I cannot begin to tell you how many people have a dream catcher as a tattoo, or hanging in their car or above their bed and-
Don't know the history or what it actually does.

Items: Dreamcatchers
In times when the dreamcatcher was full, Running Wolf would come in the deep of night, but in his spiritual form, and replenish its strength by removing those bad dreams trapped inside the web.

I wasn’t a die hard fan of Spidey when the 2000’s and my teenage years collided back then.

Buying dream catchers isn’t appropriation so long as you’re:
Buying them from an Indigenous person(s) instead of a chain or corporation. (Also you can get them as gifts for donating to / supporting certain NDN charities and organizations, I think?)
Buying small ones. Traditionally dream catchers were made as small charms to protect children, and were originally intended to break as the child aged, as they were made with sinew that would break down over time. I dunno if it’s still an issue as I’m not in a lot of NDN circles anymore, but there used to be a lot of upset with how people were making them big.
Also you can make them yourself and it’s not appropriation, just as long as they’re on the smaller side. If you have local Indigenous groups, some of them might host free classes on how to make them (as well as other such things; it just depends!)
I’d highly recommend looking into the history of dream catchers to learn more about them!
You could also just make a big wall hanging that looks similar to a dream catcher if you really like the looks of them. Just don’t call it a dream catcher or use it as one and you’re good!

Finally!! After holding onto this preserved project for 9 months, I get to finally use it. Thank you for the early Uncut Yugioh dubs that spoiled me with Samurai Deeper Kyo.😊☺️🥰
