20 July - There was a man Renfield who swallowed a fly. I don't know why he swallowed a fly. Perhaps he'll die.

So. Finally. Dr. Seward's entries went full TMA today. Maybe our doc is dealing with an avatar of The Flesh? Or he i s indeed an avatar of The Spiral? I'm not entirely sure yet. But I'm so darn intrigued to learn more!

I don’t know why but Renfield and Dr. Seward have the same energy as me at my first job cause on my lunch break I’d pop over to Walmart, grab a rotisserie chicken, pop back over to work (the buildings were across the street from each other) and then I’d just sit there and eat this entire chicken for my lunch. And I thought this was perfectly normal behavior until we brought on this new girl, and she was like hmmmm, what are my lunch options and me being super helpful told her about grabbing those rotisserie chickens. Anyway, she looked at me like she was thinking ‘my maniac is of a peculiar kind’

Seward, mate, you’re beginning to lose it in that asylum of yours. You need to get out, get some air, see your friends. And stop entertaining the ideas of a madman— be it theoretical or otherwise. You’re flirting with even the idea of pushing the ethical boundaries of your conducted research is starting to scare me.
