my favorite astarlach again.

so they are clearing goblins camp and ofc astarion has a lot of fun. he enjoys his freedom. his euphoria is shown on his face, he is in blood, his hair is a mess and there is creepy smile with these little fangs which are slightly seen. oh it’s delicious for him. for somebody he would look scary but for karlach? she is hypnotized by the wicked little freak. she is hypnotized by how he enjoys this bloodshed. Even though they are killing goblins for good, for helping tieflings, she can't help but notice that Astarion is enjoying the cruelty of this carnage. Karlach sees clearly an echo of the darkness that she has always felt in him somehow but at this moment it can be shown without him caring how it will affect the opinion of the group.

It surprises her how some kind of realization of her developing feelings for him come exactly at this moment. and after Astarion kills the last goblin and takes a look in her direction he sees her in blue flames. Her eyes are beautifully burning, her engine in the chest is pulsating with blue light. She is just standing and looking at him intently. And it’s the first time he sees her blue flame and finds out she can do it.

“Gods, what is this? You can’t stop surprising me, aren’t you?”

after some time he will understand why she lights up with a blue flame or she will tell him herself. ofc he guessed she finds him beautiful (who didn’t?) and he gives her sparks as she likes to say to him but now its even more pleasant for Astarion to see the confirmation of these feelings in a such novel way. As for him it will take some time to confess to her and admit to himself that he also took a few glimpses of her during the battle and was mesmerized by her fearsome gaze and eyes burning with fire when she broke goblins’ backs and decapitated them like a furious animal in her barbarian rage. People will find it scary but not Astarion. Her strength and energy attracted and fascinated him. And maybe, maybe all of these will make him fantasize what is it like to be held it these strong arms. Feeling extremely warm like you are bathed in the sunlight? Feeling safe?

1. Who is predominantly in control of ennard? Elizabeth? Circus baby? A combination of all of the funtimes?

2. Was Elizabeth aware eggs was mike before showing up at their house or did she just think he was William?

3. Does mike actually like ennard or does he just tolerate them because his sister is in there?

4. Has mike ever tried to get them to replace or change the mask? I'd imagine a pure white clown mask isn't very subtle when out in public.

Liz recognised her brother at the moment Mike offered them home. she was like "oh so it's you, asshole. almost killed ya, how unfortunate"

- at first he was afraid of them even with a thought that there is his little sister inside. then he became sceptical. he does tolerate Enn bc they didn't kill him. but of course Mike has a soft spot for Enn due to the bond they have together as a family. and he wants to be.. a better brother for Liz this time

hi! you're a big q!roier fan, so I was wondering if you had any tips on writing him for someone who doesn't know that much about him! I wanna include him in one of my fics, but I don't know where to start when it comes to writing him, so some tips would help a lot!

hello my dearest anon . .. ...... :-) i myself am not that great at this i think ahahaha but i will give you my best advice....

id say the most important thing that you've got to remember when writing him is that he swears . a lot. and he's also a jokester type of guy, even in lore moments he'll throw in a meme or two (ej: estoy cansado jefe) yet his cubito as a whole uses jokes as a coping mechanism. that doesn't mean he can't recognize his own feelings (ej. being upset at qcellbit killing abueloier) and can be often very empathetic, knowing how to start AND end convos. he's also very charismatic i feel like. this also gives him a leeway to be an asshole sometimes LOL (ej. him teasing qmaxo) here's some of roier's mannerisms which translate into his cubito... both in eng and esp. erm erm what else he's also not that serious but can recognize when a situation needs him to be (ej. him guiding bobby through a tantrum)

though RECENTLY his cubito has kept most of those traits, he's definitely going through a lot which has caused him to be more abrasive and blunt. he's also very self destructive and suicidal and expresses that a lot through his actions (ej purgatory and the pool) it makes him a lot more rougher so he doesn't get attached (spoiler alert. he does anyways) he also holds grudges.......... and gets revenge if he can ^_^ (ej him still not being over qspreen killing him) he also impels people to do things he doesnt want to do or feels like benefit him . etcetc

Ok so I want to talk about harbingers playability really quick

1.We knew that Signora would not be playable since day 1 bc she was always marked as monster in game files, not as playable characher. Scaramouche, on the other hand, was always labeled as avatar_boy_catalyst (or something like that). People who wanted for Signora to be playable were not just overdosing on hopium but straight up ignored all the red flags.

People who keep saying Dottore/Arlecchino/etc. will not be playable are also just ignoring what's in front of them. Dottore is labeled in game the way other playable characters are labeled. From recent leaks Arlecchino is also labeled this way. It seems that Scara/Signora incident didn't teach these people anything. Bruh

2.Voice actors are important.

Look at Signora's va. All of them. We don't know what her eng va is and her other va are not that popular.

Now look at other harbingers' va. I will talk about eng va only but you can look up their va for other languages and see that they are also pretty famous. They are either have high positions in the voice/acting/art industry or have famous roles (or both). Dottore's eng va is Mick Wingert. He voiced fucking Iron Man. Or Pierro's va, Richard Tatum. He is artistic director in some LA company. Or Michael Tatum, eng va for Pantalone. He has a lot of roles. like... A LOT.

You get the point. There is literally no reason for MHY to hire these VAs (that probably have a pretty pricey price-list for their work) just to give their voices to a characters they will just kill off.

3.This point is kinda strange but i noticed it randomly and now i can't get it out of my head. Official art.

Try to remember one official art of Signora. You can't, can you? That's bc it doesn't exist, even tho she played some kinda important role in Mond/Liyue/inazuma plotline.

Now try to remember one official art of Scaramouche (not Wanderer). You will remember some artwork pretty quickly bestie. His first appearance in the official art was in 1.1 for the Unreconciled Stars. Then he was featured in 3.1 official art, then in 3.2 as a mecha.

Dottore now also has appearance in the official art in 3.1 as well.

4.Design.

This one will be focused on Pulchinella and Pierro bc they are in the same boat (kinda). You see, I saw a lot of people being like "well, Pierro and Pulchinella both have facial hair and we know that MHY will never have character like that in their game".

And... no. I see where these people were coming from but this argument is invalid BC Pulchinella was featured in Teyvat Travail video. (even tho he is faceless there). ALL characters that were shown in this video will be playable. It would NOT make sense for MHY to make all chars from there playable except Pulchinella. Like... 1) they could feature someone else from Snezhnaya in Travail if they wanted to go with this design for grandpa, 2) or they could simply give him different design.

Point is, Pulchinella will be playable like he is now. And as for the model... Well, we still don't have child male model in game but we definitely will at some point. MHY could just change it a little so it could suit gramps better and that's it.

Moving on to Pierro. Pulchinella has facial hair, Pierro does as well. If gramps is playable, then argument about Pierro not being playable just bc of his facial hair doesn't work anymore.

Also not even 24hrs ago we had this leak of MHY working on new male model and very heavy accent was on Pierro in this art sheet. So...

Of course I could just be wrong, delusional and overdosed on copium. But i genuinely think that all harbingers will be playable (except Signora ofc) in one way or another.

I’m in a sad mood, so ofc hellspawn angst and sad spawn Astarion ending occupy my mind. in advance I want to say that I am not familiar with the topic of how the afterlife works in DND, so i'm sorry if it doesn't make sense at all. It's just some picture which sits in my mind since playing Astarion's origin. I'm bad at writing fics, but i _need_ to write these thoughts somewhere bc hellspawn has me in a chokehold. After defeating brain Astarion had to hide from the sun. Before he had time to get used to the sweet caress of the sun on his skin after 200 years of fear of it, it hurts him again and now not only physically. It took away the right to say the last goodbye to the person dearest to him. No. It cruelly took away his last chance to persuade Karlach return to Avernus. Convince her to be alive. To be alive _together_.

«Maybe never seeing the sun again is just the price of freedom.» — he said. What good is it to regain your freedom only to be immediately refused to share it with Karlach?

Astarion recalled their conversation at the graveyard when they visited her parents. She tried not to show it, but he felt how afraid she was not knowing what to expect after death. «There is no such thing as death. There is only change» — her mother thought. Her father used to say that «that was a load of woo. gone is gone». He didn’t want to hurt her, agreeing with his father’s words about the futility of asking the gods for favours. Would her father be true to himself and so harsh as usual if he knew what fate was destined for his daughter?

Astarion knew Karlach liked mum’s idea. He assumed that in this way it would be easier for her to let go of the world that she had missed all these years and which she had not long to enjoy. If death is a change, then her mother’s hair could be a grass she liked to lay down in the early mornings or her father is the air which she is making her last breaths. If death is a change, then maybe she won’t leave this world at all and she would join them. So be it then.

And Karlach is gone. When night fell, he came to the pier. Some of the ash was carried away by the wind during the day (Karlach, is it your father lead you the way?) He wanted to know what she had already seen on the other side while he had to hide here in the shadows. Alone again.

imagine lucerys and aemond getting married. they’ve been betrothed for quite a long time. lucerys is head over hills for aemond, he was scared and sceptic of the wedding at first because he thought uncle hated him for taking his eye. but aemond showed him affection and acted friendly and romantic... lucerys began to trust him and fell in love.

that was a mistake because it was all uncle’s revenge plan. aemond wanted to humiliate luke in the worst possible way.

smth ive noticed that drives me a little crazy is that like. english speakers are allowed to give ocs more "unusual" names (think like noun names or something similar). and no one bats an eye. but the moment someone does the same thing but the word isnt in english everyone throws a fit. like if someone speaks idk tamil or something and wants to name their oc the tamil word for like. window. or whatever. people get mad and go "waaaah wah thats a TERRIBLE name it sounds WRONG" meanwhile english speakers can name their ocs like paintbrush or smth all the time and no one bats an eye (which they shouldnt, its fine, who cares). its just very telling. why can people only have fun with it if its english

i finished it yesterday yay!

1. SHI MEI HAS WATER ELEMENT. I KNEW IT. I love it how it is kinda easy to miss, because Mo Ran doesn't mention it right away. It is said only several chapters later and probably if i werent making these posts and i wouldn't pay attention, it could easily fly over my head. But like... I still don't think that person at the end of vol 2 was Shi Mei. Would he really get reborn just to get that dick xD Given that the person really was reborn. Idk idk.

2. if you thought Shi Mei was my most problematic fave, im here to tell you i also adore Rong Jiu :))) I was interested in the bitch since the beginning but i didnt know he would show up again! And i was really sad when it turned out he died. And then i was even more sad because his story is ehhh AND THEN i checked out him in the manhua and he is so Jut Lung (banana fish) coded. No wonder i love him. But also he is so awful and annoying oh god. I still hope he will show up again to stir up some drama

3. and tbh shi mei annoyed me a bit. Bestie, fishing for Mo Ran's attention while CWN quite literally died and MR is obviously not well? And then he was weird in that scene with the soul catching lanterns, he never really said he is ready to go after CWN like the others and i was convinced he's gonna drop that lantern after all. Now tell me, am i just noticing it now and he was always weird or does it only start to show up in the later chapters?

3. CHU WANNING MADE WONTONS

its pretty surprising given his absolute failure at cooking the cabbage tofu something because the result would make Xie Lian proud. Like i said in the other post tho: "now i want to know if shi mei was deliberately doing all the other things to make mo ran fall for him or was he just there chilling and the guy just fell for him out of nowhere and misinterpreted everything like he does".

ALSO OH SHIT now it makes sense Shi Mei didn't make him wontons after CWN died. When I read that i was like huh, why not wontons, that would surely cheer him up more, but i totally ignored that thinking nothing of it. And literally only writing this post i realized. Makes me wonder how many other details i missed that paint the bigger picture. Ahhh i just love when books do that.

4. speaking of not thinking: i didn't realize before that Mo Ran's mom was courtesan. I don't know why, i really don't.

5. overall there is more questions than there is answers. At least its now clear what happened in Mo Ran's previous lifetime and why CWN couldn't save Shi Mei. But why the events are so different now? AND WILL IT REALLY TAKE CWN 5 YEARS TO COME BACK
