You’ve answered a lot of world building questions with “whatever’s is AFAC/ACAF”so is your au like a cousin au to AFAC, like obviously your not as close as ACAF but if I were to make an AU family tree would your universes be close?

Probably. Considering I got a lot of my head canons and world building ideas from TQ and other creators I enjoy. @askfriskandcompany was one of the first ask blogs I came into contact with when I discovered the fandom, so it formed a lot of they way I think about Undertale.

I think if it were on a family tree, it'd be like... a cousin some steps removed or something. Not first cousins, but like, 2nd cousins once removed or something like that.

Hello moot! I’ve been sitting on this ask for over a month because I wanted to have something nice and fun to say but that is just not how life is going right now so here we are.

It has been a hell of a limbo between work and health issues but on the upside I have been enjoying the Stardew Valley 1.6 update (not very far in yet). Otherwise the angst is truly angsting.

is no one teaching the children the concept of "limited edition" items any longer?? it's not a cosmic injustice that I was too young to grab a copy of MtG’s Black Lotus back when it was $12.50; it's just the passage of time. (I don't play MtG, but this felt like a reasonably well-known example.)

—and, unlike that Black Lotus example, or indeed most other collector's items, we can and do still get to have imperials!! just not the imperial equivalent of "extremely rare limited edition first printing." we are doing REALLY well for ourselves, as availability of limited edition items go!

idk, I'm just frustrated with an attitude that feels like it characterizes staff as greedy and arbitrary, rather than people who took a risk doing something new and who want to honor that history—including some of the first promises they ever made as a new business.

I will never have a gen1 imp either, much less be able to turn any dragon that strikes my fancy into one, and I am okay with that! I love the imps I do have, and I'm thrilled that we have reached a point in the site where anyone can own an imp, rather than having to stalk the forums just for a chance to pay our dragongame life's savings to own a triple basic g3+. isn't that cool?

Cookie is an Evoker for Maximum Dragongaming, while Marva is a Beast Master Hunter. Also yes, I am mostly just taking screenshots with funny NPCs

Also yes, i recognize the missed potential of making my dracthyr character a WoW-fied Deer, but you must understand, she NEEDS Naemon to be around for it to be funny.

I just wrote a huge long post with an update about my life since I’ve been doing a shit job of keeping up with things on here over the last six months or so. Then I accidentally deleted it because I am the biggest idiot in the whole goddamn world.

Let me try to recap. I am finally out of my probationary year at the good college job. Still much better than the bad college job, but all the bullshit and bad business practices appear to be universal, which is disappointing.

My family exists. The aunt who owns my house is about to be in town with her bad boundaries. My sister is doing a shit job of raising her kids and I can’t say anything about it. My parents’ age is showing in ways I can’t really ignore anymore.

My body continues to betray me. Neuralgia and neck/shoulder pain are getting triggered more easily and I’m not sure why. Migraines too. Blaming Covid seems like a copout, but there’s definitely been an uptick in this shit looking back at the two-year mark. New medication for unrelated stuff probably isn’t helping either. Fatigue is making it hard to keep up with anything, and I’m constantly feeling guilty about it. Cherish your meatsacks, kids.

To end our broadcast on a lighter note, I have new children. Jamie is six months old and Dimitri hates him. Sneil is the age of the universe, and I found him in our yard waste bin.

Anyway, I appreciate those of you who leave notes on my gay armyman/dragongame drawings, and my minimal-effort random reblogs. Thank you for reminding me I’m alive.
