30 Days of the Cornetto Trilogy Challenge || Day 22: A moment from your past that you would love to relive
I didn’t know how to answer the question so I’m drawing girls flirting with each other because I can. I don’t really have one moment, and if I start saying little things it would be a long eternal list with things like “I want to remember how this sweet tasted when I was a kid before they changed the receipt” or “Watch/read my fave things for the first time” and stuff like that

2016 VoicePlay fall roundup — projects galore, frequent travels, and holiday cheer
As summer rolled into autumn, VoicePlay just kept rolling on their various creative fronts.
While the other guys were cruising in the northeast, Tony and Layne were hard at work back home, prepping and filming PattyCake's first Halloween video.
Tumblr media
.
California schemin'
Once the sailors were rested up, most of the guys headed for the west coast. They spent two days in Los Angeles filming collaboration videos, first with Kurt Hugo Schneider ajnd then with AJ Rafael.
Tumblr media
On the upside, their absence from Florida meant that they didn't have to take shelter from Hurricane Matthew. Unfortunately, Tony wasn't involved in the videos (for reasons that would soon become clear) and was supposed to be on a later flight than the others. He didn't make it out of Orlando before the airport was shut down.
From L.A., the guys hopped up the coast to San Francisco to perform at a benefit concert for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation hosted by the Alpha Epsilon Phi fraternity at Stanford University. With Tony stuck at home, the fellas called in their old buddy Paul Sperrazza from Vox Audio to pinch hit as their baritone for the night.
Tumblr media
.
Squeeze me in
After a few days at home, the guys hit the road again. They started with three days of student workshops in eastern Ohio.
During the week, they set their social media followers the challenge of finding them among the crowds of students and faculty at some of the schools. (Can you spot them all? The kids make surprisingly good camouflage.)

On the final day, they worked with the choirs from two local high schools, who then joined them for a show at Kent State Tuscarawas the following night.

From there, the guys headed south to West Memphis, AR for another concert and a workshop at the local high school the day after that. One crafty fan brought them homemade VP logo cookies.

Next they flew up to NYC to perform at a fundraiser for the Lupus Foundation of America.

Then they scooted upstate to Rochester for a show at Nazareth College before finally heading home.

Happy holiday-ween
Once they returned to Orlando, it was time to buckle down on rehearsals for their second year at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, so that they'd all be able to hit the stage running in November. (Layne did take the time in the middle of the week to have dinner with their old friend Jeff Thatcher and introduce him to Doris, though.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The extra twist this year was that, on top of getting themselves and their backup guys ready to perform their holiday setlists, these performances would also be their next step toward formally acknowledging Tony's departure. He wouldn't be joining the other guys on stage in Tomorrowland this season. Instead, they would alternate between two replacement baritones, Erik Winger and J.None, who would continue performing with them into the new year, until the group could decide on a new permanent member.
.
No trick, all treats
At the end of the month, Geoff & Kathy announced that baby Castellucci was on the way at long last. They shared a short video documenting some of their challenging road to parenthood on Geoff's personal YouTube channel.
Tumblr media
and baby makes three… er, five?

WARNING: This video contains footage of Kathy receiving many injections in her belly and buttocks. As a result, she engages in some pain-induced swearing. Understandable, but probably NSFW.

One of the pumpkins from the baby reveal was then repurposed to create VoicePlay's social media posts for the day of Halloween.

North to South (Carolina)
After a week and a half at home, the guys moseyed up to South Carolina for a pair of shows in Aiken, this time with Erik Winger as their substitute baritone.
A group of fans, perturbed by some negativity they'd been seeing directed toward the guys in YouTube comments and on social media, had been conspiring amongst themselves to counteract that energy. They'd created a book of positive messages and images. The two friends who had volunteered to collect and deliver everyone's submissions also documented the presentation during the post-show meet and greet on the first night so that all the contributors could see the guys' initial reactions.

The second day also held a few surprises.

Sing, laugh, and be merry
And then it was off to the races. VoicePlay began their second annual residency in Tomorrowland for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Disney World in early November. For nearly 100 performances over the course of six weeks, they once again entertained thousands upon thousands of visitors to the Magic Kingdom.
Tumblr media
.
Hardcore mode
In between MVMCP shows, the guys continued doing their other jobs. Among other things, that meant Earl was lucky enough to be playing Crush in the Nemo live show when iconic professional wrestler Mick Foley was in the audience.

Having a full cast of replacement singers came in handy during the second week of Disney World shows. VoicePlay had also booked a holiday concert down in Delray Beach for the Friday before Thanksgiving. So, while Winger filled in for Tony on the road, J.None and the rest of Echo took to the Tomorrowland stage in full force.
Eli and Ashley even left a day early and took a detour to attend a Carrie Underwood show in Tampa on the way.
.
VoicePlaying for Gamecocks
At the beginning of December, VoicePlay headed up to South Carolina with Winger once more for their last non-Disney holiday concert of the year at USC.
Tumblr media
.
Bubblicious
In early December, some of the guys finally got to meet the British music blogger who had been singing their praises for several years when his vacation itinerary brought him to the Magic Kingdom.
Tumblr media
.
Caroling we roll along
Their final video shoot of the year was also the final entry in their first set of PartWork videos, a gentle rendition of "O Little Town of Bethlehem". With the announcement of Tony's departure drawing closer, the other four guys were all featured in this video in their usual roles, and Geoff did double duty to cover the baritone part.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
.
VoicePlates
As a fun little end-of-year treat, their pal (and former 4:2:Five tenor) Danny Alan stumbled upon some holiday paper goods that bore a surprisingly familiar looking design.
Tumblr media
.
The guys finally took the last few days of the year to relax and rest in preparation for their hectic start to the new year, but those are stories for another time.

Would you ever consider leaving London? I moved from London to Margate in Kent and I can’t believe how much better my quality of life is. I can afford my rent, and even have a small garden, I spend much more time outside etc. it was really difficult for me to come to terms with the prospect of leaving London, but now I wish I had left earlier. I love this blog and relate so much to so many of your posts! Take care of yourself! ❤️
Yes, but if I had the opportunity of moving I wouldn't want to stay in this country! Also the only things I like about this country (my friends, my history, places I love, the creative communities, job opportunities) are in London so I'm trapped here for now haha. I loved Dory's in Margate! It's such a cute place and I'm glad you realised that about London, it's really not for everyone and I have known quite a few people to leave. I hate when people talk shit about this city though, like when they say there's no community here or that its only rich people etc. I have such a different experience of the city.
Personally, I need a city to live in. I don't really find I need a garden or loads of time in nature to be happy (nature to me is parks and pavements lol), and the issue of rent is something I think needs to be controlled in cities because working class people need a decent quality of life here, and people deserve to not have their communities uprooted. Gentrification has been killing every working class London neighbourhood. I see how moving out of London is a practical, but I would never leave here voluntarily. If I was, like many people are, forced to leave London because of rent prices I would be absolutely devastated. I get why people see moving out of the city as a viable option for happiness, but so many of us have homes and lives and communities here, that the solution to high rent cant be destroying our lives! That's what the Conservative government wants, the neoliberal attitude introduced by Margaret Thatcher has been devastating us for decades and I always feel anger when people (not you, but others) have said to me "just leave London" like the city is the problem - I've never once said I was unhappy in this city or that it was part of my struggles, people have always inferred/projected that - instead of the way the country is being governed or that its the individuals responsibility to change and upheave their lives.
But yeah, no cities are cheap and London has always been my home. I guess that's it, that I can't really comprehend moving because I feel at home? Not everyone feels such an affinity with where they are born, but I do. I think if I had been born elsewhere I'd come here. I wonder if the 10 years I was away not living in London that were the worst years of my life made me long for it more. I'd love to live in New York, Paris, San Francisco, Hanoi, Tokyo, etc but that's not on the cards for me. Never say never and I hope my prospects change radically in the next few years lol, but those are the only places I am drawn to. I have considered Toronto because it's got a music scene, but having spoken to friends in bands from that scene its not anything to move for. I just know my world and life would collapse if I left everything I've worked so hard to build for myself here, all the roots I've got here. If I was just interested in writing and didn't socialise or have any aspirations in fashion, photography or music I actually think I'd still be in a city.
I love being able to leave my flat and walk to 3 or 4 different independent bookshops and the most amazing secondhand bookshops. I love that I can be in the same city but feel in an entirely different place and still get home in the evening. I love feeling loyal to the area of London I've spent so many years in. I love all the different food and cuisines I can get here. I love all the different people and cultures I can meet. I hated being away from multiculturalism when I lived in a British seaside town. Maybe one day London will feel too small to me, it's definitely possible because I've spent almost 20 years here, but hopefully if and when that happens I'll be in a position to move to another country. I think if I left, in some ways it would just be a way of prolonging coming back. So ultimately, if I was able to yes I'd move to a different city but for the experience because I choose to sacrifice financial security for pursuing a creative metropolitan lifestyle (which has got harder because of David Cameron, George Osborne, Theresa May and Rishi Sunak etc), but London is always going to be my home.

Tumblr media
Kim Taehyung - Tim Messenger very sweet, makes little mistakes sometimes and that's ok cause he’s just adorable. thinks outside the box. v concerned about honesty. looks at the bigger picture and no one really gets what's happening until it's over. always on the money despite seemingly unaware of the world around him. wanna put him in my pocket
Tumblr media
Jungkook - Danny Butterman v endearing. surprisingly capable at everything even though you thought he wasn't listening during the briefing. likes manly men and cool things and superheros. highkey 12 years old in a 25 year old body. really really in love with Nicholas Angel/Namjoon. loyalty to those he loves. good at impressions. loves ice cream, looks cute in a cowboy hat. has that vacant expression sometimes and u know he’s daydreaming about something utterly bizarre

Fil di Ferro: Torino fucina metallica
Contesto
In Italia
In esso è stato ripreso Give me your hand registrata precedentemente da Giordy come singolo.

Her name is Doris and she lives in Bradford... Hans Zimmer is one of Hollywood's most sought after composer's - he's worked on over 500 projects in film and tv from blockbuster movies to documentaries like the Frozen Planet. Even if you don't know his name, you will have heard his music. Of course there are many factors to his success, such as his outstanding talent and being good to work with, but one thing really jumped out at me whilst watching Hans Zimmer: Hollywood Rebel. He has a client avatar and for every movie score he composes he asks "what would Doris think?" His avatar comes from when he was playing working men's clubs in northern England in a band he joined after leaving school. In his words: "We were the entertainment nobody listened to. We were so bad. Up north, We would be the support act to the stripper. And it was interesting because it was the 80s and it was Margaret. Thatcher and it was coal miners strike. Woh, it was rough up north. People were so frustrated. You know you left London and you entered another world, entered another country and this country was a country that was desperate and it was poor, and it was everything that you could only imagine of the left behind and of the forgotten. And to this day I have this person I write my music for, and she's fictitious. She's called Doris and she lives in Bradford, and she has a great coat, and you know uncertain age. She's got two terrible boys, I mean they are so Ill behaved and her hair dye job isn't very good, you know and she works really hard throughout the week. And come the weekend she has a choice. She has a choice of going to the pub, having a drink, or she has a choice for coming and seeing one of our movies. And she's a hero to me because she works hard. And so when she comes to see one of our movies, I want to make sure that she gets her money's worth. And I promise you I mean, every movie I sit there and I go what would Doris think?" Who is your hero? Who is your Doris?

30 Days of the Cornetto Trilogy Challenge ||  Day 28: Anything you would change?
Ok so I wouldn’t really change anything about the movies cause I believe* in accepting the things as they are instead of what they could be, cause if not you would never like anything, just their potential, BUT....... gosh I wish the girls were written with as much love and care as the guys and had more screentime >_> Twe and Hot fuzz specially is like there is not even a lot of secondary girl characters. Sam is literally the only human woman in Newton Haven pls.
Anyway there is a lack of charas that arent white cishet guys in general, and I’m glad in stuff that Pegg and Wright did later there is a bit more of variety.
Also I know angelbutter is canon but I wish it was canon-canon extra canon do u feel me
*I believe in theory sadly in practice is harder
