I started reviewing again!

Okay since we’re still in the middle of a pandemic, our review center decided to take the classes online as well. Contrary to what other people are experiencing, I learned that I’m more productive like this. I was able to do more inside in the confines of my home than studying outside. Though I missed studying in libraries, I think I can handle this.

Let’s just wish that I’ll be able to continue experiencing this months after. Take care of yourselves people.🍃

Hi, I’ve been lurking around the studyblr community for a little while now, and finally decided to start posting ^~^ If you want to reblog this or message me, I’ll follow you back if you post things about studying! New studyblr!

I´ve been lurking in the community for a while, and now I´m ready to commit. 

I´m Purple. I´m a college student who´s about graduate and loves learning by themself. Due to some family trouble (LGBT+ related, non binary polyamory here ), I´m starting to pursue a career as a data scientist. I´m graduating as a linguist, currently filling my knowledge gaps to become an excellent analist. I work mostly on research.

I love music: I play guitar, currently learning piano. I sing. I write. I paint. Rarely I get a finished product of most of this, but I´m learning to be OK with not being perfect at everything I do (and getting more physical results that way). I´ve got autism and I´m learning how to use that as an advantage, but I´m not quite there yet. I love being practical and solving problems. Current challenges? 1)Not getting frustrated about not solving a problem 2) Sound human while writing in English.

Bujos and nice aesthetics mesmerize me, but I rarely have time for them. Still, I make my best to make this process a bit prettier.

A long week in school with quizzes and long lab experiments. A little behind on tasks but things will be fine!

Been busy lately with lab experiments and project work. But things will be fine after the first term ends. Just got to last another 3 weeks. 🙂🥲🙃

My research work has been going fine so far! Although it seems like I am allocating more tjme to it that I should as I still have 5 other modules to worry about. Well, it is time to juggle between it all! :)

Had a long day today cos of classes. At the very least, I got my code working! The sunset casted a yellowish hue in the sky, I just can't resist to not take a photo during my toilet break!

Been extremely busy lately with my FYP. I had processed my experimental results and obtained some pretty interesting finding. Currently working on finding papers online to support my finding! But my professor did mentioned that if there aren't papers on it, we may be working to publish a paper on this! It is just really exciting to be a part of this experiment altogether!

Currently rewatching lectures that I skipped to work on other projects. I finally had some time off from my FYP to work on other stuff. I am extremely happy now!

November lately, 2023

November has been a ride so far. Here is a detailed overview of my 10 days of November:

Spend most of my days, staring at a code to incorporate a better way to store data in a text file without using an SD card or EEPROM as my arduino board doesnt have that functionality.

Tried out a minimum of 7 data storing methods with the board, only for 1 to work properly

My arduino board becomes fried

Travelled to town to purchase a new board and deliver it to school for further testing

Spent my weekends working on Printed Circuit Boards, checking on designs etc

Coded my weekends away to optimise the codes into functions and tested it with a verification app, at this point, i have added data storage, data retrieval, error handling, data clearing, averaging into the code. All worked with some bugs in place.

Attempted to incorporate with our own app and failed

After group members testing, app is only compatible with old codes and the new script cannot be used. (Illogical as the base code for new script is the exact same and had tested with the old code in this new script and app failed)

PCB board connections had issues, board cannot be powered

Tested and troubleshooted for about 5 hours straight

Found out during dinner that board was not grounded

Went back to solder a connection

Arduino board died before tests cannot be done

Another board used and PCB worked

By the end of tomorrow, this project is over. In the end, we had a working product that can do the functions we have envisioned. It is just unfortunate that my newly coded functions cannot be incorporated with the main code. But at least, it works so my efforts are not all wasted.

But yes, it has been a hectic week and it is mainly from a singular project that requires us ti come up with a product from scratch. Our device is working, and that is the important thing.

My group will be presenting on our product tomorrow morning. Wish us luck! No photos of our product as there is a chance it might be further developed in future.
