Writing is wild BC I'll feel like I've stagnated after a busy week at work where I get home and I'm too tired to write, but all I can think about is finishing the story (so I can start on the sequel), so I want to write but I'm too tired to write. Then the insecurities go "you must not be good at writing then" and you spend the week where you didn't actually do any writing comparing yourself to other popular fic writers in the fandom (who are wonderful and talented) and putting yourself down because you feel drained and rubbish. It's like the blinders are on and you can't see all the nice reviews and fanart you just think you're lacking somehow, and then the end of the week comes and you go "man that thought cycle was whack, maybe I was putting too much pressure on myself, I should take a break and focus on things other than this fic" and then you're back to square one of feeling like a bad writer lmao.

It's the Catholic guilt lmao. Or the capitalism productivity guilt? Either way I think it's dumb and I would like my brain to get over itself and just get back to writing because you like it and it's fun.

So there might be more of a delay in finishing the fic than I'd like. Hopefully y'all don't mind waiting more than a month 🥺
