Ever since I was little, I’ve had this theory that Dopey from Snow White is actually just a human baby that the dwarfs took in thinking he was simply a “dopey” adult dwarf. Like, he doesn’t have a beard (or hair), he doesn’t have teeth, he doesn’t talk, his dwarven clothes are too big for him, and he has no idea what he’s doing.
One or two of those could make sense, but the only thing he has in common with the dwarfs is his small stature, and even then, his proportions seem different from theirs! That’s no dwarf! That guy is a baby! It’s “Elf” all over again with this dude!

I feel like this line of dialogue implies that half foots are prey animals as Chilchuck's anxiety and reactiveness goes away. Most prey animals have some form of anxiety. Along with that, half foots also have heightened senses and seem to be hyperaware (like prey animals) compared to the other human species.
So what exactly made the half foots evolve like prey animals?

I know it’s not their fault, but Rook thinking they’re disrupting the ritual and instead accidentally unleashing two OP blighted gods is like. Almost Peregrin-Took-waking-the-Balrog levels of tomfoolery.
