A crack fic about Lucifer, Vox and Husk making an Alastor Hate Club. And it’s just them once a week bonding over how much they hate Alastor and Husk realizes more and more how he doesn’t actually hate Alastor and is bitter about it, Lucifer randomly trauma dumps about his tragic life, and by each meeting Lucifer and Husk notice how Vox’s sheer hate borderlines on obsession and they share awkward glances every time he starts ranting and shows them his Alastor shrine or something. And when he makes some comments like “Alastor does this and that every day” (some very specific detail about him only a stalker/someone with a long history with Al would know) and the other two are like “how do you know” and he’s like “I just do.”
May your soul live, achieving millions of years, you who love Thebes, sitting with your face to the north wind, your eyes beholding happiness - inscription on the "wishing cup" lotus chalice, the first object encountered inside the antechamber of KV62
Little headcanon I've been brewing for like over a year is that Claudia Henderson was a tech/computer programmer for the legitimate side of Hawkins Lab prior to season one, so after everything goes down Dustin is very obviously not really happy with his mom working at an evil government lab that uses the legit energy side to cover up the evil child experimentation side. He begs her to find a different job because he hates the lab, tries to reason with her that it's farther out of town than other places she could work at, and Dustin is wary of the woods after Will. She obviously doesn't want to distress her kid, and dotes on him, so looks into other jobs despite the lab being reliable and government funded. If nothing shakes out it's fine but if it does Dustin will be happy.
Turns out a few places like the mayor's office and the police station and the library are all considering beginning digitization, and maybe the hours are worse and it's at three different locations, but it's a city job and she's still doing what she loves and is good at. Dustin is incredibly relieved she stopped working at the lab, even if he could never fully articulate why he suddenly hated her working there so much, but she's glad her Dusty is more comfortable now, possibly because he knows he'll be able to bike to her more easily now if something happens?
And THEN the demodog infestation and S2 lab scandal breaks and Claudia is watching the news thanking God she got the hell out of there a year prior, well clear of the blast radius and saving her life, wondering what the hell Dustin knew that made him so insistent she leave...
If you're interested in the statue and live outside of Italy, the italian comic shop "L'idea che ti manca" is apparently taking international orders. Info through their facebook DMs.
I made not one, but two Don't Hug Me I'm Scared themes for the 3DS! They both have custom folders, icon frames, background music, and sound effects!
• Cursor SFX - Tony the Clock's *tick-*
• Creating a Folder SFX - "I am a file, you put documents in me~!"
• Launching App/Game SFX - Colin the Computer's "Nyeh!"
• Closing App/Game SFX - Duck's "Pesky bee!" *SPLAT*
The first one, DHMIS - Portrait Theme (Link to Themeplaza) uses an instrumental version of the theme (sourced from here) as the background music.
The second one, DHMIS - Three of Us Theme (Link to Themeplaza) uses the first episode's theme, lyrics and all, as the background music.
I can only add one video to this post, so here's a video demonstrating the first theme:
(also, yes, I photoshopped away bald yellow guy in the portrait theme 😔 sorry)
I have this sappy post canon world in my head where the kiddos are healing from their traumas and figuring out what they want to do with their lives.
It takes fakir four or five years to feel comfortable writing a story about Duck again. Instead of writing a story to make her human, he writes a story to give her a choice: to let her be anything she wants to be. Duck, of course, loves being human. She loves to dance ballet and she loves her human friends. It’s not even a question to her when she decides to return to her human life.
They have to leave Goldkrone for a while, as the new story makes the previously dormant bookmen antsy. They end up traveling for a few months without a real destination in mind. I like to think, one day, they see an poster for Paulamoni’s ballet troupe go see a performance. Paulamoni can’t understand what it is about the girl in the audience that seems so familiar but after the show they strike up a conversation and Duck tells her about how she loves ballet though she’s years behind in her training. Paulamoni ends up taking her under her wing and acting as a mentor figure for Duck (with the secret plan of making her a principal dancer when she eventually retires.)
Meanwhile, with his story for Duck written, Fakir starts to seriously consider life as a professional author. For so long, writing has been a source of trauma and desperation but for the first time he’s given the space to consider if it’s something he actually wants to do with his life.
They’ve got a lot of trauma to deal with but they’re finally free of the assigned narratives of who they should be. For the first time they get to consider what they truly want.
so in the latest DWD issue, there's a museum of heroes, and a Justice Ducks section, so Morgana gets her own statue! Yay!
I'm surprised "honey wumpus" didn't make the list, considering that's the incredibly ridiculous pet-name he would call her in the show
After having to get some emotional control over myself from this morning's family related drama, I finally got the pictures of Patito done. Patito and Noche are both based on my own fairytale that'll be in 'Changes' called 'The Little Wood Duck'. Patito here is the very first woodcraft I made and can move around a bit. On the insides of Patito's wings and the starbug (That butterfly/moth/firefly insect) has glow in the dark paint on it. I also made little matching caplets for them to wear during the winter months while summer has Noche in a collar while Patito will have something else that needs to be made (A Dolly wants a floral garland on him big time)
