I love 19th century clothes in all their varieties and I love retro scifi (wouldn't have started my comic if I didn't fhdhjdhjdfhj) - and clearly i've been aching for more cowboy art (and for another excuse to draw college era fidds) - cause this was really fun HGDFGHDGH

I've been meaning to ask, in the Silent Shanty au, how do Eclipse and Y/n know each other? And why doesn't Y/n remember him?

Well, they spent a summer together a long time ago.

Eclipse would travel overseas with his father during the summer, and while playing on the beach one afternoon he got swept out to sea by the current. Y/N helped pull him back to shore, and the two played together everyday that summer.

Those summer memories have always held a place in Eclipse’s heart, and he’s spent years trying to find them again. But it was such a long time ago Y/N’s nearly forgotten

when you finally have the resources to build omega kerfur, despite the manual clearly stating to only use one, you can't bear to discard the motherboards of either of your beloved base kefurs, whom you affectionately called sun and moon... so you do the sensible thing: ignore the instructions and plug both of them into the ai chip

despite their cracked, glitchy screen, eclipse is as helpful as their components. the ability to get hashcodes for you is all the better, giving you time to explore the skies and mysteries surrounding your new temporary home

I'll also be doing sun/moon/Eclipse (either kind!), sun/moon/reader, and sun/moon/oc!! But I will not do glamrocks or any furry ocs cause I can't draw furries <3 (like not that I dont want to, I just can't. I've tried)

I also will NOT do nsfw! Midly suggestive in a joking way is fine, but nothing nsfw!!! Or heavily suggestive!

I also will not do any tsams ones! I will do masm tho!!!

About the recent Lynx ask...

Are you implying that Aven does bird dances for Edda?

Also the way it's phrased... I remembered that you mentioned Aven could temporarily turn his scarf into a pair of wings... hmmmmm. Does Aven gets a... more permanent set or wings or am I reading into that ask to much-

So *snrk* Lynx gave me ideas-

The scarf is surprisingly unrelated in the long run, though it does continue to play it's role. lemme refresh myself on the convo rq-

The short version is: *Lynx joking about Aven metaphorically strutting around like a peacock* -> Me commenting how hilarious it would be if Aven actually did the peacock strut for Edda -> Lynx pointing out that Aven's mom is an angel, so THEORETICALLY-

End result: There is, at any rate, some sort of dancing involved in Angelic courting culture (if not the same dealio as literal birds), and Aven inherited some of the natural gut urge for that.

The problem? Aven has. NO CLUE. How to do it properly. THEREFORE:

Some of the Ophanim dudes (or really any of the male angels), catch sight of Aven's attempted strut-shenanigans around Edda, are confused for a split second, and collectively go

"Hey wait I recognize that instinct, that's a youngin' without any coaching! We must remedy this!"

"Hmmm yes we must remedy this for his sake and his love's, let us endeavor to council this young one in the correct methods of struttage."

(Addition from Lynx: But after they have a good hearty laugh over him making a fool of himself in front of his girlfriend.)

One Ophan ducks down to talk to him and Aven recognizes him as one of Tephira's flockmates, so initially he's like "uhhhh oh dear what's happened now." But then he sees the absolute shite-eating grin on this dude's face, and that dread switches from serious to seriously comedic undertones.

I think there's part of Eclipse that wishes he'd died with the rest of the Black Arms. Being the last hope for your kind is an awful burden to bear, but he's the Ultimate Alien, he can handle it of course he can. But after he's defeated by Shadow, by the heroes, again and again and again, having no one to talk to except the dark arms who are babies, having no guidance and no hope beyond dragging Shadow down with him, I imagine being on that comet when it exploded is a tempting idea.

I don't know if you take requests,but if you do,would you be interested in making a sort of "fixed" Eclipse design,maybe you could even tie it to the Finders Keepers au.It's just a suggestion tho,consider it maybe (or don't),also what app/s do you use to draw?

Also I use Krita to draw 90% of my stuff; When I'm away or don't have my computer and display I use IbisPaint X!

I do take requests, but im pretty slow at doing them + sometimes i either dont have time or just. fucking forget like a goldfish

As for eclipse in my AU, im still trying to land on a design, but I want him to be a mix between the fanon and the canon designs ( I like the idea of 4 arms), so for now he just looks like a wet sad cat
