Haven't posted in a hot minute, so here's my fully updated altar.

I’VE GOT AN EMOTIONAL SUPPORT INPU NOW GUYS!! :)

I also have a pretty cool statue and a coloring book from that friend. It has some interesting depictions, including Geb with a goose head?

I’ve been getting a lot of Inpu stuff for this Christmas and I had my lock screen already changed to Inpu (and an Inpu phone case!!). I know it’s simply explained as Inpu being arguably the most popular of the Netjeru and being what you’d probably first think of when talking about Ancient Egypt or whatever, but either way I think I should say hi. :)

Might do me some good, as I haven’t been doing very well mentally and I’ve been trying to work on opening up more to the Netjeru and people.

Prayer and stuff would do a lot for me if I went back into it- though, it was pretty hard to just talk about a singular serious issue in my diary.

sorry if this comes off as weird i just don’t have anyone to talk to about this irl and it stunned me this morning. i’m in college to be a mortician/embalmer/funeral director, and i’ve loved egyptian mythology since childhood, especially anubis. yesterday i bought an anubis altar statue, and this morning when i lit him some incense as an offering, a random dog ran into my backyard. idk just a fun story maybe it’s him saying hi

I find that he loves sandalwood scented incense specifically, this is the one I use:

He also loves Egyptian brass and/or gold jewelry on his altar. I have a brass Egyptian cuff my mother gifted me that I keep on his altar, and I wear a gold ankh to honor him (though I used to wear one made with Egyptian silver that was made in Egypt, he loved that one too)

I'm very excited for you to start your journey with him anon, he's truly amazing, and a fantastic deity to work with :D

Hi! Thought I'd do an update since it's been awhile.

Current deities are Anubis, Set, Sekhmet, Thoth, Sobek, Ra, Ares, Aphrodite, and Baphomet. I've been very in touch with the Netjeru recently. I talk to more than just the ones I worship, especially Osiris, Wepwawet, Khonshu, and Nut. I'll probably post an altar update sooner or later when I get the chance.

If anyone has any questions, I'll gladly answer! I love talking about my deities and helping others :)

Currently awaiting a proper statue for Amun-Ra, and need to get Mama Anupet a bigger jackal (I thought the itty bitty one was gonna be as big as Dad and Wep’s 😭) but!! It feels SOOO good to have Them all represented somehow!! 💜

Happy birthday Set!

Set is the god that stepped forward as my first Beloved. The god that disguised himself as Anubis to meet me because I was so scared of him. The god that threw my life into upheaval and tore everything down so that I could rebuild it better. I have always had a special relationship with Set once I got over my initial fear of him. I love him so much, I feel so close to him.

Set's offerings are tacos (with extra hot sauce), chips and salsa, and frankincense incense.
