Good Znews and eBad news

Okay, time to brief you all on that little series I've been working on. There will be no audio drama. I took on a project I had little experience Pwith and no account of it's scale which caused me to overwhelm 1myself.

I am still telling this mstory, however! and honestly, I think I prefer this method of storytelling. In wfact this is a medium that I've enjoyed on the consumer end for years, and I can't wait to share my own version jwith you!

At what point do we acknowledge that capitalism has effectively turned the whole internet into an overflowing molten landfill? And anything that hasn't become a dumpster fire YET inevitably will as soon as money takes priority over community? Whether it's compromising to make enough money to keep a site alive, or the owners being greedy little shits and just wanting more for the sake of having more.

More money. More money. More money. Even when it's enough, it's not enough. Fuck these corporations and their "growth at any cost" mentality. You know what else grows at any cost and eventually destroys the systems that brought it to life in the first place?

When I'm playing City of Heroes, I will sometimes take screenshots of other player characters if I think they're interesting, clever or funny in some way. I will usually upload these screenshots to Imgur, in order to share them on different forums and other places.

However, a while ago, I came across one particular character which was apparently just too spicy for Imgur. When I first uploaded the screenshot of him, it was deleted shortly thereafter. I tried uploading it again, this time marking it as "mature", but even then it got deleted pretty quickly. So instead, I'm going to share this absolutely shocking and horrible character with you on here. Click on the "read more" to see what was apparently just too much for the Imgur mods to handle...

I will admit that he is pretty disgusting. It might be a little difficult to see in the screenshot, but the character makes creative use of the costume option that gives your a "cape" of flowing liquid, in this case brown liquid, to simulate a constantly flowing stream of... well, y'know.

But still, I was kind of surprised that a superhero poop joke was apparently just too much for Imgur.
