Hey, MST3K fandom, does anyone know what Dr Donna St Phibes said on the Synthia Selects about Devil Fish (more than just the brief synopsis on the internet please)? I'm going to work on a pretty big fanfic duology at some point and from what I know, it sounds like fascinating world building.

I was thinking in the abstract about the mst3k psychonauts au and maybe I could combine dr st phibes (or just donna since she’s still a kid at that point) with her lord of the deep’s powers
so like when she gets too stressed she accidentally causes “noise” in people’s brains/making them see those trippy rings

Stay tuned after the movie for a very special guest, Dr. Donna St. Phibes of the St. Phibes Habitat for B-Movie Monsters. It’s gonna be a lot of fun!

How can Kinga and Max be Frank and Forrester’s biological kids when F&F were clearly in a committed relationship? Were they just two babies that F&F decided to hold on to for more than just an episode?
I would answer that Baptist born and bred and educated Joel Hodgson doesn’t like that TV’s Frank and Dr. Clayton Forrester were ever a couple, implied or otherwise. Their relationship got way more evident after Joel left the original show, and if you step back, you can see Joel went out of his way to make the new show NO HOMO, in my opinion. It’s made clear that Max is heterosexual, Kinga is heterosexual, Jonah is heterosexual, and now there’s a female Bonehead (who wears a skirt so you know she’s a girl!) to match up with the male Boneheads and Kinga and Max are written to be more of a couple and Jonah is given Dr. Donna St. Phibes as a love interest in the season finale. So, in retrospect, it’s confirmed in episode 1204 that Dr. Forrester got together with a real actual woman, of course, he wasn’t gay, are you kidding? And if Dr. F wasn’t gay, then TV’s Frank couldn’t have been gay, either, quid pro quo.
Don’t think about the timelines involved unless you want a headache.

Gift art from the Halloween MST3K Live show--This one was sent home with Jonah and Deanna. Thank goodness I think we should be out of spoiler territory by now.
Deanna is Dr. Donna St. Phibes, B-movie monster conservationist. She cares for them on her own ship, the Ark-3 (funded by a generous grant from Totino’s Pizza Rolls: COUCH HARD), and they even have their own environments in which they are allowed to thrive. (There’s Tropical, Arctic, Desert-y, Danish and Black & White.)  We first learned about her during the tour, and of course, I think she’s fantastic.
Because Jonah’s mentioned one of his favorite MST moments is “Trumpy, you can do stupid things!”, I couldn’t help putting him in a position to meet that weird little beastie.
Sketched in pencil, inked with Pigma Micron pens, colored with Copic, Spectrum Noir, and Artist’s Loft markers on Bristol board, cut to a hex that’s about 7 inches across at each of the widest points.
Yeah, I didn’t make framing easy this time. Sorry, guys. >_<

I did a second art drop for the MST3K Live double feature in Atlanta, this time with a parody upon a parody. Sure, you’ll recognize the reference to The Breakfast Club, but did you know that was gleefully parodied by Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2? They had dueling billboards in Hollywood way back when. Genius.
When I posted this on Instagram, you’ll never guess who got the right answer first, almost immediately. ;)
(More colored pencil work on Bristol.)
