You seem to be a certified Penance enjoyer- as someone who just E2d her, any advice on masteries? All her skills look decent, but I'm not sure of the use cases

She's M9 material. All three skills are good.

You mostly see S3 because it's the only skill that directly fills her Barrier, in addition to giving her an ungodly high Attack steroid (which in turn means potent counters). It's straightforward: Get hit enough times, unleash the raw blistering might of the average Italian woman, sleep time is forever. Blemishine makes this skill absurd due to her talent for defensive chargers.

S2 is deceptively strong: Everything in a box around her will get hit for 110% of her ATK as Arts per second at M3 while granting Penance Sanctuary (damage reduction). Not only is this true AoE, damage per second skills are unaffected by ASPD, so even if she's got a fat ASPD debuff from enemies or hazards, S2 allows her to keep hitting things quickly. It's also faster than her normal interval, so it'll also result in a damage increase despite its defensive nature.

S1 is a big hit that can overcharge, and when overcharged, deals an additional instance of Arts damage in besides the normal hit (wording of this skill has led to some people to believe it simply changes the hit to Arts, instead of adding an additional instance of damage altogether) in addition to a small stun. It's for when you need to clean elites quickly and frequently.

S3 > S2 > S1 but they are all great skills to master.

i know some people are disappointed with how bad most of the dungeon meshi charas are and i am too bc like laios feels so like unusable. but im also glad they arent giga op bc yato alter being a collab lim whos giga op with a low low chance of rerunning was ass. collab charas should still be usable tho so i think they kinda failed in that aspect esp for laios and maybe senshi. either way im still glad we got this bc crash fever used to get so many anime collabs and i never got into gbf but i miss the anime collabs...

this is my favorite arknights base combo, though. it does require having the entirety of pinus sylvestris E2d, including Flametail in the CC along with E2 Viviana, so it's not exactly. resource efficient. but this baby can crank out so many battle records
