Okay. Hi. I love you guys and the things you do so so much. EMD is now a regular part of my life that gives me an incredible feeling of joy every time I see an update. I am sorry if what I will say now is offensive but I think the fic has a slight glorifying on Two's side. I am not saying it is bad, perhaps Donatello is your favourite so you want to focus on him though it really hurts me whenever One is humiliated or rejected by Two. I mean they both did horrible things to each other but-I may be wrong, it is only my perspective- I think Two's actions are more justified.
Anyway, I just wanted to share my thoughts on this masterpiece of a fanfiction. Have an excellent day and goodbye.
Hi! So happy you're enjoying our silly fic it means a lot to see how much people are still invested in what's going on with the boys and I'm glad you pointed this out.
I've noticed that some of you guys have felt that Two is being too hard on One or that his actions seem to be getting justified. It's true that Two is being super hard on One right now and it seems like we're, in a sense, glorifying Two by shedding light on One's mistakes and how he screwed up, but I'd like to clarify that our intention is to shed light on both sides of the conflict!
In season 1, we see how Two's betrayal affects One. The story was focused on One and his reactions, his anger. This season, it's Two's turn to be angry and to react to the events of season 1 and the way he grew up as a whole. Season 2 allows Two to work through his anger about being mistrusted, disrespected, silenced and overall stuck in One's shadow, so that's why he's being really harsh with One now.
At this point, One feels really guilty about what happened in season 1 and he's evolving a LOT more than Two (who is actually backsliding) because he's had the time to think about what happened and feel bad about how he reacted to it. He never wanted to hurt his brother, but he lost sight of that after Two chose Draxum over him. One is still angry, he's just not taking it out on Two anymore. That's part of his character development :D He will also get a chance to be angry about his upbringing and the fight in S1 like Two does, we just haven't gotten to that part yet.
Basically, we're not trying to say that Two is completely innocent or that one twin is more to blame than the other. They were both wrong. Essentially, we’re just giving them each a turn to be angry with each other. Teaa compares the chapter povs to a microphone that's being passed between One and Two that lets them scream their case lol. So if it seems like we're giving Two too much sympathy in comparison to One it's because we're focusing on his POV more Teaa's Note: I would also like to note that we have a specific plan for the pacing of the characters' development and setting up certain plot points for later that we need to establish in each chapter, so your reaction to the recent chapters is kind of according to our bigger plan! I agree it IS painful when Two keeps shutting One out and taking his anger out on him. We get to see One's guilt eating him up enough that his family has to tell him to let it go and move on, even if it's without Two. He is learning to forgive himself, even if Two isn't ready for that yet. Meanwhile, Two has to get his anger out now that he's no longer being silenced at every turn so that (when he's ready) he can start healing too. I hope this clears things up a little bit! Thank you for the ask. Gives us an idea of the way people might be interpreting the fic, which will help us make sure we don't miss any important points we need to bring up in future chapters lol

But it’s falling apart quicker than they realise. And Donnie isn’t sure he can fix it, but like hell is he going to lose his family again.

My life as a artist and inspiration for making fanart!
It all started when i was 3, i remember ive been drawing a lot of stickmans cuz they just were very easy to draw and it was like some kind of "stickman stories or fantasy idk?" And i seen to end up enjoying it but not only that, i would later draw sirens and other stuff i was fascinated to, and i kept drawing stickmans until later on i then would finally get my braincells to regenerate and make myself more mature, i stopped drawing stickmans all the time, i started to get into oc! And other kinds of art style and i would as of today draw whatever i had a idea on my head for the near future and many more years to come!
Inspiration
I saw a fanmade animation of where a video is called aging which was a edit from a youtuber named whoamiedits
This is what it looks like:

I saw that video but i didnt clicked on it cuz idk whats about to happen there, i was just more into anime and i didnt know what that video was, it was like somekind of randon animation, that was my first thing i saw something related to omori before joining the fandom and i saw it to this day and i was like "wait that video looks familiar to me" it was back in 2021 when i saw it and omori was like 1 years old, but then after joining the fandom after watching a mclovin video but omori version and i seen to enjoy the fandon, i was a big kny fan by the time, and theres was very popular stuff going on in the fandom, but when did i got into omori fanart? It all started with the first ever one i posted, i originally used it for my art class i then i did not recognize.... I actually made a actual omori fanart and that surprised me! So then i decided to make more! And it made me happy and even thanks to art class, it also helped me more! And it was a great piece of thing I will ever do I will still make art to this day and thats where are are today!
Alright enough yapping me :/

So thats all theres more art im gonna make and other stuff so, you reached the end! Thanks for reading and enjoy! :)

Train Talk...Thursday?!
Train Talk Thursday: "Train Talk...Thursday?! What gives?! ARE YOU TRYING TO CAPITALIZE ON HAVING MORE THAN ONE DAY TO TALK ABOUT TRAINS?!?!?!?!"
Sigh, I guess you got me. Truth be told, I decided to do this because I had a simple idea that would work well as a "bonus" post of sorts, and I did feel bad for missing this week's post. So as a little treat, I've chosen to do this bonus post where I give names to some of Amtrak's locomotives! Yes, this post will be this because I was talking about how locomotives today don't have cool names, and a friend on Discord suggested I give these locomotives some names, so if you're reading this friend on Discord, thanks again! :D
How this will work is I'm going to show a picture of the locomotive in question, then give it a name, and then explain why I gave it said name. Pretty simple, really.
To keep this post short, I'll only be doing 4 locomotives, as this is mainly meant to be a bonus post, not it's own post. In the future, I may do this type of thing again with more locomotives, where maybe I could even have you all help me name a few. Now, without further delay, let's get rolling!
GE Genesis P40/42/32AC-DM
Easily the most recognizable locomotive class on Amtrak, I have decided to bestow upon it the name "Gene". My reasoning being that since this is easily the most common locomotive (at the time of this post), it feels a little big "generic" in a way. There's nothing too special about this locomotive, since it's basically everywhere. That, and the name literally comes from the word "Generic". It's a common workhorse on Amtrak, so that's why it's earned this name.
EMD AEM-7
The AEM-7 was an interesting one for me. It's one of the two locomotives on this post that already has nicknames for it, being the "Swedish Meatball" and the "Toaster", but I wanted to give it something that wasn't a reference to its origins nor shape. I wanted to do something in regards to its electric traction, but I really couldn't come up with anything for it after I decided on a name for the ACS-64. So for this one, I have given it the name of "Sam". My main inspiration for the name was how the AEM-7s were smooth running, capable, and speedy locomotives which carried the Northeast Corridor until they passed the torch to the new ACS-64s. And yet, they weren't anything too flashy or modern, at least by today's standards. Just capable electric workhorses, which is why I've given it the name "Sam".
Siemens ACS-64
And here comes the AEM-7 successor, the ACS-64. For this one I decided to give it the name "Sparky". As mentioned in the AEM-7 segment, I wanted it to give it a name that was somewhat related to how it's electric powered. Issue is most electric terms don't seem to work well, so I had to ditch that. I eventually chose to give it the name of "Sparky", since the name starts with the letter "S", and I figured it worked well for this class since the company that builds these also starts with an "S", and the ACS-64s are some very sleek locomotives. So as a result, Sparky stuck as the ACS-64s name.
Avelia Liberty
Now this isn't a locomotive, I know, it's actually a trainset, but I honestly couldn't resist the urge to add this in since I have some very choice words regarding this trainset.
The name I have chosen for this is "Glitchy".
Why?
Simple.
Because this thing has so many goddamn issues that I'm honestly amazed that Alstom hasn't been sued by Amtrak at this point.
I'm not going to dive into the specifics as Alan Fisher already has a fantastic video about it here but the sparknotes are that this thing has been encountering a ton of delays because Alstom has been having issues testing it on the Northeast Corridor, along with outside of the video the Avelia Liberty is having a slew of mechanical issues which is keeping it in testing phase, which I suspect was due to Alstom not finalizing the design before having 28 sets built for Amtrak. Thanks again Alstom!
So because of the problems with the Avelia Liberty which is keeping it out of service still, I have awarded it the name "Glitchy". When the Avelias do go into service I will reconsider this name, but as it stands right now, that doesn't appear to be happening anytime soon.
And that's it! Just a fun little post as an apology for missing a few weeks. For next week, it will be once again about Amtrak, except it will be more serious than this silly post. After that, I may take a break from posts, since it will be Christmas for me, and I want to focus on that instead. Until then, thanks for reading, and I hope to see you all for next week!

Both announcements are for the same upcoming game. One was the teaser trailer/video and one was the full announcement itself with some more detail, but both were for the same thing. Just like the crowdfunding campaign is also for the same game.
It's almost midnight for me right now and I'm literally in bed, so this isn't going to be a super long or detailed response, sorry. I might come back to this tomorrow when I'm not already half asleep.
To cut to the chase, I just want to ask - who do you think they're talking about then, if not the reat of the OM cast? Who do you think they mean when they say "adding more characters in the future" if they don't mean TriWorlds and/or the undateables?
Which do you honestly think is more likely? That the characters they add in future updates are the established, beloved characters we've known for 5+ years and already have significant store importance? Or that the characters they add will be some completely new OCs made just for this new game, while the established cast gets erased?
There's just literally no one else they could possibly be talking about when they say that they will be adding more characters after the brothers. There are no other characters in the franchise. We've already had relationships with TriWorlds/the Undateables for multiple years. There's just simply no other possibility.
As for their wording, this is almost certainly due to long-held industry standards. In the business of game development, especially in a public-facing sector like social media, there is an unwritten but nearly universal rule that you should never say anything definitive until it actually gets released. This is more true for mobage studios and indie devs (and not so much for huge AAA studios like say, Nintendo) but the point remains the same.
Even if the OM Team already has TriWorlds on the books, even if they already have everything planned out for how and when they're going to be added, even if everything is already set in stone on their emd of things, it's still not something that they are likely to announce definitively until it actually happens. This can be for all sorts of reasons, the biggest of which is because a studio never wants to "promise" something that they can't deliver. If there's unexpected difficulties or obstacles in the production progress that leads to things being delayed, you end up with an outraged fanbase because the content you already announced has to suddenly be postponed. Just look at, well, literally any delayed game release ever.
If your voice actor has to suddenly drop out or falls ill and they can't perform for a period of time, or if your dev team gets hit with unexpected workload increases, or any other possible reason for why things could get delayed or pushed back, YOU become the asshole and your studio gets a bad reputation because you didn't deliver on what was promised.
So, what most game devs will do is make an announcement that's as close to a clear-cut confirmation as possible, while still leaving just the SLIGHTEST amount of wiggle room in their wording so that they will be covered if anything goes wrong that disrupts the release schedule.
This is why you'll see game trailers have small fine print on the bottom of the screen, stating things like "game footage not final" just in case anything changes before the game is released.
So, for the most part, yes. We can take the announcement to mean that TriWorlds will be added to the game after the brothers. At the absolute most, the OM Team worded things the way they did just in case anything causes delays or schedule changes. Promising something concrete and then not being able to deliver is never good.
As for the other points you bring up...I think there's a huge schism between the perspective of a fan/player, and the perspective of the game devs and people on the actual staff.
Because I'm coming at this from the position of someone actually in the industry. I've worked in mobage game studios. I've worked on mobile games. I've been a writer (and hell, even a voice actor) for these things. I've had face-to-face meetings and engagements with members of the OM staff on more than one occasion. Some of these people are my peers in the industry. That's not me saying that my opinion is more valuable, or that my experience holds more weight or anything like that (because I'm not a Solmare employee and I don't work on OM, as much as I wish I did, lmao) but I'm just hoping it helps give perspective from the other side of the screen.

Solmare just announced that a new Obey Me! app is currently in development.
According to the video included in their tweet, it's scheduled to release in 2025 and focuses on the 'what if' scenario of living married life with the brother of your choice and the side characters are nowhere to be seen so far

December Predictions Pick-a-Card
Hello all! I wanted to do another reading for you all since you've been so supportive and patient with me! I cannot begin to tell you how grateful I am with your interactions with my posts! It really encourages me to come back and do more! I hope you enjoy!

Go ahead and take a moment to meditate (if you feel called to do so) on these four piles, then select the one that resonates most with you.
Group One

Group One, I get the impression that you will be faced with some sort of conflict with either a friend or close family member this month. You are being guided to set up boundaries for yourself. Only give your energy to those who have your best interests at heart. Maybe you know who I am refering to, as I get the feeling that for some of you, there has been an ongoing conflict with seemingly no end at sight. Know this: you are allowed to remove yourself from this situation and start fresh. If they don't want to see you succeed, why keep them in your life? Whether you cut them off or not is a decision you have to make. If the situation allows, perhaps a truce is a better route to take. I feel as though this is going to be a draining month for you, so make sure you are taking care of yourself. There is no shame in needing to take out more time to rest. Use this time to do some inner work. Keep pushing through, and by the end of the month - and going into the new year - I see big rewards coming your way. Additional guidance: listen to your dreams this month. Perhaps start a dream journal. Work with your spirit team to pull through the colder days.
Group Two

Hello, Group Two! I can tell you are going to have a busy month ahead of you. For many of you, a lot of that is due to traveling to see family this season. One big thing that I am seeing is that you may be thrown into a position of being a mediator in friend/family drama. You are being encouraged to set boundaries for yourself, as well as to encourage healthy communication. Know when you need to step away, though. On a more personal level, I feel as though you may want to do some Shadow Work this month to release any fears or bad habits that are blocking you from moving forward. You are coming to an end of a cycle, prove to the Universe that you have learned the lessons you were meant to learn. Be wise with your money this month. Saving up now may lead to taking a trip in the future. Additional guidance: Trust your instincts. You are an intuitive person, listen to that. Use this month to strengthen that gift.
Group Three

A beautiful reward is coming your way, Group Three! You have been working hard towards a goal and are now getting ready to see the pay-off! I feel as though in working towards this goal, you isolated yourself and built walls to protect this goal. You are being told that it is okay to let these walls fall! Celebrate your success with others. Know that while this is the completion of this cycle, it is not the emd of the whole story! Keep expanding! Keep creating this month! Utilize this momentum! See this situation for what it is, and be proud of yourself. YOU did this! Congratulations! Enjoy the celebration this month, Group Three!
Group Four

Group Four, I am seeing a month of insomnia for you. What worries can you let go of? You are being encouraged to accept whatever failure you have faced so that you can learn and grow from it. I feel as though you are either going to find someone to lean on this month, or you yourself will be a shoulder to cry on for someone else. I think it is important this month for you to get in the habit of taking self care more seriously. You are so worthy of love! Accept yourself and nurture yourself this month. I see the possibility of a love offer being made, both romantically or platonically. Look to where you can take control of your life this month to make your dreams a reality. Don't be afraid to ask your loved ones for support. Overall, I see this being a month of inner work. Just try not to completely isolate yourself.
I hope these readings were helpful!
Sending love and light to those who wish to receive if!💖

Dear user @beau-broke , I never once said that Jews and Muslims hate each other, nor did I say that I was a Zionist. Firstly, as our synagogue teaches, jews and muslims are cousins. I think you're actually quite rude to take my language out of context. When I reblogged those news stories, it was in response to the fact that this user has been gaslighting me for weeks through comments, asks, etc. And trying to make it seem like all Jews around the world have been safe and nothing bad is happening to them and that I need to shut up. The thing is, I can't shut up when my sister has basically been made to homeschool through her college semester because of the hate on her campus, or when my mother had to leave her work place because she was getting Jihadist threats from a co-worker who is still under probation, or when I opened my instagram to see that people who used to be my friend had reposted the most antisemitic (not antizionist, literal posts saying 'hitler was right') rhetoric I've ever seen. Not to mention the countless Nazis on social media sending me anonymous claims that they will emd my life. This is not about Israel, it's about Jews. I work closely with a humanitarian organization that has not only funded but actually rescued several Palestian and Israeli victims from the attacks. I've seen and heard first hand about the brutality of Hamas and their bloodthirst for even their own people. I never 'created a boogeyman', it was just already there. The hate of Jews has spanned centuries, and until people realize that they can't just wipe us off the planet and move on, we will always struggle, and we will always grieve. Palestinians are dying, and Jews are dying. The governments responsible need to be taken out... but both Jews and Muslims have a right to the land, historically, linguistically, and biologically. There is no such thing as 'my land' or 'your land' when for centuries both peoples have lived peacefully side by side with one another. It has only become this argument because of the violence, and the need to take sides. Stand on the side of human life, and show care and love for the peoples who are also innocent. They didn't ask for this, and they are not responsible for the attrocities of their government. As for your statement of understanding and compassion, I just want to say that through all my support and care of Palestinians in this dark time, I've not had one person on the opposing side give any condolences or grievances about my friend and her mother, who I now know, has been killed. But thank you, for at least not being so sarcastic and mindnumbingly brutal with your commentation that you became antisemitc, as most people have been lately. I hope that in the future you will open your mind, and try to be more willing to understand someone else's point of view, and not just your own, especially when those of us dealing with death threats are trying to exist with as much patience and peace as possible considering the circumstances.
i hate that I even have to do this:
if I have one more fucking mutual on this site dm me a free palestine post during this time when they know that I’m not only jewish but have one of my closest friends fighting for her life while her parents have been kidnapped by hamas (openely funded by Palestinians) i will lose my shit. I’ve messaged some of you privately and you still persist to think you know more. It is disgusting how you keep your narrative without doing the research just to prove a point. I am so close to losing my mind and deleting tumblr for a while, since you guys clearly don’t understand how big of a problem this actually is. I didn’t want to have to make a public post, but at this point, I’m tired of responding to conversations where all I hear about is the pity you are giving to the groups that are murdering my people. There has not been this many jews killed in a single day since the time of the holocaust, so if you’re okay with that, go ahead and reveal yourself as a nazi and let me move on with my life. I stand with Israel, and I don’t give a shit about your opinion. Fuck hamas, and if you’re siding with them (simply because they are in alliance with Palestine) then fuck you too.

NSM (New Sound Music)
I must have been landed in an alternate universe of the game No Straight Roads, because the entire plot of the dream bears too much resemblance to the game that I must have been in it.
Taking place in a highly futuristic version of London city, taking possible around several decades from the present and into the future. London is the seated location of NSM (New Sound Music Inc.), a megacorp that is described as incorporating elements of NSR (from No Straight Roads) and with strong cyberpunk elements, essentially making NSM the NSR in this futuristic of London. The city is built with a mixture of modern architecture with cyberpunk aesthetics, and many of the roofs in the buildings are in dark color such as dark burgundy.
NSM is composed of six EMD megastars, just like its main and canonical counterpart. Because the dream doesn’t go into detail of who these people are, I’m giving them names for the convenience.
AKIRA (or 明) is a singing android whose overall appearance is basically a tacky Oiran. She wears a bright red kimono top in a furisode-style, but the lower section of her dress is a giant, frilly one like a ballgown, in which it is bright red in color. She also has an exquisite headdress, with blue and red flowers and golden pins over her black bobbed hair. She is literally white skinned, as she is an android. Her representative music genre is assumed to be traditional Japanese folk music with soft-sounding EDM.
Xavis is a NSM megastar who looks like a bad guy-like, futuristic megacorp soldier or secret police officer, his design bears greet resemblance to many of them in various cyberpunk works. It consists with a helmet with futuristic combat lenses that leaves the lower half of his face exposed, making him look cold. He also wears a black futuristic armored suit with blue futuristic lines and pieces of hard metallic guards in his outfit such as shoulder pads, knee pads and hip pads. Because of his appearance, I think of him as represented by harder and aggressive types of EDM, like dubstep.
UNION is a five-person band, which consists of three men and two women. They are dressed in mainly black and red suits and plants, they resemble like matadors or bullfighters, down to looking like them. Despite this, they function as some sort of a hybrid band-styles like American boy bands and Korean pop bands, due to their incredibly flamboyant poses in promotional images. It is easy for me to think of them as taking the styles and inspirations of both sides.
Sonya Alice reminds me of SAYU, a virtual idol. In this case, Sonya Alice seems to be a vTuber with J-Pop and K-Pop elements, though it can be an educational guess of her being a vTuber. She wears a black and red outfit, which is a jacket, buttoned seifuku, plaited skirt, knee length socks and shoes along with a sling bag, headphones, a ribbon head accessory and earrings. As such of her inspiration, her music genre covers pop music, with touches of EDM such as anything that has -core in it.
Snow White is a megastar child prodigy, not like YINU. Just like YINU, White wears a black and red outfit, just like her fellow megastars UNION and Sonya Alice, which consists of a swallowtail suit, red undershirt, slacks and formal shoes. Very unusually, her hair is also styled like a bundle of rose just like YINU, which would make her like a parallel universe version of YINU herself. Her genre, unsurprisingly, would be guessed to be neoclassical, or artcore in the real world, and I wouldn’t mind if she turns out to be Deemo incarnate.
The main head of NSM is… DJ Subatomic Supernova??? I was honestly surprised to see that he is the CEO of NSM. He is visually unchanged and so is his music.
All of these NSM megastars are seen in various posters and promotional images of London, even when I am having what appears to be browsing on a computer. NSM has complete control of the city, and most of its superstars are even champions in battle.
Speaking of battle…
o----------------------------------------------------------------------o
BATTLE:
This dream does not lie that majority of the NSM megastars are capable of combat.
Taking place in a battlefield of an unknown location, AKIRA and Xavis are fighting against waves of invading forces that are trying to dismantle the system set upon by NSM, and is pretty much represented by robots, creatures and humanoids. Leading a group of black armored futuristic soldiers with neon blue Tron-lines, AKIRA and Xavis lead their troops into combat. AKIRA wields a ridiculously sharp katana that can slice anything in one hit. Xavis doesn’t seem to fight and is more of leading and teamworking with a personal squad of his own, with rifles and shields ready.
The enemies are mostly robots, tin-can variants, along with some other versions such as a pendulum-shaped robot and miniature ships. They are based in and contain various sounds of other music genres, such as EDM, Jazz, Country, Rock and Pop, so it is like the plot of No Straight Roads, but with the alternate-universe NSR named NSM as the main protagonists. They emit soundwaves that can “disrupt the harmonical heartwaves”, or something like that, and are to be disposed off as soon as possible. Every time one of these musical assassin robots get defeated, they will fling off and explode, with a short sound of their representative music genre being emitted for a final time.
So far, AKIRA gets a lot of action, running through the battlefield and slicing up invading robots, which causes me to hear some sounds from Jazz and Country. Meanwhile, Xavis orders his troops to split and scatter around, pointing to various robots that were in his sight.
o----------------------------------------------------------------------o
NON-BATTLE:
When they are not fighting, the NSM megastars would do their own musical business, but there is an interesting occasion when they aren’t making their own music, holding concerts or getting into fights.
Somewhere in one of the many lakes of this version of London, in a much farther part of the outskirts where there are still nature around it, the megastars of NSM are in a large island in a lake, which is shielded by mountains. The ones present are Sonya Alice, UNION, Xavis and DJSS, where the rest of the superstars are unknown for this dream.
I get to hear some of their conversation. Apparently, they are planning to create another arena in this island, transforming it into another futuristic arena, which is in reminiscent of the Coliseum-like design, amphitheater and containing a giant water sphere floating in the center. This level of dedication of creating an artistic building surprises me, especially since I haven’t heard of giant water sphere stadium since 2001. Perhaps they are trying to top it all out with their music, grand performances and artistic porn (obscenely detailed and ornate background, performance, art performance, etc.)?

I’m sure you’ve answered questions about future two’s personality but I always crave more so how is his relationship with draxum and one in the future? and also mikey and raph if you have the energy to
Good Future Two sort of enters a personal competition with Draxum that catches him off guard lol. He achieves a lot in a short period of time. Other than that, he doesn't have a great or bad relationship with him. He becomes more of a mentor and almost an equal to Two which is more than he would ask for so he's satisfied with it. Draxum helps him adjust to his job as his successor and Two ends up surpassing him by leagues, which Draxum is internally proud of, even thought it sort of intimidates him sometimes lolol. In a roundabout way, Two sort of fulfills Draxum's expectations for his intelligence.
Good Future Two has a better relationship with One but it kind of swings back and forth. After Splinter's death and when One's gone helping Usagi in Neo Edo (when they're around 18-20 I think), Two takes his absence as a betrayal. He feels abandoned because the dynamic between him and his family shifts when One isn't there, and One hasn't been out of the picture since they were 15. On top of that, Two doesn't take Splinter's passing well. But after that when One is able to balance his time in Neo Edo and New York and Two has settled into a growing professional life (Probably 30s), their relationship is similar to Leo and Donnie's canon relationship, but in a less fun more blunt font. Two's pretty wrapped up in his work, and One's kind of just wandering around so they don't see each other much, but they get along and Two has let go the grudges against him from the past.
I think even in the future, Two has a hard time engaging with his family, but it gets better with time, and his relationships with Raph and Mikey are overall pretty good.
Raph supports his work and listens to him talk about it. He's very supportive and still helps Two with any anger problems that come around. They work well together on missions as the iconic brains and brawn duo. I think it's still awkward between Raph and Two sometimes but it's mostly because they both overthink how they interact with the other. When they just relax and enjoy each other's company it's not as awkward.
Two gets along really well with Mikey. Mikey shares his art with Two, and sometimes they'll make stuff together, whether it's Two making art with Mikey, or Mikey lending his skills to help Two draft his projects, since he finds drawing to be a pain. Mikey thinks drawing for Two's project helps refine his skills is proud of the work they do together. He also inspires Two's projects sometimes and he'll often go to Mikey when he's got a brain block. Two also spoils Mikey a lot, especially after he gets a steady income lol. At some point, closer to the end of EMD One gets jealous of Two and Mikey's relationship, since it's so easy.

Why buying Auction property is a beneficial proposal for both banks and buyers
Loans disbursed against mortgages are standard in banks. Banks authenticate the properties mortgaged by a borrower to reduce the risk of spending a lot of money. A borrower needs to pay back the loan amount in installments. After the constant failure to pay EMIs, the borrower is a defaulter.
“In financial year 2021, public sector banks in India reported a total of over six trillion Indian rupees in gross non-performing assets (NPA). This was a decrease from the 7.3 trillion Indian rupees in 2019. In contrast, private sector banks reported an increase from 1.8 trillion in financial year 2019 to two trillion Indian rupees in financial year 2021 in gross NPAs.
Non-performing assets are also referred to as "bad assets". They consist for example of non-performing loans, which are unlikely to be repaid in full by the borrower. NPAs pose a challenge to banks because they reduce the profitability as well as the liquidity of banks.”
The asset kept as a mortgage is a non-performing asset (NPA). To retrieve the money lost in loaning, the banks often sell NPAs in auctions. Let us find out how auctioning properties can benefit banks and buyers.
Benefits of auctioning NPAs for banks
An increased value of NPAs is a liability for the banks. By selling the properties through public auctions, capital gets recovered from the market. A bank is eligible to sell NPAs without the intervention of courts, as per the SARFAESI Act 2002.
The benefits of auctioning NPAs for banks are:
Banks can autonomously make decisions and sell the properties entitled as mortgages for loans.
When a borrower fails to meet the terms of loan repayment as per a bank’s agreement, the bank can sell the property kept as a mortgage to retrieve its money.
It seldom happens that auction properties generate returns bigger than the loan amount after several years of the loan repayment failure. Hence, NPAs often become a significant investment for banks that offer better returns in the future.
Banks can also use other recovery methods to retrieve capital from the market by using the NPAs.
Banks can sell these assets directly as they are the legal owner of the mortgaged assets and can make decisions accordingly.
Benefits of buying auction properties from banks
As mentioned earlier, banks want to eliminate the overwhelming volume of NPAs to retrieve capital from the market. Buyers often show high interest in buying such properties for the following benefits.
Low competition due to the minimum bidding value set by the banks and the earnest money deposit (EMD) that a bidder has to deposit makes competition less and offers excellent opportunities for investors.
The banks validate the mortgaged real estate properties before disbursing loans to borrowers. Hence, an interested buyer will not have to authenticate a property as it has already been done.
The entire process is done publicly with no discrepancy in the auction system. Anyone meeting the criteria can become a bidder and participate in the process. The deposited EMD value is returned when one cannot get hold of an NPA. Hence, once a tender is closed, and the auction is complete, EMDs are returned to all bidders.
Identifying and investing in authentic properties with such processes is easy.
Extreme convenience of paperwork when a bank is involved in the process of property name transfer is also a huge benefit.
These are the benefits of auction properties for both banks and buyers. Property auctions have been a very effective way for banks to reduce the stress in their books and for prospective buyers to own a home at discounted rates. All interested bidders must engage in a legal title search of the property. This process helps them verify the validity of critical documents.

Lynn 88
Lynn emailed me and said that she was stuck at a railroad crossing so she was going to be late. I walked across the parking lot and use the bathroom there and her door was still locked so I just stayed outside until she arrived. When she got there she apologize and I was like it’s fine I use the bathroom across the parking lot and she was like oh really can you do that and I was like I mean no one said anything and she was like OK will that’s good to now. She told me to go in and I sat down and she fiddled with the lock and said that it hasn’t been working right and then she went in her office and got my chart out and invited me in. She was like you were out of town last week right? And I was like yeah I went and saw Hamilton and she was like oh that’s right how was it and I was like it was really good but honestly listen I felt like it was kind of overrated for what it was and she was like you know my husband said the exact same thing and I was like well I mean like it was a good show but I would never have seen it if I hadn’t known what it was and thought oh my god this is the best show ever and totally deserves several hundred dollar tickets. She said her has been absolutely hated it because he was like this was literally just three hours of people standing around and wrapping. I Aster if he had listened to the music had of time and she said no and she thinks that would have helped because she was like it’s different if you know all the music and I was like yeah thankfully my friends had said it would help to listen to the music I had of time so I made sure I did and I looked up all the lyrics in the plot so that I would definitely know what was going on but even then there were a few parts that I was like what are they saying. She said yeah she definitely understood and I was like in I didn’t really like the Aaron burr that we had but I watched a bootleg so I saw the real deal online and she was like OK that’s good and I said that I would be going to New York in September and that yesterday was my birthday and my brother’s girlfriend texted me about it and she asked me if I would want to see pretty woman for my birthday. Lynn was like oh my gosh I really want to see that to you! She said she’s going next week with her daughter to bring her to school and she is trying to figure out what she will see but she really wants to see carousel since it is closing but she also wants to see pretty woman and she was like I think I might see a few of them and I was like and come from away? And she was like I don’t know it’s up there as one of the maybes and I was like I know I know you’re not sold on it but I really want you to see it that way you can tell me if you end up liking it because I really loved it and she was like I know, but she said she would see how much time she has and what tickets available and the costs for them. I said that made sense and she was like pretty woman is a classic and I love the movie and you know it’s a stereo typical prostitute love story and I was like don’t ruin it for me actually haven’t seen the movie yet but my husband and I will watch it this weekend. She was like really and I was like yeah I’ve been super movie deprive my whole life and she was like OK and then she asked what else has been going on and I was like well the other good thing was that I semi-impulsively but not really impulsively bought a piano keyboard. I was like I had a really bad sinus infection for like the last two weeks and she was like really my daughter had a really bad virus and she said that there’s a virus going around and it’s mostly her throat and was like yeah I had a fever but it was definitely a sinus infection and she was like yeah my daughter had a fever too and she said they thought it was mono because it was kind of on and off for a little bit but she was feeling pretty terrible and now she’s feeling better and I was like yeah I don’t know maybe it was the virus that caused the sinus infection and she was like yeah you sound terrible and I was like I mean thanks and she was like well I’m being honest and I was like yeah so anyway so I bought a keyboard and I was like listen of this and don’t judge me because I totally have had laryngitis so pretend that’s not a thing and I played or the beginning of she used to be mine that I recorded myself playing and singing and she was like oh that’s so good and she was like you’ve seen waitress right? And I was like yeah and I don’t actually know how to play the piano but I want to learn and that seems like an easier one to get the hang of Sam there was that and I was like otherwise there really hasn’t been anything going on just because I’ve been mainly sick and not doing anything. I was like but also my dad irritated me yesterday because on my birthday he asked if I was going to have cheat meals since I said I was going to take it manage of all the birthday freebies at restaurants and it just made me mad because it’s like he knows my history and he knows that I’m definitely not on a diet or anything so it was super unnecessary and also that I was thinking after our session a lot about my childhood phobia and just how I realized that I know Lynn has always said that I have some OCD traits but thinking back on childhood I was like you know I really realized that I had contamination OCD that kind of went comorbid with the phobia as a result of the phobia assume and I explained I had all of these checking behaviors and rituals like always checking where the garbage was in the exits were so that way I wouldn’t know where to go if I was going to throw up and the constantly checking in and making sure other people aren’t sick or things like that and I said I just hadn’t really thought about it and I told her about how my husband got violently ill and threw up on his birthday and I had a panic attack and cried and kicked him out of the bathroom and it really bothers me because I’m obviously not over it and I would like to be over it for my future children. She brought up the OCD aspect and was like if it’s more of the OCD stuff we can treat that and she asked if I did the specific OCD protocol with people with EMD are and I said actually hadn’t and she said it’s about reducing the urges to do compulsions and I said oh and I explained that while I definitely had a lot of those rituals and compulsions throughout childhood and adolescence and even as if I got in college, I feel like it’s a lot better and I don’t have those rituals anymore but I think actually what stop that was that because of my own purging I’m no longer scared of myself I’m annoying so it doesn’t feel like OCD is a problem anymore and she was like oh OK. She asked what I thought the issue was that I was feeling stuck I feel like we ended up having a conversation about the whole phobia situation that we’ve had many times before where she was basically like there’s no way to test whether or not you are over this and what is it that you are feeling stuck on and I was like honestly I don’t really know and then I got anxious and I was like this is literally what is Sony got nasty with me about was the fact that she kept pressing me and I was like I really don’t know and I wish that I did and I was like maybe that feeling trapped feeling because I was in the bathroom and cornered but I could’ve easily step aside so I don’t think it’s that but maybe it was the anticipation aspect because I knew that it might happen again versus a year ago for my birthday somebody threw up at the baseball game and I didn’t have any time to anticipate it it just happened and she was like yeah I don’t know. She was like I mean it’s possible that panic attacks just happened and I was like no they don’t and she was like yes they do and I was like if it was an isolated incident sure like at the acupuncturist I was thinking about my car accident I can get on board with that, but this was super specific tied to a specific phobia and Lynn was like panic attacks just happen man and I was like random ones sure and she was like symptoms they just happen and she said how last year her and her daughter were in New York City and they got locked out of her apartment and she had this huge panic attack and she said that her daughter had to calm her down then she was like I don’t know what happened but obviously there was some psychological shit going on which I couldn’t help but laugh but I was like OK but that totally makes sense that it was just like a random panic attack I’m on wasn’t exactly random and it’s hard to test because it’s not like I’m around people throwing up all the time and she was like yeah and it’s not like I can really just send you into a children’s hospital and I was like yeah I mean being around bunch of chemo patients I guess that’s why it’s so hard to treat. And then she did the home this may be as good as it gets and then I got sad and I was like OK but I just don’t wanted to be this way and she was like I mean it may be one of those things where your husband deals with the kids when they’re sick all that but I don’t want them to feel like I just didn’t want to be around them and she was like well it could be different when you have kids and I was like but it probably won’t like realistically I see the people in the Facebook groups and they have kids and their phobia doesn’t just go away and she was like well you still don’t know until you have them and I was like I don’t want to be that mom who has to be like sorry kids mommy is just too scared to sit with you and she was like vomit is uncomfortable for everybody I don’t have happy memories with my kids comforting them in the bathroom and I was like OK but you still comfort of them and she was like but it wasn’t a good time and I was like but I don’t want them to feel terribly alone and abandoned like I did and what if my husband isn’t there and she was like well you won’t know until you have them and could be different. and she asked what my goals would be around it and I was like I just want to be normal and she was like well that’s not a goal and I was like you know what I mean though and she’s like well what do you want and I was like to be able to just deal with it like a normal person like I’m not even that grossed out by Vomit I could totally handle it but it’s like I just want to be able to be around people vomiting without going into this huge panic attack and crying or having to run away and like when I think of having kids I don’t wanna do to them what my mom did to me and kick them out of the bathroom or pull over the car and me get out because I’m scared and so she started asking about my anxieties about having kids and she asked if I’m anxious to have kids and I was like I mean isn’t everyone and she was like well when are you planning on having them and I was like I don’t know it kind of just depends more on my husband because I would like to have them sooner than later because I don’t want to be like 39 and not able to play outside with my kids because I’m already out of shape and she was like wait how old are you and I was like 28 years ago and I was like so I mean is there anxiety sure but I don’t know and she was like well when does your husband want them and I was like I don’t know he kind of changes his story a little bit about when and so I don’t really know and she was like well when do you want them and I was like sooner than later and she was like are you ready to have them now and I was like I mean is anyone ever actually ready and I tried to explain and I was like I mean I want them and I don’t really see a real good reason to keep waiting and then I get anxious that if I wait too long I’m gonna have the bad eggs left and Lynn was like I don’t think that’s how that works and I was like well you never know what if I’m getting rid of all the good eggs now and she was like yeah that’s definitely not how that works because if you have a viable pregnancy it means that I was healthy enough to take and I was like I mean yeah I know that it’s kind of a rational but I still worry because what if I end up passing along the eggs that have the bad genetics and I know it’s irrational and she brought up if I have an anxiety about whether or not I will be able to get pregnant and I was like not really because my periods are pretty regular and I’m not on birth control and haven’t been so I don’t see any reason why I should have a hard time with it in theory but I know something that does make me anxious when thinking about pregnancy is just the Wiecking aspect and not being sure how exactly I will handle so much weight gain and you know if it was just all in my stomach that would be easy but if it’s all over I think that’s going to be a struggle. She was like oh yeah well I think when you are pregnant I’m going to need to refer you to an eating disorder therapist because that’s just completely outside of my realm and all of the stress chemicals and not eating at all that would affect the baby in the pregnancy and so she would want me to see somebody who really knows how to address that and I just didn’t even say anything so I was like I’m not pregnant it’s not worth arguing with her about why she shouldn’t do that because ultimately as long as I’m actually following through the meal plan which like I said not worth explaining but I’ve already planned that I would see a dietitian to make sure that I’m staying nutritionally OK but I therapist is just gonna be like remind yourself of the fact that you are growing a baby and I really don’t think that I would do anything like restricting because I would be too anxious to do anything to hurt my baby. Only thing that I could see happening is that I can definitely see myself struggling with becoming really rigid around following the meal plan with the dietitian sense but other than that, now I think it will be fine but whatever so just an address that in Lynn was like so maybe this anxiety about the vomiting really isn’t anxiety but the vomiting as much as it is anxiety about being a mom and she was like what do you think of that and I was like I mean maybe because I’m definitely anxious that I’m going to screw up my kid like my mom did to me and she was like so maybe that’s it and she went back-and-forth on the whole we could try continuing to tackle the whole phobia thing or keep working on the other issues that may be connected Then maybe we just have the wrong negative belief and I was like I mean maybe and she pulled it up and said that the positive believe was I’m OK as I am and that we had gotten the negative leave down to a one but we were not able to do that positively can she likes when you think of that now though I’m OK as I am doesn’t seem like you would be fitting does it and I was like now I mean I guess what would be more fitting would be wanting to feel like I can handle it or I can get through it or stay present or something like that. She said that made more sense and again when with the whole like what do you want to work on and I was like I don’t know and she was like well what do you think is the biggest issue and she started talking and I honestly checked out and I asked her what she said twice and I apologize and she was like basically just what are you want to work on and what bothers you and was like I mean I guess the whole feeling that I don’t matter is really probably be cool or I would think like unless I’m sick or has something wrong with me because Lynn had also brought up do I think the phobia thing was just a response because we’ve been working on me getting better and I’m afraid that if I get better then I don’t need her anymore and I was like honestly no because there was literally no thoughts about it and it was like an immediate reflexive response to go into an automatic panic attack and she had said OK but so I was like I really just don’t even know why I just feel like I don’t matter so she was like oh we have some time so grab the toppers. I noticed that I was like I just feel like there are so many things wrong with me and they’re always have been and part of me feels like I don’t know just worried that I don’t matter because there are 1 million things wrong with me and I have so many weird anxieties and corks end but then I noticed that part of me feels really mad because I look back and I’m like reminded of how recently my mom I said something about I don’t know how mom could have a kid in the not want them and she was like yeah I don’t now but it made me mad in the moment because I was like you basically acted like you didn’t really want me but of course she would never admit that and I think about how she was like I didn’t know I was supposed to spend time with you and it’s like how the fuck did you not know that? And I noticed that it made me mad because it was like I think back now to being a little kid with all these problems and when I think of all of my intensive children that I’ve worked with yeah they are always the difficult kids but if parents actually invest and spend time with their kids or get them the help that they need it’s like they become totally different children and they get better and they become so much easier to be around and part of it makes me mad because it’s like if my mom would have gotten me help or spend time with me maybe I wouldn’t have so many problems now and also maybe I would’ve been an easier kid to where she would’ve actually wanted to be around me. I noticed that it’s sucked that I wasn’t just an easy kid off the bat that made my mom want to be around me and I noticed that honestly makes me feel mad and Lynn was in like notice that anger and I was like OK and I noticed that I feel like I’m not supposed to feel mad and anger is an emotion that I’m not comfortable with And you know I used to always fight with my dad but with my mom there was no fighting because it was instantly if I got mad she sent me to my room or told me that he needed to get over it and stop being dramatic or ridiculous or bad and I never saw her expressed anger over literally anything like I can’t remember a single time when she was mad and I just has always felt like it wasn’t safe to express anger with her and I think that’s why even now I feel so uncomfortable for me to feel mad at her and she was like noticed that and I noticed that I was such an angry teenager but at some point I turned the anger on myself and like when I think back I can remember I always had anxiety and I always wished I could be different but I don’t remember feeling like everything was literally my fault until 12 grade because I can remember in 11th grade when my friend Christi had been taking out her anger with her ex-boyfriend on me and I remember being mad at her for it but I don’t remember feeling like it was all my fault and if I can just be better then it wouldn’t be happening and so I guess at some point I must have switched from being mad at other people to just blaming myself and being mad at myself and feeling like everything was my own fault. She told me to notice that and I noticed that I wasn’t really sure why I changed it on myself but I remembered just getting so angry and cutting myself and Lynn brought up the whole control issue and she was like could it be perhaps that it was your way to control it and I was like I mean yeah and she asked if I had any idea why and I said I thought I guess just that everything just sort of build up all at once and it felt like there’s only so many times that it could be everybody else before I should probably admit that I’m the problem and at some point the pattern that I was the common denominator so I would guess that’s where came from. She suggested the that was your way to control everything again and I said yeah probably. I jokingly said control my favorite issue and she smiled and said she knew and said we would keep working on all of this. She was looking at scheduling and was like we already have an appointment for next week right and I was like no you said you’d be gone and she was like well I will be going on Thursday and I was like what the heck but she was like I’ll be here on Monday and Tuesday if you want to come in then and I was like I already have clients scheduled so I can’t and she’s like that’s OK we already have the following weeks schedule and I was like yeah so can we do that next week scheduling that way I will know my schedule for that week and she laughed and I was like I’m sorry but since I won’t be here next week to schedule the two weeks out I need to do it now for my schedule and she was like that’s fine I understand. I was like OK and so we scheduled and I went to pay but then I was like wait did you figure out my deductible and she was like no I’m going to figure that out this weekend so if your next session but I’m just not gonna collect any payment and I was like OK that works. She told me safe travels and I headed out.

What is a domain?
A domain consists of two parts; the name followed by the extension.
For example, with apple.com – apple is the name and .com is the extension.
Domain: electrobot.co
URL: https://electrobot.co/
You can’t have a website without a domain name. Like a street address that tells people where you live, a domain helps customers drive directly to your website.
How To Choose a Domain Name for Blog?
Choosing the right domain name for your website is crucial for your success. If you choose the wrong domain name, then it can be a hassle to switch later on without hurting your brand and search rankings.
Full disclosure: I earn a commission if you end up purchasing any of the domain (and web hosting) services through referral links in this guide. This helps me to keep Electrobot up and running and up-to-date. Thanks for your support.
Why is your domain name so important?
It’s your “first impression”. Your URL is the first thing your visitors will see. A good domain name can make a positive and lasting impression, while a bad domain name can send visitors running.
It affects SEO. While exact match domains (EMDs) are no longer a necessity, keywords in your domain name can still help your SEO ranking.
It defines your brand. We’ll talk about this in a minute – your domain name is a branding opportunity! The right domain name can increase brand recognition.
It’s extremely important that you choose the best domain name from the start for yourself.
When first starting out, it can be hard to come up with catchy business name ideas with a perfect domain for a blog. In this article, we’ll share all the tools and tips you need to get domain name ideas, choose the best domain name, and register your new domain (for free). So, how to choose a domain name for your blog? Let’s get started…
How to Choose a Domain Name For Your WordPress Website (#19 Top Tips & Strategies)
#1. Always Go for the .com
Let me say this again: Wherever possible, always go for a .com domain.
Technically speaking, the .com is just one of many domain name extensions (TLDs) that are available (more on TLDs and other components of a domain name here). Some of the other popular options include, .net, .org, .co, .edu, .biz, or even things such as .shop, or .blog. And while all those fancy TLDs are tempting, getting the classic .com is nearly always the right thing to do.
Electrobot uses .co extension because .com was already taken. The shorter the better. Electrobot.co is a great example though.
Two reasons:
1. People are more familiar with .com domains than with anything else; they will default to typing ‘.com’ into the browser address bar, and are unlikely to remember your extension if it’s too weird. Everyone will always assume a website is a .com.
2. The .com TLD is used by ~47% of all websites, data says. Can they all be wrong? What all of this means is that if your perfect .com is taken, then perhaps you should either forget about that name entirely or try contacting the current owner to see if they’re willing to sell the domain to you. Warning! This could be expensive.
#2. Keep it Unique and Brandable
Your blog domain name must be unique, so you can stand out in your readers’ minds. It’s smart to research other blogs in your niche and find out what domain names they’re using.
#3. Keep Your Domain Name Short
While keywords are important, don’t go overboard with domain length. It’s better to have a domain name that’s short and memorable. We recommend keeping your domain name under 15 characters. Longer domains are harder for your users to remember. Not to mention, users will also be more prone to entering typos with longer domain names which can lead to loss traffic. That’s why it’s a good idea to keep your domain length short.
You don’t want to accidentally use a trademark name or get accused of copying another blogger. You can also choose to pick a domain name that’s more brandable. Brandable domain names are unique, catchy, and memorable. For example, “Amazon.com” is a much more brandable name than “BuyBooksOnline.com.”
#4. Use Keywords in Your Domain Name Search
Keywords play an important role in a domain. By using keywords in your domain name, you tell the search engines what your website is about. Together with quality content and good user experience, keywords in your domain can help you rank higher in Google. It is very hard to find a good domain with your target keywords, that’s not already taken.
You will need to be creative and combine your keywords with other words to make your domain stand out.
#5. Act Quickly Before Someone Else Takes it
Each day thousands of new domain names are registered from all parts of the world. If you have found a domain name that you like, then don’t wait too long.
Domain names are like real estate. Thousands of people are actively looking for good brandable domain names that they can register for better rates in the future.
If you don’t act fast, then someone may go ahead and register your domain idea. Since domain names are relatively cheap, we always recommend our readers to act fast. If you change your mind later, then you can simply let it expire.
#6. Avoid Double Letters
It’s a good idea to avoid domains with doubled letters because it increases your chances of losing traffic to typos. For example, a domain like Presssetup.com will be more prone to typos and result in lost traffic. Avoiding doubled letters will also make your domain easy to type and more brandable.
#7. Avoid Hyphens in Domain Name
Never create a domain name with hyphens. Hyphens can be a sign of spam domains which you do not want to be associated with.
Hyphenated domains are also prone to typos. If you choose a domain name with hyphens because the domain you want is already taken, then your users will likely end up at your competitor’s site if they forget to type in the hyphen.
#8. Easy to Type
Think of some of the most popular websites in the world. What comes to mind?
Google, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Yahoo, CNN…
One big thing they have in common is that they’re all easy to spell. Your visitors should be able to type your domain name without a problem. If you have to explain the spelling more than once for it to be understood, it’s too complicated!
The last thing you want is for the potential visitors to mistype your domain and end up on a different website! Here’s an easy way to test this…
Ask people your potential domain name to spell it. If more than a few people struggle to spell it, you need to simplify it.
#9. Think Long-Term
Are you thinking long-term?
You should be because it will be one of the biggest elements that define your business and brand for years. If you decide to change the domain in the future, it will cost you money, branding, and SEO rankings. In short – it’s a huge pain! When you choosing your domain, think long-term.
For example, if your company helps businesses optimize their websites for SEO, you could choose a domain name like, “OptimizedSEO.com” If you think there’s a chance you might expand to more general digital marketing services in the future, like email marketing, PPC, etc. then it might be wise to reconsider your domain name. You don’t want to pin yourself down to a certain niche if you think you might expand out of that niche. Therefore, keep your long-term vision in mind when picking your domain name.
#10. Check Availability on Social Media Sites and Trademarks
Before you move forward with a specific domain name, check to see if the name is available on social media sites, as well as if there are any trademarks already registered to the name. To build your brand, it’s ideal to have the same name across your domain and social networks. This builds familiarity and makes it easy for your visitors, fans, and customers to find you around the web.
Avoid legal issues, you should stay away from names that already have trademarks. How can you quickly check social networks and trademarks for your potential domain name? It’s quite easy with a tool like Knowem. Search your potential domain name – it’ll show you if it’s available throughout over 25 popular social networks and if there are any trademarks already registered to the name.
If it’s taken, consider tweaking it so that you can create original social media profiles.
#11. Use the Right Domain Name Extension
When you choose your domain name extension, you can be sure of one thing: “.com” is still the best.
According to research from DomainNameStat, 43% of all domains have the “.com” extension.
Why? Well, “.com” is the most familiar and easiest to remember. While there are many successful websites with a “.net” and “.org”, your website will probably do better if it has a “.com” extension. It’s the safest bet.
My advice: Go with .com. If that’s taken, try .net or .org. If these are taken too, you’d be better off brainstorming a new domain name. And oh! – Avoid those weird extensions like “.club”, “.space”, “.pizza” and so on.
#12. Use a Domain Name Generator to Gather Ideas
At this point, you should have at least a general idea of some possible words to put in your domain. Some of those words may already be taken, trademarked, or just don’t have the “sound” you’re looking for. That’s where domain name generators come into play. These generators can turn your ideas into fresh, available domains.
Here are some of our favorite domain name generators to try out:
#1 Wordoid. This tool allows you to plug in a word, it will come up with ideas that either contain that word, begin with that word or end with that word. #2 Lean Domain Search. This tool matches your keyword with other keywords and generates a list of available domains. #3 DomainHole. This tool allows you to search keywords, find expired domains, generate new names, and more.
Bonus tip:
If you’re starting a blog, podcast or your personal website, it may be best to use your own name!
This helps you become more recognizable. What’s more – simply owning the domain of your name can be a good strategy.
If your blog/website/speaking career makes it big, you may become a household name – and that domain, “YourName.com” may become a hot commodity. You’ll be glad you have it! Now, if your name is a bit long, difficult to spell/pronounce, or the domain is already taken, consider using a nickname or even a combination of your first name and middle name.
#13. Select the best domain name based on simple criteria
At this point, you’re ready to narrow down your shortlist and finish out the process of how to choose a domain name.
Part of this process is subjective – after all, it’s important to choose a domain name you like. However, there are also some simple criteria you can use to make the decision easier. For best results, you’ll want to pick a domain name that is:
Concise and clear. Long and confusing names are harder to remember and easier to mistype.
Creative and memorable. The more unique you can make your domain name (while keeping it clear and concise), the more memorable it will be.
Easy to read and pronounce. Avoid numbers and special characters because they’re confusing when spoken aloud. It’s also worth asking your friends to pronounce it as well, so you avoid accidentally ending up on this list.
Finally, it’s also important to carefully consider your domain name’s Top-Level Domain (TLD). In simple terms, this is the part at the end – .com, .org, .net, and so on. For many sites, .com is the best choice, since it’s what most visitors will expect and is easiest to remember. However, it’s getting harder and harder to find quality .com domain names, and users are becoming more accustomed to other extensions. So if you absolutely love a non-.com name, go ahead and buy it.
The only thing to be careful with is TLDs that apply to a specific region (like .co.uk or .ca). Google uses these to help goetarget websites, so only pick those extensions if you really do want Google to geotarget your site.
#14. Register your new domain name
After settling on the right combination of keyword-based name and TLD, all you need to do is buy the domain name. The way you do this will often depend on the hosting provider you decide to use.
You can usually purchase a domain name during the process of signing up for a hosting plan. In addition, you can buy a domain separately through a dedicated registrar or hosting company. If you’ve chosen a name using Domain Wheel, you can even use the View Details button to go straight to a checkout page:
Of course, you don’t have to get your hosting and domain name from the same place. If you pick up a domain name elsewhere, you can still connect it to your new or existing site after the fact. How this works will depend on the web host you’ve chosen. You should check out your provider’s documentation or ask their support team for assistance when making the transfer.
#15. Consider using your name
I highly recommend registering your name as a domain even if you have no plans to do anything with it. Why?
Because you never know if you just might become a household name in the future. And then you’ll be glad you have it.
If you plan on using your blog to sell a service you provide or if you hope to speak or become a published writer, your name might be perfect.
If you have a really difficult name to say or spell, consider using your first and middle, or a nickname, or make up a new name altogether (yes, people really do that).
#16. Don’t overthink it
I hear from a lot of people who get stuck at this point because they’re afraid of making the wrong choice. The most common problem is that they can’t find an available .com. If this is you, just make your best guess and move on. A not-quite-perfect domain name is better than no domain name at all. Just do your best and own it!
#17. Choose a Brandable Name
We all know that branding is crucial to long-term success, but what exactly makes a domain name brandable? There are many factors that come into play here, but the most important ones are as follows:
A brandable name has no specific meaning (eg ‘Google’ is not a word, ‘YouTube isn’t one either).
It’s unique — your competition doesn’t use anything similar.
It’s easy to memorize — not too wordy, no complex vowel combinations.
It’s easy to pronounce and dictate over the phone.
It sounds trustworthy — some names can be a little shady by definition, for instance, WinTheLotteryToday.com may be too bold, but Lotterio.com sounds way better.
To make the brainstorming process easier, you can experiment with some combinations of actual words and random suffixes, like I did with the Lotterio.com example above.
The main goal here is to create a potential for the domain name to build brand value over time. In other words, as much as possible, try making sure the name has a good ring to it. It should be fun to say out loud, and not difficult to memorize immediately. Think about the likes of Uber: It’s short and snappy, and there’s no confusion as to how to spell it — even when mentioned in passing in a conversation.
#18. Be Careful When Buying Existing Domain Names
As I mentioned a couple of points above, buying an existing domain name is a bit different from buying a new one. First of all, since it’s not new, this means it already has a history. And you can never be entirely sure what that history is.
On the bright side, the domain’s history may give you a boost in Google since you’re not starting from scratch — Google already knows the domain.
But, on the flip side, if the domain has featured any kind of ‘non-kosher’ stuff (porn, gambling, spam content, email spam distribution), then it may be banned from Google entirely.
Buying your domain from a marketplace such as Flippa gives you some safety, since every domain is validated at least in the most basic way. However, to make things a bit safer, you should also perform checks of your own.
First, do a manual check by going to Google and searching for: site:YOURDOMAIN.com
This will tell you whether Google has any pages indexed from that domain. Finding anything is a good sign. It means the domain isn’t banned. Not finding anything doesn’t have to be a deal-breaker, though.
If the domain is blank — no website — then there’s nothing for Google to find in the first place.
However, if there is a website but Google can’t see it (via the site:YOURDOMAIN.com phrase), this is a red flag. You can also do checks via tools such as bannedcheck.com and ismywebsitepenalized.com. But also keep in mind that these things are not foolproof. Consider them helpers.
#19. Check the Domain History via who.is
Right after Wayback Machine, who.is is your other go-to tool for getting to know the history of a given domain name. This one is very useful for at least two reasons:
First, you can see the current domain info — stuff like who the owner is (provided they don’t have ID protection — more on that later) — who the registrar is, and so on. There’s no point in me listing everything here — just go to who.is, input your favorite website and see what’s up.
Second, who.is gives you access to a ‘whois history report’. This is a paid service — $10 — but the price tag is rather small in relation to what you get in return, which is all the whois data associated with a given domain name from the very beginning. This means that you can see what the domain’s history is, when it was registered, and how many times it potentially changed hands.
In the end, if you’re considering getting an existing domain, which can be quite pricey, spending an additional $10 doesn’t seem that brutal. Plus, it can save you headaches later on.
Purchasing an available domain name
Once you’ve determined whether your domain is available, you will want to purchase it from a domain registrar or web hosting company. Some web hosts will register a domain name for you for free (usually for one year) when you buy a web hosting services from them, while others will do it for you, but you’ll have to cover the registrar fees (an annual fee of $10 – $15 for the “.com” domain).
It’s a personal preference whether to register the name directly, with a domain name registrar, or with the web host. In any case, you want to make sure you are assigned as the owner, the administrative, and technical contacts for the domain name you purchased. If you are buying multiple domains, it might be easier to use one good registrar. But, if you are buying a domain name and planning to make a website or use it for custom email purposes, it will be easier to go with the hosting company (hosting account) and keep everything under one roof.
One thing’s for sure. You have to find a reliable company to register your domain with. There are hundreds of companies available and we will recommend the best ones from our experience, both registrars, and hosts. If you decide to pick a company on your own, here are some things to consider when choosing one.
ICANN-Accreditation
Always buy your domain from a reputable domain registrar company and one that is registered with ICANN (the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers).
Your domain registrar should be accredited by ICANN, a non-profit organization existing to define how the domain name system functions and expands. They coordinate unique identifiers across the world to ensure the web is truly worldwide.
When choosing your domain registrar, you will want to check out the price and top-level domain availability (everyone does .com, but not everyone does specific country top-level domains and the new topic-specific top-level domains). A couple of safe options are Namecheap and GoDaddy.
Your web hosting company may offer a domain for a blog as well as hosting. There are pros and cons to whether you should buy through them or buy them independently.
When I started blogging, I purchased my domains through GoDaddy. It is still there and I moved my hosting to Hostinger.
I think it makes sense, in the long run, to let a hosting company do the hosting and the domain registrar deal with domains.
Tip: Keeping your domain name and hosting account separate will involve extra operations, such as pointing DNS records from your domain registrar to the hosting company before launching and making your new website. This is not a complicated task and most registrar companies have step-by-step description of that process.
Research the seller and domain
Does the seller have a documented history of previous sales? Does he have a blog or social media profiles that could give you insight to his standing, views, and opinions? What is his favorite breakfast cereal? Every tidbit of information you can gather on the seller could help you in negotiations.
Before you purchase an already used domain, you will want to see what has been published on that domain in the past to ensure it has a good reputation. You don’t want to purchase a domain that has hosted adult content or has a bad backlink history that you may have to clean up. Use Archive.org to see what content has been on a website in the past and use Cognitive SEO Site Explorer to check backlinks. If something looks suspicious don’t buy it.
Your new domain is going to be your branded business name. You need to ensure that future social media profiles are available. Use Knowem.com to quickly check profile availability for your new brand and instantly reserve handles from services like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and others. It’s probably not a good idea to buy a brandable domain if its corresponding social profiles that are already taken.
#. Closing the deal
Be patient when buying a premium domain, the process is completely different from simple domain registration. Rarely will you immediately reach a mutually agreed upon price. Sometimes waiting on a deal for a few weeks and checking with the owner later will result in a success at a better price.
If the price is too high, try to work with the owner to agree on a “lease-to-own” or “partial payments” deal for the domain name. This way you won’t need to pay a big chunk of money up front.
If the owner has agreed to sell the domain, try to get the agreement in writing if possible. Or better, draft and sign a purchase agreement with the buyer. This will legally dictate the terms of the purchase and protect both parties. Next step, you’ll have to make the payment. Don’t just wire money to the buyer once you have reached an agreement. You need a secure transaction to protect you from any fraud activities. Use a secure service such as Escrow.com to close the deal.
Some General things to be aware of:
Legal conflicts: Spend a bit of time searching around to make sure you are not choosing a domain name that is similar to an already established rival. You don’t want to spend time building your blog only to find out that someone else has a similar website and wants to sue you.
Avoid Copyright Issues: Make sure the name you are going to use is not copyrighted.
Be aware of the scammers: There are a lot of scammers around, so try to make sure you buy your domain name from a registrar who is in the ICANN’s (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) accredited registrar’s list.
As I have mentioned earlier that these rules are not set in stone. Don’t be afraid to add your own flavor. Use common knowledge and be sensible. Try your best and get creative. What is your best tip in choosing a good domain name? Feel free to leave your suggestions or comments below.
What Are Domain Name Generators?
Also known as a blog name generator, these are websites that help you come up with a name based on a certain criteria. For example, they might ask you to enter a few words relevant to your niche, such as “Car” and “Engine” for an automotive website.
Finally, they mix/merge these words (along with other close variations) and show you a list of potential results.
Some services are quite advanced, allowing you to choose a domain name length and even showing whether it’s already registered.

Best Places to Buy a Domain Name
There are hundreds of domain registrars on the web. It’s important to choose carefully because it can be difficult to move your domain later on.
Just like with web hosting, pricing for domain registrations can vary anywhere from $9 to $24. You can even get it for free*.
There are plenty of places to find domain names online so the choice is really up to you as far as who to choose as your registrar. Below are a few choices for registering a URL.
GoDaddy
When looking for a place to buy domains, GoDaddy is the big kid on the block. They are one of the most popular options that most people choose when buying domains and they often run deals to help you save a great deal of money when you first registrar a domain with them.
They also have an area when domains are auctioned off, so you can buy a domain name from someone else who has the URL you’re looking for and are willing to see.
Though GoDaddy is the most popular option, they do tend to charge quite a bit more when it comes to renewing your domains with them and WHOis privacy (something you’ll want) is hardly ever free. Average cost for renewing a domain for two years will run you around $50, which isn’t terrible but still worth noting.
NameCheap
This is another popular domain registrar and has a couple advantages when compared to GoDaddy.
As far as price goes, NameCheap is almost always cheaper to renew considering their .com extensions run around $10 with no discounts applied. Domains purchased through NameCheap also come with Free WHOis Protection which saves you close to $10 as well. Personally, I love to buy my personal URLs from them.
NameSilo
The pricing provided by NameSilo is absolutely outstanding, there is no other service I’ve come across provides domains at those rates. They also do not restrict the pricing to the first domain registration and there are additional discounts when you order in bulk, above 49 domains which are cool.
The support is absolutely great, another thing about them is the user interface, you can manage your domain very easily when registered with them, there are shortcuts to every setting like Nameservers and DNS.
Another interesting feature is the domain defender service that helps you save your domain from theft and is very essential where domain theft and piracy is everywhere.
Your Host Provider
Many host providers offer the choice to purchase a URL or to get one for free when you sign up. Though many prefer to have their hosting and domains separated, there are some who like the convince of keeping them together.
Bluehost offers a free URL when you sign up with them and other providers like SiteGroundhave an area in the members area where you can search and purchase multiple domains and save them on your account. Hostinger also provides a Domain for free with their yearly plan.
Let’s take a look at how you can easily buy a domain for a blog
Free Domain Registration with Web Hosting
Majority of web hosting companies also offer best domain name registration as a service. Some of those companies offer free domain registration with new hosting accounts.
If you’re starting a new website, then it’s a smart idea to take advantage of this offer and get your domain name for free.
Below are the three WordPress hosting companies that are offering our users over 60-90% off web hosting, free SSL certificate, and a free domain name:
Bluehost is one of the oldest and largest brand name when it comes to web hosting. They’re an official “WordPress” recommended hosting provider.
iPage powers over 1 million websites and is the most budget-friendly web hosting provider on the web. $1.99 / month for web hosting, and you get a free domain name.
Hostinger has also a free SSL and a .com domain registration on their premium plans which is as same plan like Bluehost approx. $2.50/ month for period of 1 year.
InMotion Hosting provide a free domain and domain registration with the purchase of a hosting plan and will take care of everything for you.
It’s important to keep in mind that most hosts offer free domain registrations for 1 year only. After the first year, your domain for a blog or website registration will renew at usually around $14 per year.
A lot of users take advantage of the free best domain name for the first year because you would have to pay for the domain name regardless, why not get it for free.
Most Popular Domain Registrars
If you just want to register a domain name without purchasing hosting, then you can do that by purchasing it from a domain name registrar.
Domain.com is one of the best domain registrars on the market. They offer all top-level domain names, with a smart search feature, premium domains, and all the necessary tools to manage your domain names.
GoDaddy is the largest domain registrar in the world. They manage over 63 million domain names for over 14 million customers.
Let's Summarize!
When you’re about to create a website, there are two things you need: (1) someplace to host your site, and (2) a name for your site.
These two things act like your virtual property and address where people will come in order to find you online. Both are rather easy to jump into and pick out as far as getting them, but CHOOSING them is another story.
When it comes to your domain name, the world is your oyster. There are hundreds of thousands of names you can pick from and an ever growing selection of extensions to choose from in order to become your new digital home address. However, just because it’s easy to buy one of these domain names doesn’t mean that you don’t have a big decision to make.
In fact, much like buying a home with the best address in town, your domain name is probably one of the biggest choices you have to make because picking the wrong domain name can be like buying the perfect house in the wrong zip code — bad investment choice.
But don’t get overly worried about this either. Choosing a domain name, though important, isn’t hard to do, but it does take some time and thought on your end.
Before you just jump in and buy the first domain name that suits your fancy, here are some things to consider to make sure you’re picking from the cream of the crop.
When you’re searching for information about ranking your site with SEO, you’ll often find two schools of thought on domain names. Either people stick to the idea of that keyword based URLs are the way to go or they say that keywords in your domain doesn’t matter at all.
So which is true?
Well, if this was 2010 and Google Penguin wasn’t around, then yes, you should stick to your guns about choosing keyword based domain names because they would have been a good thing. But with Google changing up SEO and refining her algorithm updates (yes, I often refer to Google as a woman), you may have a losing fight on your hands.
As many of you already know, Google no longer places any value of SEO tactics that try and help a site sneak up the page when they don’t deserve it. Now that’s not to say that Keyword Based Domains will get you slapped with a penalty by Google, but those type of URLs don’t seem present the same SEO value now as they did back in the day.
Does that mean that you should avoid keywords in your domain altogether?
Well, no, not exactly. Keywords in your domain name can still be a good thing because they can give your potential viewers an idea of what your site is about.
For example, if your site is going to be on the topic of gluten-free living, the a URL of GlutenFreeLiving.com can be a good domain name for many reasons including the fact that the name tells viewers what your site is about, however, choosing that name doesn’t mean you’re going to see an SEO benefit.
Final Thoughts
I know, I know, choosing to buy a blog domain name is a pretty exciting thing to do. I absolutely love it.
However, it’s no longer 2000 and the best possible domain names are (probably) already taken. For example, there are currently more than 182,000,000 active domain names registered.
Your domain for a blog or website which you will get connected to for sure after a year or two. And you can’t just let it go and that’s why it is one of the most important step for your online career.
A catchy and unique domain for a blog is a huge step if you trying to make your website a brand. ThisIsWhyImBroke is one such example. You know when you hear that name immediately unique and unusual products comes to our mind and that’s the power of a catchy domain name.
As you can see, a lot of thought can go into picking the best domain name for your blog. But with these tips and tools (and by not overthinking the matter) you can have your blog fully set up with a beautiful name in no time. So you must be cleared by now how to choose a domain name for your blog?
So go forth and find the best domain name you can!
