Aiden Waltz Caldwell-
My take on the concept of “what if Aiden was his biological son” and raised by Waltz lol.
👹👹👹MAJOR CONTENT WARNING:
Some hidden trivia:
-heterochromea courtesy to fade. He’s got his fathers eyes (green) and his usual blue
-Cannibal because ofc, Waltz can’t stand his son eating raw food tho. And they fight
-he’s…not humane, to say the very fucking least. He treats his victims like prey and toys with them, watches them bleed and gets excited.
-fucking injected himself with so much inhibitors that he’s tall af, like 6’5” and so also physically strong due to mutations. Grey skin too.
-kill count higher than Waltz
-like mad issues with him too, always throws hands because of some volatile territorial instinct bullshit, they get animalistic and growls when they fought, Aiden being a bit insane almost took a chunk of meat off him once. Son of the year, truly astonishing.

Hey, I know you're probably busy and all but I have a tiny, bity request which will probably take 5 minutes or so for you to write.
If you could, I'd love if you could give me a full recap of the THV Lore in your Dying Light fics.
I know, you're probably saying right now "just read the fics and you'll learn" and I have but my brain is scattered all over the place and I have all sort of crap to do that I can't find the time to piece together the.....well, pieces of the lore itself. If you could, I'd be extremely grateful and also have fun in your next projects. And health above all, have a good day!
Hey, thank you for the ask and I'm more than happy to put this together. Just keep in mind this is all (a) head canon and (b) has no grounding in science.
My changes to the lore start before Harran. It wasn't the first place to be affected, with an earlier variant of the virus popping up in a remote location. Think Dead Island, but a lot more low key, with only a small number of casualties. This whetted the GRE's appetite though, especially once they figured out they could sell access to pharmaceutical corporations.
By the time the Harran outbreak happened, they already knew what they were doing. They sold of access to the highest bidder, often embedding their own scientists with them. This is where the rest of my lore branches off from Dying Light's lore, specifically around what happened during the Following.
The variant responsible for Jasmine (the Mother) is created by Stuart Fraser. His project was intended to harness THV's regenerative abilities. Windfall, he called it. Immortality.
He failed. All of his subjects eventually turned fully.
That is until: Theo
Latchkey Hero Season Three and Monsters. We. spoilers below the cut.
Theo is the catalyst to all my major Volatile and virus lore changes.
He and his brother were the last subjects in Fraser's experiments before the GRE pulled the plug. They were the Volatiles, slash, Night Hunters that harassed Crane in Latchkey's second season. But unlike all other Windfall subjects, their variant mutated, eventually sending Theo on a path to "recovery", so to speak. He regained control of himself, regardless of the time of day (unlike what we see with the Mother in The Following).
During season two, Crane is attacked by Theo's brother, effectively introducing him to Windfall, which begins its work on him. His, ah, proximity to Zofia means she catches it, too. More on that later.
By the end of season three, Camden and Fraser manage to create a genuine, though flawed, cure. It works on early variants, meaning I get to yank Rahim and Collin from the jaws of certain death, and the world at large celebrates a little.
Harran doesn't. It's still under quarantine and it remains so while the GRE works on redeeming itself. Which it does, sort of, a lot of which is down to Zere's work and Camden's, along with Fraser, who's the only one still alive of the three and doesn't wait long to throw himself right back into his Windfall project. Especially once he gets his hands on a sample of Crane's blood.
He has Crane and Zofia snatched up, figures out Theo is still alive, and spends the time that's left until the Fall chasing Windfall's perfection. He doesn't manage; beyond Crane and Fi, he can't recreate the same effects. Would he have, eventually? Maybe, but his subjects manage to escape, which sets not only him back, but also Waltz (who's been piggy-backing off Windfall for his own research).
But, hey. Now we've got Inhibitors, woo! And an Aiden, who's unwittingly a side-product of Crane and Zofia.
The last major change to the TVH lore would be how Volatiles and Night Hunters function. Remember, Windfall was what made Jasmine (the Mother) and Windfall didn't quit with her or Theo or Crane and Zofia. There were enough people in the Harran Countryside infected with it and enough of it prevalent in the vaccines and cures that followed, that the Volatile variants coming with the Fall had more to do with Theo and his brother than with the simpler Harran Vollies. I won't touch on more than that though since that'd spoil the pieces of Monsters, We. I haven't posted yet.
... also I am sure I missed some stuff.

Bear with me—it’s like the ‘70s, right? And Finn and Leland have gotten into a real “pear-shaped” situation. The mission has gone horribly wrong. They’re trapped. Leland is so injured that he’s struggling just to keep conscious. It doesn’t look like he’s going to make it. It’s hopeless.
Then Finn recites this poem while they wait for help to arrive:

Do not go gentle into that good night.

Crane would win this, Aiden is faster that, all of u are dumb as shit bcus the one truth is that Crane would begrudgingly adopt Aiden in a heartbeat and they would be an unstoppable power duo.

SOME HEADCANONS FOR MY DYING LIGHT2 AU!
Click more if u wanna see
Ahem, here lemme tell u:
1.) I believe that special infecteds(Like Volatiles, Banshees, Virals, etc.) are taller than biters, and humans. The mutants/sentients aswell. It just that they aren't taller than those special infecteds, meaning that Waltz and his Renegades are taller than humans especially Renegade!Aiden. I show u the height difference of Renegade!Aiden and Renegade!Hakon
Tumblr media
Yep, tall yeen
2.) Because the family bound between Aiden, Mia and Waltz in game doesn't make sense so in here, I made both Aiden and Mia are actually related as siblings and Waltz is Aiden's biological dad. Yay. I clearly don't have any idea why Techland made Aiden aren't related to Waltz and Mia while there are some similarities of Waltz's face structure with Aiden's(ty for my moot for showing me the pic of Waltz model). What are they smokin? Weed?
I have more hcs but I need more ideas and some proof
BONUS TRIVIA: Why Renegade!Aiden has big appetite than normal humans? It's because the mutation in him isn't only just at the outer body, but insides aswell. His organ systems are become 2x bigger than before, especially his digestive system. So that's why he likes to eat more food in big portion
Tysm for stayin to read my hcs in my DL2 AU :D

🇮‌🇫‌ 🇦‌ 🇷‌🇪‌🇳‌🇪‌🇬‌🇦‌🇩‌🇪‌ 🇭‌🇺‌🇷‌🇹‌ 🇾‌🇴‌🇺‌ – 🇭‌🇴‌🇼‌ 🇼‌🇴‌🇺‌🇱‌🇩‌ 🇾‌🇴‌🇺‌🇷‌ 🇧‌🇴‌🇾‌🇫‌🇷‌🇮‌🇪‌🇳‌🇩‌ 🇷‌🇪‌🇦‌🇨‌🇹‌?
𝒻𝓇𝒶𝓃𝓀 𝓂𝒶𝓇𝓌𝑒𝓎
frank was well on the way to losing himself to booze or throwing himself off the fish eye's many roofs
but then he met you
you make him feel things he hasn't felt since before the fall
before long, you get him to taper back his drinking to more social endeavors
you do have to stop him from reclaiming his nightrunner cloak
but when a renegade snatches you, attempting to hold you hostage, he completely loses it
he hops on the radio and rallies every single person he can to your aid
even the famous aiden caldwell arrives to help
frank isn't there -- you've shown him that his strength no longer lies in his body, but in his ability to inspire people
but when aiden carries you, bloodied and bruised, into his room, frank breaks down
he doesn't leave your side until you're well enough to walk again -- and even then, he doesn't let you out of his sight
in spite of his fears, it is his honor to crown you a nightrunner alongside lawan
but you better keep that radio at your side every second of every day or he's going to mcfreaking lose it
𝓳𝓾𝓪𝓷
it's been four months and you're still not sure if you and juan are together
juan is notorious for never sleeping alone -- but he's also notorious for rarely bedding the same person twice
and you two have been having a hell of a time for four months
you don't think much of it -- he's a promiscuous lad and he's spoiling you rotten, so why not enjoy it while it lasts?
but when the renegades snatch you, you're shocked to see him arrive personally to retrieve you
he brings a rare vintage, his pride and joy, and sets it carefully on the table
when one of the renegades step forward to take it, a thin blade slips from his sleeve
it takes only a few minutes to clear the room
you never took juan for a fighter, but he makes it look easy
he pulls you into his arms, bridal style, and brushes a sweaty lock of hair from your forehead
"come on, y/n, let's get you home. you desperately need a bath."
he washes you personally, massaging your shoulders and back, scrubbing every inch of you with sweet smelling body wash that you haven't seen since the beginning of the fall
of course, you end up fucking in the bathtub -- but what else did you expect from the whore of central loop?
𝓳𝓪𝓬𝓴 𝓶𝓪𝓽𝓽
the leader of the peacekeepers
arrogant, confident, assertive to a fault
when he sees something he wants, he takes it -- simple as that
and right now? jack matt wants you.
he tries to convince you to sign up for the peacekeepers -- you refuse
the closest he can get is hiring your services for jobs
you think it's adorable how he blusters when he's with you, trying to keep up his facade of being in control
you also think it's adorable when he hires you to hand him a bottle of whiskey two feet away from him just to have an excuse to spend time with you
when the renegades snatch you, the peacekeepers make it a priority to tell him as soon as they find out
it takes hadley and three others to hold him back from charging out the door and retrieving you himself
he refuses to stay behind
he wants to kill them all -- but he can't afford all out war with the renegades
as much as he loves you, he has all of villedor to think about
when the renegades announce their release conditions, he pays it without a second thought
he carries you out of the room himself, back to his quarters
you're not allowed to leave until you are 100% back to normal -- according to his standards, not yours
he orders a squad of lawkeepers to be your bodyguard, despite your protests
it's that, or you never leave the flotilla again
he loves you too much to let anything happen to you
𝓬𝓱𝓻𝓲𝓼 𝔀𝓲𝓵𝓵𝓲𝓪𝓶𝓼
chris williams has a lot more to think about than some renegade recruit
but when you walk through the door, he can't take his eyes off you
even though he has a wife that he loves, he can't stop thinking about you
he dismisses it as 'seeing potential' and sees to it that you get the finest training and gear
it isn't long before you're a captain in his ranks, only two positions below chris himself
you can handle yourself -- but when group of renegades grows resentful of your rapid success, you get swarmed and overwhelmed
you manage to take most of them down, but renegades are known for fighting dirty
it doesn't take long for chris to find out
after all, you've always answered his summons within minutes
and he tends to call you a lot
it is a little known fact that chris williams has the only gun left in villedor
it quickly becomes a widely known fact
he uses all but one of his few remaining bullets to execute every renegade that dared lay a hand on you
"if anyone so much as touches them again," he announces, his voice ringing through the hall, "i will slit their throat myself."
he has his right hand man carry you to the infirmary and stays with you all night, in spite of the few medics assuring him you're going to be fine
perhaps it's time for him to consider divorce

welcome to tumblr!! i just found your dying light stuff and i love it. do you have any headcanons or ships for the canon characters?
hey thank you! i actually used to be pretty active on tumblr a few years ago, before the purge and when i was in high school 12 or so yrs ago. place is a little different now lol
if you’re referring to DL2 specifically then yep i have some! expand for all of it, long text incoming
disclaimer: i respect everyone’s ships, no matter what they are. i expect that respect in return, and i have no qualms with blocking those who are harassers. i know people will disagree with me, it is what it is lol.
aiden is obviously confirmed bisexual but i just don’t ship he and hakon beyond a fruity little bromance. i know unpopular opinion but i do absolutely respect everyone who ships them bc it’s clearly a popular ship, more power to u cuties. i see aiden as someone who’s very reserved and repressed about his sexuality and tries his hardest not to catch feelings, because he knows nothing has the potential to last with him, and he doesn’t want to get hurt. (ooc in my universe i ship he and my oc ayda, but less as a couple, and more of an older woman showing him the “ropes”)
hakon i view as straight but with gay little tendencies lmao. he’s definitely not a favorite of mine but for no other reason than me finding him annoying. i think he and lawan’s relationship in the game was just an unnecessary additive but i do soooo love angst. i ship hakon with himself bc he’s a narcissistic little baby who fucks any woman he can get his greedy little hands on
lawan is trans and bisexual in my eyes, ace at heart, but impossible for her to come to terms with her identity. the girl has been through so much and i think she enjoys being alone, sexually and romantically. if we’re going by canon, i see hakon taking advantage of her emotional vulnerability, and it obviously scarring her enough to become unhealthily attached. i love her and she deserves everything
waltz... i love the complete mystery surrounding him and his past because it leaves a lot to be desired, and numerous holes that can be filled with headcanons. waltz would be straight to me, and i can see him as an extreme romantic, even an unhealthily obsessive romantic. it’s hard for him to attach to someone who is not his daughter, because all of his time goes to her, but if/when he found the right woman, he would prove to be a dutiful and doting partner. (ooc in my universe i ship him with my oc panna, who was a subject of his)
miscellaneous tentative ships of mine include:
aiden/barney (i thrive on toxicity)
sophie/hermann (for obvious reasons)
sophie/hakon (hatefucking)
juan/aitor (again, the toxicity would flourish)
jack matt/aitor (love that power imbalance)
frank/lawan (controversial, i know, but obviously as adults)
i have lots more about the first game but i’ll type that one out later.

two embers needs to release soon already so I can have a little more of an excuse to draw alef and resh as siblings and draw them to six trillion years and overnight story
#ahem#headcanon time#the passage trials were made as an alternative to the prophecy trials for moths and younger skids#also did ppl die from prophecy trials back before resh was kinged? i think the working lore theory(or the one ive seen most often)#i thought resh was rhe only one who suceeded in doing them in order to get the elements(?) which implies they either#1. did it without dying(which would be hard w/o anyone else)#or#2. was the only skid who did the trials that *got through them* to the elements which you get at the end of the trial#implying nobody else got to the end#alternatively if you slipped or fell at some point you got kicked out and DID survive but thats kinda fucked up when you apply that to the#trial of fire#whagever#this is going into strong headcanon territory but i like to think they took groups of skids at a time specifically for the trial of fire#but it would ALSO be cool if they made them go alone because like#the trials are what got him into power and eventually the apocalypse so it would make SENSE it all started with the opposite of what the#game is about#which is friendship and light#vibrating rn#im not ok#i dont remember like clearly but didnt the interview about two embers say that it was about two skids#and ones rise to power as the king and the other trying to stop the dark stuff#ive been having a normal time since revival came out because hopeful steward reminds me of what little description of the prince/second skid#from that interview#my post#scotl

For Latchkey Aiden: 4, 6, 15, 16, 22, 33, 49
(Just on an Aiden feels kick right now 😭❤️)
4. Where do they see themselves in five years? Ten?
Pre Villedor: Aiden doesn’t think that far ahead. Or, rather, he’s never dared, because all he has the time to worry about is the immidate tomorrow. Water, food, shelter. Days rolling into nights, nights (if all goes well) rolling back into days.
There may have been moments, brief ones, where he pondered what his life would be like if he’d finally found Mia, but then he thought of the settlements he’s grown used to seeing and he got a little sick to his stomach because he couldn’t see any of them being places where he’d like to stay.
Now: [you know what? If I answer this one I spoil like half of my fic.]
6. What are they like in the bedroom — well-rounded lover or wooden plank?
He has absolutely no idea and he’s not in a rush to find out. Way to put the poor guy on the spot though. Time for his inhaler :3 WHAT, IT IS ACE FLAG COLOUR ADJACENT! :D Just needs a dash of black.
Tumblr media
15. How would they describe themselves?
Reasonably [insert adjective here]. He's confident enough in his abilities and knows what he can do and what’s beyond him. Or so he keeps telling himself; whether that’s the truth or not is up to debate.
And, yeah, Aiden knows he’s a handsome young man. Not because he looks into the mirror and things “Stud!” but because he gets attention (which often makes him uncomfortable).
16. How would others describe them?
This depends on who you ask. A first impression of a stranger could be anything from reserved to handsome to please don’t kill me.
If you’d ask Crane though he’d throw in reckless, stubborn, bit of a punk, but alright.
Generally though, Aiden is a people person. He’s always been one and he’s always strived to help others, even when he was a chid (made quite obvious by what he did for Mia). So as someone spends time with him they’ll often grown to like him.
22. Are they a dog person or a cat person — or something else?
Dog person. Though cats seem to like him for a reason he cannot fathom.
33. What’s the worst injury they’ve ever had?
Getting bitten by a Volatile. Every other injury he dealt with has healed. This one? This one has forever changed his life.
49. Do they think about what they wear or do they throw on whatever they find first?
While on the road until he arrived in Villedor? No.
Now? Yeah, he’s beginning to develop a fashion sense and is trying to put together something that’s not only practical and comfortable, but something that also doesn’t make him look like he just crawled out of the bushes. But. Yeah. He will wear whatever. It’s not like he has much of a choice.

Immortal Danger
Apollo x DaughterofDemeter!Reader
Summary: Apollo marries a half-blood without realizing how dangerous it can be.
Warning: PJO universe but no real PJO plot, (kind of) smut, threats, monsters, Ares slander
Word Count: 4.7K
Masterlist | Part 2
Tumblr media
A/N Sam Claflin is my personal headcanon for Apollo and if he isn’t cast for the Titan’s Curse season I’m gonna cry
“Am I even allowed to be here?” I asked as Apollo and I materialized in his home on Mount Olympus.
“Probably not but Demeter’s already gonna be pissed when she finds out we eloped in Vegas,” Apollo smiles, pulling me down onto the couch. I laughed as he did so, taking a chance to look around. I was in awe. The ceiling to the sitting room was just a giant skylight and the sun seemed to perpetually shine through it. There were balconies in the column of the sun, revealing the upper levels of the extravagant manor decorated in gold.
“This place is incredible,” I said in awe.
“Yeah, Annabeth did a great job with the remodel. And it’s all yours,” he swore, his lips brushing against my cheek. “Everything that’s mine is also yours.”
“Really?” I challenged teasingly. “Then can I drive the sun chariot.”
He faltered. “Well… after Thalia, I don’t think-”
“I’m joking,” I assured him. “I don’t want to torch Antarctica. Or make North Africa freeze over.”
“I’ll give you lessons some day,” he promised. “Maybe when you’re a goddess and that human nervousness about dying instinct fades.” I laughed before he sprung up. “C’mon,” he said, pulling me up from the couch. “I wanna show you the bedroom.”
“Very subtle,” I chided him.
“I know,” he agreed with a cocky smile as he began climbing the stairs. “But you’re my wife now.” We went up so many levels I was beginning to get tired but Apollo was already practically dragging me up the stairs. When we went to a set of double doors I thought we were done with the stairs but there was one more flight. I followed him up, eyes widening as I realized his room made up the entire top floor.
There was a circle in the floor covered by glass with a view to the sitting room, allowing the sun to shine through the whole house. But the ceiling of the room itself was a glass dome, flooding the whole room with light. Surprisingly, it wasn’t ridiculously hot but that’s a perk of being the sun god. Several plants grew in various pots around the room—I had a sneaking suspicion he added them recently—and the walls were lined with various weapons, mostly bows and arrows. The bed itself was tucked into a sort of alcove, with pillows lining the edge of it, leaning up against the walls so as to make the whole alcove a soft bed. I noticed curtains hanging in front of the bed to shield it from the rest of the room, as well as a contraption above it against the glass probably to block the light from above.
Apollo came up next to me. “I know you’re a light sleeper so I had the curtains put in to block out the light.”
“This is incredible,” I said in awe. “But uh- do gods sleep?”
“We don’t have to but I love sleeping,” he smiled. “It’s one of the best things humans invented.”
I stepped closer to the bed, reaching down to feel the soft mattress. “Gods, do you know how long it’s been since I slept in a bed that wasn’t a twin size mattress?” I asked. Even though at 24 I was far older than any of the other campers at Camp Half-Blood, I had to stay there as the outside world had become too dangerous for me. Once I turned 22, Chiron finally let me have a room in The Big House because even the oldest campers besides for me were still around 17.
“Well,” Apollo began, getting closer until I was laying down on the mattress and his face was so close to mine I could see the gold flecks in his eyes, “I was thinking we’d consummate our marriage in this bed before sleeping,” he suggested, kissing me.
“I’d be open to that,” I laughed, kissing him back. Using godly strength, he managed to wrap an arm around my waist before pulling me up closer to the middle of the bed so our feet weren’t hanging off. As he kissed me, I could feel his hand find the zipper on the back of my wedding dress. But just as he started to bring it down, there was a bell and a shout.
“Apollo?” a masculine voice called through the house.
Our lips parted, and he rested his forehead on mine with a groan. “I hate him.”
“Who is it?” I asked.
“Hermes. Look, he can’t see you. He and I are cool now but he still can’t see you.”
“Okay,” I agreed. “I’ll just stay here.”
He nodded, pressing a kiss to my forehead before running downstairs to an incessant Hermes. As he went down the stairs I watched in amazement as his tux transformed into a t-shirt and shorts. Once he left I started looking around the room more, wary of the giant glass circle in the middle of the room. I went up to the weapons, finding various plaques describing what momentous kill each weapon was responsible for. A little bit self obsessed to have in your bedroom but, hey, that’s Apollo.
As the gods moved to the sitting room I could hear them through the glass. “I know you’ve been dating a demigod,” Hermes’ voice came. “Chiron just sent a distress signal about a missing half-blood.”
“So…?” Apollo’s voice came, trying to act nonchalant.
“I’m saying that the girl you’ve been dating is the missing half-blood. Chiron is worried sick because apparently she’s powerful but will attract a lot of monsters. And Ares is still pissed at you for putting an arrow through him during World War I. She could be in danger of him while not under Dionysus’ protection.”
“Well, I don’t know what to tell you, man. I haven’t seen her in a few weeks.”
“I haven’t known you to go even two days without seeing the person you’re dating.” I could hear the accusing tone in Hermes’s voice. And Apollo knew he was backed into a corner.
“Yeah well, dating a half-blood is hard. Chiron and Dionysus have her on lockdown. And do you know what Demeter would do to me? You remember how she lost it when Persephone ran off with Hades. How am I going to explain that I’m dating her half-human daughter?”
“Well you better pray Ares doesn’t find out about her or he’ll probably kill her just to piss you off.” Kill me?
“Look I’m going to have father turn her into a goddess soon anyway. She’ll be fine.”
“You’re awfully nonchalant about your little human going missing. Is it because she’s actually here?” Hermes accused.
“No!” Apollo said unconvincingly.
“Y/N!” Hermes called. “I know you’re here. Come on out.” I froze. What do I do? Obey the god or obey the other god?
“She’s not here and even if she was, she’d listen to what I said.” I didn’t move, contemplating whether or not I should hide.
“Fine, then you won’t mind if I check your bedroom.”
Σκατά. I could just hide in one of the many other rooms in the house. Hermes probably wouldn’t take the time to check every room. But once I reached the top of the stairs, the door at the bottom opened revealing a very pissed Hermes and distressed Apollo. Curse godly teleportation.
Hermes turned to Apollo. “Wanna do some explaining?” he asked sarcastically, observing my white dress. I just backed away, giving them space to come up the stairs. “Seriously, man. She could be killed because you married her and brought her here without permission,” Hermes explained as they walked up the stairs.
“But no one else is going to know because you’re not gonna tell them,” Apollo said, getting in between me and Hermes. “Right?”
He sighed. “Hi Y/N, congrats on getting married,” he finally greeted me.
“Thanks,” I answered hesitantly.
“Why is she even here?” he asked Apollo.
“Well, we were supposed to go talk to Zeus but I’m working the courage back up,” he laughed awkwardly. Hermes gave him an unamused look. “What? I’ve been single for millennia and then I’m just going to go up to father like ‘Hey, I finally decided to get married. By the way, it’s to a half-blood can you make her immortal too?’”
“So why is she still here?”
“Well Chiron has almost walked in on us having se- OW!” I cut him off with a pinch to his side. “What?” he asked, turning to me.
I could feel the heat rushing to my face now. “Shut up,” I chided him.
“Hermes of all people gets it!” he insisted, slinging an arm around my shoulders. “You can’t honestly say you’ve never brought a girl to Olympus. Like Penelope? Pan’s mother. Because Odysseus would’ve tried to murder you had he walked in on you two.”
“That’s different!” Hermes insisted.
“How?”
Hermes tried to think of an answer for a few minutes before he gave up. “Fine, whatever. But either get her back to camp or tell Zeus what’s going on before anyone else can get their hands on her.” He left no room for argument because he quite literally disappeared in a flash of light that second. Thankfully Apollo had the foresight to cover my eyes for me because Hermes had turned into a ball of light before I could react.
My husband sighed as he looked down at me. “I guess I should return you, huh? I’m sorry I just can’t face Zeus today.”
I smiled softly at him. Truthfully I was in no rush for immortality. I wasn’t quite ready to leave my life behind either way but when Apollo burst into my bedroom declaring that today was the day, I just went with it. Reaching a hand up to cup his jaw I leaned up to kiss him. “Whatever you want, you’re the one who has to take responsibility,” I reasoned.
“Thank you,” he murmured, capturing my lips. “Do you think you can be missing for just a couple more hours?” he asked, pulling away from me.
“Probably,” I agreed. He was immediately scooping my legs up before dropping me onto the bed.
My new husband spent the entire night drawing orgasms out of me until I finally got him to stop. That was the thing about gods, sometimes they didn’t know when to stop because they didn’t always understand human limitations.
I was still breathing heavily from my last peak when I fell asleep on Apollo’s chest, so exhausted.
~
Despite the fact that the sun was down, Apollo could still see his new wife clearly through the moonlight streaming through the glass ceiling. He had laid there for hours, admiring her relaxed features and reveling in the touch of her skin on his. It was nearly five o’ clock and he’d have to get up soon. As nice and sunny as summer was, he hated having to get up so early to get the sun chariot ready.
He gently stroked the hair away from her face, pressing the lightest kiss against her forehead so as not to disturb her. Sitting up, he rearranged the pillows and blankets to cover her before sliding off the bed. He threw on some clothes, leaving a t-shirt for his wife when she woke up before disappearing to the moors of England. Humans thought the sun was always going around the world in a circle but for the west, the sun began in England because that’s where the dividing line fell between the east and the west.
Setting up the sun chariot to do it’s course, Apollo set it off, watching it crest up in the sky like every day. Before he could turn to leave he sensed a new presence behind him. Turning, he found a very smug looking Ares. Trying to play it cool, Apollo smiled. “What are you doing here, brother?”
“I heard about a missing camper,” Ares began. And then Aphrodite told me about a certain marriage certificate. Filed both on Earth and Mount Olympus.” Apollo cursed internally, that wasn’t supposed to be sent to Olympus for another week. The one time bureaucracy was efficient.
“Ares…” he began, intending to work out some sort of deal but the god of war interrupted him.
“I don’t know where you’re keeping her but until she’s immortal, she’s fair game to kill.”
“You really wanna piss off Demeter like that?” Apollo challenged, hoping her mother could provide her a little protection if he couldn’t.
Ares shrugged. “She has plenty of other children. And it’s not like I’m killing Persephone.” Demeter’s first daughter truly was the apple of her eye. She loved her demigod children but she’d get over their deaths. “Should’ve thought about this before you decided to put an arrow through me in 1918,” Ares sneered.
“That was like a hundred years ago!” Apollo insisted. “Don’t put her in the middle of this. She didn’t do anything wrong.”
“Should’ve thought about the consequences of your actions before you fell in love with a demigod,” the god of war taunted before disappearing in a flash of light.
The sun god let out an enraged grunt before transporting to his house. He practically ripped open the curtains surround the bed to make sure his bride was still there. He let out the biggest sigh of relief seeing her still laying there, unharmed. But now she was stirring due to the sudden light flooding her eyes.
~
I groaned as the sun hit my eyes and a body came to lay next to me. “I’m sorry,” Apollo said, crawling into his spot next to me. “I really wish you could go back to sleep but you need to be back at camp now,” he said. I could now hear the urgency in his voice as I opened my eyes.
“Why? What happened?” I asked, sitting up.
“Look, I uh- may not have thought this marriage all the way through,” he said nervously, handing me a shirt.
My heart dropped and pain flooded my body. “What?” I asked. I cursed myself, I knew it was too good to be true. I thought that after seeing each other for five years he was being honest about wanting to marry me. But I guess five years to an immortal god is the equivalent to a week for a human.
Apollo turned, finding my hurt expression. “No!” he immediately tried to clear up. “No it’s the fact that you’re in danger now. I don’t regret you. I’m so happy you’re my wife now and that you will be forever. I just didn’t think about the other gods’ reactions.”
“Oh,” I said quietly, relief washing over me.
“I could never regret you,” he said, coming over to sit beside me. “I love you. So much,” he swore, pressing me into his chest.
“Is this about Ares?” I asked. He suddenly froze. “I overheard you and Hermes downstairs,” I explained.
“Yes, but I swear to you nothing’s gonna happen to you. You just have to stay at camp. Ares won’t harm you if you’re in Dionysus’ territory,” he said urgently. If his grave tone was any indication, I was in serious danger. “I’m gonna talk to Zeus. We’re already married and I consulted the Fates when I met you so he’ll probably approve your immortality,” he rushed out, handing me shorts to throw on.
I was at a complete loss of what to say so I said the only thing I could think of. “Okay, I trust you.”
He smiled, lightly grasping either side of my jaw. “We have to go. I’m gonna transport with you just outside of camp. The other campers won’t be able to see me but you’re gonna say you snuck out to visit your dad because you were… I don’t know… having a hard time being the only adult at camp?” he suggested.
I nodded, grasping his hand. Immediately we were standing on the side of a familiar rural road. I looked up at the hill in front of me, just over it was Camp Half-Blood. Turning, I found nothing next to me but Apollo’s hand still intertwined in mine was proof he was still there.
He untangled his fingers from mine and gave me a gentle push on my back to encourage me to walk. I did so hesitantly, slowly walking up the hill. As I spotted the gates of camp. Stood on either side of the arch, were two campers in full battle armor. I could hear an indistinct yell as I approached. Probably alerting Chiron to my reemerged presence.
When I finally reached the “safety” of camp I could sense that Apollo was gone. He had kept a few paces behind me but disappeared once I got past Thalia’s former tree. Meanwhile, there was a new threat currently facing me as both Chiron and Mr. D stared down at me disapprovingly. They so rarely agreed with each other and Mr. D so rarely even bothered to pay attention to us that I knew I was in deep shit. “Y/N,” Chiron said like he was scolding his 16 year old daughter, “come with me.” He turned, trotting away as I followed after him like this was a walk of shame. Dionysus just disappeared.
Once I finally reached the Big House, I spotted Mr. D and a woman in the room. She radiated warmth and life despite the rage coming off of her. “Mother?” I asked.
“How could you!” she immediately yelled. “You were seeing a god behind everyone’s back? Not just any god, Apollo,” she spat angrily. “And then next I hear you’re married to him?” she asked in disbelief. “Y/N, do you know what you’ve gotten yourself into? I’ve already lost one daughter to a god. I won’t lose another one.”
Had I not been speaking to a goddess I would’ve lashed out at her. It’s not like she was ever really there for me. How can you lose someone you’ve never been there for? “You’re not gonna lose me,” I insisted, biting my tongue. “You haven’t lost Persephone either, she’s only in the Underworld for a few months. I will be on Olympus with you.”
“Locked in Apollo’s morally depraved sex mansion,” she spat, clearly upset. My jaw nearly dropped, I was so shocked she actually said that.
“Demeter, as valid as your worries are,” Dionysus reluctantly said, “there is the more pressing matter of Ares trying to murder your daughter. And he’ll keep trying until Zeus grants her immortality.”
“Are those boys still fighting about the arrow in 1918?” Demeter demanded.
“Wait, Ares wants to kill me because Apollo shot him?” I asked.
“Yes, it was an accident but Ares never forgot. Especially because it allowed the Allied powers to win. At the time, Ares was kind of betting on Germany to be the next big thing but then when the Allies all blamed it on Germany, Ares wasn’t happy.” Chiron clarified. “And he wants to destroy Apollo’s happiness in revenge.”
“I don’t want you seeing him,” my mother suddenly demanded, still hyper-focused on the wrong topic. Even Chiron and Mr. D rolled their eyes at that. “He’s a no good playboy.”
“We’re already married. I’m not gonna just stop seeing him. And I knew what I was getting myself into. I made sure he actually wanted a relationship with me before I got attached.”
“Oh please-”
“He married me, didn’t he?” I interrupted.
“Demeter, if it’s any consolation he does seem to genuinely be in love with her,” Chiron defended me. “Apollo has never married in all the millenniums he’s lived. He has finally settled down.”
She looked reluctant to accept his argument but didn’t say anything else.
“S-so what do I do now that Ares wants to kill me?” I asked. “Apollo said that he wouldn’t touch me under your protection,” I looked at Mr. D.
The god of wine still looked reluctant to participate in all this. “Well technically camp belongs to all the gods and I cannot ensure your safety. Besides, Ares has never minded breaking a few rules of war. I’ll have to bring you to a more secure place whilst Apollo tries to convince Zeus.”
Demeter sighed. “I will go help him too but after you are immortalized we are discussing your living arrangement,” she said with a stern finger. Before I could reluctantly agree she was gone.
“Come,” Chiron said with a hand on my back. “You must pack only your essentials. Then Dionysus will take you to the convent you’ll be staying at.”
“Convent?” I asked, stopping in my tracks.
“Well, I am the god of cults,” Mr. D reasoned from behind me. “I have a few of my followers there but enough real nuns to disguise you. You’ll be safe there.”
~
I was only at the convent for two days before I was in danger again.
I had been getting along fairly well with the other nuns. Except for one. Her name was Peggy and she seemed too friendly and was always trying to be alone with me. With this being a place that housed Dionysus’ followers I thought nothing of it until I found myself alone with her.
I had been doing my daily chores of dusting the entire convent when Peggy entered the room I was in. I thought nothing of it until I heard the lock click into place. When I turned I didn’t find the nun, I found a gorgon with a grotesque smile on her face. “Daughter of Demeter, I hadn’t expected to see you here. I heard about your little predicament.” I glanced to the open window across the room. If I could just get outside I could trap the gorgon in nature. “Poor Apollo will be so heartbroken when he realizes his bride is dead before he was even able to give her immortality.”
Grabbing a lamp, I hurled it at the monster while she was still talking. It bounced harmlessly off her, shattering but I was already throwing myself through the window. Jumping through a second story window face first probably wasn’t the best idea but I needed to get her onto the ground. As I hit the ground I felt my wrist crack but I didn’t even have time to consider it because the gorgon was bursting through the window after me. She barely missed jumping on top of me but I rolled out of her path. As she was still regaining her bearings I willed the roots of the earth to wrap around her.
Thousands of roots sprung up from the ground tangling each other and the gorgon until they secured her. Any monster worth their myth could cut through my vines but they would come so fast that the monster couldn’t keep up until they were immobilized by the earth. Once the gorgon stopped moving and had just become an unrecognizable mass of weeds, I willed them to pull her into the ground. I’m sure it was a horrific way to die, having every nutrient in your body sucked out of you from underground until you could only become a pile of ichor that would remain in the earth forever.
As soon as I sensed that her life force was gone, I allowed some vines to wrap around my wrist, using the resources of the earth to heal my broken bones. As I let out a sigh of relief at the pain subsiding, I saw a faint flash of light. Now standing a hundred feet away from me were twin brothers, each standing around six feet tall, in full Greek battle armor. I knew enough about mythology and the context of my situation to know that these were Phobos and Deimos. If they weren’t standing between me and the convent I’d try to run there for safety.
“I’m so glad that gorgon was here,” Phobos said. “If it weren’t for you using your powers we never would have found you.”
Σκατά. Well, I just took down a gorgon, I could imprison these two. I let the earth crawl up their shins but they both just looked at each other with smiles before bursting into flames. Their explosion was so violent it threw me back a few feet.
I let out a groan as pain exploded in my body. Peeling open my eyes, I found the earth underneath their feet scorched and they were laughing. I tried to grow vines around myself to pull me into the earth as protection but a blade was suddenly cutting through them and I was being pulled up by my guimpe. Curse these stupid nun outfits.
“Wait, wait, please,” I begged.
“Too bad for you we don’t get to kill you,” Deimos taunted in my face, still holding me by the guimpe. “Ares is gonna torture you to death and send the footage to your husband.”
I did the only thing I could think of. I spat in his face.
“Ew!” he yelled, dropping me to the ground. I wasted no time tearing off into the woods, barely paying attention to Phobos berating his twin.
I continued on, tearing through the woods to get far enough. Seeing a flash of light, I turned the other way, trying to escape Phobos and Deimos long enough so I could hide. “Y/N!” I heard a familiar yell but I didn’t bother to stop. For all I knew, that was one of the twins playing tricks on me.
As I tried to jump over a branch my skirt got caught, sending me to the ground with a crash. Again, curse these nun outfits. Before I could get up though, there was a weight on me. I immediately began screaming and thrashing, assuming it was either Phobos or Deimos but two hands on my face made me look straight ahead. I calmed down realizing it was Apollo currently sitting on top of me.
“Hey, hey, you’re safe,” he assured me. “It’s just me.” As I started calming down, he pulled the veil off my head. “There we go,” he soothed, pulling me up from the ground. As he was still trying to calm me down, Phobos and Deimos appeared behind him. He whirled around, pushing my body behind his. “Zeus granted her immortality. She is under his protection!”
“What we don’t know can’t be held against us,” Phobos laughed.
But before he could do anything, I found myself in a new place. Olympus, I recognized it. Staring up in awe at all the thrones and the magnificent room made of marble. Eleven gods sat around me, including Ares. A completely golden throne that seemed to shimmer was empty.
I looked around, ensuring my head was bowed to all the gods—especially Ares—I finally reached Zeus, falling to my knee.
“Y/N L/N,” Zeus’ booming voice seemed to echo across the room. “You have been granted immortality by the virtue of your husband, Apollo. With the approval of myself and the fates. I hereby grant you goddess status: Y/N, goddess of healing, daughter of Demeter, and wife of Apollo.”
I don’t know what I was expecting but it was as if an unknown burden I didn’t know I had was lifted.
I stood, unsure what to do but all of a sudden a force was hitting me. As Apollo wrapped his arms around me I knew he had been what knocked into me. “My wife’s a goddess!” he yelled, still hugging me, much to the amusement of the other Olympians.
~
A/N I'm gonna be so fucking fr I had no plot going into this I just wanted to write about Apollo so if anyone has any suggestions or requests of a part 2 that ends this better I'm happy to write them

Hey! I recently saw your work with hcs of the hxh boys and loved it! Wanted to ask if you could do a Hanahaki disease short story with Kurapika except it's the other way around where the reader has the disease. Reader tries to hide it from him but he eventually finds out because of how close they are as friends, if you're comfortable with this request >~<
hanahaki disease with the hxh boys (pt. 2) (kurapika, hisoka, illumi headcanons)
authors note: hi hi! i decided to do this request for all the hxh boys and not just kurapika! i hope that's ok anon!
warnings: mentions of death
this is part two of my hanahaki disease headcanons! you can read part one here where the boys have the disease!
requests are open! please read my rules!
Tumblr media
wow
the poor boy gets very distressed when you just suddenly disappear
you don't answer his calls
you don't answer the door
he doesn't see you anywhere
it's like you just vanished into thin air
little did he know, you're dying
and it's because of him
when the first petal fell from your lips, you knew immediately what it was...and who it was for
you weren't sad that kurapika didn't love you back, you knew he didn't
he was much too focused on his goals, and you didn't want to distract him from his purpose
it was what had kept him going for the longest time after all
and you were honoured to have helped him
but now you were dying and you didn't want kurapika to know
knowing kurapika like the back of your hand, you knew how to hide from him
and so, you holed yourself away in a rundown apartment, letting the hanahaki disease slowly claim your body
kurapika is frantic at this point
he has searched high and low for you to no avail
he even enlisted the help of leorio, killua, and gon to find you
with the dream team assembled, it was only a matter of time until they tracked you down
the boys allowed kurapika to see you alone, not wanting to intrude where they were not welcome
although they were delighted to know that you were still alive
but only just
kurapika knows just by the petal soaked floor what is happening, and he rushes to your side
"who is it?" he asks, dumbfounded that you were dying of unrequited love
who wouldn't love you?
you had stood steadfast by his side time and time again, even when he thought you wouldn't
never once did you walk away
never once did you think of him as a burden
you stood by him, had helped him
he couldn't lose you
not you
"what can I do?" he pleaded, clasping your hand in his own
"there is nothing." you whispered, voice scratchy and hoarse from coughing
"tell me who it is, I'll find them."
"you already have."
"Leorio?"
"no, you idiot, it's you." you teased playfully, knowing that kurapika was anything but stupid
"you're dying because of me?"
"it's okay." you managed to smile at him, happy that he would be with you in your final moments
"I don't understand, why are you dying?"
"you know the myth, you know why."
"I do know the myth, which is why I don't know." kurapika too a break, smoothing back your hair from your forehead. "because I love you too."
it was almost miraculous how quickly the disease cleared from your lungs
you could suddenly breathe again
"really?" you almost didn't dare to believe it
"of course I do." he confirmed, before pulling you into a long awaited embrace
Tumblr media
ok so hisoka is a tough one
he would know about the hanahaki disease
so he would know the signs
why you fell in love with hisoka was an utter mystery to you
you don't even know how it had happened
you had been friends and partners in crime with the man for as long as you could remember
but love? that seemed farfetched
until it wasn't
it began as a small cough, a light tickle in the back of your throat that acted as a warning that the worst was yet to come
you brushed it off, nothing thinking much of it until a petal fell into your hand
your eyes widened once you saw it, you had heard of the myth before during your travels
you knew what was coming
at first you didn't realise that it was hisoka you loved
who was the poor idiot who had won your heart? who were you about to die for?
you were sure to give them hell before you left this world, perhaps even bring them with you to the afterlife
how dare they end your life
only, your coughing grew worse once you saw hisoka again
with his catlike eyes and twisted grin
ah, that was the poor idiot
you knew the likelihood of hisoka every having feelings for you was slim to none, and the fact that you had developed the hanahaki disease was proof of that
unfortunately for you, hisoka was rather astute and noticed that you seemed sick
"don't tell me my favourite person has come down with the sniffles?"
"of course not."
you would avoid him after that, you didn't want him to see you weak
and you certainly didn't want him to find out that you loved him
so you hid, hoping that your death would be swift
hisoka noticed your absence, and he found himself not liking it one bit
you were the one who he enjoyed teasing, and who teased him in return
you were, as much as he was shocked to realise, rather close to him
remembering that you had seemed unwell the last time he had saw you, hisoka began to wonder whether your illness was serious
given the fact that you had disappeared unannounced, he began to think that there was something you were hiding
there is nothing hisoka loves more than a game
and you had unintentionally presented him with a great one
he tracked you down to a quiet forest of all places, surrounded by a field of red petals
hey, if you're hisoka's friend, you're going to be quite dramatic like he is
"my, my, this is quite the scene." he grinned as he approached, before seeing how pale you looked, the blood around your mouth, and the fact that you weren't moving
looking closer at the petals, he could see that they were red because of the dried blood that had stained them
oh, you had the hanahaki disease
considering the fact that you had left him without a word, he came to the correct conclusion
he wasn't an idiot, you clearly loved him
and you were dying
usually, hisoka enjoyed the idea of death but seeing you before him, basically in the afterlife, his perception of it drastically changed
he approached your body, narrowed eyes closely observing the stunted rise and fall of your chest, hearing the shallowness of your breaths
bringing his lips to your ear, hisoka whispered, "you really are quite dramatic, y/n, this is almost too much."
his fingers danced over your chapped lips
"what would you have me do, hm?"
his touch lightly trailed over your closed eyelids
"how unnecessary, considering the fact that I also love you."
it took a little while for you to regain consciousness
when you did, you found hisoka grinning at you
you also found him holding your hand
oh, you were both idiots
Tumblr media
ok so lets just feed into the delusion for a sec that illumi would have the emotional capacity to love someone and actually admit it out loud
i refuse to write sad shit ok
so you love illumi
you had felt the emotion grow the more time you spent with the stoic assassin
it was no surprise when you realised you had developed the hanahaki disease
in fact, you had almost suspected it
once you realised you had loved illumi, it was only a matter of time before you died from it
there was no way someone as emotionally stunted as the eldest Zoldyck sibling would ever feel something remotely close to love, especially in the romantic department, especially for you
you knew him too well, you had been working with him for the longest time
ever since you first laid eyes on him, he was stuck with you
you followed him around, not bothering him enough for him to kill you, but just enough to get to know him
or, more accurately, for him to know you
illumi had grown used to you stubbornly following him around
he had grown to expect your endless chatter that often filled the void of silence
he had grown used to your constant presence
you knew he didn't mind, he had never sent you away
perhaps he was lonely and you fixed that
however, now that you were dying because of him, you had a choice to make
either, you could leave and die in peace, or you could tell him and see whether that would kill you faster
if you chose to hide, it would take him a matter of seconds to track you down - it was his job after all
if you chose the latter, you would mention it briefly, just to see how he would react
either way, the conversation would be the same
"by the way, I'm not going to be around for much longer, so you'll have to do that without me."
"where are you going?"
"to the most mysterious land of all." you smiled, wanting to make a joke out of your upcoming demise. "I have a date with the grim reaper."
illumi was perhaps the most confused you had ever seen him before
you had gone mad - what on earth were you talking about?
"what?"
"I'm dying, illumi." as if on cue, a coughing fit quickly swept through you, and a whole flower fell into your hand. you presented him with the bloodied bloom. "see?'
illumi has never heard of the hanahaki disease before
looking closer at you, he was ever so slightly perturbed to realise that you certainly looked unwell
"you just coughed up a flower."
"well spotted."
"how are you dying?"
you sighed, realising you would have to spell it out for him. "it's called the hanahaki disease, and it is a curse everyone suffering from unrequited love dreads."
"you love someone?"
you laughed darkly, here goes nothing
"you."
if you thought illumi looked confused before, that was nothing compared to now
"me?'
"is that so hard to believe?"
illumi couldn't fathom what he was hearing
someone loved him?
you loved him?
it sounded utterly ridiculous
but there you were, dying before his very eyes
"I don't understand."
"what don't you understand?"
"why are you dying?"
"I just told you why."
he stared at you blankly, black eyes boring into yours. "then the myth is wrong."
"what are you...?" you trailed off, not daring to hope what he might be implying. "do you love me?"
illumi didn't respond, and you didn't know whether he had the capability of admitting the words aloud
despite this, that was good enough for the disease to immediately clear from your lungs
and you took a deep breath to fill them again
gone was the pain, the heaviness, the urge to cough
"you love me." you looked at him again, filled with more hope than ever before
it wasn't a question this time
you knew illumi loved you, in his own special way
you dared to kiss him, and illumi allowed it despite his utter shock
that’s how you knew he meant it

A Pirates Life For Me
Pairings: father Killian Jones x child/teen!reader
Imagine: what it would be like to be Killian Jones child
Warnings: none really, mostly fluff, and Killian Jones being the best father ever, I guess there’s some spoilers for those who haven’t watched all seasons I guess, mention of when he died, NOT proofread yet
A/N back to writing ya’ll (hopefully), thought I’d start it of easy with some headcanons, so a few other will come out too but this is the first because recently I’ve been obsessing over Killian again along with Obi-Wan Kenobi and Hunter (from tbb)
Side note half of this got deleted and couldn’t really remember what I wrote so it’s definitely not as good as the first draft
Tumblr media
First things first you were raised on the Jolly Roger, you would most probably grow up as a pirate, and when old enough you’d help him fighting against the other pirates that would attack you at times
I’m sorry but you’re gonna have to deal with wearing dark colored clothes, he doesn’t do light color therefore neither do you at least until you’re old enough to decide for yourself what clothes you want
You’d beg Killian to buy you the biggest hat ever as you read somewhere that pirates has hats, he never bought you that hat… he did steal a tiny hat that fit you perfectly though…
He was scared to death that he would be like his own father, but don’t worry he’s both like that he’s the best and he’d never leave you like that
Your initials are written beside the wheel (you know where he wrote with his hook for Bae/Neal)
Things you carved into the ship as a kid can still be seen in the most random places
He childproofed the ship, put child locks on nearly every cabinet not knowing if it was child appropriate things in them as the crew would put their things in random places, he did not find the thought of you finding a knife, sword, or gun and accidentally hurt yourself very comforting
Adopted child, biological child, doesn’t matter he loves you the same.
Depending on when you were born you might of watched The Dark One rip the heart out of your father’s lover
One of many traumatic events
Killian values you more than anything else, if he had to choose between revenge or you, he’d always choose you, he’d do anything for you even if it meant him dying
He still knows how to say no to things though
He made a mental list in his head on things he would teach you
1. How to sail
2. How to navigate with stars
3. Sword fighting
4. How to survive on Neverland (just in case Pan decided to kidnap you or something to mess with him)
5. How to escape from Neverland
6. What plants are poisonous or not
7. Do not make deals with the dark one
And then the list goes on and on, he would want to teach you everything he knows about everything really, he just doesn’t want you to make the same mistakes he did, or to end up being a villain as he wants you to get your happy ending
Somewhere along the road you got dragged into wanting to help your father get revenge, nearly succeeded in multiple occasions, but as it turns out villains don’t really get their revenge
You once made the crew find a hook and clothes similar to Killian’s and later on that day you’d run up to Killian, hand clutching a hook and act as if you were the captain of the ship, imitating your father (with a really bad “adult” voice). He would let out a wide smile, eyes twinkling and a soft gaze as he looked down at you trying to reach the wheel. He’d eventually pick you up and let you steer the destination as he helped you turn the wheel the other way than he had set the course too. This was also the first time he taught you how to sail. Or somewhat, it wasn’t like you took much of the information in as you soon got bored and went to watch over the railing at the crashing waves.
Btw I’m tired of fics where Captain Hooks child likes Peter Pan, why because a parents ideals usually sets with the child, meaning you’d probably hate Peter Pan and Rumplestiltskin as much as your father does
He would tell you stories of his older brother and how he was a hero and he wished you’d met him, you would eventually in hell though later as you went to rescue your father so that’s fine, turns out he wasn’t the hero your father made him out to be, but that’s fine you only need one hero and that’s your dad
He would also tell you stories of his adventures, it made for quite the long entertaining tales as he tucked you into bed, kissing your forehead before continuing his story which he altered to be a bit more child friendly and a bit more dramatic
He lets you have some of his clothes when he’s going away for a long time because he knows you’ll miss him
He lets you wear his jackets/coats, you freezing he’s already put his jacket/coat over you, even if they’re too big for you , he loves how adorable you look in it as he’s reminded that you’re still just a child and he doesn’t want you to grow up
He’d try to teach you how to paint, might succeed might not still he loves the bonding time he’s good at painting in any universe you can’t tell me otherwise
He hates seeing you hurt
If you get hurt on a raid he’d made sure whoever hurt you would suffer, you want him kiss the injury better, he’d do so in a heartbeat even if it meant his reputation would falter slightly
He starts dating someone else (Emma) he’d make sure that person treated you right, if not he’d dump said person
If he founds out you like someone he wouldn’t be overprotective, he’d still be protective but he’d mostly be supportive. He’d tease you about it until it became annoying, he’d encourage you and give you advice (even if most of his advice failed)and if it failed he’d be there to comfort you through it all
You’d blame Emma for turning Killian into a dark one and you’d blame Emma for Killian’s death
When you rescued Killian from hell he promised you he’d never die again if not of old age and that he’d never take of his good luck ring ever again as you thought he jinxed it by giving it to Emma
You were glad for his sake when he married Emma just because you saw your father happy with someone else again and not just grieving and seeking revenge for his ex lover
He hugs surprisingly great, he’s like your human sized pirate teddy bear
He misses the times when you would come into his room late at night after a nightmare and crawl under the covers and cuddle close to him, not because you had a nightmare but because he liked that you knew you would always be safe with him
He would hate that you’d have nightmares after his death and you no matter what age you are in would sometimes go into his room to make sure he was still alive and maybe even sleep beside him, he’d wake up to you sprawled out over the whole bed clutching his side tightly as if you were afraid he’d disappear
Will make sure you get your happy ending
He’s just father material it’s as simple as that (just look at Nook, love Nook though but original Hook is the best)
