i've written to many love letters to you and not enough to myself

sing me a song while i sleep so that your voice may enter my dreams

in the midst of my chaos i found solace in you

[eefrostpoetry]

let me kiss the moonlight off your lips and be born again

[eefrostpoetry]

i hope one day i'll be able to forgive myself for not being what you wanted

[eefrostpoetry]

i was so desperate to be loved that i didn't see you were incapable of loving me

[eefrostpoetry]

i thought i just wanted to be alone until i looked up and everyone was gone

[eefrostpoetry]

at least the sound of the rain hitting my car's roof distracts my brain from all these dark thoughts

why does healing have to feel like letting go

[eefrostpoetry]

i whisper deep, dark wishes to the moon on those cold nights when i should be talking to you

[eefrostpoetry]

if we are quiet we will be able to hear the soft sounds of nature's breath

[eefrostpoetry]

i started writing because i was incapable of talking

[eefrostpoetry]

your silence spoke louder than your words ever could

[eefrostpoetry]

my heart will be yours until the sun burns out and the universe collapses into nothing

[eefrostpoetry]

inside of her was a universe unfolding endlessly; a heart that knew no bounds
