Thank you so much! I've never really taken proper classes, I learn by studying on my own -- drawing what I see around me, studying other artwork, studying photos, and mostly just a lot of experimenting and figuring out what I enjoy. I think it's evident I lack a solid foundation and am not a very technically skilled artist but that's ok, I'm always trying to learn and am still trying to figure out what direction to take my art in

I wanted to share this since, I had an old friend ask me how to draw hands since I know how hard it is to draw hands, this is a easy step on how to draw hand for beginnings( I’m not good at teaching) this helped me how to draw hands better. U can draw hand in ur style too, this is just a easy step to draw em. Also this method doesn’t always work in different poses to draw hands. But it can also.

if your drawing hair tutorial doesn't go over curly and kinky hair, you're not teaching "how to draw hair," you're teaching how to draw straight hair.

if your rendering skin tutorial doesn't go over dark skin, you're not teaching "how to render skin," you're teaching how to render white skin.

if your sculpting and rigging human bodies tutorial doesn't go over fat bodies, you're not teaching "how to sculpt and rig people," you're teaching how to sculpt and rig thin people.

it's fine not to know everything about a subject and not to know how to do a specific thing, but don't pretend you can teach how to do an art technique in general if it only applies to models/characters/etc of a certain privileged status

Do you have tutorial videos on how to draw like you do ?

Awww!! Omg, I’m actually so honored that you want a tutorial from lil’ ol’ me!! I’ve mentioned this before, but art wasn’t my first medium of creativity, writing was, so I’ve always been a bit insecure about my art. I’m definitely more confident in it now that I’ve had a lot of practice, but I still need to break out of that mindset of comparing myself to other artists, pffffffft.

I don’t have any tutorial videos, but I can also offer a bit of extra advice here. Just putting a pencil to paper can help a lot, especially if one is in art block. It can really help with pushing through that tough spot of feeling like you can’t draw anything. Just getting anything sketched can really make a difference. Using actual paper to draw some things can really help you improve, there’s just something about using a physical medium once in awhile that really gets the creative juices flowing.

Looking at other artists’ work and supporting them can also go a long way for inspiration. I know for a fact that I’m as good an artist as I am today because of all of the incredible artists I’ve gotten inspired from.

A couple other things I can say is that coloring your lineart, if you do lineart, can make a huge difference in making your art look nicer. And turning on stabilization was an absolute game-changer for me. It made making lineart so much faster and nicer.

art is so frustrating. i have such bad coordination. i want to be able to draw like an amazing artist Can but it just doesn’t make sense to me. there’s nothing intuitive about the lines and the shading and everything I just can’t do it I don’t get how some of y’all are so talented it feels impossible. I’m trying to take up a new hobby to cure the incurable ADHD boredom but it won’t work if I fucking suck at everything I try. i just don’t get it. how. my mind cant process it I’ll never be an artist
