted your brother up and led him away.
Almost instantly, Jaehwan was at your side.  He gently picked you up and settled your body against his.
"Your Highness, he is my charge."  The old vampire who had spoken to your brother earlier stepped forward.  Jaehwan didn't even turn to acknowledge him.
"He is mine now."
Jaehwan turned with you in his arms and started out of the garden.
"The banquet has been canceled.  I will allow you to stay for tonight and a meal will be provided for you.  You will leave first thing in the morning after you get your affairs in order."  Jaehwan didn't wait around to hear their arguments, which were quickly rising.
"Your Highness, this is unaccep–"
"I will not hear you.  My decision is final."
You could still hear the other vampires arguing as Jaehwan walked into the house.  He didn't use his speed this time and walked up the stairs.
You kept your arms around his neck but didn't say anything.  Your mind was too shocked to think about speaking.   Once you both were past your bedroom door, Jaehwan slammed the door shut with his boot.  The loud sound caused you to jump.
He sat down with you on the sofa set to the side of the room.  You waited but he didn't move.  Instead, he tightened his arms around you and buried his head against your shoulder.  Now that you were still you could feel that he was shaking.  His breath was against your neck and it sent goosebumps to your skin.
"J-Jaehwan?"  You tried to lean back but he tightened his arms around you again.
"Wait…please.  I need you to stay right here so I won't go back down there and kill everyone."  Your heart plummeted to your stomach when you heard his words.  Concerned, you tightened your arms around his neck.  But, your action backfired when his lips landed against your neck.
He removed his arm from under your knees and curled it around your waist to join the other one.  One of his hands splayed over your back against your spine and pulled your body closer.  You were sure that he could hear your racing heart.
After you took a deep breath to calm yourself you realized you didn't want to move.  The adrenaline was gone and the fear you'd felt earlier came back.  Now, you were both taking comfort in the other and you never wanted him to let go.
"Y/N," His voice vibrated against your neck and you had to bite your tongue to keep from making any noise, "are you okay?"
"I think so.  I'm sorry for causing trouble…..again."
He finally leaned back and you felt cold.  You instinctively frowned and he furrowed his eyebrows.
"Where are you hurt?"  He looked you over and his eyes landed on the newly formed bruise on your arm.  He lowered his head and placed his lips on the bruise.  This time, you couldn't stop the small surprised sound that came from your throat.
"I promised that you wouldn't have bruises on your arms living here."
"You can't control what other people do.  No one that counts has hurt me, that's what is important to me."
"Do I count?"  He raised his head to look into your eyes and you couldn't help but smile a bit.  When you nodded, he smiled in return.
"Really, I'm okay."  You moved one of your arms from his shoulder and he immediately grabbed it.  You looked at your forearm and noticed the cut an inch or two above your wrist.  "How did that happen?"
"A piece from the glass bottle Min smashed over your brother's head must have nicked you."  He didn't hesitate before leaning forward and running his tongue quickly over your skin.  The sound that came from your mouth this time caused your cheeks to turn bright red.  You slapped a hand over your mouth and your eyes went wide.
Jaehwan's eyes found yours and you noticed an expression in them that you hadn't seen before.  A tingling feeling erupted in your belly as he reached forward and removed your hand from your mouth.
He looked down at your hand and held it up for you to see.  There was also a cut there, just in the center of your palm.   You expected him to do the same thing as he'd done with your arm but he wasn't moving.  Looking up at him, you saw him staring at your lips.  Awareness flooded your being.  It took you only a couple of seconds to realize that the blood from your hand had landed on your lips when you'd covered your mouth.
"May I?"

Amnesia (Book Two)(Part Ten)(Alec Volturi)
Tumblr media
The Trial
As the pause lengthened, Edward's breath speed up. "Edward?" Carlisle asked, low and anxious. ‘'They're not sure how to proceed. They're weighing options, choosing key targets - me, of course, you, Eleazar, Tanya. Marcus is reading the strength of our ties to each other, looking for weak points. The Romanians' presence irritates them. They're worried about the faces they don't recognize - Zafrina and Senna in particular - and the wolves, naturally. He is debating whether Maeryn’s gift could break Bella’s shield, or atleast crack it enough for Alec and Jane’s gift to slip through, just as it did with Renate’s shield.” A few gasps filled the air and they looked at Bella, who also looked concerned. “ However, they've never been outnumbered before. That's what stopped them." "Outnumbered?" Tanya whispered incredulously. "They don't count their witnesses," Edward breathed. "They are nonentities, meaningless to the guard. Aro just enjoys an audience." "Should I speak?" Carlisle asked. Edward hesitated, then nodded. "This is the only chance you'll get." Carlisle squared his shoulders and paced several steps ahead of our defensive line. He spread his arms, holding his palms up as if in greeting. "Aro, my old friend. It's been centuries." The white clearing was dead silent for a long moment. The strain mounted as the seconds ticked by. And then Aro stepped forward out of the center of the Volturi formation. Renate moved with him as if the tips of her fingers were sewn to his robe. For the first time, the Volturi ranks reacted. A muttered grumble rolled through the line, eyebrows lowered into scowls, lips curled back from teeth. Even Maeryn felt her lips curl back from her teeth, however, Alec squeezed her hand and pulled her slightly closer to him, calming her down. A few of the guard leaned forward into a crouch. Aro held one hand up toward them. "Peace." He walked just a few paces more, then cocked his head to one side. His milky eyes glinted with curiosity. "Fair words, Carlisle," he breathed in his thin, wispy voice. "They seem out of place, considering the army you've assembled to kill me, and to kill my dear ones." Carlisle shook his head and stretched his right hand forward as if there were not still almost a hundred yards between them. "You have but to touch my hand to know that was never my intent." Aro's shrewd eyes narrowed. "But how can your intent possibly matter, dear Carlisle, in the face of what you have done?" He frowned, and a shadow of sadness crossed his features - whether it was genuine or not, I could not tell. "I have not committed the crime you are here to punish me for." "Then step aside and let us punish those responsible. Truly, Carlisle, nothing would please me more than to preserve your life today." "No one has broken the law, Aro. Let me explain." Again, Carlisle offered his hand. Before Aro could answer, Caius drifted swiftly forward to Aro's side. "So many pointless rules, so many unnecessary laws you create for yourself, Carlisle," the white-haired ancient hissed. "How is it possible that you defend the breaking of one that truly matters?" Maeryn agreed, who did they think they were anyway? "The law is not broken. If you would listen - " "We see the child, Carlisle," Caius snarled. "Do not treat us as fools." "She is not an immortal. She is not a vampire. I can easily prove this with just a few moments - " Caius cut him off. "If she is not one of the forbidden, then why have you massed a battalion to protect her?" "Witnesses, Caius, just as you have brought." Carlisle gestured to the angry horde at the edge of the woods; some of them growled in response. "Any one of these friends can tell you the truth about the child. Or you could just look at her, Caius. See the flush of human blood in her cheeks." "Artifice!" Caius snapped. "Where is the informer? Let her come forward!" He craned his neck around until he spotted Irina lingering behind the wives. "You! Come!" Irina stared at him uncomprehendingly, her face like that of someone who has not entirely awakened from a hideous nightmare.
Impatiently, Caius snapped his fingers. One of the wives' huge bodyguards moved to Irina's side and prodded her roughly in the back. Irina blinked twice and then walked slowly toward Caius in a daze. She stopped several yards short, her eyes still on her sisters. Caius closed the distance between them and slapped her across the face. It couldn't have hurt, but there was something terribly degrading about the action. It was like watching someone kick a dog. Tanya and Kate hissed in synchronization. Irina's body went rigid and her eyes finally focused on Caius. He pointed one clawed finger at Renesmee, where she clung to Bella’s back, her fingers still tangled in the wolf’s fur. A growl rumbled through its chest. "This is the child you saw?" Caius demanded. "The one that was obviously more than human?" Irina peered at the foes, examining Renesmee for the first time since entering the clearing. Her head tilted to the side, confusion crossed her features. "Well?" Caius snarled. "I... I'm not sure," she said, her tone perplexed. Caius's hand twitched as if he wanted to slap her again. "What do you mean?" he said in a steely whisper. "She's not the same, but I think it's the same child. What I mean is, she's changed. This child is bigger than the one I saw, but - " Caius's furious gasp crackled through his suddenly bared teeth, and Irina broke off without finishing. Aro flitted to Caius's side and put a restraining hand on his shoulder. "Be composed, brother. We have time to sort this out. No need to be hasty." With a sullen expression, Caius turned his back on Irina. "Now, sweetling," Aro said in a warm, sugary murmur. "Show me what you're trying to say." He held his hand out to the bewildered vampire. Uncertainly, Irina took his hand. He held hers for only five seconds. "You see, Caius?" he said. "It's a simple matter to get what we need." Caius didn't answer him. From the corner of his eye, Aro glanced once at his audience, his mob, and then turned back to Carlisle. "And so we have a mystery on our hands, it seems. It would appear the child has grown. Yet Irina's first memory was clearly that of an immortal child. Curious." "That's exactly what I'm trying to explain," Carlisle said, and from the change in his voice, Maeryn could guess at his relief. This was the pause they had pinned all their precious hopes on. However, it was pathetic to even begin with. Carlisle held out his hand again. Aro hesitated for a moment. "I would rather have the explanation from someone more central to the story, my friend. Am I wrong to assume that this breach was not of your making?" "There was no breach." "Be that as it may, I will have every facet of the truth." Aro's feathery voice hardened. "And the best way to get that is to have the evidence directly from your talented son." He inclined his head in Edward's direction. "As the child clings to his newborn mate, I'm assuming Edward is involved." Edward turned to quickly kiss Bella’s forehead and Renesmee's, not meeting her eyes. Then he strode across the snowy field, clapping Carlisle on the shoulder as he passed. A low whimper cloud be heard from behind the first row of foes - Esme's terror breaking through. Good. Be afraid. They all should be. Jane smiled as Edward crossed the midpoint in the distance between the two sides, when he was closer to the Volturi than he was to the foes. That smug little smile did it for Bella. Her fury peaked and her muscles tightened, and she acted automatically. She threw her shield with all the force in her mind, flung it across the impossible expanse of the field like a javelin. Her breath rushed out in a huff with the exertion. The shield blew out from her in a bubble of sheer energy, a mushroom cloud of liquid steel. It pulsed like a living thing. This was the moment Maeryn had waited for. Alec squeezed her hand one more time before releasing it, letting her use her power. Maeryn removed her hands from under her dark, grey cloak  and she concentrated on the barely visible bubble Bella was creating, trying to protect Edward. Maeryn slowly closed
her hand, feeling her gift sifting through her fingers. Her shield was strong, but slowly small cracks started to form, yet it took all that Maeryn had to keep these cracks open. Bella looked worried, but soon that look of worry turned into a glare. Jane had also noticed the cracks and tried to use her gift on Bella. A frustrating growl escaped her lips and Maeryn knew why. Bella had a second shield, a shield Maeryn couldn’t break. At least not yet. Maeryn dropped her hands and the shield repaired itself, though it was weaker than before. Barely a second had passed. Edward was still walking to Aro. Edward stopped a few steps away from Aro, Edward's chin came up arrogantly, and he held his hand out to Aro as if he were conferring a great honor.  Maeryn growled lowly, warning him. However, Aro seemed only delighted with his attitude, but his delight was not universal. Renate fluttered nervously in Aro’s shadow. Caius's scowl was so deep it looked like his papery, translucent skin would crease permanently. Little Jane showed her teeth, and beside her Alec's eyes narrowed in concentration. Maeryn growled lowly, warning him. They all were ready to act at a second's notice. Aro closed the distance without pause - and really, what did he have to fear? The hulking shadows of the lighter gray cloaks - the brawny fighters like Felix - were but a few yards away. Jane and her burning gift could throw Edward on the ground, writhing in agony. Alec could blind and deafen him before he could take a step in Aro's direction. And Maeryn could turn him to dust in a matter of seconds. Making it look like he had never existed at all. And ontop of that, she had just found out she was able to crack Bella’s shield, allowing at least Alec’s gift to slip through. With an untroubled smile, Aro took Edward's hand. His eyes snapped shut at once, and then his shoulders hunched under the onslaught of information. Every secret thought, every strategy, every insight - everything Edward had heard in the minds around him during the last month - was now Aro's. Bella hissed with frustration, and the shield roiled with her irritation, shifting its shape and contracting around their side. "Easy, Bella," Zafrina whispered to her. Aro continued to concentrate on Edward's memories. Edward's head bowed, too, the muscles in his neck locking tight as he read back again everything that Aro took from him, and Aro's response to it all. This two-way but unequal conversation continued long enough that even the guard grew uneasy. Low murmurs ran through the line until Caius barked a sharp order for silence. Jane was edging forward like she couldn't help herself, and Renata's face was rigid with distress. Aro straightened, his eyes flashing open, their expression awed and wary. He did not release Edward's hand. Edward's muscles loosened ever so slightly. "You see?" Edward asked, his velvet voice calm. "Yes, I see, indeed," Aro agreed, and amazingly, he sounded almost amused. "I doubt whether any two among gods or mortals have ever seen quite so clearly." The disciplined faces of the guard showed disbelief. "You have given me much to ponder, young friend," Aro continued. "Much more than I expected." Still he did not release Edward's hand, and Edward's tense stance was that of one who listens. Edward didn't answer. "May I meet her?" Aro asked - almost pleaded - with sudden eager interest. "I never dreamed of the existence of such a thing in all my centuries. What an addition to our histories!" "What is this about, Aro?" Caius snapped before Edward could answer. Maeryn felt the same. She was curious, but she was even more bloodthirsty. She wanted nothing more than to crush Isabella Cullen. The only vampire known to stand against her mate’s gift. "Something you've never dreamed of, my practical friend. Take a moment to ponder, for the justice we intended to deliver no longer applies." Caius hissed in surprise at his words. "Peace, brother," Aro cautioned soothingly. This would have been good news for the Cullens, if not for the double tone the message was delivered with.
"Will you introduce me to your daughter?" Aro asked Edward again. Caius was not the only one who hissed at this new revelation. Edward nodded reluctantly. Aro still gripped Edward's hand, and he now answered a question that the rest of the vampires had not heard. "I think a compromise on this one point is certainly acceptable, under the circumstance. We will meet in the middle." Aro released his hand. Edward turned back toward us, and Aro joined him, throwing one arm casually over Edward's shoulder like they were the best of friends - all the while maintaining contact with Edward's skin. They began to cross the field back to our side. The entire guard fell into step behind them. Aro raised a hand negligently without looking at them. "Hold, my dear ones. Truly, they mean us no harm if we are peaceable." The guard reacted to this more openly than before, with snarls and hisses of protest, but held their position. Renate, clinging closer to Aro than ever, whimpered in anxiety. "Master," she whispered. "Don't fret, my love," he responded. "All is well." "Perhaps you should bring a few members of your guard with us," Edward suggested. "It will make them more comfortable." Aro nodded as if this was a wise observation he should have thought of himself. He snapped his fingers twice. "Felix, Demetri." The two vampires were at his side instantaneously. Both were tall and dark-haired, Demetri hard and lean as the blade of a sword, Felix hulking and menacing as an iron-spiked cudgel. The five of them stopped in the middle of the snowy field. "Bella," Edward called. "Bring Renesmee... and a few friends." Bella nodded slowly. "Jacob? Emmett?" she asked quietly. Both nodded. Emmett grinned. I crossed the field with them flanking me. Another rumble could be heard from the guard as they saw her choices  - clearly, they did not trust the werewolf. Maeryn glared at the wolf, unsure if her Master was safe. She wanted to come along and protect him, just as he took her into his protection when she was changed and her world changed, yet she couldn’t. She had to obey the commands. Aro lifted his hand, waving away their protest again. "Interesting company you keep," Demetri murmured to Edward. Edward didn't respond, but a low growl slipped through Jacob's teeth. They stopped a few yards from Aro. Edward ducked under Aro's arm and quickly joined them, taking Bella’s hand. For a moment they faced each other in silence. Then Felix greeted Bella in a low aside. "Hello again, Bella." He grinned cockily while still tracking Jacob's every twitch with his peripheral vision. Bella smiled wryly at the mountainous vampire. "Hey, Felix." Felix chuckled. "You look good. Immortality suits you." "Thanks so much." "You're welcome. It's too bad ..." He let his comment trail off into silence, Maeryn rolled her eyes. Only he would flirt with the enemy at its peaking point. But she knew how he would end the phrase: It's too bad were going to kill you in a sec. And yes, yes they would. Preferable Maeryn killing Bella specifically.  "Yes, too bad, isn't it?" she murmured arrogantly. Felix winked. “Promise me one thing?” Maeryn whispered ever so quietly to Alec and Jane, whom both looked at her questionably. “Safe Bella for me?” she replied with a sadistic yet perfect smile. The twins returned the smile. “It will be our pleasure.” Jane replied while Alec quickly kissed Maeryn’s forehead before the three vampire’s returned their attention back to the scene playing infront of their eyes, waiting for the command to attack and kill.  Aro had paid no attention to their exchange. He leaned his head to one side, fascinated. "I hear her strange heart," he murmured with an almost musical lilt to his words. "I smell her strange scent." Then his hazy eyes shifted to Bella. "In truth, young Bella, immortality does become you most extraordinarily," he said. "It is as if you were designed for this life." Bella nodded once in acknowledgment of his flattery. "You liked my gift?" he asked, eyeing the pendant she wore. "It's beautiful, and very, very generous of you.
Thank you. I probably should have sent a note." Aro laughed delightedly. "It's just a little something I had lying around. I thought it might complement your new face, and so it does." A little hiss could be heard  from the center of the Volturi line. Jane had curled her lips in annoyance. It hadn’t pleased her one bit that Master Aro had given Bella such a precious gift, and neither did it please Maeryn. Aro cleared his throat to reclaim my attention. "May I greet your daughter, lovely Bella?" he asked sweetly. Bella walked two slow steps forward.  Aro met them, his face beaming. "But she's exquisite," he murmured. "So like you and Edward." And then louder, "Hello, Renesmee." Renesmee looked at Bella quickly. She nodded. "Hello, Aro," she answered formally in her high, ringing voice. Aro's eyes were bemused. "What is it?" Caius hissed from behind. He seemed infuriated by the need to ask. "Half mortal, half immortal," Aro announced to him and the rest of the guard without turning his enthralled gaze from Renesmee. "Conceived so, and carried by this newborn while she was still human." "Impossible," Caius scoffed. "Do you think they've fooled me, then, brother?" Aro's expression was greatly amused, but Caius flinched. "Is the heartbeat you hear a trickery as well?" Caius scowled, looking as chagrined as if Aro's gentle questions had been blows. "Calmly and carefully, brother," Aro cautioned, still smiling at Renesmee. "I know well how you love your justice, but there is no justice in acting against this unique little one for her parentage. And so much to learn, so much to learn! I know you don't have my enthusiasm for collecting histories, but be tolerant with me, brother, as I add a chapter that stuns me with its improbability. We came expecting only justice and the sadness of false friends, but look what we have gained instead! A new, bright knowledge of ourselves, our possibilities." He held out his hand to Renesmee in invitation. But this was not what she wanted. She leaned away from Bella, stretching upward, to touch her fingertips to Aro's face. His smile widened, and he sighed in satisfaction. "Brilliant," he whispered. Renesmee relaxed back into Bella’s arms, her little face very serious. "Please?" she asked him. His smile turned gentle. "Of course I have no desire to harm your loved ones, precious Renesmee." Aro's voice was so comforting and affectionate. But Maeryn smiled, knowing better. And then she could heard Edward's teeth grind together and, far behind the foes, Maggie's outraged hiss at the lie. So they aren’t as thick as they seem, Maeryn thought. "I wonder," Aro said thoughtfully, seeming unaware of the reaction to his previous words. His eyes moved unexpectedly to Jacob, and instead of the disgust the other Volturi viewed the giant wolf with, Aro's eyes were filled with a longing. "It doesn't work that way," Edward said, the careful neutrality gone from his suddenly harsh tone. "Just an errant thought," Aro said, appraising Jacob openly, and then his eyes moved slowly across the two lines of werewolves behind him. Whatever Renesmee had shown him, it made the wolves suddenly interesting to him. "They don't belong to us, Aro. They don't follow our commands that way. They're here because they want to be." Jacob growled menacingly. "They seem quite attached to you, though," Aro said. "And your young mate and your... family. Loyal" His voice caressed the word softly. "They're committed to protecting human life, Aro. That makes them able to coexist with us, but hardly with you. Unless you're rethinking your lifestyle." Aro laughed merrily. "Just an errant thought," he repeated. "You well know how that is. We none of us can entirely control our subconscious desires." Edward grimaced. "I do know how that is. And I also know the difference between that kind of thought and the kind with a purpose behind it. It could never work, Aro." Jacob's vast head turned in Edward's direction, and a faint whine slipped from between his teeth. "He's intrigued with the idea of... guard dogs," Edward murmured back.
There was one second of dead silence, and then the sound of the furious snarls ripping from the entire pack filled the giant clearing. Maeryn felt the same. She would not be able to stand the smell everyday that these mutts dragged along with them. And she certainly does not like their attitude. However, that would soon be sorted out anyway. There was a sharp bark of command - from a huge, black wold, - and the complaint broke off into ominous quiet. "I suppose that answers that question," Aro said, laughing again. "This lot has picked its side." Edward hissed and leaned forward. Bella clutched at his arm, wondering what could be in Aro's thoughts that would make him react so violently, while Felix and Demetri slipped into crouches in synchronization. Aro waved them off again. They all returned to their former posture, Edward included. "So much to discuss," Aro said, his tone suddenly that of an inundated businessman. "So much to decide. If you and your furry protector will excuse me, my dear Cullens, I must confer with my brothers."

Great work
Anyway, probably an angsty prompt but I was wondering if you think that any of our monster bois have had nightmares where they go on a hunt and then accidental chomp Virgil. Bonus points if in the moment they actually enjoy his flavor
I feel like the left brain boys (Janus and Logan) would be the most likely to have a nightmare scenario like that, especially Logan since he DID almost munch Virgil, and they'd also be the most likely to pretend everything's fine the next morning even tho they're absolutely miserable and terrified of taking a crunch munch out of their human bf in real life
Great work, don't know if o said that already
Happy holidays Nico
It’s been over a month since you sent this so sorry about that .-. Anyway here’s the fic, some good ol’ hurt/comfort with Loceit and Logicality because Logan deserves it
Warnings: Death (in a dream sequence), cannibalism, nightmares, blood
Logan went down his usual route to hunt. He and his other nonhuman boyfriends often hunted at the same time, spread all across the city and countryside to make their home less easy for the police to find. He found a good place on the rooftop to sit as he watched the humans pass by, waiting patiently for his prey.
One with dark purple hair walked down the alleyway. A pleased smile pulled at Logan’s lips. He dropped down silently in front of them, and before they could even scream he had them pinned to the ground, a hand over their mouth as he sunk his teeth into their arm.
The taste was heavenly. He ripped away at the tender flesh, sweet as candy and melting in his mouth. He ignored the human’s cries as he savored his meal, biting away until rose red pooled around them both. It was the most beautiful shade of blood he had ever seen. Logan felt bile hit his hand as the human attempted to vomit, before all the muscles beneath him loosened, and he heard their heart slow into silence.
Finally Logan pulled away with a sigh, having eaten his fill. He normally refrained from looking at his victims, in fear that he would feel guilty for killing them, but for whatever reason his eyes drifted over, looking over the dead man’s face. Purple hair, blank, empty black eyes, black eyeshadow.
Virgil.
Logan’s eyes snapped open, his body drenched in sweat. He looked to his side, relieved to see Virgil alive and well, sleeping as peacefully as ever. He listened closely to his boyfriend’s steady heartbeat, staring up at the ceiling as he waited for his own heart to come closer to matching.
He hated thinking about how he and Virgil met. He hated what had been going through his mind while he attacked him. He hated the fact that Virgil was the most delicious human he had ever tasted.
It had been something that had always been at the back of his mind, something he refused to acknowledge. Virgil tasted fucking incredible and there was nothing any of them could do about it. If Patton hadn’t been there to stop him, what had happened in his dream would have been reality.
He looked over Virgil at Patton, hugging the end of Janus’s tail like a teddy bear. He was the only one out of the four of them that hadn’t actually tried to kill Virgil, wasn’t he? No, he had saved Virgil from Logan’s own bloodlust. Wow, what a great boyfriend he was.
He sighed, turning over to stare at the clock. It was three AM, that was only three hours earlier than he would usually wake up. Might as well get up then.
Virgil had gone off to work and Roman had decided to visit his brother. The moment both of them left, Janus pulled Logan aside, wrapping his tail around him and almost pulling him close enough to touch noses. “Is something bothering you, love?” Janus spoke softly.
“Of course not.” Even Logan could tell he responded too quickly. Janus smiled.
“Well there has to be a reason why you kept staring at Virgil this morning. I know he’s absolutely gorgeous but there has to be a reason other than that.” Logan sighed. He knew how Janus was; he refused to give up until whoever he was talking to admitted what they were struggling with. It was something he both hated and loved about him.
“...You came close to killing him too, didn’t you?” The question threw off the naga for a moment, yellow and brown eyes widening. Janus hummed, nodding.
“So that’s the issue.” He sighed. “Well yes, I did. If I had held him for maybe five more seconds he would’ve passed out, and if I didn’t notice by then I likely would’ve eaten him alive. It’s in the past though, all is forgiven.”
“What if we realized afterward that he was our soulmate? What if you had looked at your tail and seen that Virgil’s mark was gone after he was dead and eaten?” Janus looked him up and down, concern flooding his eyes.
“Did you have a nightmare like that, darling?” Logan nodded hesitantly. Janus paused, arms hooked around Logan’s neck, his hand drifting up to run his fingers through Logan’s hair.
“I’ve gotten those, too. They’re tough to see, aren’t they?” Logan closed his eyes, allowing himself to go limp in Janus’s arms and coils as the naga pulled him even closer, holding him with all the care in the world.
“We’ve been around him long enough to not harm him. I know with how annoying he can be at times it’s hard to restrain yourself, but it seems like we still manage.” He chuckled. “And our first meetings are in the past now. They were awful first impressions, sure, and we’ll always remember what it was like to nearly kill him, but we know that they won’t happen again.”
Logan hummed, nose nuzzled into Janus’s shoulder. Janus killed through suffocation, though. Logan was the one who actually bit him and tasted his blood. And the taste and scent of that blood was what constantly hung in his mind, something he would always crave but could never get. At least not without consequences.
Janus unwrapped himself a bit, delivering a soft kiss on Logan’s lips and looking him over to make sure he was alright. Logan heard humming from the doorway, smelling Patton waiting just outside. Knowing him he had probably walked in and saw what was going on, opting to wait until they were done rather than joining in.
The vampire peeked his head in to check, before deeming them done and smiling happily. “You two having a cuddle party without me?” He gave Logan a kiss on the cheek before moving over to do the same to Janus.
“We were simply talking about an issue Logan had.” Patton immediately turned back to Logan, eyes full of concern, and Logan wished Janus had just spun one of his lies to get him out of this.
“It was nothing serious, I’m fine.”
“You sure, Logi Bear?” Logan hesitated. Patton was a vampire, he would understand something like this better than Janus or Roman would. But how the hell was he supposed to word it?
“...Virgil tastes incredible.”
“He does!” Patton giggled, a wide smile on his lips. “He let me drink his blood once, it was so good! I was scared I would kill him though, so I didn’t get much of it.”
“It’s very sweet, isn’t it?”
“Like candy!” Patton agreed. Janus looked between the two, accepting in his mind that this was really where the conversation was turning.
“Is there a way that you, ah...” Logan cleared his throat, “a way that you’ve learned to cope with that?” Patton’s brows scrunched in confusion, and he quickly rushed to explain. “Being around him all the time must be rather difficult, as he always...smells like our form of candy, I suppose you could word it.”
“Oh!” Patton’s eyes widened, before his cheeks went red. “Yeah, sometimes I just really wanna bite him. It’s an annoying thing to deal with, huh?” Logan nodded silently. “But like I overheard Jan tell you, we’ve been around him too long to actually hurt him. And I know you especially have a lot of self-control when it matters, so...try not to worry too much about it. You’re probably the least likely out of all of us to hurt him.”
“You were the one that stopped me when we first met him.” Logan spoke quietly. Patton shrugged, floating a few inches above the ground as he thought.
“But you were the one who got to him first. If I was the one that had tackled him, you probably would’ve had to pull me off! You have enough self-control to stop yourself with just a bit of help from us.” Patton took Logan’s hand, running his thumb across his knuckles. “I think that kinda proves that you won’t lose control and hurt him.”
Janus sighed, itching at an old bit of shed snakeskin. “We’ve all worried about what would happen if we lost control. And the truth is that it’s possible, probably more than likely, that we’ll end up hurting him at some point.”
The thought made them all go silent as it weighed down on their psyches. Hurting each other, especially their weaker human boyfriend, was the last thing they wanted to do, and they were all sure they would rather die than harm any of the others.
“But, it hasn’t happened yet, and we’re doing all we can right now to make sure it’s as least likely as possible.” Janus curled his tail around his boyfriends’ legs, snapping them out of the worried, distant blurriness in their eyes. “Let’s not worry too much about a future we can’t see yet, okay?”
They nodded, a weight feeling as though it had been lifted off Logan’s chest, as he for once didn’t plan out the rest of his day, instead opting to join Janus and Patton in what the two had dubbed self-care time, lying on the couch watching cartoons as the future grew blurry and distant.

Hey! Just a couple of random drawings here!I'll list all the ideas and explanations behind these drawings here:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
1) Idea: Will is sick (Mason's come down with it too- and by how close Mabel is to him by trying to comfort him, she'll get it too... aww), the Gleeful twins (they're about 10 or 11 here) refuse to go to bed (which may or may not have been down to a dangerous mix of Mabel Juice and Smile Dip), Bill refuses to leave his twin until he's better so he let himself into the mansion, and Kill's playing the big brother card and refusing to leave too, instead deciding to settle down on Bill's head to watch it all. :) Ah, bliss. So, what does Stanford do? The only thing he can, drug them into submission begrudgingly read them a bedtime story about a few "adventures" he's had. Oh well...
2) Idea: Stanford and Fiddleford find one of those novelty character photo stands, and stick their heads in the holes to take a photo for a laugh. The end result is two quite weird looking "disney princess " photos.
3) Idea: Vampire Will! I'll run through what's happening in each Still!
(Top left) Will is blood-starved (which is when he's either refused or unable to get, blood) and goes crazy trying to get some. He still manages to looks cute to me in a way. And yes, when he gets mad, he goes red, just like his twin! Aww! (But don't laugh, he's thirsty and it looks like you're next...)
(Top right) Will feeding off of someone, but they've been fed from many times before... can you guess who it is (Hint, look at that "tattoo"...)?
(Left middle) During one of the times that Will is blood-starved, he walks to Dipper's college dorm (crossing through a portal to get to Gravity Falls- thankfully, DipDop is out that evening; the two of them "share" a dorm in college, even if Bill doesn't actually go to classes, he's just there to spend time with his Pine Tree), stumbling a little. Bill smiles, just happy to see his little bro, and lets him in without even questioning it (and here we see the very rare thing called "Bill's innocence"). Will asks him for a hug, saying only that he felt a bit lonely so he came to see him, and Bill accepts straight away, going in for the hug. But he's horrified to see Will's face flicker from sad to lust (FOR BLOOD. FOR BLOOD!) for just a second, but before he can do anything, Will's already bitten him several times in just a matter of a few seconds (vampire speed + vampire magic + demon speed + demonic powers = run the hell away from that OP b*tch). Bill staggers back, falling to the floor, and although Will tries to "switch back" to himself, he can't, and getting a taste of (demon) blood didn't help. The end result is... well... Bill ends up losing a heck of a lot of blood, there is one very surprised Pine Tree who comes home in the morning to find Bill passed out on the floor, and one very drunken Will, who drank way too much (especially because it's demon) blood, and it has an effect like being high/stoned or being intoxicated, it just depends. That was a fun morning.
(Middle right) Someone forcing Will's hunger to grow by smashing a vial of angel blood in his face (which by the way, tastes irresistible to him), which can be used to lure said vampire-demon if used in the right way... A smear of angel blood here on a victim and a smear of angel blood there on a victim, aaaaannnndddd... it'd be enough to send him reeling; poor victim :( And no, they (a normal victim at least; 'angel blood' victims don't stand a chance) won't get turned, they'll bleed out unless someone helps them out, because there's a special venom that Will has to inject with his fangs if he wants to turn someone... so don't think you have a chance of survival, unless:
A) He manages to get himself back and decides to help you out
B) You're a child- because Will will NOT attack children, no matter how much he wants to. There has been only one time (he was forced to by Fidds and Ford for an experiment), and he had to be left in the basement for a week before he calmed down...
C) You find him another victim quick enough (of all the three options, this is the one with the least hope- so say goodbye now while you're at it)
(Bottom right) Will's coffin! It's white, with his name written on the front in black letters written on it in cursive (though as he grows 'older', he does prefer a less 'curly' font, but at first, he likes to stick to his old style of writing- from when he was just a demon). He doesn't have to sleep in it, he can sleep in a bed-, which he does do at first, but he finds it safer in case he accidentally wakes up to find the sun's rays glaring down at him... which won't hurt him exactly, but it's not exactly the nicest feeling either...
(Middle) Blood-starved Will...
Will: "I'-It's [the restraining belt] a little t-tight, Bill. Could you t-take it off, p-please? It hurts...."
Bill: "I know Blue, I-I'm... sorry... but I can't... It's not... It's not..."
Will: "It's not... safe... is it?
Bill: "Oh, Will... No... If course it's safe, I just-"
Will (distorted): "WELL THEN WHAT, BILL?! WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO? I'M STARVING!" *grabs bars, shakes them, growls*
Bill (quietly): *backs away* Will... this isn't you... St-stop it...
Will (quietly): *backs away into 'cell', sniff* Bill...?
Bill: *looks up*
Both: *run to each other, hug through bars*
Bill: "I love you, Blue..." (AS BROTHERS!)
Will: "What's happening to m-me, Bill...?"
Bill: *runs hand through Will's hair* "I don't know, Will..."
Both: *crying profusely*
Aww...
Backstory time! (This could change a little, in time, but here's the rough idea-)
Well, at first, no-one thinks that being bitten by a rogue vampire is going to affect a demon that much...
At first the signs on Will are subtle, like becoming more and more sensitive to sunlight and tending to stay away from more people, unless he trusts them or knows them well... but he was fine.
Soon the signs become more severe, and he develops a sort of hunger eating (that pun tho...) away at him, and his senses are starting to get overwhelmed. But he was fine.
All in all, for first few months, Will can pretty much (mostly) just try to ignore the signs, just blaming it in being stressed rather than everything else. He could still serve under the Gleefuls (especially Stanford and Mason, hint hint ;)) without them noticing too much; the only people to noticeably be worried about him were Dipper and Mabel (Pines), and his brother- whom he was allowed to visit every once in a while. So things weren't exactly alright, but he was fine.
Until his bite marks disappear...
One Friday evening, after a particularly draining show (in which he had to use quite a bit of energy), Will is set to serve the evening tea. At first, everything is fine, and he barely notices anything is wrong.
But just as he walks into the dining room, a sharp pain pierces his neck, causing him to shriek, fall, and drop the dinner plates all over the floor. He quickly attempts to get up to clean it up, and Mason tries to help him too (if only to mock him at first), but before he can leave a snidy remark and walk away with a smirk, Will grabs his hand.
The blue demon switches back and forth between himself and the fledgling merging with him, letting go of Mason's hand as he tries to stay in control. He has visions of blood running down the walls, making him panic and feel like he's drowning, and then feeling like he can't breathe.
Flashes of consciousness of him feeding on Mason (whilst the poor boy frantically struggles to get away from him) phase through the visions to him, but ultimately, he cannot stop it. He "wakes up"on the floor, with Mason bleeding out by the wrist next to him, before Mabel rushes to help Mason. Will sees Stanford approach him, and Ford drags Will up by the collar, and down to the basement, locking him down there. He observes Will from a distance- from a camera in another room- before he begins to notice Will losing himself as he soon tries to get out as his vampire side lets paranoia about being trapped, set in. Will essentially goes "feral" banging on the bars, baring his teeth/currently-lengthened fangs, growling, hissing, rocking back and forth, pounding on the walls... you get the message. After a while, Stanford decided (even though he would usually just let Will suffer) to try to anathetise Will, before eventually just giving up and filling the room with narcotic gases to make him sleep. After a couple of coughing fits, Will finally passes out, and Stanford comes in, resolving to typing his arms next to him with an enchanted belt, so that Will can't free himself, no matter how hard he tries. He also puts a special collar on him, like a shock collar but it can also administer small amounts of the narcotics, if Stanford so wishes. So, with done, he lets Will sleep until the morning, just waiting to observe his actions... And so, when Will is denied/refused, or unable to obtain blood or energy (because he can feed off of people's energy too, it's just not a effective and fills the hunger for much less longer) then that, is when he is blood-starved, so he'll probably anything just to get some, though let it be said, the longer he has to wait, the greeider he'll become. There have been numerous experiments between Fidds and Ford, to see how long will could actually go for without attacking someone whilst blood-starved, unbeknownst to poor Will :(. But regardless of that, the record if around 2 hours and 1 minute...
(If you have any further questions, ask away!)
