One of the biggest art projects I've done in a long time!

I worked on and off with this the past few months (in-between commissions) and I'm so happy it's complete. A lot of these characters haven't appeared in the comic yet, but will in due time. Why is Ratchet and some other canon characters not on here? Because this story is an AU and Ace never meets Ratchet in this timeline ;-) and I dont wanna spoil who else shows up later on too!

Today I learned something new about Ratchet Deadlocked:

If you 100% the game, you get a Ninja Ratchet skin that makes you run fast. However, it ALSO unlocks alternate skins for Ratchet's armors that are really cool and stylish looking. You can only access these armor in Co-op mode, by playing as player 2, and selecting the skins for the player via Player 1.

It's so cool to see new armors for Ratchet's design, but sadly, none of them are playable unless you have 2 player co-op, because one player has to have the Ninja skin activated.

Dub maestro Gaudi drops a new version of ‘Boundary', his collaborative track with Dreadzone and Earl 16. The original was first released on 2022’s 'Dreadzone presents Dubwiser Vol.2' collection, and featured the soulful voice of Earl 16 atop a laidback groove built by Gaudi and Greg Dread. Earlier this year, with a summer ahead full with festival shows, Gaudi decided to give the tune a face-lift, adding a sexy dub-tech flavour to amplify the track’s positive heart and give it more of a dancefloor focus. There was no way to sugar-coat it; he was utterly on his own, a true solo act. He didn't need confirmation from one of DreadZone's longest tenured competitors to confirm the same conclusion that he had naturally come to by himself. But, as chafing as the response received was, the input was appreciated.

Especially when it helped to confirm his standing within Vox's illegal bloodsport.

"Wouldn't be the first time." Self-sufficient to a fault, he takes the news in stride, as bleak in facial expression as he was in tone. If he was to be no more than an expendable asset in a deadly game of chance and skill, then he'll carry that designation through to the very end-- to where he had his talons wrapped firmly around Gleeman's throat.

Letting his attention linger on that end goal for a minute, a furrow of brows indicates the curdling of his earlier felt gratitude, souring further as expressed amusement is met with a cold stare. The only man that had attempted to kill Miguel previously had inadvertently created a monster. To his fellow gladiators that may feel inspired... or enticed... to attempt the same? He'd show them no mercy.

"If you get in my way? You'll be lucky if I let you live long enough to regret it."
