Okay but is anyone else a bit weirded out by how emaciated Caleb looks?

My man’s all skin and bones, especially when compared to the paintings we see in Philip’s mindscape.

Did Belos hold Caleb prisoner before killing him? It’s not too far fetched. Philip, thinking Evelyn some sort of evil temptress, kidnapped his own brother and held him hostage for his “own good”. Caleb obviously wouldn’t have liked this, so he may have attempted to escape, which leads to the murder that started it all. Not only would it make sense, but it could also possibly serve as a parallel to King and the Collector.
