Imagine if Sorscha had lived. 

Through some miracle, Sorscha, the rebel healer survived and stayed hidden for her safety. 

Though despite the fact that she was hunted for being a rebel, working against the former King, Sorscha did all she could to help heal whoever she came in contact with. Hiding herself in the war camps of Aelin Ashryver Galathynius when they walked through Erilea where she joined under the guise of a young healer from Terrasen who wanted nothing but heal those who needed it. 

Imagine when Sorscha somehow comes in contact with Yrene, the young healers instantly becoming close with their shared histories and love for healing, the two almost seeming as if they were sisters torn from birth. 

Imagine when one day as Chaol walks with Dorian through the healing rooms to when he sees another healer beside her.

Sorscha drops the tray she’s holding as she sees both men, eyes watering as she runs past the glass and jumps into Dorian’s arms. 

Dorian, despite everything that’s happening, falls to his knees as he holds her, crying for that moment. The moment everything finally makes sense again. 

With tears both on their cheeks, Dorian brushes her hair aside and then, their lips are on each other. 

Chaol smiles, Yrene quietly crying beside him as they both looked at the couple. “Adarlan needs a healer as its Queen.”

Healing Queen

Her eyes are the only thing he can think about. His mind containing ever second spent with her. The honey eyes with those striking green specs, the smooth voice that calmed every nerve within his body, her golden skin intertwined with his own body, every stolen moment. But not only the stolen ones, but the the ones that they’d shred in the public eye, after admitting the reality of the relationship to his father. Not too long after, the two were engaged, to be married after the war.

After long , days and nights on the battlefield, followed by months rebuilding his country from the destruction it had suffered during this terrible war. The day he’d been waiting for was finally here. King Dorian Havilliard II, was finally going to marry the love of his life.

Standing at the end of the aisle, right in front of the new thrones that had been made for him and his wife to be. His made from different materials, the majority of it glad shaped like icicles, the rest crafted to show every form of magic that exists. Hers crafted of wood, flowers carved within it, the throne of the healing queen. Dorian’s kept he’s eyes trained on the door to the new throne room. Next to him stood his best friend.

The music begins, just as the doors swing open, and in flow the beautiful girls in their golden flowing gowns. Then comes Sorscha, looking queenly as ever. A white gown, with beautiful lace detailing and an open back. As she walked in, he felt his heart melt just the slightest. When she reaches the end of the aisle and stands before him, the smiles they both wear can only be described as those of two love struck people. The ceremony goes on as usual and by the end of the vows, there are tears on cheeks of both the king and queen. To close off the ceremony they sit upon their thrones. Both looking as regal as ever. The true king and queen of Adarlan. The Ice King and Healing Queen.

I loved dorscha. I know it was o ly made for plot convenience but she was so different from all of sjm characters. She was strong but in a feminine way not like the bs she tried to make with Celaena in the dress. Her home was burned in front of her, parents killed in front of her, had to live her life in the castle of the man that did all that shir to her. And instead of whining about it, she took action, not with a sword, but with her words and her kindness, she became a spy and a healer

Part two of dorscha ask And in the hands of a better writer we would have been introduced to dorscha in book 2 when she was saving DORIAN, CHAOL AND CELAENA'S ass by not only healing them but not reporting the injuries after they fought the wyvern and opening a magic pathway which sorscha knew was illegal. We should have had a POV of her finding out information and secret pathways in the castle and meeting ren and agreeing to become a rebel. She would have been the perfect protagonist.

Absolutely, I love Sorscha for this reason. I honestly don’t remember many specifics about her because I read H0F when it came out, but I do completely love the idea of a refugee becoming pivotal to the movement against a tyrant who ruined her home and family. I agree that she should have had a lot more significant of a role and a POV--what did killing her do except propel D0rian down a regressive path and make room for endless smut in E0S? As a spy, she could have been a major source of information and a connecting factor between all the characters SJ/M was trying to pull into the picture by K0A. By H0F, Ansel, Nox, Lisandra, Kaltain, Nesrin, Irene (before she became gross), the pirates, Arobin, and E/lide are loose ends in the story. What if she was in contact with some or all of them, or maybe spying on them? Sorscha’s story is harrowing but I love that she never lost her values and she remained a kind and loving person who was passionate about her home and protecting people. That’s true badass, unlike Alien, whose “badass” traits slowly turned her into a tyrant. As I always say, Sorscha deserved better. There was literally no reason for her to die, and her death is especially ugly considering it’s one of the most violent and explicit in the series, she was a good person, and she was the only black character in the books right after Nehemia also died with gratuitous violence in book 2. I’d read a novella about Sorscha over all the Ratalien smut in the world any day.

You now, in Polish Dorscha (Dorian x Sorscha) sounds almost the same as Dorsz, which in our language name for codfish. 

So... this is great ship, it can even swim ^^

Another ship name, Dolaena ( Dorian x Celaena, i don’t know if it’s the most popular name for them, but it’s correct) has exactly the same pronunciation as valley in our language (dolina) 

So imagine how much fun we have creating those names.

Sorscha/Dorian (eternal sobbing)

Chooses the pumpkin: Sorscha chooses a tiny one, but she’s so cute about it that Dorian concedes and carries it home.

Carves the pumpkin: Initially Dorian tries to, but then he cuts his finger on the knife, and Sorscha yells at him until he lets her take over. She’s much better at it anyway.

Gets scared and clings the other in a haunted house: Sorscha KNOWS she’ll get scared, but she’s surprised when the first jump scare happens and Dorian shrieks even louder than her. She ends up laughing too much at his fear to actually feel scared the rest of the way through.

Matching costume idea: Dorian has a bunch of ideas, but he’s too nervous to bring any of them up. Finally, Sorscha corners him and pouts until he tells her his best idea. They end up being Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor. Dorian’s costume is pretty lame actually, but Sorscha looks so cute in her tiara and gauntlets that he can’t stop smiling all night.

Makes a cozy bed-fort to cuddle in: Dorian! He makes it in Sorscha’s room and she blushes bright red, but she’s so pleased. Especially because of how cute and proud Dorian is of the fort (despite how lop-sided it is).

Steal’s the other’s candy: Sorscha. Dorian has a huge sweet-tooth, but he doesn’t notice she’s stealing his candy, until he reaches for the last piece and it’s already gone. He tickles her until she’s crying as punishment.

Accidentally gets lost in a corn maze: Dorian. Sorscha takes ONE SECOND to admire a really cool scarecrow, and suddenly he’s gone! She has to yell his name for ten minutes before she finds him pouting at a dead-end.

Tells spooky stories to scare the other: Sorscha. Sorscha. SORSCHA!!! Dorian actually gets really scared, and he has to sleep in her bed with her. But she’s pretty pleased about the whole thing.

Collects cool-looking leaves: Both of them. And they really excitedly show the other, and keep a shared collection. They’re huge dorks about the whole thing.

Opinions on Dorscha?

Well, @spaceshipkat has made me a shipper of Sorschemia, but I do like D0rscha! To tell the truth, I don’t remember much of what happened between them because I read H0F when it came out in 2014, but I did ship them back then. My main issue with the ship is that there’s a weird power dynamic between them, what with D0rian being crown prince and S0rscha having crushed on him for years before they started talking. Otherwise, they’re so much more pure and cute than literally anything Ratalien or Failsand has ever done. I like both D0rian and S0rscha, and tHEY BOTH DESERVE HAPPY ENDINGS, OKAY?!?!?!?!

It’s no secret that I wish S0rscha wasn’t so obviously a throwaway love interest to shut down Cel0rian shippers. I have this theory that SJ/M knew deep within her soul that S0rscha had too powerful of a page presence, too much big dick energy, if you will (sorry to use a phallocentric term lmao but I don’t know a more appropriate term to describe S0rscha’s power), to stay alive, so SJ/M killed her before people could start loving her over Alien and she took over A/darlan with her amazing skills.
