Long ago a young troll named "Horuss" had wandered into the forest in search of the hoofbeasts within, he'd wonder for hours and hours and the young troll found himself to be lost and the sun was about to rise, so in a panic he sought shelter in an unknown hive, within the hive, he found a troll unlike any he seen before, A pale blood, no older then him self that troll was 'Toriga' she given him food and welcomed him despite his intrusion and even offered to be his guide while he was in the forest. So the next night she had showed him the hoofbeasts and then guided him safely out the forest but due to his curiosity surrounding this strange troll the young boy returned again, and again, and again, before long the two where inseparable one could say they where almost maitsprints, but unfortunately this did not not last, the young boy had received an invitation to join the "Empress' Military Academy" far away from his dear friend, and when the girl saw how happy he was she realized she couldn't ceep him by her side any longer, and while on the outside she appeared to be glad for her friend, on the inside it broke her heart to see him leave, she had wept of long nights thinking she would never be with him again, but the young troll had heard rumors of a troll who could help her see her precious friend again, The DAYREAPER a dark blood, she had gone to him and begged for him to help her, but what she didn't know was viscous this troll truly was he had snatched her up and taken her to his castle and to her horror his castle was decorated with the dead burt bodies of countless highblooded children some her age, some older, and some younger. He was a monster driven mad by his hatred for the highbloods and has sluaterd countless young troll with highblood in thier vain, but what he had different plans for the girl With stolen research he had altered the girls very genes tearing several highbloods apart and use them to receate her the pain was unimgable, when it was done she has the ability to witness stand any indgos strength and a life span of one to match, she was his greatest master pice and became obsessed with her while forcing the child in his red quadrant, she was trapped forced to be a witness to his horrors and his tortures for 2 sweeps, but the original owner of the research that the dayreaper had used to change her 'Genetrix' a jade blood whom studied mutations of blood, had come for what the dayreaper had stolen from her with the aid of her moirail 'The Archduke' I highblood of purple whom was known to be different from the rest of his kind.The Archduke was the one to free the young girl and had chosen to care for her in place of a lusus, while the dayreaper had escaped the two adults they had bured his castle of horror to the ground takeing the young girl with them.

Sweeps later after the time of the signless and the dolorosa the girl and grown to a a brilliant troll with the name of "Goldtune" and her father the "Archduke" had sent her to work under Dualscar so she was far away form the current war she grew to be good friends with her impolyer but wisely cept her distance due to the fate his last moirail had met, awhile planing to finally reunite with her now exiled childhood friend, but alas thus story takes yet another sad turn, One night Dualscars ship was attacked by a band of rebels one was the beast she prayed she never see again, the summoner had aloud the dayreaper in to his ranks and while the crew had fought them off Goldtune was sent into a rage she began dead set on destroying her torment once and for all, and she had finally tracked him down , Dualscar had tried to reson with her, after thier time together he knew what he had done to her and countless of his kind but after see what he was capable of he believed it would be better to get reinforcements, but she felt it be to late if she waited any longer, the to broken into a heated argument both said hurtful things and in the end she left to face him alone. Once she reached the DAYREAPER hide out she had freed all his captive children, and the two fought so visously that the they destroyed everything around them Dualscar realizing his mistake had came to aid her but unfortunately he arrived to late for while Goldtune had succeeded in killing the Dayreaper but she was gravelly injured. With her last breath she apologized to her friend and asked to take her to darkleer while pleading for him not to tell darkleer how she died wanting to tell him herself in the after life, so he compiled when he arrived at the destination Darkleer was feeled with hope expecting to see his lost friend after so long but when he saw her body he cried out in agony holding her in his arms while dualscar left without another word darkleer had built a tomb for his "toriga" as he knew her and defend it to his last day.

Who are you?

Call me Fox. I’m masked-fox-creations on tumblr.

What is this all about now?

It’s a fanworks exchange centered around the ancestors (so Signless, Dualscar, Darkleer, etc.)!

So only the ancestors are allowed?

No, other characters are allowed to be included, but the main focus should be on at least one ancestor.

What type of fanworks are allowed?

Art, fics, paper mâché, filk songs, whatever you’re inspired to do so long as it’s a complete piece that matches your giftee’s prompt.

What are the requirements for a complete fill?

One complete piece. 1,000 word minimum on fics and for art a complete illustration of at least 600 x 400 pixels. For other art forms just talk to me and we’ll hash that out. You are only required to do one fill for one of the prompts, but are more than welcome to fill more! After the main gifts are revealed an extra works collection will open up for you to submit to.

Do I have to request or create smut?

Not necessarily. This is 18+ because the option is allowed, but if you want smutless content that’s fine too! State clearly in your prompts if you don’t want any smut made for you, and let me know on the sign up form if you don’t want to create any.

Could I request something without any ships?

Yes! No ships, polyamory, multiple ships, whatever ancestor content you’re craving.

What if I want to request [a ship or kink that provokes discourse]?

Go right ahead! All ships are allowed in requests and fills, just use the proper tagging. Please be mindful of what your requestor says they like or don’t like, and also be clear about what you will or won’t fill in your offer. Shaming or harassment of any sort is not allowed and will not be tolerated. This is an open and inclusive gift exchange.

anyway to build off the at10dant thing. i do still like that (even if by most accounts noone says it at-ten, they just say a-ten). but i think mb something else would work better. easier, certainly. mostly because im not sure exactly how replacing ten with 10 in words makes sense for Lyndel’s character?? like, the fuck does she have to do with 10s, right? plus once being a pain to convert (1s? 1ce? hh). so, i had alternatives for her pre-Apostasy

Follower and Adherent are kinda neat. Follower implies a stronger connection to the Director than i think i like. I don’t think the Apostate really joined the Director because she wanted to, in contrast to the Lawmaker, who basically busted when the Director made offers. oh thats an image. oh i didnt want that. euugh. but yea. so, Adherent seems.... sliiiightly more in line with my interpretation of the Apostate’s loyalties. shes not completely loyal like the Lawmaker, she’s loyal to the point where it doesn’t completely contradict her values. which she DIDNT, until she ordered the deaths of dozens + of burgundies and bronze bloods because of the actions of the singular Fugitive in slaying the Lawmaker. it was a level of retribution that just didn’t click. it didn’t work. she just did paperwork, but this..... its getting out of hand. the almost wholesale deaths of the entirety of the Recreant’s army, despite the Desolate’s explanation that they were contracted and not willing, did not help matters.

also, yeaaaaaa, Lyndel’s ancestor definitely interacted with the Desolate. his plight as one of the few (if not the only) survivor of the Recreant’s illfated power grab absolutely tears at their heart. and then the deaths of all those bronze and burgundies just mmmmm nah thats it. not immediately - there is time. she bides her time. she waits for the best opportunity. she wants to take them both out, if she can. and she does! did she have help? maybe? its unclear. the whole thing is shrouded in mystery. noones even positive it was Her that did it - she was simply branded the villain for the purpose of obtaining justice. Not that this succeeded - she completely dropped off the map. maybe she met up with the recreant and fucked him up too. thats a fun thing to think about. like she comes across the Recreant utterly pitiful out in the wastes and goes ‘this is for starting this bullshit’ and just fucking curbstomps him. she could, too. even though shes a pencil pusher and the Recreant had aspirations of greatness and probably worked out, theyre only two castes apart, and she’s just more powerful. assuming he survived to meet her as the Apostate, he wouldnt stand a fucking chance. absolutely shit canned, lads. completely reamed.

ok. well.... i actually think, in terms of raw sound, Follower sounds better? i think ill actually go with that. it makes a clearer distinction between her two points, as Follower and Apostate.

ok. thats cool. now i actually really wanna fix the Fugitive? that sounds boring as fuck. she needs more oomph. she killed the Lawmaker and shit. she needs oomph. Assassin could work but thats sorta plain. theres also potential to utilise Serren’s quirk - rolling her rs. like Soldierr. Tor- Torrpedo? Torpedo means assassin? huh..... interesting. id probably prefer that if theres a rolled r, its in the middle or front, rather than the end. its an aesthetic thing. The Torrpedo is kinda hilarious, though. Invaderr? hmm. that has a little more truth to it, certainly, since the majority of their legacy is breaking into a law office and killing the Lawmaker. Invasion? yea. their being on the run was a far lesser part of their story, just a footnote in the Champion’s conquest. Also the Champion and the Director also will get names (like dualscar and shit) but thats later. god its complicated because i want it to be clear that she’s not like, a hero. people believe in her, but she’s not the Sufferer or even the Summoner. she’s a killer, just like the high bloods she despised. a hypocrite. oh fuck that might be the ticket hold on

hmm.... ok. Impostor is nice. issue is that her quirk would kick in, wouldnt it? since its generally demonstrated that the names uses the quirks (except for Expatri8 which uses the wrong quirk even though the x is RIGHT THERE Darkleer. E%patri8. though mindfangs still there). maybe i wont do a rolled r quirk. it looks kinda shit and doesnt make sense for me to do (mostly because i CANT roll rs). but ok lets say no double r. Impostor. how does that sound. It sounds about correct, perhaps ties into how to managed to GET to the Lawmaker to kill her in the first place. Like, false pretenses. Something echoing her descendants later Cobalt Masquerade, as it were. But also an Imposter because she wasn’t like, in the right sorta thing. rather than killing the person using to the tool, she killed the tool. yknow? its sorta iffy on that but i think it fits enough? sure. better than Fugitive, i think
